Smackdown Preview 04.18.08

For weeks now, Smackdown GM Vickie Guerrero and her boyfriend Edge have been resting and relaxing, to alleviate the stress of losing the World Heavyweight Title at Wrestlemania. While they've been resting, Vickie has been doing her best to schedule the Undertaker in grueling matches to make sure he is worn down for Backlash. In the past few weeks, Undertaker has faced his own brother, Kane, and the enigmatic Festus. Tonight Vickie has scheduled him to face a very familiar foe and fierce competitor, the Animal Batista. The last time these two faced off was a Hell in the Cell match at Survivor Series 2007. Batista got the win in the grueling match there, but now that Taker is the champ, who will reign supreme in this rematch?

Before Batista even gets into the ring with Undertaker, he'll be Chris Jericho's guest on "The Highlight Reel" to start off Smackdown. What will Batista have to say about his future opponent for Backlash, Shawn Michaels? Will Chris Jericho say something to upset the Animal just like he upset Shawn Michaels?

Big Show and Mark Henry will also do battle on SmackDown. Last Friday, Big Show knocked out The Great Khali with a solid punch after the Punjabi giant tried a Peace Offering. Tonight Show gets to face "The World's Strongest Man". Who will prevail in this battle of behemoths?

Natalya Neidhart is now a part of the Smackdown divas and she's already made several statements, with her actions speaking loudly. Last week on SmackDown, Natalya distracted McCool, causing her to lose to Victoria. What will the rest of the Divas have to say or do about Natalya?
