Raw Preview 07.07.08

Tonight's Raw will feature its brand new champion, CM Punk. Punk captured Edge's World Heavyweight title just a week ago after cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase. JBL made sure to immediately declare Marshal Law on Raw and made himself the first challenger for Punk's title. However, JBL's personal security crew wasn't enough to help him win the title. CM Punk retained and will continue his reign. Who will be the top contender for Punk's title heading to Great Americah Bash? Will JBL continue to make life troublesome for the World Heavyweight champ?

Last week's title defense was successful for Punk thanks to John Cena and Cryme Tyme. The trio came to the aid of CM Punk as they took on JBL's security crew during the main event. The distraction gave Punk the ability to grab JBL for a GTS to win. Will JBL take out his frustrations on the three wrestlers? What will the consequences be for Cena and Cryme Tyme tonight?

The Raw television show continues to operate with no General Manager. Even though JBL declared "Marshal Law" last week and put himself in charge, there is still no true boss with Vince McMahon sidelined. Will someone else step forward to run the show, or will the superstars schedule their own matches?
