Raw Preview 07/12/10
After last week's truce between John Cena and Wade Barrett didn't go down as planned, John Cena took out his frustrations on Darren Young. That choice resulted in serious consequences for the former WWE Champion. The anonymous Raw General Manager informed Cena that he would have to face Nexus in a 7-on-1 handicap match on tonight's episode. Cena continued to beat up Darren Young around the ring, and while he may have sent him a message, he's got six others to contend with tonight. Will Cena be able to respond to the challenge, or will Nexus once again give Cena a beatdown?
With the 2010 Money in the Bank PPV less than a week away, Raw superstars will be looking to get themselves prepared. One match in particular will be the Raw MITB ladder match. Currently there are seven competitors for the match: John Morrison, Randy Orton, Edge, Chris Jericho, Ted Dibiase, The Miz and Evan Bourne. After The Miz injured R-Truth on last week's Raw, there remains one spot left for the MITB match. Will another competitor qualify on tonight's show, or will the spot still be a mystery for Sunday's PPV?
The tag team known as The Usos is also preparing for the upcoming Pay-Per-View event where they will see their first title match. The Usos will be challenging The Hart Dynasty for the Unified Tag Team titles. After weeks of run-ins between the two teams, both will be looking to gain an advantage tonight. How will these two teams prepare themselves for the MITB PPV?
Catch Raw tonight at 9PM EST on USA for all the action heading into Sunday's Money in the Bank PPV!
