Raw Preview 07/25/11
Tonight's episode of WWE Raw will feature the WWE Championship tournament final match. In this match, Rey Mysterio and The Miz will face off for the WWE Championship. One of these two superstars may be leaving the show as the new champion. Will The Miz earn his second ever title reign, or will Rey Mysterio emerge victorious?
Meanwhile, Alberto Del Rio continues to hold the Raw Money in the Bank briefcase which contains a free WWE Championship match contract. Del Rio was able to retrieve the briefcase by unmasking Rey Mysterio and shoving him onto a nearby ladder. Now Mysterio will be fighting for the WWE Championship belt. The Miz was also involved in the MITB match but came up short. Now The Miz is part of the championship match. With a champion about to be crowned on Monday night, will Del Rio be cashing in to achieve "his destiny?"
Finally, last week saw Vincent Kennedy McMahon attempt to fire John Cena at the end of Monday Night Raw, since Cena lost the WWE Championship to CM Punk. Instead, Vince found himself relieved of his duties as the WWE Chairman by his son-in-law, Triple H. McMahon was seen in the ring in tears as fans chanted "Thank You Vince" for all he's done. Now a new day and a new regime is in place to handle the day-to-day WWE business. What will Triple H have in store now that he's running the show, so to speak?
