D-Young tagged in and started to clean house against the New Day including a backdrop on the side apron to take down Woods. Young came back in the ring from the outside and Kofi hit a spin kick. New Day tried for a double team move and Young escaped it, then connected on a Gut Check with his knees on Kofi. Big E came in as Young tagged Titus in. Titus hit his sit out Powerslam for the win.

Winners: The Prime Time Players won via pinfall over New Day to retain the WWE Tag Team Championships.

Paige was backstage and hyped up Becky Lynch and Charlotte about tonight's big match. Becky said they will tear the division down and rebuild it brick by brick. Charlotte said they'd do it with "Flair" as the three divas locked pinkies in union and smiled.

Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt

Reigns knocked Wyatt to the outside early but as he went to grab him through the ropes, Wyatt blasted him with a huge shot to the head. Back in the ring, Wyatt took control of things with more strikes, but Reigns soon recovered and hit him down with a clothesline. Wyatt went out of the ring but Reigns went out and tossed him into the barricade. Later, Reigns charged at Wyatt near the steel steps. Wyatt moved aside and Reigns crashed shoulder first into the steps, falling to the floor. At one point, Reigns went for the driveby with Wyatt near the apron. Wyatt got up and chopped him down to counter it, then hit a senton bomb on the outside floor. Wyatt went for Sister Abigail later, and Reigns countered hitting a Superman Punch for a near fall.

At one point, Reigns hit about 10 clotheslines in the corner on Wyatt. Wyatt rolled to the outside. He eventually recovered and grabbed two steel chairs at ringside. Reigns came out of the ring and punched him down. He looked at the chairs and started to toss them into the ring. With Wyatt rolled back in the ring, a figure in a hooded sweatshirt suddenly attacked Reigns from behind, shoving him into the ringpost. Wyatt came over and hit Sister Abigail on Reigns on the side apron. He followed with another in the ring for the win. Post-match, the hooded figure got in the ring and revealed it was Luke Harper.

At one point, Sasha put Charlotte and Brie each across different corner ropes and then jumped on top of both. Later, Brie went to the outside and recovered near Nikki and Alicia Fox. Paige and Becky went on one side while Tamina and Noami went to the other. Nikki and Alicia tried to send Brie back in the ring, but Sasha came flying out on top of all the divas. Moments later, Charlotte jumped over the top rope to land on Tamina and Naomi. Nikki got knocked from the corner to the floor. Sasha gained control and put the Banks Statement submission on Charlotte. Nikki crawled back over to break things up and tossed Sasha outside. Eventually, Owens tapped out giving Cena the victory.

Brock Lesnar vs. Seth Rollins (c)
WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match

Lesnar dominated from the onset with Rollins doing a lot of attempting to run away. Lesnar hit multiple German Suplexes on Rollins. Rollins eventually gained some control and hit a series of kicks and then three super kicks. Rollins set up for the Pedigree, but Lesnar escaped and got Rollins up for an F5. Rollins slipped out and kneed Lesnar in the back, then sent him to ringside. Rollins hit several suicide dives. Back in the ring, Brock recovered and hit the seventh suplex. Moments later, he hit the F5 and went for the pin. The ref got to two but then the lights went out and the gong was heard.

The lights came back on with Undertaker standing in the ring and Rollins gone. Lesnar and Heyman looked shocked. Undertaker got out of an F5 attempt and kicked Lesnar below the belt, then chokeslammed Lesnar. Taker hit a Tombstone Piledriver. Moments later, he hit a second Piledriver. The fans chanted “One More Time,” but Taker dropped down to one knee and stuck out his tongue to pose as his music played. Taker left the ring to go up the ramp. He eventually looked back towards Lesnar, then put his fist up to end the show.

Winner: Seth Rollins vs. Brock Lesnar ended in a no-contest/unannounced finish when The Undertaker interfered.

Ambrose got into the ring with Sheamus, but then Kane came out to interrupt. Kane told Ambrose he seems to like getting in everyone else’s business but isn’t very good at following through. After some jabs made by Ambrose about Kane, Kane booked a handicap match with he and Sheamus against Ambrose.

Rollins ended by saying he’s been getting asked all week what he thinks of Brock Lesnar and he said he can’t wait.

Kevin Owens defeated Cesaro via pinfall. The match lasted over 10 minutes with Cesaro able to get the apprehend for quite a bit. At one point, the two competitors went back and forth, before Owens eventually hit his pop up Powerbomb to get the win.

He said he likes the idea of the ladder match because he’s never afraid to fall.

She said she intends to do that so the Bella Twins will stop holding the Divas Division back.

Kevin Owens came out to trash talk John Cena, saying Cena thinks Owens hangs on his every word like his son, but he doesn’t. Lana said she genuinely cared about Rusev but he didn’t respect her so she had to leave him. Miz introduced his surprise guest, Rusev, who came to the ring on crutches. He begged Lana to give him another chance and to “be my crutch.” He put the crutches aside. Lana took the crutch and shoved it into him. Rusev became irate and started to yell at Lana, but out came Dolph Ziggler who led Lana out of the ring, further irritating Rusev.

The opening segment had The Shield in the ring talking about how if they were in a Chamber match with Orton, one of them would walk out champion.  Reigns said it would be him, which caused Ambrose to get agitated and interrupt.  They argued over the Royal Rumble, with Ambrose telling Reigns to toss him out of the ring like a man face-to-face next time.  Reigns got in Ambrose's face with Rollins interrupting to put both his teammates over a bit.  They noted that it was the Wyatt Family who cost them the Royal Rumble.  That brought out Vickie who tried to set something up, but before she could, Triple H came out and took the mic to walk to the ring.  He talked about how all this talk was about a loss, and there's no money in it.  He eventually booked The Shield vs. The Wyatt Family for the Elimination Chamber PPV.

Antonio Cesaro defeated Dolph Ziggler via pinfall.  Cesaro went for a late European uppercut move, with Ziggler grabbing him and hitting a DDT to counter.  Ziggler had a nearfall.  Later, he went for the ZigZag to finish, but Cesaro grabbed the ropes to prevent it, then followed with a Cesaro swing.  He finished Ziggler off with the Neutralizer.  With the win, Cesaro gained a spot in the Elimination Chamber match at the PPV.

Post-match, The Rhodes Brothers and New Age Outlaws brawled in the ring, with the Rhodes clearing NAO out of the ring.

The Shield went out to the ring for the main event six man tag match.  The Wyatt video glitch sounded off to interrupt and they were shown on the screen.  Bray said he admires their courage, since normal men lose sleep over dancing with reapers.  He understands "war and injustice is their game" and said he "digs it."  Bray said he likes to play games too.  Harper told them you reap what you sow and "you three boys picked a wonderful hill to die on."  Bray got back in the camera and said it's dangerous to invite the devil into your backyard, because he might like it and decide to stay.  The promo closed with Rowan looking at the camera in his sheep mask saying "Run."

Curtis Axel defeated Zack Ryder via pinfall in a non-title match.  Early on, Ryder had control using quick moves, but Axel delivered a shot to the back of Ryder's head to stop his momentum.  Axel kept control of things for a bit, but Ryder again got momentum with some quick offense including a Broski Boot.  Axel held onto the ropes to stay in the corner, then yanked Ryder face-first against the turnbuckle.  He finished up with the neckbreaker finisher for the win.

The Real Americans defeated Tons of Funk via pinfall.  The Funkadactyls and Zeb Colter were at ringside for their respective teams.  Late in this contest, Tensai got a hot tag and came in to hit a rolling senton bomb on Cesaro.  However, Swagger was able to cause a distraction, which allowed Cesaro to set up the Neutralizer and hit it on Tensai for the win.

2013 WWE Night of Champions Results (Updated)

The 2013 WWE Night of Champions results will arrive starting at 7:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on Sunday, Sept. 15, as the WWE presents a live online kick-off show featuring a "Tag Team Turmoil" match. That match will determine new #1 contenders for the WWE Tag Team titles. From there, the main pay-per-view takes place featuring just about every championship in the WWE up for grabs! Check back on this page as more results are added later on Sunday night, with full results added as of 11 p.m. EST!

NOC Kick-off Show Online: Tag Team Turmoil:

Match 1: Tons of Fun defeated 3MB (Slater & McIntyre) via pinfall in the first match.  Tensai scored a schoolboy rollup pin out of nowhere.  3MB attacked Tons of Funk post-match, with The Real Americans rushing down to join in.  They kicked 3MB out of the ring and kept up the beatdown on Tensai before yelling "We The People!"

Match 2: The Real Americans defeated Tons of Funk via submission.  Swagger made a blind tag on Cesaro's back as Clay went for a slam move.  He waited for the move to happen, then came in to put the Ankle Lock on Clay as Clay had a pinfall on Cesaro.  Clay tried to resist but soon tapped out.  The Usos rushed down to the ring to throw Real Americans out of the ring, before one of The Usos dove out onto Swagger on the outside.

Match 3: The Real Americans defeated The Usos via submission.  Late in this third match, one of The Usos jumped off the corner at Swagger.  Swagger avoided him and grabbed his ankle from the air to put the Ankle Lock on again.  Soon after The Uso tapped out.  Primetime Players rushed to the ring for the final match.

Match 4: The Primetime Players won via pinfall over Real Americans to become new #1 contenders for the tag team titles.  Swagger had Titus in the Ankle Lock but Young eventually got back into the ring and kicked Swagger down to break it.  Cesaro rushed at Young and D-Young dumped him out of the ring.  From there, Titus struggled to make the hot tag.  Young came in and was caught in the Ankle Lock but managed to roll out of it, then hit his double knees to the gut drop finisher on Swagger for the win.  PTP will face The Shield for the tag team titles at NOC.

Night of Champions PPV Results:

Triple H was out to start the PPV off, talking about what's best for business. He mentioned tonight's WWE Title Match saying there will be no interference from anyone including Shield, Big Show or anyone else. Paul Heyman came out to interrupt trying to beg HHH to call of his match. Triple H said it's a 2 on 1 and Heyman doesn't even have to get in the match if Axel handles Punk. Heyman doesn't seem sure of that. HHH reminds him it's a No DQ match and the match will stay as it is. Heyman goes to leave, but Axel takes the mic and asks Triple H if he thinks this is funny. He keeps at it, reminding HHH he beat him several months ago. Triple H says this is Night of Champions, "where all championships are defended." He says he's going backstage and the first person he sees gets a title shot at Axel, and the match is right now.

Curtis Axel defeated Kofi Kingston via pinfall to retain the Intercontinental Championship.  Late in the match, the two traded near falls.  Kofi was able to hit the SOS on Axel for another near fall.  Kofi kicked away on Axel as he got to his feet, but Axel managed to put Kofi up on his shoulders and drop him over the rope, then hit his neckbreaker for the win.  Post-match, Heyman posed in the ring as Axel held up the IC belt victorious.

AJ Lee won via submission over Natalya to retain the Divas Championship.  Late in the Fatal 4-Way match, a Sharpshooter attempt was blocked.  Natalya slammed Brie on top of Naomi.  Both their shoulders were down, but the ref wasn't counting.  Natalya went over and put the double Sharpshooter on both Brie and Naomi.  AJ gets over to break things up and attacked Natalya from behind, then applied the Black Widow on her to make Natalya submit.

Rob Van Dam won due to disqualification of Alberto Del Rio, who retained the championship.  Late in the match, RVD went for the Five Star Frogsplash but Del Rio got his knees in the way.  Del Rio put on the cross armbreaker in the middle of the ring, with RVD trying to get to the ropes.  Del Rio pulls him away, but RVD struggles and finally makes it back to the ropes.  Del Rio doesn't let go of the hold and the ref eventually calls for the DQ.  Post-match, Del Rio attacked RVD some more, then went for a steel chair, but Ricardo stopped him.  RVD got back up and hit a DDT on Del Rio, then put him in the corner.  Del Rio climbed up the opposite corner, and RR put the steel chair on Del Rio.  RVD jumped across the ring to dropkick the chair into Del Rio.

Backstage, Paul Heyman was dressed in all black and talking with Curtis Axel.  He said if he loses, he won't be out there to help him against CM Punk.  Heyman says he's always believed in Axel, but tonight he needs Axel to believe in himself.

Triple H was shown talking to someone on his phone when WWE champ Randy Orton walked into the scene.  Orton askeed HHH why he made the no outside interference rule earlier for his match tonight.  Triple H says he wants to make sure he found the right guy to be the face of this business.  Orton laughs and says he did, before leaving.

The Miz defeated Fandago via submission.  Fandango got sent out of the ring to the floor late during this one, with Miz attacking from the apron and both guys going down to the floor.  The two continued fighting back and forth, trading roll-ups.  Miz eventually locked in the Figure Four for the win.

Paul Heyman defeated CM Punk via pinfall in the 2-on-1 Handicap No DQ Elimination Match. During the match, Axel and Punk managed to trade the use of Kendo sticks and steel chairs.  At one point, Axel was able to dodge a suicide dive by Punk out to the floor, and hit Punk with a steel chair.  He brought Punk back in the ring for a near fall.  Axel hit a swinging neckbreaker and had another near fall.  Moments later, Axel escaped a GTS attempt from Punk.  Punk hit him with a kendo stick then nailed GTS and put him into the Anaconda Vise.  Axel soon tapped out, leaving it as Punk vs. Heyman.

Heyman tried to run up the ramp to leave the scene, but Punk chased him into the crowd.  Heyman was able to run back to the ring but Punk caught him there, pulling him up by the nose and then smacking him around.  Heyman begged Punk not to hurt him and hugged Punk.  Punk laughed it off then wailed on Heyman with the kendo stick.  He eventually pulled a chain and handcuffs out from his boot and put Heyman's arms behind his back to beat him up more with the kendo stick.  Punk kept up the beating and humiliation, spitting in Heyman's face.  All of a sudden, Ryback came running down to the ring.  Punk turned around and Ryback sent Punk crashing through a table set up in the corner.  Ryback then rolled Heyman on top of Punk to get the pinfall win.

Dean Ambrose defeated Dolph Ziggler via pinfall to retain the United States Championship.  Late in the match, the two were going back and forth.  Ziggler hit a huge clothesline for a near fall.  Ziggler countered another Ambrose move and put a sleeper hold on.  Ambrose was able to backdrop Orton to break things up.  Ambrose went for a cover and had a 2 count.  Ziggler was able to block yet another Ambrose move for a roll up.  Moments later, Ziggler missed a leg drop and Ambrose had another roll-up attempt.  The two had more pin attempts, with Ambrose avoiding a Diggler splash attempt in the corner, then hitting his finisher on him for the win.  Post-match, Reigns and Rollins joined Ambrose to celebrate his win.

Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns defeated Primetime Players via pinfall to retain the WWE Tag Team titles.  Late in this match, Titus hit a side powerbomb on Rollins, then went for the pinfall.  Reigns came in to make the save at 2.  Young rushed in, and the two ended up going to the outside.  The ref became distracted when he saw Young get hit down on the outside.  That allowed Reigns to sneak back in illegally and hit a Spear on Titus so Rollins could collect the pinfall.  Post-match, all three members of Shield posed in the ring with their championship belts.

Daniel Bryan defeated Randy Orton via pinfall to become the new WWE Champion.  During the late part of the match, Bryan dropkicked Orton who bumped the ref, causing the ref to get knocked out of the ring.  Another referee rushed down to officiate.  The finish saw the two trading all sorts of moves and blocked moves.  At one point, Orton ducked a roundhouse kick attempt from Bryan and tossed Bryan overhead.  However, Bryan was able to regain control of things and ultimately connected on his flying kick to Orton's head, then pinned him.  The original referee was back in the ring and made the pinfall count to declare Bryan the new WWE champion.

Rey Mysterio, Sin Cara & Randy Orton defeated Alberto Del Rio & Prime Time Players via pinfall.  Late in this main match, Del Rio avoided the 619 from Mysterio then tagged in Titus.  Titus works on Rey a bit, then Del Rio tags in again later.  He misses on a corner move, hitting shoulder-first into the ring post.  Ricardo helps Del Ro get back into the ring from the outside so he can tag Titus before Rey can make a hot tag.  Young tagged in to keep working on Rey.  The heels continued the strategy for a bit.

Eventually, Rey escapes after a Tilt-a-whirl DDT move, then hot tags Orton in.  Orton comes in and beats up all the opponents.  He hits a DDT from the ropes on Del Rio.  Titus and Darren come in to attack Orton, but Mysterio and Cara get in the ring to fight them off.  Rey hits a 619 on Del Rio, and Orton follows with the RKO for the win.

Post-match, the winners celebrated their victory, while Striker asked them for comments on the match.  Rey thanks Orton for helping to lead them to victory.  He says he and Cara are here in the tag division for the long run.  Cara speaks in Spanish.  Rey translates saying Cara said he and Rey are teaming up for one reason only: to become tag team champions.  Orton says they sent a loud message to Del Rio: there is only one Apex Predator.
