SmackDown Results 06/18/15

SmackDown results from Buffalo, NY:

The opening of the show had Sheamus come to the ring with his MITB briefcase. He mentioned that nobody can stop him from achieving his goal now of becoming the champion again. He said he’s taken care of Randy Orton, so now he wants to move forward. Sheamus added he plans to take advantage of the situation with Brock Lesnar vs. Seth Rollins. Dean Ambrose came out to remind Sheamus that he beat him recently. He also said that Roman Reigns would have that briefcase if not for Bray Wyatt interfering at MITB. Ambrose said maybe he should come take the briefcase for Reigns. Sheamus called out Ambrose for being unable to win the big one so he steals other people’s property. Ambrose got into the ring with Sheamus, but then Kane came out to interrupt. Kane told Ambrose he seems to like getting in everyone else’s business but isn’t very good at following through. After some jabs made by Ambrose about Kane, Kane booked a handicap match with he and Sheamus against Ambrose.

Kane & Sheamus defeated Dean Ambrose via disqualification. Ambrose had control and went to the top rope, but Kane crotched him, allowing for he and Sheamus to start double teaming. Roman Reigns rushed in for the save, which also caused a DQ on Ambrose.

Brie Bella defeated Paige via pinfall. Paige was dominating the match following a commercial break. She got to the top rope for a move, but Alicia Fox rushed down and shoved her off. That helped Brie set up her facebuster finish for the win.

Neville defeated Xavier Woods via pinfall. At one point, Woods’ New Day teammates tried to intimidate Neville on the outside. Primetime Players came down to have Neville’s back. With Woods trying to climb the rope back in the ring, Neville got in and yanked him down. Neville hit the Red Arrow for the victory.

He talked about how at first he was surprised to see Lesnar back as his opponent, but now it makes complete sense. Rollins said he’s defeated Reigns, Ambrose and Orton, so Lesnar is the last guy he needs to defeat to cement his title reign. He said Lesnar had a chance to do something on Raw but didn’t because he knew Rollins would’ve destroyed him. Rollins ended by saying he’s been getting asked all week what he thinks of Brock Lesnar and he said he can’t wait.

2014 WWE Battleground PPV Results

Welcome to the latest results for the 2014 WWE Battleground pay-per-view. Here you’ll find the latest updated match-by-match results from the event scheduled for Sunday, July 20 in Tampa Bay, Florida. Among the big matches on the card will be John Cena defending the WWE World Heavyweight title in a Fatal Fourway and a battle royal to determine the new  Intercontinental Title holder. Also, Chris Jericho battles Bray Wyatt and Paige will try to win back the WWE Divas championship from AJ Lee.

The WWE Battleground PPV kicks off at 7:30 p.m. EST with the pre-show. This special half hour kickoff show will feature former diva tag team partners, Cameron and Naomi, going head-to-head in the ring. Which of the two “Total Divas” will score the victory and move ahead in the divas division?

At 8 p.m. EST, the main show starts and that will feature several big matches. John Cena will be defending his championship against Kane, Roman Reigns and Randy Orton in a Fatal Fourway match. Remember, Cena doesn’t need to be pinned or submit to lose this match, so he’ll have his work cut out for him. Will he leave the event as the champion still?

A number of superstars will compete in an Intercontinental Championship battle royal. Former champion Wade Barrett was injured during a Smackdown show weeks ago and was forced to vacate the title. Who will replace Barrett as the champion? Among the strong contenders are Kofi Kingston, RVD, Dolph Ziggler, Cesaro, Sheamus and Bo Dallas.

The PPV begins at 8 p.m. EST and runs until 11 p.m. EST approximately. The latest matches and results for all bouts are listed below:

Adam Rose defeated Fandango via pinfall. Layla, Summer Rose and the Rosebuds were ringside. At one point, Layla and Summer started leading the Rosebuds around ringside area, which caused a distraction. Fandango confronted the divas and they slapped him. Fandango rushed back into the ring, where Rose got the upper hand and hit the Party Foul for the win.

Cameron defeated Naomi via pinfall. The match lasted about 3 minutes with Naomi gaining a late comeback only for Cameron to roll her up and hold her tights for the win.

The Usos won two of three pitfalls over Harper & Rowan to retain the WWE Tag Team titles. Harper and Rowan won the first pinfall. The Usos won the 2nd pinfall to tie things at 2-2 in the match with one deciding fall to go. Rowan and Harper both went for high risk moves late but they either missed or were crotched. Jey Uso hit a Superfly Splash but shockingly only got a 2 count. Rowan battled both Usos at one point up on the corner and hit a double superplex, but only had a 2 count on it. Another near fall moments later with Jey making a save for Jimmy after a huge clothesline from Harper. He dumped one of The Usos out of the ring, but they responded with a double super kick on Harper, then one on Rowan to send him off the apron, followed by a double Superfly Splash off the corner on Harper for the win.

Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins match never took place. Rollins gave a backstage interview but Ambrose busted in to attack him, tossing Rollins into some equipment crates and throwing a light down at him. A bunch of WWE officials and personnel came rushing in to try to hold Ambrose back. Eventually, HHH showed up and told them to get Ambrose out of the building and that he doesn’t want to see him back. HHH went over and attended to Rollins. The commentary team argued over whether or not HHH should have done that or if the match should have happened still.

AJ Lee defeated Paige via pinfall to retain the Divas championship. During the match, Paige seemed to be dominating, but kept saying “come on AJ!” whenever AJ was slow to react or get up. Late in the match, Paige hit the Paige Turner, with AJ kicking out. The two countered submission and pinfall attempts late. Moments later, AJ hit a shining wizard to grab the winning pinfall.

Rusev defeated Jack Swagger via count out. Swagger had the Ankle Lock locked on late in the match with Rusev in agony. He managed to withstand the hold and eventually grabbed the bottom rope to break it. Rusev went to the outside, with Swagger following behind and clipping his leg. He grabbed Rusev’s ankle again on the outside to hold the Ankle Lock, but Rusev was right near the steps and ring post. He shifted his weight to break the hold, throwing Swagger into the ring post, causing Swagger to get KO’d and counted out. Rusev and Lana celebrated in the ring post-match as a Russian flag banner dropped down behind them in the ring. Eventually, Lana ordered Rusev to grab Swagger from the outside and attack. Rusev brought Swagger into the ring and locked The Accolade hold on with referees telling him to break it off.

Rollins made his entrance to the ring with his MITB case. In the ring, he waited out a “You Sold Out” chant and then said he wanted himself announced as the winner of the match against Dean Ambrose by forfeit and to have his hand raised. Justin Roberts checked it with the referee who agreed to it, so Roberts announced Rollins as winner by forfeit with the ref raising Rollins’ hand in victory. Post-match, Rollins was heading up the ramp to his music when the commentary team cut away to a shot of Ambrose attacking Rollins. He kept beating him up into the crowd area. Rollins fought back in the crowd, but as he went up on the barrier, Ambrose grabbed him and slammed him onto the Spanish announce table. Security rushed out to pull Ambrose away. Ambrose broke free and then ran and jumped off the commentators’ table to tackle Rollins down. Triple H came walking down the ramp as referees pounced on Rollins. HHH ordered them to carry him out of there and shoved Ambrose several times. They started to, but now Rollins came over and jumped on Ambrose. Eventually, the WWE staff started to carry Ambrose up the ramp with Rollins attacking again. Eventually the staff separated the two and HHH gathered Rollins towards the top of the stage to raise his arm.

Chris Jericho defeated Bray Wyatt via pinfall. Late in the match, Jericho escaped the Sister Abigail, then tried to put on the Lion Tamer. Bray started to punch back and kicked Jericho to the ropes. Moments later, he hit the Crossbody in the ring. However, the match ended surprisingly with Jericho getting the Codebreaker out of nowhere for the pinfall.

Seth Rollins was shown being escorted outside in the parking area by two security staff. He eventually stopped walking and turned to look at them saying he didn’t need any more backup. They both left the scene. Rollins started to walk forward then stopped and looked around to make sure Ambrose wasn’t lurking around the parked buses or cars. The scene looked clear, but he turned his back on his rental car. The trunk opened and Ambrose was hiding in there, then jumped out with a crowbar or wrench to try to hit Rollins. He kept on attacking, slamming Rollins on the hood of the car. Eventually, Rollins fought him off, got in the car and sped away.

The Miz won the Battleground Battle Royal to become the new Intercontinental Champion. Competing in the battle royal were Big E, Alberto Del Rio, Cesaro, R-Truth, Ryback, Curtis Axel, Zack Ryder, Titus O’Neil, Damien Sandow (dressed in summer gear), Heath Slater, Diego of Los Matadores, Sin Cara, Xavier Woods, The Great Khali, Kofi Kingston, Bo Dallas, Dolph Ziggler, The Miz and Sheamus. After all competitors were introduced, Bad News Barrett’s music hit and he arrived out in a suit wearing a sling on his right arm. He told them the winner gets his IC title but the bad news is they’ll meet their demise later from him in the form of a Bullhammer Elbow. The bell sounded and Khali started to chop everyone down fast. Xavier Woods and then Zack Ryder were both eliminated by Khali. Sheamus rushed over and hit a Brogue Kick on Khali, then multiple superstars eliminated Khali together. It came down to a finals of Dolph Ziggler, Bo Dallas, Cesaro, Heath Slater and Sheamus. Cesaro eliminated Kofi but then moments later, Heath Slater rushed over to push Cesaro over the top rope and out.

Sheamus eliminated Slater, then Bo Dallas tried to eliminate Sheamus. Sheamus retaliated and hit the multiple smashes on Dallas’ chest on the apron. Ziggler rushed over and kicked Sheamus into Dallas, causing Bo to fly to the ground. It came down to Sheamus versus Ziggler for the title. Sheamus hit a catapult move at one point to send Ziggler over onto the apron. Ziggler held on to the ropes with Sheamus coming over to try to knock him off. Sheamus ended up on the apron and tried for the battering ram but Ziggler responded with a big kick to send Sheamus out of the match. Ziggler thought he had the win and sank against the ropes, but soon The Miz rushed in and eliminated Ziggler from behind to claim the title. Cole yelled that The Miz was never officially eliminated.

John Cena defeated Kane via pinfall in the Fatal Fourway to retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Late in the match, both Cena and Reigns had pinfall attempts on Kane, after pulling one another off. Soon after, Cena hit the AA on Reigns for a cover, with Kane breaking it up. Kane hit a chokeslam on both Reigns and Cena, then tried to pin Reigns only to get a 2 count. Kane went for the Tombstone attempt on Reigns, but Reigns broke away and then speared Kane for a cover. Orton came in and broke it up, then RKO’d Kane. Cena pushed Reigns out of the ring, and then hit the AA with Orton on to Kane. Cena pinned Kane to get the big win to retain the title belts. Post-match, he celebrated with Reigns show looking up at him from the outside floor. The show closed with Cena up on stage celebrating with his title belts.

Another ref showed up to try to take the case for a cash-in, but Dean Ambrose showed up and tackled down Rollins. He battled Rollins to the back, while Cena was coming to in the ring.

Orton prepared for an RKO on Cena, but instead Cena caught him with the AA. Kane went to try to chokeslam Cena, but Reigns speared him down. Reigns and Cena stood tall after clearing the ring. Reigns held up Cena’s hand, but he was a bit offended by it, and yanked his hand away then held up Reigns’ hand. They came face-to-face, then Reigns held up Cena’s hand again before Raw ended.

Torito danced around, so Bo grabbed him and slammed him from overhead to finish the lesson off.

Chris Jericho came out to the ring to talk about his recent return and realizing The Wyatts are a little dangerous, but so is he. He said they will never, ever be the same again, when he’s done..Jericho was soon interrupted by The Wyatts sound effect.

Bray introduced himself to Jericho and used Jericho’s own catchphrase but suggested Jericho needs to “save himself.” Jericho tried to get Wyatt to come out to the ring, but instead The Miz came down. He asked Jericho how it feels to be interrupted. Miz said he might have helped Jericho against The Wyatts on Monday, but Jericho broke the golden rule by trying to hurt Miz’s moneymaker, his face. Jericho responded to the interruption with another Codebreaker on Miz.

Big E came to the ring for his match and talked about how he was ready to avenge the beating that his friend Kofi Kingston recently took from Cesaro post-match. Paul Heyman came out from backstage to introduce himself and his client. Cesaro got into the ring and attacked Big E before a match could start, tossing him to the outside. Eventually, Heyman called off Cesaro and brought him back up the ramp as referees also intervened.

AJ Lee defeated Eva Maria via submission in a non-title match. Paige was watching from ringside near the commentators. At one point, Eva tossed AJ out of the ring and the champion came face-to-face with Paige. Back in the ring, AJ jumped up on Eva’s back for a sleeper hold. Raw Results 06/29/14

Raw results from Hartford, CT:

The show opened with The Authority coming to the ring looking pleased despite Cena winning the title last night at MITB. They spoke about Daniel Bryan needing longer than expected to recover, then introduced the new champion. Cena came out and they showed him that he’s on the cover of 2K15. He questioned their fake sincerity. Hunter talked about him being the face of WWE but said he needs to do it with respect. He said if not they can just do it the hard way. Triple H announced Cena will defend the title at WWE Battleground PPV in a Fatal Fourway. Tonight he’ll be in a tag match against two of the opponents, Randy Orton and Kane. Cena will partner with the other opponent, Roman Reigns. Hunter said for Cena to remember that if he survives the Fatal Fourway, there’s always a “plan B.” Out came Seth Rollins with the MITB briefcase. Rollins headed to the ring for the opening match.

Seth Rollins defeated Rob Van Dam via pinfall. The match was almost 12 minutes but saw Rollins hit RVD when he was getting back in the ring after a splash. Rollins twisted RVD’s knee into the ropes, then hit the Curb Stomp on him for the win. Post-match, Renee Young tried to interview Rollins but he took over the mic. He talked about how everyone’s made he was right and won the MITB match. He said now he can cash in anytime, anywhere. Dean Ambrose showed up on the big screen and said he plans to be right nearby every time Rollins tries to cash in that briefcase.

Lana brought Rusev to the ring for another of her pro-Russia speeches. Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger came down with Swagger challenging Rusev saying he can stop the Rusev Crush. Lana told Rusev to back off, but he disobeyed her and rushed Swagger. Swagger took him down with some arm drags, so Rusev fled the ring where Lana chastised him.

The Wyatt Family defeated Sheamus and The Usos via pinfall. Jey Uso made a hot tag in late, then took out Harper to the outside and splashed on him. Back in the ring, Jey ducked Harper’s strike attempt and kicked him. A brawl broke out with all competitors in the action and Harper ultimately hitting a big clothesline on Jey for the pin.

Bo Dallas came out to the ring to have a moment of silence for two superstars unable to compete right now: Bad News Barrett and Daniel Bryan. He kneeled down in the ring with a spotlight on him for a while then got up smiling. He said he was the one who tried to inspire Daniel Bryan last night. They showed a clip of Bo interrupting Bryan during his interview on the MITB pre-show Sunday night with Bryan saying “Bo, Leave.” Nikki Bella’s theme song hit and she came to the ring for a match against both Cameron and Naomi.

Cameron and Naomi defeated Nikki Bella via pinfall. Cameron did a lot of trash talking and mocking Nikki during the match. Eventually, Naomi tagged herself in to win the match and show up her sister. Cameron got in the ring and pushed and shoved Naomi, who shoved her back. A fight almost started, but Cameron walked off.

Cole and the commentators talked about how Swagger hurt Barrett when he threw him into the barricade on Smackdown. Due to that, Barrett’s out for several months with a hurt shoulder, so the IC title is now vacant. There will be a battle royal at Battleground to decide the new champion. Paul Heyman showed up from backstage with Cesaro to say he’ll be the next IC title holder. That set up the next match with Cesaro against Kofi Kingston.

Kofi Kingston defeated Cesaro via pinfall. The match ended during a commercial break with Kofi winning. Post-match, Cesaro staged an attack on Kofi and kept on assaulting him. They showed a replay of Kofi’s win on the WWE App.

Damien Sandow came out to the ring dressed up as Mr. McMahon and mocking him. He said he was officially entering himself into the IC title battle royal at Battleground. Stephanie McMahon appeared on the big screen, angry that Sandow was making fun of her father. She put him in a match against Great Khali next.

Great Khali defeated Sandow via pinfall. A Khali Chop was all that was needed for Khali to get the pin within 6 seconds.

A mysterious limo pulled up backstage but they didn’t show who was inside. Lawler talked up the person's accomplishments in a few words but didn't give it away.

After commercial break, The Miz was introduced and came out dressed as a Hollywood Superstar. He wore a scarf, sunglasses and white suit and talked about how he couldn’t leave the WWE Universe. He said they didn’t realize the A-List Talent he is, so he needs to show them, and he won’t stop until he headlines Wrestlemania again.

Chris Jericho’s pyro went off and out came Jericho for his WWE return. He got in the ring, upsetting Miz, who asked if he knows how important he is. Miz rattled off all his various accomplishments, but Jericho soon hit a Codebreaker on him to shut him up. Jericho got on the mic and gave his “Welcome, to Raw, is, Jericho!” line, but got cut off with the Wyatt sounder. The Wyatts appeared in the ring to surround him. Jericho tried to fight them off but couldn’t. Eventually, Bray hit Sister Abigail to leave Jericho on the mat.

Dolph Ziggler defeated Fandago via pinfall. They showed via WWE app that Summer Rae and Layla called for a truce. Fandango got control of things early on, and got a kiss from Layla on the apron. At one point, Summer Rae got into the ring and started to kiss Ziggler, distressing Fandango at the scene. Fandango asked “Summer, what are you doing?” The distraction allowed Ziggler to pounce on Fandango with the Zig Zag for the win. Post-match, Layla looked annoyed at both Summer and Fandango over what just happened.

Goldust & Stardust defeated Rybaxel via pinfall. Late in the match, Ryback tried for the Meathook Clothesline on Goldust but he ducked it and tagged Stardust. Stardust was able to avoid Axel’s strike attempt when he came in. He cleared Ryback then hit a swinging face plant to get the pin on Axel.

Paige came out to cut a promo how nobody believed she could hold her own as the divas champion, but she’s more than proven herself in the past three months. Suddenly, her promo was cut short when AJ Lee’s music hit. AJ came out on stage and skipped around the ring before getting in to talk to Paige. She told her she did what no other woman in almost a year could by defeating her. She said she gave her a slap of reality that she needed. AJ set up a challenge for the title, and Paige said she didn’t think anyone wanted to see her defend the title tonight, but the crowd insisted, so the ref called for the bell.

AJ Lee defeated Paige via pinfall to become new Divas champion. The match lasted just over a minute, with AJ able to score a quick rollup pinfall out of nowhere for the win. Paige was shocked at the result, as AJ pranced around with the title in hand, celebrating her win.

Triple H of The Authority came down to ringside to watch the main event tag team match as a preview of the Battleground Fatal Fourway match.

John Cena and Roman Reigns won due to disqualification against Randy Orton and Kane. Late in the match, Cena was ready to hit the AA on Kane, but Orton snuck in and hit the RKO on Cena. Reigns cleared Orton of there and then hit a Superman Punch on Kane. Orton and Reigns started fighting up the ramp to the back. Kane started to decimate Cena and threw him into the ring steps, then took the steps apart to smash Cena with. The ref called for the bell.

Post-match, Kane hit a Tombstone Piledriver after a nearby Triple H told him “Finish him.” HHH smiled at the scene seeing Cena laid out in the ring. He and a medic checked on Cena post-match, with HHH waving towards the back. Rollins came out with the MITB briefcase in hand. He looked at Cena laying on the mat then handed the briefcase to the ref. However, the ref was too slow to start a match, and Dean Ambrose came running in, chasing Rollins away to fight him in the crowd. HHH still had the briefcase in hand.

Hunter yelled at the ref calling him an idiot, as Kane tried to find more weapons to destroy Cena with. Suddenly, Roman Reigns came in and hit a big spear to take down Kane right in front of HHH. The two had a stare down, but Triple H left the ring and continued to glare at Reigns. The Shield theme song kept playing as Reigns stared back at HHH before Raw went off the air.

Raw Results 10/07/13

Raw Results from Pittsburgh, PA:

They opened talking about the controversial end to Battleground involving Big Show interfering in and preventing the WWE title match from finishing.  Stephanie McMahon started off Raw coming to the ring to say how the PPV's main event was ruined, and now fans are angry and she's angry.  She called out Big Show and humiliated him in the ring in front of the fans, blaming him for last night's issues, and saying she and HHH have helped him financially.

Stephanie ordered Show to get on his knees and beg the fans for forgiveness.  Show refused to do it and talked about how she told him to KO Orton last night.  Stephanie reminded Show she wasn't even there.  He called Triple H a "son of a b" and Stephanie slapped him twice.  Show smiled at her, and Stephanie slapped him several more times.  Stephanie fired him on the spot, and Big Show yelled before leaving the ring.

Dolph Ziggler defeated Damien Sandow via pinfall.  Late in the match, Ziggler went for a sleeper hold with Sandow blocking.  Ziggler went up to the top rope moments later, but Sandow knocked him down.  Out of nowhere after some offense was exchanged, Ziggler hit the Fameasser for the big win.

Backstage, Stephanie yelled at Brad Maddox over all the problems with Battleground including a power outage, the Rhodes family winning, and the main event getting ruined.  Maddox tried to bring up Triple H for something, but Stephanie cut him off saying HHH has been trying to fix things all day.  She asked Maddox if he made the "arrangements" and he said yes.  Stephanie told him to go out to the ring and apologize, then explain how he's going to make this up to the WWE Universe.

Eva Marie, Jo Jo and Natalya defeated Aksana, Rosa Mendes and Alicia Fox via submission.  Natalya put the Sharpshooter on Alicia Fox to get the win.  Post-match, the "Total Divas" girls celebrated their victory.

GM Brad Maddox came out on stage and gave his apologies to the fans for Battleground's issues last night.  He said that Daniel Bryan will face Randy Orton at Hell in a Cell for the WWE title.  Fans will vote on the special referee for the match.  Maddox announced option number one is Booker T.  Other candidates will be announced later on Raw.

Los Matadores defeated Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal of 3MB via pinfall.  Late in the match, Drew was in control, but the Matadores made a comeback, using double team moves for an eventual pinfall win.  Post-match, Heath Slater tried to chase El Torito around, but it did a top rope hurricanrana to take him down.

Paul Heyman was in the ring with Ryback and Curtis Axel for a speech about Battleground.  Heyman bragged first about beating CM Punk in a match, then talked about what happened at Battleground.  He called Punk a "bully and a cheater."  They showed a still shot of Punk hitting a low blow on Ryback during their match to get the win.  Heyman shook his head about it, and then Punk's music hit to bring him out.

From the stage, Punk said all he did last night was win.  He said he kicked Ryback in the balls to see if he had any.  Heyman told Punk he'll never get the chance to do that again.  Punk said if that's a challenge for a rematch, he accepts.  Punk tells them that's what they get for picking on someone smarter than they are.  Heyman tells Ryback to do something about it.  Ryback calls Punk a bully and taunts him to come to the ring.  Punk looks to the fans who are chanting for him.  R-Truth's music comes on and he comes out to the stage with Punk to head to the ring.

CM Punk & R-Truth defeated Curtis Axel & Ryback via pinfall.  The close saw Punk hit a big elbow drop off the top rope on Axel.  He followed with GTS and connected.  Ryback ran in to try to help, but got sent back out.  Punk tagged in Truth, who came in and hit his scissors kick to finish off Axel.

Bob Backlund was introduced as another potential special referee for the Hell in a Cell match (Bryan vs. Orton).

Randy Orton defeated Kofi Kingston via pinfall.  The close saw these two fighting out on the floor.  Orton hit a huge clothesline, then threw Kofi into a crowd barrier, before dropping him on top of it.  Orton hit his draping DDT with Kofi on top of the barrier.  He brought Kofi back in the ring and hit the RKO to get the win.  Post-match, Daniel Bryan rushed out to attack Orton.  WWE staff tried to break things up.  Orton started heading backstage with Bryan chasing him.

Backstage, Vickie Guerrero was yelling at a WWE staff member when Alberto Del Rio walked up.  He asked if she was going to make him the "new face of the WWE" since he's the only major champion now.  He said he was hoping to have the night off after taking out RVD during their match last night, but understands that the people need to see him.  He kissed up to Vickie some, before giving his scarf to her and kissing her on the cheek.

Shawn Michaels came out to the stage to a roar from the fans.  He talked about why they should vote for him on the WWE app to be special referee at Hell in a Cell.  He said he trained Bryan and doesn't like Orton, but won't let those things interfere.  He said he'll make sure there's a new WWE champion and doesn't care what's best for business, but what's best for the fans.

Ricardo Rodriguez defeated Alberto Del Rio in a non-title match. Vickie brought Ricardo out as the opponent and he looked upset about being forced into the match.  The bell rang and Vickie made another announcement, letting Del Rio know that John Cena will be his opponent at the Hell in a Cell PPV.  Del Rio was stunned by the news, and Rodriguez took advantage, snagging a quick rollup pinfall.  Vickie laughed at Del Rio post match, as Ricardo posed up on top of the announcers table.  Del Rio attacked Ricardo and started to beat him up.  He put a chair around Ricardo's arm and stomped on it multiple times.  Referees had to hold Del Rio off and then checked on Rodriguez.

Fandango defeated Zack Ryder via pinfall.  During the late part of this one, Fandango and Ryder fought on the outside.  Ryder brought things back in the ring, but Fandango retreated to the apron, before making a comeback.  He eventually hit the big leg drop off the corner on Ryder for the win.

The WWE App voting results were announced with Shawn Michaels voted as special referee for Orton vs. Bryan at Hell in a Cell PPV.

The Real Americans defeated Great Khali and Santino Marella via pinfall.  In a rematch from Battleground, Cesaro once again got the spinning move to toss Khali around, before collecting the pinfall on him, just like at the PPV.

The Shield defeated Daniel Bryan, Cody Rhodes & Goldust via pinfall in a no disqualification match.  The match was originally fought under normal rules, until Dean Ambrose ran in to the ring with a steel chair as Daniel Bryan had the Yes Lock on Rollins.  HHH interrupted the decision announcement and said he was having the match restarted as a No DQ.

After the bell, Bryan and Rollins resumed their fighting in the ring.  Reigns and Ambrose started to doubleteam Goldust on the outside floor, so Bryan did his leaping suicide dive out onto them to break it up.  Suddenly, Randy Orton appeared and got involved, hitting an RKO on Bryan outside the ring.  He rolled Bryan back into the ring and Rollins made the pinfall cover for the win.

Post-match, Triple H gave a signal to The Shield and they began their beatdown on Cody and Goldust.  All of a sudden, Big Show's music hit and came down towards the ring.  A worried HHH got in the ring to hide behind The Shield.  Show got in the ring with Shield going after him.  He fought off Shield for a bit, before staring down HHH.  Shield managed to get Show down, so Triple H took off his jacket and told them to hold Show in place. Show pushed away The Shield members, then was right in HHH's face.  Show delivered the KO punch to knock out Triple H, leaving him down on the mat.  He left the ring and headed up the ramp.  Daniel Bryan got on his feet to lead "YES!" chants with the fans.  Big Show's music played as Bryan mocked HHH in the ring before Raw ended.
