SmackDown Results 03/29/13

Smackdown Results from Hershey, PA:

The Rock came out to start off SmackDown and discussed Hershey, PA from when he was younger.  He started to cut a promo about John Cena and WrestleMania, but John Laurinaitis interrupts and comes down to the ring.  JL says that he was given permission to come out by Teddy Long.  He says Cena is the reason he was fired and wants to be in Rock's corner at WrestleMania.  Rock says it's up to the people to decide, and they boo JL.  Rock says he and Laurinaitis should send Cena a message together, but first they need to shake.  Rock then hit a Spinebuster and People's Elbow on Laurinaitis before leaving.

Chris Jericho defeated Wade Barrett in a non-title match.  Jericho said post-match he'd love to face the IC champ at Mania but guesses he'll face Fandango instead.  Fandango comes out and Jericho picks on his name.  Fandango walks to the ring but decides to just turn around and leave.

They had an interview featuring Paul Heyman talking to Matt Striker about the Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H match.

They had a weight lifting competition between Mark Henry and Ryback with Teddy Long and Booker standing nearby to officiate it.  During the contest, the two men achieved the same score.  Booker told them they have a no contact policy.  Henry dropped the weight bar across Ryback's neck and Ryback rolled around as if he was choking.

Team Hell No & Kaitlyn defeated Dolph Ziggler, Big E Langston & AJ via pinfall.  Late in the match, Kane gave a big boot to Big E.  Kaitlyn scored the pinfall on AJ for the win.

They had a promo from The Shield directed towards their WrestleMania opponents.

Jack Swagger and Great Khali wrestled to a double countout.  Swagger put a Patriot Lock on Hornswoggle.  Ricardo Rodriguez came out and challenged Swagger to come get him, then Del Rio snuck in the ring and put an armbreaker on Zeb Colter.  Del Rio held onto Zeb and Ricardo hit him with his crutch.  Swagger tries to come back and Del Rio hits him.

They had a backstage interview with Big Show, Randy Orton and Sheamus about WM29 and The Shield.

They talked about an Arnold Schwarzenegger tweet where he talked about inducting his friend Bruno Sammartino into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Sheamus, Big Show and Randy Orton defeated Rhodes Scholars & Antonio Cesaro via pinfall.  The action broke down late with Show shoving Sandow to Orton for an RKO.  From there, Orton and Show revved up Sheamus for a Brouge Kick on Cody for the pinfall win.  The Shield showed up post-match with Orton, Sheamus and Show chasing them off into the crowd before posing at the top of the stairs to end SmackDown.

Raw Results 06/18/12

Raw Results from Uniondale, NY:

Justin Roberts introduced Mick Foley who came out in a suit.  He said he was contacted by the Board of Directors to audition as a possible GM.  This week, he will be interim Raw and Smackdown GM.  He said for his first match, he's set up Sheamus and CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan and Kane.  He said unfortunately, tonight is also John Laurinaitis' "farewell address."  Laurinaitis came out on his crutch, wearing a neckbrace.

He announced that he had booked a 3-on-1 handicap match before he was fired last night.  So later tonight, it's Laurinaitis, Otunga, and Big Show versus John Cena.  As JL walked up the ramp on his crutch, Sheamus' music hit and he came  down the ramp past him smiling.  Next, CM Punk's music hit and he arrived out to gloat as he walked past Laurinaitis.  Punk walked over and kicked fake dirt on JL before giving him the "you're outta here!"

CM Punk will be featured on tonight's Jimmy Fallon Late Show on NBC at 12:35 EST/11:35 CT.

CM Punk and Sheamus defeated Kane and Daniel Bryan by pinfall.  The close saw AJ come out to her theme music wearing a Kane mask and skipping around the outside of the ring.  That made Kane leave Daniel Bryan on his own to face Punk and Sheamus.  Punk tagged in Sheamus, then did GTS on Bryan, before Sheamus hit the Brogue Kick for the win.

Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler started arguing backstage over who is the better superstar.  Swagger said Ziggler was only World Champ for like 4 minutes.  Ziggler said he's been carrying Swagger for their team.  Vickie showed up and said she was sick of all their arguing.  She said it's time to find out who deserves her services most, leading to a Swagger vs. Ziggler match.

David Otunga and Laurinaitis were in an office backstage, gloating about the upcoming handicap match against Cena.  Show came in and asked what's funny, and Laurinaitis talked about how the odds were stacked against Cena tonight.  Show told them he doesn't find anything funny, and left.  Otunga said someone's in a bad mood, and Laurinaitis told him Cena will get his tonight.

Dolph Ziggler defeated Jack Swagger by pinfall.  Swagger had a good bit of offense during this one, attacking Ziggler's knee.  However, Ziggler escaped the ankle lock towards the end of the match, and hit his Zig Zag for the quick win.  Post-match, Vickie got in the ring and planted a big kiss on Ziggler.

They showed highlights of Triple H's speech from No Way Out PPV where he called out Brock Lesnar and challenged him to a Summerslam match.  Tonight, Lesnar's response.

Jerry Lawler talked about his most memorable episode of Raw from 1998, when Vince McMahon was in the hospital and got a visit from Mankind and Mr. Socko.  He also was paid a visit by Stone Cold Steve Austin who attacked Vince in the hospital bed, beating on his leg in a cast, and smashing a bedpan over his head.

Brock Lesnar's music hit and after a pause it was Paul Heyman that arrived out instead of Brock.  Heyman was all smiles as some fans cheered for him.  Heyman said that "no" Lesnar won't drop his lawsuit against WWE, and he won't drop his lawsuit against HHH.  He also said "no Brock Lesnar will not fight Triple H at Summerslam."  Heyman thanked everyone for their time and attention before starting to leave the ring.

HHH's music hit to bring him out before Heyman could exit though.  Triple H talked about how Brock Lesnar will appear on the Summerslam poster, and had it shown on the big screen.  He said all Lesnar has to do is to agree to fight him.  Triple H said if Lesnar doesn't do this, he'll go down as the guy that is scared of Triple H.  That got Heyman thinking about it, but he laughed it off, telling HHH to stop pretending to be a wrestler.  Heyman told him to go back home to his corporate tower and his family, because in Lesnar's world, HHH isn't king of anything.  Heyman started taunting HHH saying he was getting more and more like Vince daily.

When Heyman brought up Stephanie, Triple H grabbed him by the shirt collar and started choking him with Heyman saying he couldn't breathe.  HHH let go though, and Heyman said he knew HHH wouldn't hit him, because he can outthink him every time.  Heyman said he sees all of HHH's moves coming a mile away.  HHH paused for a moment, then clocked Heyman, leaving him laying on the mat.  Triple H got down and asked "did you see that coming?  Tell Brock Lesnar I'll see him at Summerslam, unless he's afraid the same will happen to him."  HHH dropped the mic and left the ring.

Alberto Del Rio defeated Santino Marella via submission.  Late in the match, Santino hit some moves and got ready to grab the Cobra sock.  However, Del Rio got up and hit an enziguiri kick, followed by the cross arm-breaker to make Santino tap.  Post-match, Del Rio kicked the Cobra away before leaving the ring.  Ricardo Rodriguez hit a single-arm DDT to add further insult to Santino, with Del Rio smirking from the ramp.

They had a segment where divas champ Layla came out to the ring and introduced Cyndi Lauper along with Wendi Richter, making their first appearance in 20 years for WWE.  They were interrupted in the ring by Heath Slater who told them all to get out of his ring and kept mocking them for being has beens that nobody cares about now.  Roddy Piper came out to get in Slater's face.  Slater said Piper didn't even like Lauper or Richter back in the day.  Piper said he was here to set the record straight, and actually gave Lauper a gold record (Piper had smashed one over Captain Lou Albano's head years ago in WWF).  He apologized for what he did to Lou.

Slater kept taunting and mocking them, trying to make then leave.  He said they all need to get out of the ring so the world can hear his new single again.  Piper thumbed him in the eye and Lauper smashed the gold record over his head, sending Slater down to the mat.  Everyone danced, with Slater apparently bleeding.  Cole apologized for the segment.

Rosa Mendes, Primo and Epico were in the ring looking upset over last night's No Way Out loss.  Abraham Washington came out to introduce his new tag team, and future champions, Prime Time Players.

Epico and Primo won by countout over Darren Young and Titus O'Neill.  Late in the match, Primo and Epico hit a double dropkick move on Young and O'Neil.  Since they already have the #1 contender spot, Young and O'Neil decided to leave the match, getting counted out.

John Laurinaitis came to the ring for the main event, accusing Cena of cheating last night.  He said tonight Cena gets the beatdown he deserves for what happened last night.  Laurinaitis said he (JL) will one day be in the Hall of Fame.  He introduced David Otunga.

Teddy Long ripped up his nametag at ringside and joined the commentators for the match.  When Big Show came out, he got on the mic and talked about how it took six men to defeat him last night.  He said that led to JL getting fired, and thanked him for his contract, and allowing him to be himself again.  Show said he's already proven himself against Cena, and is on to bigger and better things.  He left JL and Otunga to compete 2-on-1 against Cena.

John Cena defeated the team of John Laurinaitis and David Otunga by submission.  At one point, Laurinaitis asked for a tag since Otunga had Cena down.  Otunga tagged him in, so JL came in and threw his crutch down before tearing his neckbrace off.  Late in the match, Otunga decided to bail on Laurinaitis, leaving him on his own to face Cena.  Cena delivered a right hand and a flurry of offense on Laurinaitis, including Five Knuckle Shuffle.  He hit three AA's on Laurinaitis before eventually locking in the STF for the win.

Raw ended with Teddy Long celebrating ringside, as Laurinaitis was still down from the loss.  Cena celebrated as well and gave a "You Can't See Me" wave to Johnny.

The night of Sunday, June 17th will bring the 2012 No Way Out results to the WWE Universe.  These matches hold plenty of fates with them.  There's not only grudge matches and major championships on the line at this latest pro wrestling event, but also someone's job!

With this latest Pay-Per-View, either John Cena or John Laurinaitis will be fired as of Monday Night Raw the next night. Cena will be facing Big Show in a steel cage, with the rumor being that Vince McMahon will be ringside to watch. John Laurinaitis also told Cena on Smackdown that if he loses to Show, he gets fired on Raw.

As far as championships go, CM Punk defends the WWE title against Kane and Daniel Bryan in a Triple Threat match, with AJ at ringside. Also, Dolph Ziggler will battle Sheamus for the World Heavyweight Championship. Meanwhile, Beth Phoenix will try to win back the Divas championship from current champ Layla. The latest results and match recaps will be listed below.

Click here to refresh this page for updated results.

Brodus Clay vs. David Otunga

Clay showed up for tonight's match, with his hurt knee taped up.  He still seemed to be moving well despite the injury.  From the start of the match, Clay dominated, beating up on Otunga in the corner.  However, at one point during a referee's warning to Clay, Otunga rushed over to clip his hurt knee.  From there, Otunga kept working on the injury to keep Clay grounded.  However, Brodus made his comeback, and at one point did an overhead, backwards toss slam, which caused Otunga to roll out of the ring.  Otunga got back to his feet around 7 or 8 of the ref's count, but paused instead of getting in the ring, allowing the countout to happen.  Clay stared down Otunga who was outside the ring, before dancing with the Funkacdactyls in the ring.

Winner: Brodus Clay defeated David Otunga by countout.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Sheamus
World Heavyweight Championship Match

Late in the match, both guys were down on the mat after a near fall from Ziggler.  Sheamus managed to counter Ziggler's attempted sleeper by hitting the Irish Curse backbreaker.  He did the multiple smashes to Dolph's chest with his forearm, before getting riled up from the corner and connecting on a Brogue Kick for the win.

Winner: Sheamus wins via pinfall over Dolph Ziggler to retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Santino Marella vs. Ricardo Rodriguez
Non-Title Tuxedo Match

Early on, Ricardo got upset at Santino getting more crowd cheers than he was, so he tore part of Santino's tuxedo off.  Santino responded by pulling off part of Ricardo's, then doing a mock matador scene, where Santino ended up rushing out through the ropes.

The close saw Ricardo start stripping Santino, but Santino managed to grab the Cobra sock and escape.  He kicked Ricardo in the face, then stripped him down to his underwear (Alberto Del Rio underwear) for the win.

Winner: Santino Marella wins the tuxedo match over Ricardo Rodriguez.

Fatal Fourway Tag Team Match

Competing in this match were The Uso's, Primo & Epico, Darren Young & Titus O'Neil, and Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd. Abraham Washington was ringside for Primo and Epico.

Late in the match, Primo got thrown ringside by a huracanrana from Tyson Kidd. Abraham Washington rolled Primo back in the ring, to try to help him get a pinfall, but Darren Young hit his finisher on Primo instead. Epico went to break up the pin, but AW held him back, allowing Young to get the win.

Post-match, Washington got into the ring and celebrated with Young and O'Neil, upsetting Rosa and her team. They ended up shoving AW down to the mat. Titus and Young saved their apparent new manager though, knocking Primo and Epico out of the ring.

Winners: Darren Young and Titus O'Neil won by pinfall over Primo and Epico to become new #1 contenders for the WWE Tag Team titles.

Cody Rhodes vs. Christian
Intercontinental Championship Match

In the late stages of this one, Christian got to the top rope for his Frogsplash, but Rhodes climbed up to battle.  Christian shoved him to the mat, and went for the Frogsplash.  Rhodes put up his knees and blocked, then went for the Beautiful Disaster.  Christian avoided it and then hit a Spear for the win.

Winner: Christian wins via pinfall over Cody Rhodes to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

Triple H made his appearance at the No Way Out PPV and discussed all the legal mumbo jumbo he's had to deal with due to Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman.  HHH said he and Lesnar are both fighters, so that's what they should do - fight.  He challenged Brock to a match out in the open saying "Brock Lesnar, let's fight."

Beth Phoenix vs. Layla
WWE Divas Championship Match

Towards the end of this one, Beth showed off her strength with a military press of Layla overhead.  Layla managed to counter it into a DDT, and then hit her finisher, the Lay-Out to get the win.

Winner: Layla wins via pinfall over Beth Phoenix to retain the WWE Divas Championship.

Sin Cara vs. Hunico

This impromptu match lasted about 6 minutes. Late in the contest, Sin Cara made his comeback, hitting a huracanrana from the top rope. He used several kicks on Hunico before hitting his finisher - a spinning single-arm head scissors takedown.

Winner: Sin Cara wins via pinfall over Hunico.

Kane vs. Daniel Bryan vs. CM Punk
WWE Title Triple Threat Match

The commentators discussed how Punk has held the WWE title since November and survived various opponents to remain champ.  Late in this Triple Threat match, Punk hit a GTS on Bryan, but Kane yanked Bryan out of the ring.  Later, Punk was going to go for GTS on Kane, but Kane came back and hit a chokeslam for the near fall.  Punk barely got out of it.  Kane yelled at the ref, then tried for a Tombstone on Punk, who fought out of it.  AJ got up on the ring apron, and apparently got hit off the apron during Kane and Punk fighting.  Punk managed to recover from their incident and hit the GTS on Kane to get the win.

Post-match, Kane went over to check on AJ at ringside and picked her up to help bring her backstage.  As Kane carried her up the ramp, AJ looked over Kane's shoulder and smiled back at Punk in the ring, to indicate she just helped Punk win the match.

Winner: CM Punk wins via pinfall over Kane to retain the WWE Championship.

Dan Delaney & Rob Grymes vs. Ryback
2-on-1 Handicap Match

Pior to the match, the two amateurs clowned around and sang the old Wrestlemania theme song in the ring, before Ryback made his entrance. He had the usual dominant performance in this match before picking up both guys on his shoulders and hitting his Samoan Drop finisher to get the double pin. He looked at the camera saying "Feed Me More!" after the win.

Winner: Ryback wins via pinfall over Dan Delaney and Rob Grymes.

John Cena vs. Big Show
Steel Cage Match

If Big Show loses this match, John Laurinaitis will be fired from WWE. If John Cena loses he is fired from WWE.

For the frantic finish in this one, John Cena and Show traded offense.  Laurinaitis and McMahon were ringisde to watch, with Laurinaitis leaving his seat and knocking out the ringside ref.  McMahon grabbed JL, but got shoved into the cage door, which slammed on Cena's head.  Back in the ring, Show hit a chokeslam on Cena for a near fall.  Cena ducked Show's KO Punch attempt, which hit the ref in the ring and knocked him out.  Show then landed a KO punch on Cena to knock him out too.  Staff checked on Vince McMahon ringside.

Show looked ready to leave the cage, but Brodus Clay came to the ringside area with a steel chair in hand.  He taunted Show to come out through the door and get some.  Santino and Alex Riley showed up, as did Zack Ryder, all hitting the cage wall to prevent Show's escape.  Kofi Kingston also arrived ringside as well and kicked Show off the cage wall when he was trying to climb it.

Cena finally came to, and tried to leave through the cage door.  Show grabbed him, but Cena managed to lift up Show and hit the AA to drop him center ring.  Cena tried to make a pin, but the ref was still out cold.  Cena started his clumb up the cage wall, as Show started to crawl for the door.  Brodus Clay went over and held back Laurinaitis from interfering.  Cena dropped off the cage to the floor, just moments before Show crawled out the door.  Cena was declared winner.

Post-match, Clay let go of Laurinaitis, who tried to use his crutch as a weapon.  Cena grabbed Laurinaitis up on his shoulder.  Vince McMahon was back in the scene, and yelled at him "John Laurinaitis, You're Fired!"  Cena then hit an Attitude Adjustment on Laurinaitis on the Spanish announcers table.  McMahon went backstage and Cena celebrated his win in the cage, as Cole and the commentators talked over who would run Raw and Smackdown now.

Winner: John Cena wins the steel cage match versus Big Show.  John Laurinaitis is fired as Smackdown and Raw General Manager.

Smackdown Results 06/15/12

Smackdown Results from Manchester, NH:

The show opened with a higlight video of what happened in the ring on Raw involving Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, John Cena, and Big Show.  A scuffle between Big Show and Cena happened right before Vince was about to fire Laurinaitis.  McMahon got knocked out by a punch thrown by Big Show intended for Cena.

AJ arrived to start off the show, with a clip shown from the Punk & AJ vs. Kane and Bryan match on Raw, where AJ skipped around Kane, then jumped on him and started to kiss him.  AJ started to explain in the ring why she kissed Kane, but was interrupted by Vickie Guerrero, who brought out Dolph Ziggler.  They started to harass AJ in the ring, with Vickie slapping AJ in the face.

CM Punk came out to intervene, telling Dolph he always says he's going to win the big match but never quite delivers, and Vickie just keeps talking him up.  Daniel Bryan came out next to say AJ has Punk wrapped around her little finger, and if she's in his corner at No Way Out, her bad luck for Punk, will bring him the WWE title.  Sheamus came out last and said if everyone's out there now, why not have a match?

Dolph Ziggler and Daniel Bryan defeated Sheamus and CM Punk by pinfall.  Late in the match, Sheamus had the advantage and prepared for a Brogue Kick on Ziggler.  Vickie got on the apron, so AJ went and attacked her, causing AJ to fall in the ring, distracting Sheamus.  Ziggler got a quick rollup pin to steal the win for the heels.

Post-match, Sheamus chased Ziggler through the crowd.  AJ got in the ring with Vickie screaming at her, and then shoving her.  AJ got a crazed look on her face and pounced on Vickie, beating her up on the mat.  Vickie escaped the ring and started crawling up the ramp.  AJ chased her down and grabbed her legs, but Vickie kicked her away hard into the ring.  AJ fell to the floor and Vickie ran off.

Kane's pyro hit and he came down to the ring to pick up AJ and carry her up the ramp.  Suddenly, Punk attacked Kane from behind to save AJ.  Kane and Punk started fighting down the ramp to the ring.  Back in the ring, Bryan got in and started to punch Punk, but then was chokeslammed by Kane.  Punk got up and got chokeslammed as well, followed by Kane making the ringposts explode as AJ watched from the ramp.  She fell to her knees and started laughing as Kane looked up the ramp at her.

Brodus Clay defeated Heath Slater by pinfall.  Prior to the match, Clay talked about how he isn't allowed on WWE Raw or near Big Show, due to John Laurinaitis.  He asked who Johnny's got for him tonight and Slater came out.  Clay dominated from the start in a short match, hitting a splash in the corner, and knocking Slater down to the mat before running the ropes and hitting his splash finisher.  David Otunga came out after Clay's match and attacked him, requiring Clay to get helped backstage.

Beth Phoenix defeated Alicia Fox by pinfall.  Phoenix made relatively quick work of Alicia and hit the Glam Slam with the win, making sure Layla saw her do it.  Layla was on commentary during the match and had a staredown with Phoenix post-match.  These two meet at No Way Out for the Divas championship.

John Laurinaitis and The Big Show came out to cut a promo about No Way Out.

Christian defeated Jack Swagger by pinfall in a non-title match.  Christian hit the Frogsplash for the win.

Ryback defeated Ari Cohen and Mike Testa by pinfall in a squash match.  The two amateurs tried to say everyone thinks they're a joke, so they told a few jokes which had Ryback as the punchline.  Ryback tossed both guys around the ring, including hitting a running splash on both guys in the corner, followed by a clothesline on each.  He finished things by hitting his finisher on them both at the same time.

Damien Sandow defeated Tyson Kidd by pinfall in a quick match.  Late in the match, Kidd did a moonsault flip off the corner onto Sandow for a near fall.  Sandow kicked out and Kidd tried for a Sharpshooter, but Sandow kicked him hard into the corner.  From there, Sandow kneed Kidd in the gut repeatedly, then hit his neckbreaker finisher for the win.

John Cena arrived out for the final segment, talking about his match with Big Show this Sunday.  John Laurinaitis came out to inform Cena that Show has left the building.  Cena says he'll just have to knock out Laurinaitis instead then.  Cena prepares to knock him out, but Laurinaitis tells him if he loses at No Way Out this Sunday, he'll fire Cena on Monday.  JL says if he does he'll be fired, but Cena replies he can't be fired because his match with Big Show has to happen on Sunday.  Cena then knocks out Laurinaitis to end the show.

Raw Results 06/11/12

Raw Results from Hartford, CT:

Raw opened with GM John Laurinaitis arriving to the ring.  However, he couldn't get many words out, because Vince McMahon's music hit to bring out "the boss."  Cole said McMahon hadn't been there since October 2011.  McMahon brought up all the hard facts about Johnny's performance, including signing Lesnar who lost in his PPV match, then quit and has 2 lawsuits against WWE.  Laurinaitis blamed HHH for that.  McMahon also said that the people don't seem to like JL much, nor does the roster.

Sheamus came out to confirm that fact, saying Johnny's a real friend to him, fining him $500k for speaking his mind.  He then turned his attention to asking for who his opponent will be at No Way Out (since Del Rio's out with injury).  JL said he'll find him an opponent tonight.  McMahon told JL he better make a good set of matches tonight or else he'll hear those two words "You're Fired!"

Laurinaitis hobbled backstage on his one crutch, leaving his scooter at ringside.  McMahon rode it up the ramp, then got off it and shoved it off the ramp to the lower floor.

Sheamus defeated Lord Tensai by pinfall.  Sheamus won in about 10 minutes time after connecting on the Brogue Kick.

Backstage, McMahon told Laurinaitis things aren't going so well for him so far, so that's strike one.  He asked who Sheamus will face at No Way Out.  Vickie Guerrero was there and said Dolph Ziggler or Jack Swagger would be good replacements.  Vince said good idea, but asked for JL's input.  JL deferred to Teddy Long who suggested a Fatal Fourway elimination match with Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger, Great Khali, and Christian - all former Heavyweight champs.  Laurinaitis tried to take credit for it and went for the fist bump, with McMahon ignoring him.

Back in the ring, Lord Tensai was still there.  He kept beating up his assistant Sakamoto and eventually threw him over the top rope to the outside.  Cole said Tensai is upset following his last two losses, to Cena and Sheamus tonight.

They had a backstage interview with Matt Striker talking to R-Truth about being attacked by Big Show a few weeks ago.  Truth brought up how Little Jimmy was traumatized.  He said Big Show is going to lose to Cena at No Way Out.  All of a sudden a big right hand came into the shot and knocked Truth down.  The camera revealed Big Show, standing over Truth.

Beth Phoenix and Ricardo Rodriguez defeated Santino Marella and Layla in a mixed tag match.  The match lasted about 3 minutes, and saw Beth take out Layla's knee before hitting a Glam Slam on her.  Post-match, Santino was checking on Layla with Ricardo doing a victory dance.  Santino went at him and tore off his tuxedo to reveal a Justin Bieber shirt.

Backstage, David Otunga attempted to kiss up to Vince McMahon to take JL's job if he's fired.  Kofi Kingston came in and asked for a match against Big Show.  Laurinaitis came in and said he's got the match, and it will be a No Way Out preview in a steel cage.  McMahon told Laurinaitis he liked that idea.

Daniel Bryan came to the ring and started cutting a promo with a quick Q&A session saying "Yes" to "Will I win the WWE title at No Way Out?"  CM Punk came out and the two jawed at one another about who is the bigger sellout.  Kane came out to talk about his "pipe bombs" over the years - electrifying Shane McMahon's testicles, tombstoning a priest, and setting JR on fire.

AJ came out and told them all to stop fighting.  She said when she looked into Kane's eyes she realized he has a heart.  AJ said she's still not over Daniel Bryan, her first true love.  She got flirty with Punk saying he's the "coolest guy she knows" and also added she knows "the best man will win this weekend."

John Laurinaitis came on the big screen saying in the name of "People Power" tonight there will be a tag team match: CM Punk and AJ versus Daniel Bryan and Kane.

Dolph Ziggler won a Fatal Fourway #1 contenders match for the World Championship.  He'll face Sheamus at No Way Out.  First man eliminated was Great Khali, after Christian hit a Frogsplash on him.  All three men pinned Khali for the elimination.  Next one out was Swagger, who Ziggler stole a pin on after Christian hit his finisher on him.  Ziggler managed to score the Zig Zag to finish off a hobbled Christian.

Ryback squashed Williard Fillermore and Rutherford Hayes in his latest match, after getting "Goldberg" chants on his way to the ring.  He did his move with both guys on his shoulder before slamming them back and pinning both.  Ryback chanted "feed me more" up on the ramp as he headed backstage.

They had a backstage segment with the Funkateers asking Vince if he could lift John Laurinaitis' ban of Brodus Clay from Raw.  He said no, and then they started begging and pouting.  They said they heard Vince knows how to get funky.  He acted modest for a bit, then the lights and music hit for Brodus Clay.  Vince started dancing with the Funkateers for a bit.  Once it ended they rushed off backstage with Vince looking proud of himself.

They had a lengthy backstage segment which started with Vince McMahon asking Hornswoggle for tips on how to immitate Jim Ross.  Vince gave it a try for a bit with the cowboy hat on.  He shooed Horney away and Cena came in to chat.  Cena talked about how awful John Laurinaitis is, and suggested Vince needs to get rid of him.

Vince brought up how a guy who lost to The Rock at Mania is giving him management advice.  Cena brought up Vince's losses at Mania, including Shawn Michaels, Hulk Hogan, and his own son, Shane McMahon. Cena suggested that Vince should use his famous words tonight on John Laurinaitis.  Otunga came in after Cena had left and started to kiss up to Vince.  Vince told him nobody likes a man willing to get down and kiss someone's behind.  Vince said nobody respects a man who does that, then the camera showed William Regal looking smug on the couch.

Cole announced there will be a WWE No Way Out Pre-show match on Sunday.  The match will feature David Otunga versus Brodus Clay on YouTube and WWE Facebook online starting at 7:30PM EST.

Big Show defeated Kofi Kingston in a steel cage match.  Late in the match, Show kept yanking Kofi back in through the steel cage door to prevent his escape.  Finally, Show delivered a knockout punch on Kofi after blocking a kick.  He took a moment before walking out the cage door, and stepping onto the floor outside.  John Laurinaitis was shown watching backstage and smiling about the win.

Sin Cara defeated Curt Hawkins by pinfall.

A YouTube backstage access video package was shown to promote the WWE channel.

They posted a countdown on the screen of about 37 minutes until Vince McMahon's decision on John Laurinaitis' job as GM.

Daniel Bryan was stretching backstage, when Vince McMahon walked up to him to wish him good luck on his match tonight.  Bryan said he didn't think Vince McMahon would like him.  Vince talked about how you can't judge a book by its cover and if someone saw him walking down the street they wouln't know he was a WWE superstar.  Bryan told Vince they have something in common, both are self made successes.  Vince brought up Bryan's quick loss at Wrestlemania and said he's never finished anything in 18 seconds.  He left Bryan alone to think that over.

Cole said Laurinaitis has invited a former Raw main eventer to come back tonight in honor of the upcoming 1000th episode.  They showed a door with a star on it that said "1000."

Heath Slater was in the ring already with Justin Roberts said the following match will involve a former Raw main eventer invited to the show by John Laurinaitis.  Slater grabbed the mic saying they don't need a former main eventer, when they have a current superstar in the ring.  Slater kept rambling on when suddenly Vader's music hit to bring out the superstar.  Cole said he debuted at the 1996 Royal Rumble match.

Vader defeated Heath Slater by pinfall after hitting the Vader Bomb.  Vader basically dominated most of the match, although Slater kicked out of several pin attempts.  He finally dragged Slater over to the corner and hit the Vader Bomb.  Crowd chants included "Let's go Vader!" and "You Still Got It!"  Cole noted that "Vader Time" is the #1 trend in the world right now on Twitter.

Backstage, AJ was telling CM Punk how nervous she is about their match.  He told her nto to worry because he won't let anything happen to her.  Punk said to stay on the apron and "try not to act crazy."  AJ said "OK," looked at Punk, then gave him a kiss on the cheek.  Punk looked worried as AJ left.

AJ and CM Punk defeated Kane and Daniel Bryan by pinfall.  Late in the match, Punk had fallen to the outside.  AJ got in the ring with Kane who stood there trying to be menacing.  All of a sudden she started skipping around Kane who stood frozen in his tracks.  She stopped in front of him then jumped up on Kane, straddling her legs around his torso.  AJ looked into Kane's eyes a bit, then began kissing him for several moments.  The crowd chanted "Yes Yes!" as she kept going with it.  Punk finally got back on the apron to see what was going on.  Kane stood stunned as AJ dropped off him.  Kane walked over and slap tagged Bryan, then left the ring and walked up the ramp.  AJ backed away from Bryan and tagged Punk who punched Bryan several times, before hitting his Macho Man elbow drop on him for the win.

Post-match, AJ sat cross-legged in the ring with everyone looking bewildered at what just happened.  Punk was in the ring, Kane on the ramp, and Bryan on the outside near the commentators table.

Cole said Vince McMahon's decision about John Laurinaitis when Raw returns.  An ad for Smackdown aired during break saying that CM Punk and Sheamus will team up against Ziggler and Bryan on Friday's show for the huge main event.

For the final segment of the show, Mr. McMahon arrived out flanked by a number of security personnel who came into the ring with him.  He brought up how Connecticut has always had a special place in his heart.  Vince said his daughter Stephanie was born in Hartford.  He said it's only appropriate that since one life started there, another should end there tonight so to speak.  He called out Laurinaitis who hobbled out on crutches and saw his scooter down on the pavement below the ramp.

Laurinaitis got in the ring and told Vince he didn't appreciate him wrecking his scooter earlier.  Vince apologized for that, and then Laurinaitis said he wouldn't lay a hand on Vince, so he doesn't need security.  Vince said they're not for him, but for JL when he's escorted from the building.

Laurinaitis made his case to remain as the man in charge running "People Power," so he can continue to make WWE successful.  Vince said those two words are synonymous with JL, but Vince has two words that are synonymous with him as well.  Just as Vince was about to tell Laurinaitis he's fired, Big Show's music hit, to bring him to the ring.

Show talked about all the silly costumes he's had to wear over the years, all the gimmicks and SportsCenter appearances.  Show brought up how he's done everything Vince asked him to over the years.  He started yelling down at Vince.  Show said with his no ironclad contract, he's no longer part of Vince's "dog and pony show," he's now what he really is, a "giant."

Show told Vince to be concerned about the other John, his golden goose, his "cash cow."  Show said at No Way Out, the golden goose is going to get his feathers plucked.  As Show was about to continue talking, Cena's music hit to bring him out from backstage to a roar from the crowd.

Cena brought up how it's all Laurinaitis' fault with what's happening now.  Cena also called out Show for being a Giant for 14 years, asking "what's changed now?"  He said now, "it's all about you."  He said the odds are clearly stacked in his favor to beat him (Cena) at No Way Out.  Cena asked "what happens if you don't?"  He told Show he has no more excuses and no one left to blame if he doesn't deliver on his promise at No Way Out.

Cena asked again "What happens if you don't win Show?"  Vince McMahon stepped in and said "I'll tell you what will happen."  Vince said he'll be at ringside on Sunday and if Show fails to deliver, he'll tell his pal John Laurinaitis those famous words..Suddenly a brawl broke out with Show and Cena.  Security tried to intervene, but Show tossed them all out of the ring.  Cena started beating on Show in the corner.  Laurinaitis fell to the mat.  Vince tried to get involved near the corner.  Cena avoided a Big Show punch, which struck Vince and KO'd him instead.

Cena, Show, and Laurinaitis were all frozen, looking worried over Vince layed out on the mat.  Laurinaitis yelled for Show to leave the ring.  Cena yelled for people to come check on Vince.  Cena sold shock and worry as Raw went off the air.

Raw Preview 06/10/12

On tonight's episode of Raw, a major return is in store for the WWE Universe.  Vince McMahon, who was relieved from his duties months ago, will now make his return to Raw.  According to statements last week via the WWE website, Vince will be there to evaluate John Laurinaitis' job performance as the General Manager of Raw and Smackdown.  With that in mind, will Vince have good, or bad things to say regarding Big Johnny?  Will he get warned he's close to being told "you're fired!"?

Last week also saw John Cena embarass commentator Michael Cole in the main event.  This occurred after Cena defeated Lord Tensai in a match scheduled by Laurinaitis.  Cole was humiliated as Cena made him apologize to Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross for remarks he'd made before.  Meanwhile, the win came about two weeks ahead of Cena's big match against Big Show at No Way Out.  Will these two superstars cross paths on tonight's show with their match coming up?

And finally, the three men involved in the WWE Championship match for No Way Out, had an interesting confrontation last Monday.  Kane was about to defeat CM Punk, but interference from Daniel Bryan cost him the match.  In the aftermath, AJ got into the ring to check on CM Punk, and Kane looked as if he might go after her.  However, the girl who continues to display a questionable mentality, simply stood up and smiled in a flirty way at the Big Red Monster.  Kane was mesmerized for a moment, and instead of doing anything, just turned and left the ring.  Will AJ and Kane cross paths again?  What's next for WWE champ CM Punk and challenge Daniel Bryan?

Raw goes live tonight, starting at 9PM EST on USA!

Sheamus defeated Dolph Ziggler by pinfall in a non-title match.  Late in the match, Dolph hit a Fameasser for a near fall.  Sheamus responded with White Noise, and then set up for the Brogue Kick.  He connected on that to pin Ziggler.  Post-match, Sheamus got attacked up on the ramp by Alberto Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez.  Del Rio managed to put Sheamus in the Cross Arm Breaker for a bit and finally released the hold.

They had a backstage segment with David Otunga informing John Laurinaitis about a big news story from WWE.com.  He said that Vince McMahon will be back next week to give Laurinaitis a job evaluation.

Ryback defeated Arthur Rosenberg and Stan Stansky by pinfall in a 2-on-1 handicap match.  Prior to the match, the amateurs cut a promo on the mic about 2 being better than one.  Ryback came to the ring and tossed them both around like rag dolls.  He ultimately hoisted both guys up on his shoulders and hit a Samoan Drop to slam them both back to the mat.  Ryback put one guy on top of the other, then pinned both.

Kane defeated CM Punk by pinfall in a non-title match.  Daniel Bryan came out and stood on the announcers table before the match to do his "question and answer" segment, saying he'd leave No Way Out as the champ.  Bryan say next to Cole to watch the matchup.  Late in the match, Punk was thrown to the outside and against the crowd barrier by Kane.  Kane got back in the ring, but as Punk went to Daniel Bryan attacked him.  Once Punk was back in the ring, AJ rushed down and got on the apron to yell to the apron that Daniel Bryan was interfering.  Punk did a suicide dive out onto Bryan.  Back in the ring, AJ's distraction actually hurt Punk as Kane took control and chokeslammed Punk for a pinfall win.

Post-match, AJ got in the ring to check on Punk.  Kane was about to leave then turned and walked a bit towards AJ who looked afraid.  Daniel Bryan rushed into the ring and attacked Kane from behind, but then got thrown to the outside.  Kane started to go back towards AJ, but this time she got up and walked towards him a bit, then smiled a bit.  Kane was mesmerized for a moment and then left the ring.

Backstage, Josh Matthews caught up with AJ to ask what just happened with Kane with her smiling at him.  She grabbed Josh by the tie and started acting a bit crazy yet seductive, saying maybe he's her type.

John Cena arrived out for the big main event match against Michael Cole.  Cole started to plead from the commentary area with Lawler chuckling about it.  John Laurinaitis' music hit and he rode out on his scooter.  He said that for tonight he will give the people what they want and make it a No DQ match, but only if Cena defeats "this man first."  Out came Sakimoto to throw salt around, before Lord Tensai arrived out and shoved him aside, then began walking to the ring.

John Cena defeated Lord Tensai by pinfall.  Late in the match, Tensai had control and rammed Cena into the steps at ringside.  Michael Cole started talking trash as Cena was laying on the ground.  Cena got into the ring to avoid a countout.  He made a comeback with his move set, and finished off Tensai with the Attitude Adjustment for the win.

John Cena defeated Michael Cole by pinfall in a no disqualification match.  Cole tried to escape, but Cena caught him from the crowd area.  Cole got into the ring with a mic in hand and tried to say they can shake hands.  Cena laughed it off, so Cole angrily asked if he thought it was funny, then talked about how he embarassed Lawler at Wrestlemania.  He said he'd do the same to Cena, and it'd be worse than when John Laurinaitis beat him.

Cena ended up in control though and stripped off Cole's shirt and pants.  He slapped him on the chest hard, before grabbing a mic and putting Cole into a headlock.  He made Cole apologize to Lawler and also to Jim Ross, before making him promote JR's BBQ sauce.  Cole said it was "slobberkockin' good!"  Lawler had some bottles of the sauce ringside, so Cena went over and grabbed a few bottles, then poured them all over Cole.  He also brought a fire extinguisher into the ring and sprayed Cole with it.  Cena went for AA, but suddenly Lord Tensai appeared and attacked to save Cole.  Tensai hit a huge Powerbomb on Cena.  Cole tried to make a quick pin cover but Cena kicked out at the last second.

Cole grabbed the fire extinguisher to try to knock out Cena.  Cena grabbed Cole and connected with the AA though and scored a pinfall on him for the win.

Raw Preview 06/04/12

Tonight's episode of Raw could see a major confrontation as one superstar makes his return to the live show.  John Cena will be back after being KO'd a few weeks ago by his latest foe, the Big Show.  Last week saw Big Show go on a rampage, not only on Raw, but on Smackdown as well, destroying multiple superstars.  However, John Cena will be back on the show.  What will Cena have to say regarding Big Show's recent attacks?  Will there be a confrontation involving the two?

Also, the WWE championship will be up for grabs in a Triple  Threat match at the No Way Out PPV.  Current champ CM Punk will have not just one opponent to worry about, but also the Big Red Monster Kane.  In recent episodes of Raw and Smackdown, all three men have got in one another's way.  During a recent title bout on Smackdown, Daniel Bryan interfered in Kane's match with CM Punk.  What will go down next between these three?  Will AJ get involved again somehow?

And finally, Raw has continued to see John Laurinaitis wielding his "People Power."  Most recently, he tried to unveil a mock cover of WWE 13 video game with his image on the cover.  That brought CM Punk to the ring to thwart his attempts and reveal the real cover.  Laurinaitis has also continued to humiliate former Smackdown GM Teddy Long, and stack the odds against various competitors.  Will someone stand up to JL and his "People Power" on tonight's show, or will he continue to flex his corporate muscle?

John Laurinaitis rode out to the ring on his scooter, with Eve and David Otunga with him.  He unveiled the cover of the new WWE 13 video game which had his picture on the front.  He said the game will be bigger than "Pac-Man" and kids will love it.  CM Punk came out to interrupt and had the real cover shown, as a huge banner dropped down which showed him on the real game cover.  He told Laurinaitis the Board of Directors is watching his every move so don't give them more ammunition.  He told JL to get out of the ring since he has a match next against Daniel Bryan.  JL wished him good luck.  After he left the ring, Punk kicked the Laurinaitis poster of the game set up in the ring.

Daniel Bryan defeated CM Punk by pinfall in a non-title match.  AJ came to ringside for the match wearing a Punk t-shirt.  At one point in the match, Bryan pulled a turnbuckle cover off and the ref didn't see it.  AJ got on the apron to tell the ref but he yelled at her to get down.  Punk told her she couldn't be out there like that.  Punk ran at Bryan after, but Bryan picked him up and dropped Punk on the exposed turnbuckle before pinning him.

The Miz stayed in the ring after losing to Christian.  He began ranting about how his latest match wasn't even for the Intercontinental title and he wants it stricken from the record books.  He said he won the WrestleMania match for Team Johnny, and questioned where his contract, video game cover and championship matches were.

Randy Orton's music hit and he interrupted Miz.  Orton came to the ring with Miz talking trash at him.  Orton dropped him with the RKO without even saying a word.

They showed Dolph Ziggler backstage with Vickie, pointing to Orton on the monitor.  He said that needs to be him, and told Vickie to get him out of the tag team scene and out there by himself.

Sheamus defeated David Otunga by pinfall in a non-title match.  They reminded fans that Sheamus will defend his World Championship against Del Rio at No Way Out.  Late in the match, Otunga was up on the apron and Sheamus repeatedly bashed his fist on his chest.  He followed with White Noise, then backed up to the corner and began pounding his chest.  As Otunga got up and turned around, Sheamus connected on the Brogue Kick to take him down for the pinfall.

They showed Brodus Clay walking backstage with his Funkettes dancing by his side.  Cole said Brodus won't be walking after his match tonight, according to Big Show.

The Big Show and Brodus Clay match never officially started.  Brodus Clay made his entrance with the Fukadactyls.  They danced in the ring before Clay's pyro went off.  Show's music hit and he arrived out on stage with a mic in his hand.  He said he actually admired Clay, and brought up how Show felt like a sellout back at the Wrestlemania he wore a diaper for a sumo match.  He said Clay's selling out on a nightly basis.  He said maybe Clay can put on some makeup and be the next "Doink the Clown."  Show said only thing is Doink actually had talent.

Clay was upset by the trash talk and got down out of the ring to the bottom of the ramp.  Show kept talking and then finally rushed down to spear tackle Clay down into the ringside area.  He kept beating up on him around the ringside area, with Clay trying to come back with some punches.  Show slammed him into the ringpost several times.

Kofi Kingston rushed to the ring and tried to jump off the steel steps at Show. Show caught him mid-air and then saw R-Truth running over, so he threw Kofi onto Truth.  The tag team champs were layed out near the barrier, as Show walked over to the commentary table and scared Cole/Lawler away.  He stepped through the table to break it, then took one of the side pieces of the table to smash on Brodus Clay.

Show kept tossing everyone around, including throwing Truth against the ropes from the outside of the ring, and tossing Kingston through the timekeepers area.  He finally wound up his WMD KO punch and clocked Clay in the face, then glared at the audience.

Cole and Lawler recapped what Show just did, showing replays of all of the big spots.  Show walked around the ring and stopped at a fan in the front row holding a Sellout sign.  Show's theme song played as he started to walk up the ramp.

John Laurinaitis came out on the stage with his crutch to greet Show.  Laurinaitis raised up Show's hand smiling.  Cole said things will be different next week when John Cena is back on Raw.  Clay was shown layed out ringside before another shot of Show and Laurinaitis was seen as Raw went off air.

Raw Results 05/21/12

Raw Results from Richmond, VA:

The show opened with highlight shots from last night's Over the Limit main event, with Big Show interfering to help John Laurinaitis defeat Cena.  Cena came to the ring to discuss how shocked he was at what happened last night with Big Show, and saying he had Laurinaitis beat.  Eve came out, introduced Laurinaitis, who talked about all his injuries from the PPV.  Then he introduced Cena's opponent for No Way Out - The Big Show.  Show came out talking about how he loves the business more than anyone else and did what he had to do.  He vowed to knock Cena out at No Way Out on June 17th.

John Cena defeated David Otunga via submission.  Cena was able to win in about two minutes after chasing Otunga down and using Attitude Adjustment followed by STF to make Otunga tap.  John Laurinaitis and Eve were shown watching from up on the ramp.

Post-match, Curt Hawkins, Tyler Reks, Darren Young and Titus O'Neil all rushed the ring to attack Cena.  Sheamus rushed to the ring to intervene and make a save.  Laurinaitis got on the mic saying he didn't give these guys permission to interfere, then sent them back to the showers.  From there, JL booked Cena and Sheamus to fight in a 2-on-3 handicap lumberjack match later tonight.

Ricardo Rodriguez came out to introduce Alberto Del Rio.  However, Santino Marella came out to say Ricardo knows nothing about the "art of introductioners."  Santino and Ricardo did a battle of rolling R's, before Santino eventually brought out The Cobra and poked him in the neck.  Santino introduced Del Rio, who made his way to the ring as they showed a WWE video package about Raw coming up on its 1,000th episode.  Once Del Rio got to the ring, he chased Santino off.

Randy Orton defeated Alberto Del Rio due to disqualification.  Late in the match, Orton had Del Rio down and started pounding the mat for the RKO.  However, Chris Jericho rushed into the ring and attacked Orton, hitting the Codebreaker.  He said on the mic multiple times how he's best in the world at what he does.  Jericho hit two more Codebreakers before leaving the ring with Orton down.

Daniel Bryan came to the ring and demanded a rematch with WWE Champion CM Punk after making him tap out last night.  Punk came out and reminded Bryan what he did to him on Smackdown, when Bryan smashed a steel chair on Kane, and then took off, leaving Kane to think Punk did it.  Punk then introduced to Bryan his opponent for tonight - Kane.

Daniel Bryan defeated Kane due to disqualification.  At one point, Kane was on the outside of the ring and Bryan dove out onto him crashing to the floor.  Punk was on commentary and told Lawler/Cole to hang on, as he left, grabbed a chair and went towards Bryan.  Punk teased that he was going to hit Kane, but then Bryan yanked the chair away.  Punk backed off, and as Bryan turned, Kane saw him with the chair and attacked.  From there, Kane repeatedly hit Bryan with the chair, then chokeslammed him twice in the ring.  Post-match, Punk got in the ring pretending to check on Bryan, then locked him into the Anaconda Vise to make Bryan tap on his arm.

Backstage, CM Punk was walking when AJ came up to him.  She told him she enjoyed seeing him beat up Daniel Bryan.  Punk brought up how maybe she's not crazy, but sadistic.  AJ started to break down in tears, and finally Punk hugged her to comfort her.  After several moments of that, Punk told her "I kinda dig crazy chicks" and walked off.  AJ started to act crazy, crying a bit again.

Cole and Lawler talked over the incident between Triple H and Paul Heyman last week where Heyman told HHH he'll see him in court for an assault and battery lawsuit.  They said WWE.com has an exclusive report on the legal situation with Heyman, Lesnar and HHH.

Justin Roberts introduced the man who won the "People Power" Battle Royal and Intercontinental title last night.  Cole and Lawler reviewed last night's win via still image pics.  Jinder Mahal was shown putting his hat into a plastic or glass case at ringside area.

Christian defeated Jinder Mahal by pinfall.  He hit the Killswitch late in the match, but added a huge frog splash off the corner to get the pinfall win.

Cole talked about some of the Twitter tweets from the WWE Universe about Big Show's actions last night.  They reviewed a clip of Big Show promising to knock out Cena at No Way Out.

Beth Phoenix defeated Kelly Kelly by pinfall.  Layla was shown watching backstage on a flatscreen monitor, shaking her head.  Kelly had control late after hitting her tilt-a-whirl leg scissors spin to throw Beth into the corner.  She went for her flip splash move towards Beth in the corner, but The Glamazon smashed her down from behind on her way there.  Beth followed up with The Glam Slam to win it.  Layla was shown backstage just shaking her head.

They showed John Laurinaitis riding on his scooter backstage with a big "People Power" logo cutout on front.

Sheamus was introduced, followed by John Cena for the 3-on-2 Handicap Tag Team Lumberjack match.  Vickie Guerrero arrived out to the ramp and did her "Excuse Me" bit and then introduced Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler as two of their opponents.  Justin Roberts then announced their tag team partner, and Lord Tensai arrived out after Sakimoto came to the stage and did his pre-match salt tossing on stage.

The lumberjacks included Reks, Hawkins, Otunga, Alberto Del Rio, Chris Jericho, Primo, Epico, Hunico, Camacho, Drew McIntyre, Jinder Mahal, Darren Young and Titus O'Neil.  Lawler noted none of them appeared to be friends of Cena or Sheamus, with Cole joking maybe they don't have any.  John Laurinaitis was shown up on stage with a crutch watching the match.

John Cena and Sheamus fought Jack Swagger, Dolph Ziggler and Lord Tensai to a no contest/DQ.  At one point during the match, Sheamus was knocked to the outside by Tensai.  Some of the lumberjacks attacked but Sheamus fought them off, then jumped off the steel steps to take out more lumberjacks on the other side of the ring.  The heels worked to keep Sheamus worn down and away from tagging out.  At another point in the match, Sheamus began fighting back, punching on Tensai.  Tensai had blood on his forehead, but still kept Sheamus in the heels corner.

Finally, Sheamus broke away and made the hot tag.  Cena came in on fire and took down Ziggler.  He set up for the Five Knuckle but then saw Sheamus getting beat up on the outside by lumberjacks.  Cena dove to the outside to try to help out.  Cena and Sheamus appeared to be getting beat up, but then faces rushed to the ring including CM Punk, Great Khali, Christian, Brodus Clay and Santino.

Cena stormed off up the ramp from the ring and went backstage.  The camera went backstage with Cena approaching Laurinaitis who was limping away on crutches.  JL said he had no idea where Big Show was and reminded Cena if he touches him he gets fired.  Laurinaitis hobbled away on his crutch with Cena looking angry.  He stood there looking to the side for several moments with the camera close up.  Then, just as Cena turned, a big fist came into the picture and knocked Cena out.  Big Show was shown and walked over Cena's body, with Laurinaitis looking back from a distance as Show kept following to close out Raw.

Raw Preview 05/21/12

Now that the Over the Limit results for 2012 are official, some fans are truly shocked at the way things ended Sunday night in Raleigh, North Carolina.  John Cena looked to be in complete control of his match against Raw and Smackdown General Manager John Laurinaitis.  Towards the end, Laurinaitis tried to flee from the arena, only to be brought back to the ring by the Big Show.  Cena prepared for the big Attitude Adjustment for the win, but Big Show, in an act of treachery, KO'd Cena with his WMD punch.  That allowed Laurinaitis capture a pinfall win, keeping him in his current position of power.  With that, People Power will live on.  What will Laurinaitis have in store now for John Cena and Raw?

Also during the Over the Limit PPV, the current WWE Champion CM Punk put his title up for grabs against his Ring of Honor colleague Daniel Bryan.  These two put on a stellar matchup with Bryan nearly capturing his second major championship.  However, it was CM Punk who managed to get the pinfall, just before tapping out to Bryan's submission hold.  With that in mind, it would appear that this feud is just getting started.  Will Bryan try to get a second match against Punk for the title?

Finally, last week's Raw saw Paul Heyman get into it with WWE COO Triple H regarding Brock Lesnar's owed payments.  Triple H informed Heyman that Brock will get what he has coming to him.  However, Heyman seems to be threatening further legal action against WWE and Triple H as well.  Will Heyman show up again on Raw to make demands for Brock Lesnar?  Will Triple H have more response for Heyman and Lesnar?

Check out Monday night Raw starting tonight at 9PM EST on USA?

Zack Ryder vs. Kane

This match was a special free "pre-show" match presented live on YouTube prior to the main Pay-Per-View.  Ryder arrived out first to the ring, but his introduction was cut short by Kane's pyro and the arena going dark.  Early on, Ryder managed to gain the advantage by dropkicking Kane on the outside, then hitting a drop toe hold on him into the steel steps.  Ryder shouted at the ref to countout Kane, and even did a dive over the top rope to keep him out.  Kane finally returned to the ring with Ryder beating away on him.  Kane finally responded with a huge boot kick to take Zack down.

Kane held control for a while, until Ryder made a comeback, and responded from the corner for a near fall move.  He went for a move on Kane in the corner and got dumped to the apron, but then yanked Kane against the top rope to keep control.  Kane was able to grab Ryder by the throat in the corner, but Ryder fought him off.  Kane soon regained control with a sidewalk slam.

The close saw Ryder hit the Broski Boot in the corner and then set up for Rough Ryder.  He charged at Kane but the Big Red Monster was ready and caught him around the throat then hit the chokeslam for the pinfall.

Winner: Kane wins by pinfall over Zack Ryder.

Eve was backstage watching a flatscreen monitor when Cody Rhodes and Santino Marella came into the room arguing over the championships. Santino said he'd rather be the US champion instead of the champion of incontinence. Eve said she and David Otunga came up to a way to settle their disputes. Eve said there will be a "People Power" battle royal coming up next. Eve said whoever wins the battle royal gets to choose which title they go for later on, the US or Intercontinental title. Eve said that match is up next.

Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler, and Booker T came out as the commentary team for the Pay-Per-View. Cole told Striker this job is above his pay grade so to get lost. Matthews also left and then Cody Rhodes and Santino were introduced.

People Power Battle Royal

The winner of this match would get to choose which title they fight for later in the night, either the United States or Intercontinental Championship.  Competing in this match were The Great Khali, The Miz, JTG, Ezekiel Jackson, Tyler Reks, Curt Hawkins, Michael McGillicutty, Yoshi Tatsu, The Usos, Tyson Kidd, Jinder Mahal, Drew McIntyre, Heath Slater, Darren Young, Titus O'Neil, Alex Riley, David Otunga, William Regal, and Christian.  Christian was making a surprise return to the ring.  The match started with a minute to go until the official PPV.

Early eliminations included Heath Slater, Michael McGillicutty, Yoshi Tatsu, Curt Hawkins, and Tyler Reks.  Khali started eliminating multiple guys by himself, including Jinder Mahal.  Three guys worked together to get rid of Khali.

The final four came down to Tyson Kidd, The Miz, David Otunga, and Christian.  Kidd was almost tossed out of the ring, then held onto the ropes.  Miz rushed over to try to push Kidd out, but Kidd did a leg scissors around Miz's head.  However, Otunga rushed over and kicked Kidd off to eliminated him.  Miz and Otunga teamed up against Christian.

It came down to Miz vs. Christian, with Miz throwing Christian over the top.  However, Christian held on for dear life.  Miz tried to kick him out but couldn't succeed.  The two fought it out, with Christian throwing Miz against the corner and over the top rope.  Miz held onto the ropes on the apron, but Christian was able to ram him in the gut through the ropes to knock him off the apron.  Christian now gets a title shot later tonight.  Cole said it seems like he's made his choice to face Santino tonight.

Winner:  Christian wins the People Power Battle Royal and will compete for the US or Intercontinental title later on tonight.

Jack Swagger & Dolph Ziggler vs. R-Truth & Kofi Kingston
WWE Tag Team Championship Match

Late in the match, Truth was on fire and hit the spinning corkscrew on Swagger.  He hit a frontfaced suplex on Swagger, but Vickie got on the apron to distract.  Truth rushed over and knocked Dolph off the apron, but then Swagger threw Truth into the corner so the heels took control.  At one point, Ziggler tagged in and helped hit a massive doubleteam move to smash Truth face first to the mat.  However, Truth kicked out of a pin.  Dolph kept him down in a hold, which involved a show off handstand on him at one point.

Truth ultimately escaped from Swagger, just as Ziggler tagged in.  Kofi made a hot tag and jumped over the ropes to take down Ziggler.  He revved up for Trouble in Paradise but Ziggler avoided it.  Kofi went for the SOS but Ziggler blocked, and then Kofi hit a reverse crossbody off the corner.

In the close, Truth rushed into the ring to break up a pin after Ziggler hit Zig Zag.  Moments later, Truth dove over the top rope to take out Swagger on the outside.  Ziggler tried to rush Kofi with a Zig Zag, but Kofi responded by hitting Trouble in Paradise to knock him down for the pin.

Winners: R-Truth & Kofi Kingston win by pinfall over Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler to retain the WWE Tag Team Championships.

Backstage, Hawkins and Reks were talking to Eve. Eve said they will go into the audience and confiscate any signs they deem as inappropriate. Hawkins and Reks left to go do the job.

Beth Phoenix vs. Layla
WWE Divas Championship Match

Layla got control of things early on, but Beth turned the tables when Layla was up on the corner. Beth pulled Layla's leg out causing her to fall and hurt her right leg. Beth continued to target it even more.

Later in the match, Beth was on the apron trying to pull Layla's hurt leg against the ropes. Layla managed to break free and dropkicked Beth off the apron, then started beating on her when she got into the ring. Beth ducked a kick attempt from Layla and then pressed her overhead. Layla countered it into a DDT move for a near fall.

Layla went for a move off the corner, but Beth turned it into a near Glam Slam. Layla countered that into a pinfall, with Beth rolling through to pull Layla's tights for a pin. However, Layla kicked out. Just moments later, Layla hit a surprise neckbreaker to win it.

Winner: Layla wins by pinfall over Beth Phoenix to retain the Divas Championship.

Striker interviewed Randy Orton about what happened on Smackdown this past Friday after his match with Sheamus. Striker had them cut to video of Orton losing to Sheamus in a non-title match, then offering him a handshake. Orton shook hands then surprised him with the RKO.  Orton talked about how there's no question that Sheamus wouldn't do the same thing if he was in his shoes.  Jericho showed up to interrupt Orton's interview saying he's going to win the title once again.  Orton told him if he gets in his way tonight, he'll be the best in the world at getting RKO'd.  Jericho smirked as Orton left the scene.

Fatal Fourway Match for World Heavyweight Championship

Current champion Sheamus will defend his title against Alberto Del Rio, Chris Jericho, and Randy Orton.  Early on, Orton and Sheamus faced off in a repeat from Smackdown.  The match also featured multiple spots with Jericho and Del Rio teaming up on Sheamus outside the ring, then turning against each other.  At one point, Sheamus and Del Rio faced off in the ring.  Sheamus was in control with Ricardo Rodriguez trying to distract from the apron.  As Sheamus went to clear him off, Del Rio hit his enziguiri kick for a near fall on the champ.  Moments later, Sheamus avoided Del Rio near the ropes.  Del Rio almost fell out but hung on.  Sheamus beat away on his chest, but Jericho leapt off the corner to kick him off down.

Later still, Orton came in to take down Jericho and then Sheamus.  He hit his through the ropes DDT and then dropped down to pound the mat preparing for the RKO.  Del Rio rushed in and slapped on the Cross Armbar breaker.  Orton couldn't break the hold, but Jericho soon rushed over to stop Del Rio.  Jericho took control against Del Rio, but then Del Rio got his knees up on Jericho's Lionsault.

Orton went for the RKO, but Sheamus avoided then went for a Brogue Kick which the champ avoided.  Sheamus tried for a schoolboy pin line on Smackdown, but Orton escaped.  Moments later, Orton cleared Sheamus out of the ring, then hit a double DDT with Del Rio and Rodriguez from the middle rope.  Orton was bleeding on the bridge of his nose.

Del Rio got the cross armbar on Jericho after Jericho hit a Codebreaker on Orton.  Jericho countered Del Rio's move and put the Walls of Jericho on Del Rio.  However, Sheamus rushed in and nearly took his head off with a Brogue Kick, which Jericho avoided.

The crowd got fired up in the late moments with multiple teased finishes. Alberto hit the mat after an RKO by Orton on him.  Sheamus hit the Brogue Kick on Orton, but then with only Jericho remaining, Sheamus got him up for White Noise and finished him off by pinfall.

Winner: Sheamus wins by pinfall over Chris Jericho in the Fatal Fourway match to retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Backstage, Cody Rhodes was asking about John Laurinaitis and said Eve is handling things well. He then began to talk about how Christian would be scared if he had to face him in the ring tonight. Just then, Christian showed up and told Rhodes he's full of crap. He said he changed his mind and will be facing Cody for the Intercontinental Championship tonight.

The Miz arrived out to the ring to talk trash on Brodus Clay and saying he lacks true dance skills. Miz put on a hat and started his own dance routine to his theme song. Brodus' theme song hit to interrupt, bringing out the Funkettes and Clay to the ring.

Brodus Clay vs. The Miz

Late in the match, Miz was on the corner.  However, Clay managed to crotch him by hitting the ropes, then tossed him onto the mat.  Moments later, Clay finished things with his big splash on Miz.  He invited some kids in the ring to dance with him and the Funkettes.

Winner: Brodus Clay wins by pinfall against The Miz.

Hawkins and Reks were shown in the crowd snatching signs away from fans that were degrading towards John Laurinaitis.  They tore several apart.  Hawkins tried to motion for one fan to bring his sign over as the camera cut away.

Cody Rhodes was introduced for the Intercontinental Championship match and arrived out with a mic in hand. He explained that his dad kept him away from NC as a kid because the people there are shortsighted and biased. That drew heat and then Rhodes said he'll defeat Christian to remain champ now.

Christian vs. Cody Rhodes
Intercontinental Championship

Late in the match, Cody and Christian fought on the corner with a superplex the end result.  Rhodes was shaken up too, but managed to get up after the move and went over towards Christian.  Captain Charisma grabbed him to roll him up for a near fall.

Cody had control and went for a flying move from the corner, but Christian punched him in the gut.  Moments later Christian hit a missile drop kick after a pendulum kick in the corner.  He started clapping to rally the Peeps.  However, Cody avoided his Killswitch.  Christian responded by tripping Rhodes against the rope and then jumping over to the outside to slap Rhodes in the face.

The close saw Christian manage to surprise Rhodes with the Killswitch after Rhodes talked trash to the crowd.  Christian grabbed Rhodes' leg and captured the pinfall to collect the Intercontinental Championship.  This is his fourth IC title reign.

Winner: Christian wins via pinfall over Cody Rhodes to become the new WWE Intercontinental Champion.

The next WWE PPV is four weeks away on June 17th at the Izod Center.

Josh Matthews interviewed WWE Champion CM Punk backstage.  They showed a replay from Friday's Smackdown where Daniel Bryan went after Punk with a steel chair, but hit Kane instead.  Bryan tossed the chair down and ran off as Punk grabbed the chair.  Kane attacked Punk from there with Bryan smiling from the ramp.  Punk said he's feeling like crap right now, then mocked Laurinaitis.  Punk said seeing JL get terminated later will make his night.  Punk said tonight won't just be the five star classic everyone's expecting, it's going to be..AJ interrupted the interview and said "it's going to be a lot of fun to watch, good luck Punk."  AJ smiled in a flirty way, batting her eyes at Punk as he smirked looking sort of puzzled and left.

Daniel Bryan vs. CM Punk
WWE Championship Match

Early on, dueling chants of "Daniel Bryan" and "CM Punk" broke out in the arena.  Punk had control with a headlock down on the mat.  Punk yelled "Yes" at Bryan as he kept kneeing him in the leg.  An early spot saw Bryan rush to the corner, then flip over Punk.  Punk put him up for the GTS, but Bryan escaped only to get kicked in his already hurting leg.  Punk stayed in control and managed to trip Bryan down for a submission move which he then turned into a kick move, kicking Bryan face first into the mat for a near fall.

Bryan managed to regain control outside the ring as he ducked a move by Punk and then rammed him against the crowd barrier.  He followed by suplexing Punk onto another barrier into the timekeeper's area.  Back in the ring, Bryan locked a hold on Punk, with the champ kneeing out.  Bryan dropped a knee on Punk's throat to stay in control.  Moments later, he put Punk into a surfboard submission, then turned it into another move similar to a guillotine.  Punk refused to tap out though.

With Punk already down on the mat near the corner, Bryan rushed from across the ring several times to drop a big knee on his back.  Punk moved away on the third try and then hit a suplex into a pinfall attempt with Bryan kicking out.  Bryan hit a huge diving headbutt later on from way across the ring off the corner.  Somehow, Punk kicked out of the pin attempt though.

Punk made a comeback with a barrage of punches and kicks, followed by a huge scoop slam for a near fall.  Both guys reset after Bryan kicked out.  There was another spot on the outside where both guys crashed to the floor.  Back in the ring, Bryan had control and kept yelling "Yes" as he kicked Punk.  However, Punk managed to put him into a figure four moments later.  Bryan managed to grab the bottom rope.  Several near falls ensued.

Bryan went for the Yes Lock but Punk avoided that.  However, Bryan kicked him in the head to KO him.  He took a moment to gather Punk up for the pinfall, but Punk barely kicked out.  The fans started up a "This is Awesome" chant for the match.  There was another great spot moments later with Bryan crotched on the side top rope, and Punk landing a huge clothesline from the corner to take him down for another near fall.

Punk fought over the Yes Lock, then catapulted Bryan over the top rope.  Bryan hung on for dear life and skinned the cat to pull himself back in.  Punk collected a pinfall but Bryan got a leg on the ropes to break it.

Punk avoided Bryan's double knees in the corner, then came back with his own running knee on him.  Bryan somehow managed to get Punk down into the Yes Lock from there.  Punk managed to shift his weight back though and pinned Bryan's shoulders to the mat.  Cole said it appeared Punk was tapping out at the same time though.  They showed the replay, and it confirmed Punk tapped a second after the pinfall count was done.  Punk is still champion.

Winner: CM Punk wins by pinfall over Daniel Bryan to retain the WWE Championship.

Backstage, Eve and David Otunga were walking when they came up to Teddy Long. Long joked about how they could both be fired by the end of the night. He said he had to go make sure Mr. Laurinaitis has enough protein for tonight's match.

Hunico arrived out on a bike driven by Camacho. Hunico cut a promo in Spanish about something.

Ryback vs. Camacho

Ryback dominated this matchup throughout, like his previous contests.  He finished Camacho in the end with a slam from the torture rack position.  Post-match, Ryback left the ring and knocked over Hunicos bicycle on the outside of the ring.  He yelled at a fan "do you want more?!?"

Winner: Ryback defeated Camacho via pinfall.

John Cena vs. John Laurinaitis

If any WWE superstar or diva gets involved in this match, they will be fired. If John Laurinaitis loses, he is fired.  The only way to win is by pinfall or submission.  Laurinaitis arrived out first in a special People Power warmup suit with "GM" written on front.

Laurinaitis tried to hightail it and leave the ring as the bell ring.  He went to jump into the crowd, but Cena ran him down and grabbed him.  Cena brought JL back in the ring and clotheslined him hard after shaking his head.  Cena put JL's top over his head and then slapped his chest hard.

Cena set up for the AA but instead did an airplane spin, then dropped JL to the mat in a heap.  Laurinaitis stood up and fell out through the ropes.  Cena went over and grabbed the bell, then walked over and clanked it in his ears on both sides of his head.  Cena slammed JL's head into the commentators table multiple times with Cole asking "are you OK?"

Cena brought Laurinaitis over to the Spanish commentators table and put JL in one seat with a headset on.  Cena sat next to  him and put a headset on, then pretended he was Michael Cole.  He said "Vintage Laurinaitis" several times,, then asked Booker what he thought.  JL responded "five time, five time" then fell out of the chair.  Back in the ring, Cena hit a huge slam on JL.  He rushed out of the ring and grabbed a mic.

Cena announced on the mic he was about to put JL in the STF.  He said if JL taps out he's fired.  Cena said he'll let go of the hold if JL can last for 10 seconds.  Cena asked the people to count along, and JL survived 10 seconds.  Cena got on the mic saying good news is JL made it, and bad news is he's going to do it again.  Crowd counted along this time and once again JL survived it.

Cena went out of the ring again and grabbed a bottled water to pour it on JL's face and then on his crotch area.  Cena left the ring and grabbed a fire extinguisher from under the ring.  He teased using it several times, then started to spray Laurinaitis in the corner til he left the ring covered in the stuff.

On the outside, Cena grabbed a trash can and dumped it all over Laurinaitis.  JL tried to run into the crowd but Cena chased him down again. This time, JL hit Cena's hurt arm and Cena flinched looking hurt.  From there, JL smashed Cena's arm against the commentary table then against the steel steps.

In the ring, JL used a chair for multiple shots on Cena.  He collected a pinfall but cena kicked out at two.  JL went for another chair shot, but Cena blocked it and grabbed the chair to smash JL in the leg.  He set up for Five Knuckle Shuffle and used a steel chair for it.  Cena was about to go for AA, but JL hit a low blow.  From there, JL started to leave through the crowd with Cena still down in the ring.  Fans booed him as he walked past.  Cena remained in the ring as Laurinaitis started to head out of the arena, according to Cole.

Cena looked confused in the ring about what's going on.  Suddenly, the crowd started to cheer as Big Show showed up in street clothes forcefully escorting Laurinaitis.  He brought him out and tossed him over the crowd barrier, then brought JL into the ring with Cena smirking.  Cena waited for Laurinaitis to get up, seeing Big Show on the other side of him.  JL tried to crawl away, but Big Show stepped on his hand.

Cena went after JL who ran the other way, only to have Big Show grab him by the throat.  He looked menancingly at JL who shoved him to Cena.  Cena picked up JL for the AA, but Big Show hit the WMD punch on Cena.  Show backed into the corner looking at both guys.  Cole said Cena looks unconscious.  Laurinaitis crawled over and did his best to push Cena over for a pinfall.  He covered and the ref counted 1-2-3 to give him the match.  Show watched from the corner with a strange look in his eyes.  Fans looked shocked from the ringside area.

Show walked over looking down at Laurinaitis, then offered him a hand to get up.  Show held up Laurinaitis' hand up, then left the ring.  JL stumbled up the ramp as the PPV closed with Cole saying he can't wait until Raw tomorrow.

Winner: John Laurinaitis wins via pinfall over John Cena.

Smackdown Results 05/18/12

WWE Smackdown Results from Hershey, PA:

John Laurinaitis arrived out to start the show, saying he disagreed with the Board's decision about his match stipulations against John Cena.  He asked for fan support and drew boos, so he said he wanted them to say a prayer tonight.  CM Punk came out to confront Laurinaitis talking about how the fans did pray and their prayers will be answered Sunday when John Cena beats him and gets him fired.  He brought up all the bad stuff JL's done, and said he's now on the other side of the stick.  Laurinaitis told Punk he's still GM so tonight he's booking him to face Kane.  Punk said he still respects Kane.  He added that next week he'll still be champ and JL will be in the unemployment line.

Punk left the ring and JL complained about the fans being responsible for how Cena and Punk act.  He told the fans they could all go to hell.  Laurinaitis dropped the mic and left the ring, with the announce team talking over what just happened.

R-Truth and Kofi Kingston defeated Darren Young and Titus O'Neil by pinfall.  The match lasted about three minutes, with the heels trying to isolate Kofi.  Kofi escaped from O'Neil with a kick move, and R-Truth hit the Pay Dirt on Darren Young for the win.

Damien Sandow made an entrance for a match against Yoshi Tatsu.  However, Sandow got on the mic to cut a promo about how he's there to set the WWE Universe free from "our chains of ignorance."  He also said Yoshi is an unworthy opponent for him so he won't be wrestling tonight.  Sandow left, and Yoshi got on the mic to call him a chicken making chicken noises.  As Yoshi went to give the mic back to someone near ringside, Sandow took off his robe and rushed back to the ring to attack him.

Matt Striker interviewed Sheamus and Randy Orton backstage about their upcoming Fatal Fourway match.  They each cut a promo saying how they used to have the flaws the other currently has.  Sheamus said he could kick one of his opponents right now, but won't because he's a nice guy.  Orton got into Sheamus' face and told him he's a nice guy and they know where they finish.

Daniel Bryan defeated Zack Ryder by submission.  Late in the match, Ryder went for the Broski Boot, but Bryan got a drop toe hold and a kick on him.  He followed with the Yes Lock to secure the win making Ryder tap out.

Kane defeated CM Punk due to disqualification.  Daniel Bryan was ringside for the match with the commentary team.  Late in the match, Punk was grabbed around the throat by Kane.  However, Punk did a roundhouse kick and knocked Kane out of the ring.  Punk dove out to crash down on Kane in front of Bryan and the announce team.  Bryan grabbed a chair and prepared to hit Punk but hit Kane instead.  Bryan rushed off and Punk grabbed the chair.  Kane saw Punk holding the chair and attacked him. Kane smashed the chair on Punk multiple times and then brought him into the ring for a couple chokeslams.

Santino Marella defeated Cody Rhodes by pinfall.  The match lasted just about two minutes and saw Santino do his split move to duck Cody's late clothesline attempt.  Santino wore The Cobra sock and hit his finisher for the win.

Sheamus defeated Randy Orton by pinfall.  Late in the match, Orton hit his DDT from the middle rope with Sheamus.  He went for the RKO, but Sheamus and Orton kept reversing each others' moves.  Finally, Sheamus managed to score a surprise roll-up to win it.

Post-match saw Orton smirking about the loss.  Sheamus and Orton talked things over a bit in the ring, before Orton offered a handshake.  Sheamus shook and Orton hit him with the RKO to end the show.

Possible Over The Limit Spoilers on Raw

With last night's episode of Raw, two particular events happened which could factor into Sunday's Over The Limit results.  These involve some potential spoilers and rumors floating around, so please stop reading if this might ruin the Pay-Per-View.

First up, we saw Big Show get fired during the episode.  This came after several different instances where Show was in the ring with John Laurinaitis and Eve, between Raw and Smackdown.  It was all over the fact Big Show mocked Laurinaitis.  Despite all the apologies Show made, Johnny still wished him "best of luck" in his future endeavors.  So with that Big Show is gone, right?

Not so fast.  Something else happened at the end of Raw, with the announcement of the stipulations for John Cena vs. John Laurinaitis.  Eve brought out a piece of paper from the Board of Directors which said there can be no special guest referee, and no involvement from any other superstars in the match.  If any superstars on the WWE roster get involved, they will be terminated, immediately.

With Big Show already fired, it's looking like a possibility that he could show up at Over The Limit, make the heel turn, and allow John Laurinaitis to win this match against Cena.  If not Big Show, maybe Brock Lesnar, but that seems far fetched at this point.

The other possibility seems to be in the Daniel Bryan vs. CM Punk WWE Championship match.  On Raw, Bryan's former girlfriend, AJ came up to talk to Punk.  However, Punk noted she seems rather unstable lately, and that seemed to bother AJ, as expected.  So could this mean some interference by AJ in Sunday's WWE championship match?  She may just attempt to help Bryan in a last-ditched effort to win him back!

Those are just two interesting developments which came about on Monday's episode of Raw.  There's been murmurs about the Big Show firing and spoilers of him getting involved in Over The Limit.  Some hate the idea, while others say it just makes sense now.  What do you think of these potential spoilers and results?  Will John Laurinaitis and Daniel Bryan be victorious on Sunday?
