Raw Preview 01/09/12

Tonight's Raw SuperShow arrives with many fans from the WWE Universe wondering what is going on with Chris Jericho?  Y2J made his big return on last week's Raw, much to the excitement and delight of the crowd.  However, Jericho did a lot of celebrating with the fans, yelling, cheering and posing, but no talking.  In fact, he dropped the microphone in the ring, and did more celebrating, before bounding up the ramp and eventually walking backstage.  The puzzling return of one of pro wrestling's top superstars has many anticipating what his next move will be.  Will Chris Jericho finally speak on tonight's episode of Raw?

Last week's show also saw Zack Ryder nearly pulled down into Hell by the Big Red Monster, Kane.  Luckily, John Cena was able to make a save, before Kane could pull Ryder down a hole in the ring.  Cena and Ryder watched as explosive flames shot up from the ring, signaling that Kane is not messing around.  Kane had promised Cena earlier in Raw that he would become a witness to hate later on.  Will Kane have more demonic tricks and tactics in store for Cena on tonight's show?  What will Cena have to say regarding last week?

Also, as the 2012 Royal Rumble approaches, many of the superstars of Raw and Smackdown are preparing for the big event.  Last week saw Dolph Ziggler able to defeat CM Punk in a WWE Championship match due to interference from interim Raw GM John Laurinaitis.  Since Ziggler won due to Punk being counted out, Laurinaitis later booked another title match between Dolph and Punk.  This next match will take place at the Royal Rumble, with a special stipulation; John Laurinaitis will be the special guest referee.  What will be next for CM Punk, Dolph Ziggler. and John Laurinaitis as they all prepare for this match?
