WWE Superstars Results 10/13/11:

Superstars opened as Raw star Santino Marella made his way to the ring wearng his green Cobra sock on his right arm. Scott Stanford opened on commentary along with Josh Matthews.

Santino Marella vs. JTG

Late in the match, Santino got revved up and punched JTG down, then did his patented split. Santino missed on his flying headbutt, but then punched JTG in the gut and hit a Santino Stunner. Santino got up and put The Cobra in position, then knocked out JTG for the win.

Alex Riley vs. Drew McIntyre

Stanford said Riley's 3-0 since coming to Superstars a few weeks ago. Drew had control late in the match, beating on Riley.

Riley was able to toss Drew onto the apron, then blocked a punch attempt and swing him into the ringpost. Riley took control from there and hit the Spinebuster, then hit a finishing DDT, but Drew kicked out of the pin attempt. Drew hit a huge spinebuster of his own for a near fall.

Riley countered a move from the corner for a backslide pinfall attempt, but Drew countered and attempted the Future Shock DDT. Riley countered that and got Drew on his shoulders then finished it with a backwards slam move.

Winner: Alex Riley wins via pinfall over Drew McIntyre.

Ezekiel Jackson vs. Heath Slater

Jack Korpela and Matt Striker were now on commentary. Korpela talked about the 55 person solidarity rally outside the arena this past Monday. Korpela said during the rally Slater poked Jackson in the chest and told him "why don't you break up this rally like you broke up The Corre."

Early on, Jackson told Slater to "shhh" several times, then punched him down for more of a beating around the ring. Jackson nearly had the Torture Rack, but Slater slid off. Jackson clotheslined him out of the ring for a commercial break.

When they returned, Slater managed to yank Jackson against the ropes. His advantage was shortlived though as Jackson leveled him then hit a huge elbow on him for a near fall. Jackson went for a powerslam, but Slater slid off and shoved him into the corner. Slater hit a neckbreaker for a near fall. Jackson started punching away on Slater in the corner. Slater fought out and hit a Tornado DDT for a near fall.

Late in the match, Slater had a headlock on Jackson who stood up with Slater on his back and backed him against the corner. Jackson followed with a huge side slam and tried to regain his energy. He hit a huge clothesline on Slater on the corner, then put him up in the Torture Rack to finish it.

Winner: Ezekiel Jackson wins via submission over Heath Slater.

WWE Superstars episode closed with a recap highlight video of Triple H being relieved of his duties as the COO of WWE. Vince McMahon announced that John Laurinaitis was now the interim General Manager until a new one was hired. Later in the show, Laurinaitis brought back formerly fired superstars R-Truth and The Miz.

He had them facing CM Punk and Alberto Del Rio in a tag team match. Del Rio bailed on Punk due to an injury allowing "Awesome Truth" to doubleteam and beat up Punk. Triple H arrived to the ring for the save. The show closed with Laurinaitis telling David Otunga he plans to have the board make a match for Vengeance: Triple H & CM Punk vs. R-Truth and The Miz.
