Welcome to the 2010 TLC Pay-Per-View results page provided by WWE Characters the Blog. Starting Sunday, December 19th at 8PM EST you'll find updated results from the WWE's TLC 2010 PPV below. There's a lot on the line tonight as tables, ladders and chairs will be in play during the various matches. Superstars will find themselves broken, battered and bruised, while titles and pride will be on the line!
This will be the WWE's final Pay-Per-View event of 2010. Featured in tonight's matches will be John Cena, Randy Orton, The Miz, Wade Barrett, Rey Mysterio, Alberto Del Rio, Edge, Kane and WWE Divas!

Kofi Kingston vs. Jack Swagger vs Dolph Ziggler
The first one to set up a ladder in the ring, climb to the top and retrieve the hanging IC title belt will be the Intercontinental Champ!
In the closing moments, Jack Swagger and Kofi Kingston were battling for the hanging championship belt. The belt fell from their grasp to the mat where Dolph Ziggler grabbed it. Ziggler retains the IC title!
Winner: Dolph Ziggler wins the Triple Threat ladder match to retain the Intercontinental title.
Beth Phoenix & Natalya vs. Team Lay-Cool
A first for the divas, this match will allow tables as weapons. The winning team will be the first to smash their opponents through a wooden table!
It was Natalya getting some sweet revenge on both members of Lay-Cool in this one, as she was able to execute a double Sharpshooter on LayCool. For the finish, Natalya hit a big splash from the top rope on Layla and Michelle to smash them through the table!
Winner: Natalya & Beth Phoenix win the tables match against Lay-Cool.
Justin Gabriel & Heath Slater vs. Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov
In the closing moments of this one, Nexus members Slater & Gabriel received the DQ decision, giving the win the Marella & Kozlov. Nexus leader Wade Barrett arrived out with a steel chair to smash both Kozlov and Santino before Nexus left the ring.
Winners: Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov win due to DQ by Nexus.
John Morrison vs. Sheamus
The first one to set up a ladder in the ring, climb it and retrieve a hanging contract, becomes #1 contender for the WWE Championship!
In the closing moments, an amazing spot happened when Morrison shoved Sheamus flying off a ladder, with Sheamus crashing through and breaking a ladder on the outside. In the finish, Morrison delivered a kick strike to Sheamus then climbed the ladder to yank down the contract!
Winner: John Morrison wins the ladder match against Sheamus to become the new #1 Contender for the WWE Title.
Randy Orton vs. The Miz
First one to smash their opponent through a wooden table will be WWE Champion!
The referee got knocked out at one point in this frantic tables match over the WWE Title. Orton managed to Powerbomb Alex Riley through a table, but the Miz grabbed Orton and hit Skullcrushing finale on him on the smashed table. Miz got the ref woken up to see Orton layed out, causing the ref to call for the bell. However, after a replay was shown, the referee had the match restarted!
On the restart, Miz was eventually able to toss his protege Alex Riley off the apron towards Orton, causing Orton to crash through a table and lose the match!
Winner: The Miz wins the tables match against Randy Orton to retain the WWE Title.
Edge vs. Alberto Del Rio vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Kane
Tables ladders and chairs are all legal in this matchup. Smackdown GM Theodore Long recently changed this to a Fatal Fourway, adding Alberto Del Rio and Mysterio to the match. He also noted that if Kane doesn't show up for the match, it will be a Triple Threat for the title.
Towards the end of the match, Del Rio got smashed through a table leaving him KO'd. Rey Mysterio got the Tombstone treatment. Edge hit the Spear on Kane, leaving Edge the only guy left to climb the ladder and grab the World Championship belt!
Winner: Edge wins the TLC match to become the new World Heavyweight Champion!
A time-filler segment came to the ring involving Cody Rhodes coming out to give grooming tips and insult the Houston crowd. Some rock music hit to interrupt and a very large Santa Claus came out with the Bella Twins. Santa and Rhodes quipped back and forth. Ultimately Big Show as Santa tore off Rhodes clothes to reveal his wrestling trunks, causing Rhodes to leave the ring embarrassed.
John Cena vs. Wade Barrett
Chairs are fully legal in this match! Throughout the night, Cena had been taking out the other members of Nexus with chair shots. He took out Husky Harris backstage as the last one. That left the leader Wade Barrett as the last guy standing for this main event matchup.
CM Punk arrived out to do commentary on this main event Raw matchup. Towards the end of this one Cena was able to block Barrett's attempts at offense. At one point, Cena was able to grab Barrett and hit him with the Attitude Adjustment on six lined up chairs to finish the match.
Post-match, Cena got even more revenge, when he pulled down a string which caused about ten chairs to come crashing down on Barrett. Cena hit multiple chair shots on the Nexus leader to conclude his revenge on his former evil boss.
Winner: John Cena wins the chairs match against Wade Barrett.
