Orton & Mysterio Return to Raw!

Monday Night Raw saw two superstars return to the ring with the still injured Randy Orton, and the "back from the dead" Rey Mysterio. Orton came to the ring to start off the program, and basically put all Raw champions on notice. After insulting Beth Phoenix, Santino Marella and the tag champs Cody & Rhodes, Orton decided to call out CM Punk as a "poor example of a champion". Punk responded of course by arriving to the ring to confront the brash Orton. Raw may have showed its hand a bit as Punk and Orton got into each others' faces, and at the end of the night, Punk got the last laugh by splashing water onto Orton. It's a precursor of what's to come, and probably gives us the easy prediction that Punk retains his title at Unforgiven. An Orton vs. Punk title feud is surely down the road, and quite possibly Orton takes it from Punk. This sets up a grand return for John Cena to come back around Royal Rumble, once again.

Not only did Randy Orton show up on Raw, but fans finally got the answer to the "Is he alive or is he dead?" question Kane had been posing. At the end of Raw all 5 men from the World Heavyweight Championship Scramble battled in an over the top rope Battle Royal. It looked like just 4 were available to fight, as Mysterio was missing to start things off. After it came down to just Kane and CM Punk, Kane was able to shove Punk out of the ring and seemed to have won. But lo and behold, Mysterio is still alive, and made his surprise return to attack the man who claimed to crush his soul. This gives yet another idea of what to expect at Unforgiven. Kane and Mysterio basically cancel each other out of the Scramble. I've read a prediction saying that Batista has the best chance to win the title, but after tonight's Orton-Punk encounter, it may be safest to say Punk keeps it.

And fans got a teaser that John Cena had made a surprise return to to Raw to say hello...then they realized it was Charlie Haas goofing around again. His antics didn't go over too well with fans or Kofi Kingston, who easily dismantled the prankster in the squared circle.
