Tonight's Smackdown comes right ahead of this Sunday's No Way Out Pay-Per-View which will feature 5 of Smackdown's best inside the Elimination Chamber trying for Edge's WWE Title. Edge will have his hands full with the likes of Big Show, Undertaker, Jeff Hardy, Triple H and Vladimir Kozlov inside the steel structure. On tonight's show four of these wrestlers will tangle in the ring in a Fatal Fourway match. Triple H, Undertaker, Vladimir Kozlov and Big Show will be fighting their own battle in the ring against their upcoming competitors. Which of these superstars will gain victory heading into the Elimination Chamber? Will this match leave any of the competitors battered and bruised prior to the No Way Out Pay-Per-View?
Jeff Hardy has been the recipient of all sorts of bad luck in the past weeks, but none seem to trump the fact his own brother betrayed him at the Royal Rumble. As many fans know, Jeff lost the WWE Title due to Matt slamming a chair across him. Edge was able to capitalize and regain the WWE Championship. Matt Hardy has now signed on with Smackdown after leaving ECW behind, and discussed how he took out his frustration on his brother due to pure and simple jealousy. Jeff Hardy's reaction has yet to be heard by Matt Hardy or the WWE Universe. Will Jeff make an appearance tonight to let everyone know his feelings about the betrayal? Will Matt Hardy be around to hear it?
Over the past few weeks a serious feud has developed between former diva pals, Michelle McCool and Maria. Maria served as a guest referee in Michelle's Divas Championship match weeks ago, and due to Maria's count, Maryse was able to win the title. Michelle took exception to Maria's decision and beat up the diva. From there, the two have continually collided. Last week, McCool took on Eve Torres in her Smackdown wrestling debut. After defeating Eve by submission, Michelle looked to cause further damage. Luckily, Maria charged down to the ring to save Eve and chase off Michelle. Tonight the two divas will finally collide in a match, one-on-one. Which of these two WWE Divas will gain the upperhand in this feud tonight?
