Smackdown results from Ottawa, Canada:
Here’s the latest results for the July 8, 2014 Smackdown episode in Canada, shown on TV via SyFy Friday night.
Rusev and Lana came out to continue talking about how great Russia and Putin are. Eventually, Roman Reigns came down to the ring, asking for a referee and a fight. Lana pulled Rusev away saying they would fight only on their terms.
Adam Rose defeated Fandango via count-out. During the match, Layla and Summer Rae got into it outside the ring, so Fandango went to try to break things up, so he was counted out.
Goldust defeated Curtis Axel via pinfall. Post-match, Ryback tried to attack, but Stardust blew gold dust into his face.
AJ Lee defeated Cameron in a non-title match. Naomi threw Cameron back in the ring at one point, which helped AJ get the win.
Randy Orton defeated Chris Jericho via pinfall. Orton was able to grab the win thanks to a distraction when the Wyatt Family sound effect went off, getting Jericho’s attention.
Summer Rae and Layla fought to a no contest. Fandango was special referee. Eventually, the two girls decided to make up and ditched Fandango before dancing in the ring together.
Roman Reigns defeated Rusev due to disqualification. Orton interfered at one point, causing a DQ. Rusev eventually left and Orton hit the RKO on Reigns to finish the show.
