Raw Preview 12/05/11

Last week's Raw saw plenty of interesting revelations occur throughout the show.  In the main event, CM Punk was booked to defend his WWE Championship against Alberto Del Rio.  Interim Raw GM John Laurinaitis made a stipulation that should Punk get disqualified during the match, the title would be given to Del Rio.  There were plenty of near DQ's in the match, but ultimately Punk used Del Rio's exposed turnbuckle against him.  After dropping Del Rio on the exposed steel, Punk was able to capture a win and retain the title.  What will John Laurinaitis have to say about the way in which Punk won?

Also last week, The Miz took out yet another superstar.  This time around it was high-flyer, John Morrison.  Miz had a Falls Count Anywhere match against JMo, and ended up taking him out on the stage.  After smashing Morrison face-first into a WWE logo, he hit the Skullcrushing Finale to drive the point home.  After Morrison was ruled comatose by a ref, he was taken backstage by medical personnel.  Morrison was released after the show, making yet another victim for The Miz.  Who will be next for The Miz to take out?

And finally, John Cena was the guest on a special edition of "Piper's Pit."  During the segment, WWE legend Rowdy Roddy Piper tried to encourage Cena he needed to get fired up for the fans.  Piper talked about how when the crowd cheered him he did good things, but when they booed him, he did bad things.  Cena stayed true to his character and core values, insisting that he has some fans who just don't get him, and that's ok.  Nonetheless, Roddy Piper was seen on Smackdown talking to The American Dream Dusty Rhodes about Cena.  Will Dusty be the next WWE legend to have a talk with Cena?

Find out on Monday Night Raw, starting at 9PM EST on USA!
