Smackdown opened with video highlights of Mark Henry as he destroyed Big Show and Kane in previous weeks. Footage was shown from last week when Sheamus came out to accept a fight against Makr Henry. That has lead to Sheamus vs Mark Henry for Summerslam 2011.

Sheamus defeated The Great Khali in singles action.

Backstage, Josh Matthews interviewed Randy Orton. Orton said he has anger management issues but believes Christian will help him work through them at Summerslam.

Natalya defeated AJ in a match, and then continued to attack her post-match. She got on the mic and said she agrees with Beth Phoenix's philosophy.

Daniel Bryan defeated Tyson Kidd by submission with the LeBell Lock. Wade Barrett was on commentary for the match.

Zack Ryder hosted a new talk show segment, with the Intercontinental Champion Ezekiel Jackson arriving out to interrupt. Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase came out to interrupt too. Smackdown GM Teddy Long arrived out to the stage and told Zack Ryder he'll go one-on-one against Ezekiel Jackson, next.

Ezekiel Jackson defeated Zack Ryder by submission with the Torture Rack.

Mark Henry defeated Vladimir Kozlov and then goes on one of his rampages after the match. Sheamus rushes out to make a save.

David Otunga, Michael McGillicutty and JTG defeated The Usos & Trent Barreta by pinfall.

World Heavyweight Champion Christian and R-Truth defeated Randy Orton and John Morrison by pinfall. Christian made the winning pinfall on Orton.
