WWE NXT Results 04/11/12

NXT Season 5 results for 04/11/12 from Hampton, VA:

Maxine was ringside for the opening match, but Percy Watson complained about her.  William Regal ordered Maxine to stay away from the ring so she joined Regal and Matthews for commentary.

Johnny Curtis defeated Percy Watson by pinfall.  Late in the match, Percy was in control but got distracted when Regal and Maxine left together.  Curtist was able to score a quick rollup pinfall for the win.

Backstage, Maxine bumped into Hawkins and Reks who asked if she lived up to her end of the bargain with Regal.  She asked where Striker is and they said they'd tell her if she lived up to her part of the bargain.  After Reks and Hawkins left, Kaitlyn and Derrick Bateman showed up.  Maxine started to cry about the Striker situation, prompting Kaitlyn and Bateman to help out.

Tamina was backstage and Titus O'Neil gave her a coconut tree to impress her.  She was happy with that and seemed to warm up to Titus again.  Darren Young came to the scene and was upset with Titus for going after the girl he likes.  Titus said he's not interested in Tamina, but wants to prove he's better than Young.

In another area backstage, Bateman and Kaitlyn found where Striker was being held hostage.  They helped Striker out who thought they were the bad guys at first.  He had Hawkins' cane.  Striker refused to go see a doctor for any medical help.

They showed the Raw Rebound detailing the latest from John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar.

William Regal found Hawkins and Reks backstage, then apologized for all the "Regal-isms" he used against them in the past several weeks.  He asked where Striker was, threatening severe consequences if anything happened to him.  Hawkins and Reks went to show Regal only to discover that Striker was gone.  Maxine and Curtis showed up gloating over how they turned the tables on Hawkins & Reks.

Tyson Kidd defeated Michael McGillicutty by submission.  Late in this match, McGillicutty went for his McGillicutter finisher.  Kidd countered, reversing it into a rollup pinfall.  McGill escaped then hit a suplex on Kidd before putting the Sharpshooter on him.  Kidd managed to grab the ropes to break the hold.  McGill went for a Fishermen's Suplex, but Kidd countered into a new submission involving an armbar and a Sharpshooter to make McGill tap out.
