WWE Superstars Recap 12.03.09
After the opening pyrotechnics, Michael Cole reminded fans we're 10 nights away from TLC Pay-Per-View. Tonight's main event will be from Smackdown when Matt Hardy takes on Dolph Ziggler. The Raw commentary was on hand for the opening match. Legacy arrived out for the opening tag team match.Primo & Evan Bourne vs. Cody Rhodes & Ted Dibiase
During the latter stages of the match, Legacy worked to keep Primo away from a tag while they tried to wear him down in typical tag team fashion. Primo finally was able to flip over Dibiase's back and make a tag out to Bourne who came in with momentum.Bourne used several kick moves to Dibiase's legs, but as Bourne went to go against the ropes, Rhodes pulled the top rope down and Bourne spilled out of the ring. Superstars took its first commercial break.
When Superstars came back, Bourne was trying to escape Dibiase's submission hold. He fought back on his feet until Dibiase leveled him with a hard clothesline. More submission chin and arm lock holds followed from Dibiase. The heels now played the keep away game with Bourne. Bourne avoided a charge from Rhodes in the corner and tried to jump to Primo but Rhodes pulled him away and tagged in Dibiase.
Primo finally tagged in and started taking it to Cody Rhodes. Dibiase came in and got hit by a dropkick. Primo delivered a big boot to Rhodes near the ropes. Bourne rushed back in and with Primo's help jumped onto the top rope and dove off to take out Dibiase. Unfortunately for Primo that mistake gave Rhodes time to sneak up on him and hit Cross Rhodes for the winning pin.
Winners: Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase win via pinfall over Primo and Evan Bourne.

The Hurricane vs. Zack Ryder
Rosa Mendes accompanied Ryder to the ring. Byron Saxton and Josh Matthews were there to cover their show's match, discussing how the mystery of the Hurricane continues as he has kept his mask on.Late in this match, The Hurricane had Ryder face down on the mat, then signaled he was going to take flight. He climbed on the corner, but Ryder was back up and went up to fight Hurricane. Ryder went for a Superplex with Hurricane blocking it and knocking Ryder to the mat. Hurricane hit a flying body press and then a Shining wizard kick which caused Ryder to roll out of the ring. Rosa Mendes was nearby and looked concerned as the ref and Hurricane both looked out at Ryder who was down outside. Suddenly, a masked assailant snuck into the ring and attacked Hurricane from behind. The masked individual appeared to have the same build and movements as Paul Burchill. He used the fishermen suplex that Burchill uses as his finisher as well.
Winner: The Hurricane wins due to disqualification when an unknown individual interfered in the match.
Superstars returned with a highlight reel of D-Generation X pranks and funny moments including their mockery of the McMahon's.
Smackdown's Todd Grisham and Matt Striker were now out for the main event match commentary. First, they introduced the Raw Rebound which had severe TLC implications. During Raw, John Cena called out Sheamus to come down to the ring and face him, but instead he got Carlito. Carlito informed Cena everyone from the WWE is tired of Cena hogging the spotlight and having the title. Carlito said at TLC John Cena's reign over the WWE is over. Cena retaliated as Carlito prepared to spit apple in his face, but delivering the Attitude Adjustment and tossing him out of the ring. Sheamus came to the ramp, so Cena told him to come get some. Sheamus started down towards the ring with Cena ready to go, but then backed off and went backstage.
