WWE Superstars 09/06/12

Here are the latest results for the 09/6/12 episode of WWE Superstars shown online.  Among the stars in action were US Champion Antonio Cesaro, Justin Gabriel, R-Truth and Kofi Kingston, and Damien Sandow.

Antonio Cesaro defeated Justin Gabriel by pinfall in a non-title match.  Aksana was ringside.  Before the match, Cesaro said the word "exceptional" in five different languages.  For the closing moments of the match, Gabriel had his fast-paced offensive attack going to speed things up.  He hit a crossbody and nearly scored a 3 count.  He followed up by climbing to the top rope, but Cesaro takes him down, then hits the Neutralizer for the big pinfall win.

Layla defeated Natalya by pinfall in a non-title match.  Late in the match, Natalya put a modified Torture Rack submission on layla, and kept attacking her abdomen.  She hit a clothesline, followed by a standing pin attempt.  Natalya kept on attacking Layla's hurt midsection, but Layla fought back with punches and kicks.  Eventually her roundhouse kick gives her the pinfall win.

Damien Sandow defeated Alex Riley by pinfall.  Sandow cut his standard promo about the masses before the match.  Riley came out to a decent ovation, and received chants from the crowd during the match.  He had some momentum, including a bit spinebuster for a 2 count.  Riley hit a clothesline from the top rope, but Sandow manages to kick out of another pinfall.  From there, Sandow dropped A-Ry throat-first on the top rope, then hit his neckbreaker finisher for the win.

R-Truth and Kofi Kingston defeated Primo & Epico by pinfall in a non-title matchup.  Late in this one, Primo cut off Truth from tagging in Kofi.  Truth tried to fight back against Epico, but couldn't get his offense going.  He eventually escaped for the hot tag to Kofi, who kicked things into high gear with his high-flying moves.  Kofi hits his Boom Drop, then does a flip off the top rope for a pinfall.  Primo breaks things up.  As the action breaks down, Truth helps Kofi behind the ref's back to hit Trouble in Paradise for the win.
