NOC Kick-off Show Online: Tag Team Turmoil:

Match 1: Tons of Fun defeated 3MB (Slater & McIntyre) via pinfall in the first match.  Tensai scored a schoolboy rollup pin out of nowhere.  3MB attacked Tons of Funk post-match, with The Real Americans rushing down to join in.  They kicked 3MB out of the ring and kept up the beatdown on Tensai before yelling "We The People!"

Match 2: The Real Americans defeated Tons of Funk via submission.  Swagger made a blind tag on Cesaro's back as Clay went for a slam move.  He waited for the move to happen, then came in to put the Ankle Lock on Clay as Clay had a pinfall on Cesaro.  Clay tried to resist but soon tapped out.  The Usos rushed down to the ring to throw Real Americans out of the ring, before one of The Usos dove out onto Swagger on the outside.

Match 3: The Real Americans defeated The Usos via submission.  Late in this third match, one of The Usos jumped off the corner at Swagger.  Swagger avoided him and grabbed his ankle from the air to put the Ankle Lock on again.  Soon after The Uso tapped out.  Primetime Players rushed to the ring for the final match.

Match 4: The Primetime Players won via pinfall over Real Americans to become new #1 contenders for the tag team titles.  Swagger had Titus in the Ankle Lock but Young eventually got back into the ring and kicked Swagger down to break it.  Cesaro rushed at Young and D-Young dumped him out of the ring.  From there, Titus struggled to make the hot tag.  Young came in and was caught in the Ankle Lock but managed to roll out of it, then hit his double knees to the gut drop finisher on Swagger for the win.  PTP will face The Shield for the tag team titles at NOC.

Night of Champions PPV Results:

Triple H was out to start the PPV off, talking about what's best for business. He mentioned tonight's WWE Title Match saying there will be no interference from anyone including Shield, Big Show or anyone else. Paul Heyman came out to interrupt trying to beg HHH to call of his match. Triple H said it's a 2 on 1 and Heyman doesn't even have to get in the match if Axel handles Punk. Heyman doesn't seem sure of that. HHH reminds him it's a No DQ match and the match will stay as it is. Heyman goes to leave, but Axel takes the mic and asks Triple H if he thinks this is funny. He keeps at it, reminding HHH he beat him several months ago. Triple H says this is Night of Champions, "where all championships are defended." He says he's going backstage and the first person he sees gets a title shot at Axel, and the match is right now.

Curtis Axel defeated Kofi Kingston via pinfall to retain the Intercontinental Championship.  Late in the match, the two traded near falls.  Kofi was able to hit the SOS on Axel for another near fall.  Kofi kicked away on Axel as he got to his feet, but Axel managed to put Kofi up on his shoulders and drop him over the rope, then hit his neckbreaker for the win.  Post-match, Heyman posed in the ring as Axel held up the IC belt victorious.

AJ Lee won via submission over Natalya to retain the Divas Championship.  Late in the Fatal 4-Way match, a Sharpshooter attempt was blocked.  Natalya slammed Brie on top of Naomi.  Both their shoulders were down, but the ref wasn't counting.  Natalya went over and put the double Sharpshooter on both Brie and Naomi.  AJ gets over to break things up and attacked Natalya from behind, then applied the Black Widow on her to make Natalya submit.

Rob Van Dam won due to disqualification of Alberto Del Rio, who retained the championship.  Late in the match, RVD went for the Five Star Frogsplash but Del Rio got his knees in the way.  Del Rio put on the cross armbreaker in the middle of the ring, with RVD trying to get to the ropes.  Del Rio pulls him away, but RVD struggles and finally makes it back to the ropes.  Del Rio doesn't let go of the hold and the ref eventually calls for the DQ.  Post-match, Del Rio attacked RVD some more, then went for a steel chair, but Ricardo stopped him.  RVD got back up and hit a DDT on Del Rio, then put him in the corner.  Del Rio climbed up the opposite corner, and RR put the steel chair on Del Rio.  RVD jumped across the ring to dropkick the chair into Del Rio.

Backstage, Paul Heyman was dressed in all black and talking with Curtis Axel.  He said if he loses, he won't be out there to help him against CM Punk.  Heyman says he's always believed in Axel, but tonight he needs Axel to believe in himself.

Triple H was shown talking to someone on his phone when WWE champ Randy Orton walked into the scene.  Orton askeed HHH why he made the no outside interference rule earlier for his match tonight.  Triple H says he wants to make sure he found the right guy to be the face of this business.  Orton laughs and says he did, before leaving.

The Miz defeated Fandago via submission.  Fandango got sent out of the ring to the floor late during this one, with Miz attacking from the apron and both guys going down to the floor.  The two continued fighting back and forth, trading roll-ups.  Miz eventually locked in the Figure Four for the win.

Paul Heyman defeated CM Punk via pinfall in the 2-on-1 Handicap No DQ Elimination Match. During the match, Axel and Punk managed to trade the use of Kendo sticks and steel chairs.  At one point, Axel was able to dodge a suicide dive by Punk out to the floor, and hit Punk with a steel chair.  He brought Punk back in the ring for a near fall.  Axel hit a swinging neckbreaker and had another near fall.  Moments later, Axel escaped a GTS attempt from Punk.  Punk hit him with a kendo stick then nailed GTS and put him into the Anaconda Vise.  Axel soon tapped out, leaving it as Punk vs. Heyman.

Heyman tried to run up the ramp to leave the scene, but Punk chased him into the crowd.  Heyman was able to run back to the ring but Punk caught him there, pulling him up by the nose and then smacking him around.  Heyman begged Punk not to hurt him and hugged Punk.  Punk laughed it off then wailed on Heyman with the kendo stick.  He eventually pulled a chain and handcuffs out from his boot and put Heyman's arms behind his back to beat him up more with the kendo stick.  Punk kept up the beating and humiliation, spitting in Heyman's face.  All of a sudden, Ryback came running down to the ring.  Punk turned around and Ryback sent Punk crashing through a table set up in the corner.  Ryback then rolled Heyman on top of Punk to get the pinfall win.

Dean Ambrose defeated Dolph Ziggler via pinfall to retain the United States Championship.  Late in the match, the two were going back and forth.  Ziggler hit a huge clothesline for a near fall.  Ziggler countered another Ambrose move and put a sleeper hold on.  Ambrose was able to backdrop Orton to break things up.  Ambrose went for a cover and had a 2 count.  Ziggler was able to block yet another Ambrose move for a roll up.  Moments later, Ziggler missed a leg drop and Ambrose had another roll-up attempt.  The two had more pin attempts, with Ambrose avoiding a Diggler splash attempt in the corner, then hitting his finisher on him for the win.  Post-match, Reigns and Rollins joined Ambrose to celebrate his win.

Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns defeated Primetime Players via pinfall to retain the WWE Tag Team titles.  Late in this match, Titus hit a side powerbomb on Rollins, then went for the pinfall.  Reigns came in to make the save at 2.  Young rushed in, and the two ended up going to the outside.  The ref became distracted when he saw Young get hit down on the outside.  That allowed Reigns to sneak back in illegally and hit a Spear on Titus so Rollins could collect the pinfall.  Post-match, all three members of Shield posed in the ring with their championship belts.

Daniel Bryan defeated Randy Orton via pinfall to become the new WWE Champion.  During the late part of the match, Bryan dropkicked Orton who bumped the ref, causing the ref to get knocked out of the ring.  Another referee rushed down to officiate.  The finish saw the two trading all sorts of moves and blocked moves.  At one point, Orton ducked a roundhouse kick attempt from Bryan and tossed Bryan overhead.  However, Bryan was able to regain control of things and ultimately connected on his flying kick to Orton's head, then pinned him.  The original referee was back in the ring and made the pinfall count to declare Bryan the new WWE champion.
