Smackdown Results 04/20/12


Smackdown results from London, UK:

Smackdown started with Daniel Bryan in the ring delivering a promo about how he will regain the title at Extreme Rules after defeating Sheamus in a 2 of 3 Falls Match.  AJ came to the ring and tried to make up with Bryan, but he cut into her, saying he'd wished he never went out with her and she was never born.  Bryan left AJ standing in the ring upset, before her match.

Natalya and AJ fought to a no contest (or countout).  AJ was still distrought after Daniel Bryan insulted her before the match.  Natalya tried to comfort her, but AJ started to punch away on her in the corner, then ran off.

Brodus Clay defeated Hunico by pinfall.

Backstage, Titus O'Neil and Darren Young mocked Teddy Long.  John Laurinaitis came in and made Long wear a Buckingham Palace guard's hat, telling him he couldn't speak just like their guards.

They had an interview with Randy Orton backstage about Kane attacking his dad last week.  Orton said his dad's one of the toughest people he knows.  Orton said at Extreme Rules, he and Kane will fight in a Falls Count Anywhere match.

Darren Young  and Titus O'Neil defeaed the Uso's.

Alberto Del Rio defeated Big Show in a non-title matchup.  Cody Rhodes came out and managed to hit the Beautiful Disaster kick on Show as the ref was distracted.  Rhodes went to attack even more post-match, but Show chased him off.

Ryback defeated a local amateur wrestler by pinfall.

Aksana brought her new friend to meet Teddy backstage.  Her friend was Antonio Cesaro (Claudio Castagnoli), a European rugby star.  She said he has a meeting set up with John Laurinaitis.  Long couldn't talk due to JL's orders from before.

Sheamus, Big Show and Randy Orton defeated Daniel Bryan, Mark Henry and Cody Rhodes by pinfall in a six man tag match.  Originally, Great Khali was scheduled to compete but Rhodes attacked him before the match, injurring Khali's leg bad.  The Big Show filled in for him.  Towards the end of the match, Rhodes hit the RKO on Henry to pickup the victory.
