NXT Elimination Will Be...

There's been some interesting characters on Season 4 of NXT, as the weekly show on WWE.com will hold its second elimination in next week. Voting started earlier on Wednesday and it seems likely that the next rookie wrestler to go will be one Conor O'Brian.

Already eliminated was Jacob Novak a week prior. He was traded away by his mentor Dolph Ziggler, allowing Ziggler to keep Byron Saxton as his rookie. If Conor O'Brian is going next, will that mean Alberto Del Rio gets some way to make a trade? It seems WWE wants Del Rio in the spotlight right now, based on his arrival on Raw two weeks in a row, and his big win over Rey Mysterio on Smackdown.

Right now the top rookies appear to be Derrick Bateman, Johnny Curtis and then Brodus Clay. Bateman and Curtis don't really have any sort of unique appearance in-ring, but their personality seems to be winning over WWE fans. Bateman is just plain goofy, while Curtis is personable and likable. Byron Saxton seems to have the ingredients to be a decent heel character in the WWE. Brodus Clay has that huge domineering look that guys like Umaga and Rikishi had most recently. It's tough at this point to see any of those four not having a job in the WWE, but stranger things have happened.

Expect to see Conor O'Brian and his rat-like ways get the boot on next Tuesday's show, which should make Ricardo Rodriguez a happy Mariachi.
