Raw Preview 09/20/10

With Sunday's Night of Champions results now official, the followup and fallout on Raw should be quite interesting. Tonight, WWE Raw will usher in a brand new champion, as the age of Orton officially begins! That's right, last night it was The Viper outlasting his five competitors in the ring to become the WWE Champion. Despite attempted distraction from Nexus, Wade Barrett couldn't get it done, and the champion Sheamus eventually fell victim to the RKO. Will Sheamus challenge for his rematch on tonight's Raw? What will Orton have to say regarding his victory?

Also at the Pay-Per-View, The Miz put his United States title on the line against his former NXT rookie, Daniel Bryan. Bryan had promised to make The Miz tap out to the Labelle Lock at Night of Champions, and did just that. After a tough matchup with his former mentor, Bryan managed to lock the hold onto The Miz and made him tap. Now Bryan has captured WWE gold early into his WWE career. Surely The Miz will want a rematch as soon as possible? Or will The Miz be focused on cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase for a shot at a bigger title?

Two other champions from Raw saw their belts change hands as well. In one match, Melina lost to Michelle McCool in the Divas/Womens Championship unification. McCool lost after interference from McCool's BFF Layla, taking away the divas title from Melina. Meanwhile, The Hart Dynasty were forced to compete in a Gauntlet Style "Tag Team Turmoil Match" with four other teams. In the opening match they were pinned by The Usos. However, in the end it was Drew McIntyre and Cody Rhodes winning the tag team titles. Will The Hart Dynasty get their rematch on Raw, Smackdown or elsewhere?
