WWE Superstars Results 07/19/12

Here are the latest results for the 7/19/12 episode of WWE Superstars shown exclusively on WWE.com this Thursday.  After the video package, the show immediately opened with US champion Santino Marella making his entrance as the fans cheered him on.  Scott Stanford and Josh Matthews appeared on camera to start off the show, talking up the upcoming 1,000th episode of Raw.

Santino Marella defeated Jinder Mahal via pinfall.  Mahal had control of things late, but Santino made a comeback and hit his move set including the hip toss and flying headbutt.  From there, he reached down his wrestling gear and pulled out the Cobra sock.  Mahal got up and Santino struck him with The Cobra for the win.

Cody Rhodes defeated Alex Riley by pinfall.  Riley started a late comeback including a big hip toss move for a near fall on Rhodes.  Rhodes got up near the corner and delivered a boot to the face on Riley.  However, as he charged at A-Ry, Riley hit a huge Spinebuster for another near fall.  Riley went for a high risk move, but Rhodes caught him mid-air with a dropkick.  Riley tried a quick schoolboy pin but Rhodes fought out.  Moments later, Riley got Rhodes up on his shoulder for his finisher, but Rhodes slipped off and hit Cross Rhodes for the win.

Raw Rebound covered John Cena's journey to the Money in the Bank ladder match, which he won after smashing the briefcase against Big Show's head.  Cena announced on Raw that he will cash in the MITB case for the 1,000th episode of Raw, rather than cashing it in when Punk was beaten up in the ring by Show already.

The Usos defeated Johnny Curtis and Derrick Bateman via pinfall.  Jimmy and Jey came out to do their traditional Smoan chant and dance as part of their entrance.  Before the match started, they showed a replay of The Usos joining their father Rikishi in the ring for Raw to dance after Rikishi beat Heath Slater.  Late in this match, they hit the Samoan Drop on Curtis, followed by the Samoan Splash from off the corner to get the pinfall win.  Striker said The Usos are clicking as a team and running on all cylinders, so the tag champs should take notice.

They did a replay of the in-ring segment on Raw where Daniel Bryan got down on one knee and proposed to AJ, then put a ring on her finger.  AJ said Yes, bringing a wedding between them as part of the 1,000th episode of Raw.

Sin Cara defeated Drew McIntyre by pinfall.  In this one Sin Cara had control late and went for a move off the corner.  Drew caught him from the air and slammed him against his knee for a near fall.  Moments later, Drew and Sin Cara fought on the corner.  Drew shoved Sin Cara off but he flipped to his feet on the mat.  Drew jumped off the corner with Sin Cara running under him to dodge him.  Sin Cara managed to jump at Drew and landed a twisting and turning DDT finisher for the win.  Sin Cara posed in the ring as fans cheered while Josh Matthews signed off hyping the 1,000th episode of Raw for Monday.
