Smackdown 12/31/10 Results:

Tonight's episode opened with Vickie Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler talking about the match last week against John Cena. Kofi Kingston and Jack Swagger arrived out. Both men wanted a rematch of the TLC IC title match. Smackdown GM Teddy Long arrived out and ordered a triple threat IC title match for later on in the night.

The Big Show defeated Cody Rhodes due to countout after Rhodes left the match.

Drew McIntyre defeated Trent Baretta due to referee's decision. The ref stopped the match after Trent missed a suicide dive on the outside. Post-match, McIntyre hit the Future Shock DDT on Baretta on the outside.

Edge & Rey Mysterio defeated Kane & Alberto Del Rio via pinfall. Mysterio hit a 619 on Del Rio, then Edge hit the Spear to get the win.

In divas tag action, Beth Phoenix & Natalya defeated Team Lay-Cool. Beth hit the GlamSlam on McCool for the pinfall win.

Dolph Ziggler won a Triple Threat match against Kofi Kingston and Jack Swagger to retain the Intercontinental title. Kofi hit Trouble in Paradise on Swagger, but then Ziggler took advantage with a rollup pin on Kofi to steal the win.

They announced that on the first Smackdown episode of 2011, Kane will face Edge in a Last Man Standing Match. Also, Alberto Del Rio and Rey Mysterio will fight in a 2 out of 3 Falls Match.
