Raw Results 04/24/14

Raw results from Brooklyn, NY:

The opening segment featured Stephanie talking up what her husband HHH did to Daniel Bryan last week and how Hunter is the most powerful man in WWE. Randy Orton came out to talk about potentially facing HHH in the Triple Threat at WM30 and said he can’t be responsible for what happens. Batista came out next and said he doesn’t care who it is, but he’s walking out as the new WWE Champion. At one point, Batista made some insulting remarks towards Steph and she slapped him in the face. Orton kept laughing about it as Steph left the ring. Batista speared Orton down and then held both title belts up.

Christian defeated Dolph Ziggler, Sheamus, and Alberto Del Rio via pinfall in a Fatal Fourway to earn an Intercontinental Title shot against Big E on WWE Main Event. Del Rio had a cross arm breaker on Sheamus late, but Sheamus powered up and out of it. However, Ziggler quickly hit Zig Zag. Christian rushed over to hit the Killswitch on Ziggler and made the pinfall cover. Post-match, Big E tried to shake hands with Christian in the ring, but Christian laughed and backed away.

The Wyatt Family did a promo up on the big screen talking about John Cena saying “we all see Cena,” because of all the “billboards and infomercials shoved down our throats every day.” He asked Cena “what can you possibly do to harm something that just can’t feel?” Harper said they can hear Cena whispering and are coming to find him now.

Michael Cole plugged the WWE Scooby Doo movie. Sin Cara arrived out in the Mystery Machine van next to the stage with Scooby Doo.

Sin Cara defeated Damien Sandow via pinfall. Cara hit a Swanton Bomb to get the win.

Los Matadores defeated Ryback and Curtis Axel via pinfall. Towards the end of the match, The Shield came through the crowd to the ringside area. Axel became distracted so one of Los Matadores surprised him with a rollup pin for the win. Post-match, The Shield beat up Ryback and Axel. They threw Axel into the crowd barrier. Reigns got in the ring and speared Ryback, before The Shield hit a Triple Powerbomb on him.

Michael Cole interviewed Triple H in the ring. HHH talked about his hand being forced to be a competitor rather than the COO. He said Bryan got “exactly what he deserves.”  Hunter said he sees the fans as little people with no power who cry when they don’t get what they want. HHH said maybe he should start “The Reality Era,” because the reality is at WrestleMania he’ll end Bryan’s run to the top and the pathetic Yes Movement. He said after that he’ll enter the Triple Threat match. He said The Reality Era means he’s going to leave WM30 as the WWE World Heavyweight Champ. HHH dropped his mic and his theme song played as he went backstage.

Cody Rhodes defeated Fandango via pinfall. Late in the match, Goldust walked over to taunt Summer Rae, who fell to the ground and held her ankle. Fandango was distracted enough for Cody to hit the Beautiful Disaster Kick for the win.

Hulk Hogan arrived out and hyped up WrestleMania for a few weeks from now, including the Andre Battle Royal. He introduced tonight’s guest celebs, Joe Manganiello and Arnold Schwarzenegger from the new movie “Sabotage.” Arnold brought up being good friends with Andre, who visited him on the “Conan” movie set a long time ago. Arnold and Joe joked about joining the Battle Royal at WM30. That brought The Miz out to interrupt who said he is a fan of Arnold’s work and assumes he is a fan of his work including “The Marine” sequel and “Christmas Bounty.” Miz vowed to win the Battle Royal and kept bragging about his win over Cena at WM27. Miz told Arnold and his co-star they don’t belong there. Manganiello told Miz if he wants them gone to make them leave. He shoved Miz, who backed away. Miz then tried for a punch on Manganiello, but got clocked down by him and Arnold. Hogan tossed Miz out over the top rope to end the skit.

Big Show defeated Titus O’Neil via pinfall. The match lasted just over two minutes with Show hitting a Spear on Titus then the WMD punch for the win.

Backstage The Shield asked Steph and HHH where they stood with New Age Outlaws and Kane. HHH told them its between them and Shield. Steph put them in a match against Real Americans and said they could all discuss it afterward.

John Cena and Luke Harper fought to a no-contest in their match. Cena went for a late Attitude Adjustment on Harper, but the Wyatt sound effect went off and the arena went dark. As the lights finally came back on, Cena was tangled up in the ropes and had Rowan’s sheep mask on his face. Harper and Rowan were squatting next to him with Bray Wyatt behind him in the crucifix pose. The close drew “This is awesome” chants from the crowd.

Naomi defeated AJ Lee via count out. The Divas championship was on the line. Naomi was wearing a new eye patch during the bout. She went for the Rearview early on, but Lee got out of the way and went to ringside, skipping around the ring. AJ stood there as the ref counted her out. Vickie Guerrero came out with her “Excuse Me” to interrupt talking about how AJ was negative about her on SmackDown. She said because of that she’s booked the “Vickie Guerrero Divas Championship Invitational.” It will feature Naomi, Cameron, Natalya, The Bella Twins, Rosa Mendes, Summer Rae, Eva Marie, Emma, Layla and Tamina.

They announced the latest member of the 2014 WWE Hall of Fame class is Scott Hall aka “Razor Ramon.”

Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose defeated The Real Americans via pinfall. Rollins hit an impressive spot towards the end where he knocked Cesaro into the front row with a suicide dive, then flipped over the top onto Swagger. Rollins caught Swagger with a knee to the head from the top rope, then a kick to the head followed by the curb stomp move for the win. Post-match, Cesaro tried for an attack on Rollins, but Ambrose intercepted and hit a Superman Punch to send him to ringside. Reigns speared Cesaro, then Shield tore the announcers table apart, before hitting a Triple Powerbomb on Cesaro through the table. Kane’s pyro fireworks went off and he came out with Road Dogg and Billy Gunn, all dressed in suits. Kane said he and New Age Outlaws will take on The Shield at WrestleMania 30. JBL called it “The Shield vs. The Suits.”

Paul Heyman and Brock Lensar arrived out to cut a promo about Undertaker and the WM30 streak match. Heyman said it will still be a noble thing that Undertaker had 21 consecutive victories at WrestleMania. He said John Cena, Andre the Giant and Brock Lesnar couldn’t accomplish that on the “grandest stage of them all.” Heyman kept on going with his speech until Lesnar took the mic and told him “enough,” he said he was there to fight and “Let’s do this.” With that, druids came out with a casket for the ringside area. They lined the aisles as Lesnar opened the casket. He saw no Undertaker and asked if it was a joke or funny. The druids went backstage and Lesnar slammed the casket shut.

Lesnar said he’s not there for games tonight. Heyman said it’s typical of Lesnar to call out Undertaker in a slum like Brooklyn and all they get is an empty casket. Suddenly, the casket opened and Taker was inside. Heyman yelled “Oh, my God!” multiple times. Taker got in the ring and the lights came back on. Taker started to throw punches towards Brock then clotheslined him out of the ring over the casket. Lesnar was upset and Heyman begged him to just walk away for now. Brock pointed at the WM30 banner as Taker stared him down, then made his “throat slash” sign. The Undertaker’s music played out the show.
