WWE TLC PPV Matches 2010

The final World Wrestling Entertainment Pay-Per-View for 2010 will be WWE's TLC PPV, scheduled for Sunday, December 19, 2010. This latest sports entertainment event features both the World Heavyweight and WWE Titles on the line in matches with special stipulations. Most of the card's matches feature either tables, ladders, chairs, or all three in play. Here's a look at each of the matches with some of the buildup involved in them.

Randy Orton vs The Miz
Tables Match

Simple rules here: smash your opponent through a wooden table and you win. Sheamus was able to win the WWE Title from John Cena last year by pushing him off the corner area through a table. Now The Miz will have his first PPV title defense, with Orton getting his rematch. The Viper seems ready to kill the "Era of Awesomeness" but he may have to contend with Alex Riley and Michael Cole on the outside. Can the Apex Predator handle all the pressure and reclaim his title, or will The Miz continue his reign into 2011?

Rey Mysterio vs. Alberto Del Rio
Chairs Match

In this match, steel chairs count as a potential weapon to bash your opponent with. Del Rio has used the chair on Mysterio before to injure his arm and shoulder, putting the Master of the 619 out of action for weeks. The two have continued battling in a feud for weeks on Smackdown, but will it finally culminate in one man's victory at TLC? Who will stand tall, Del Rio Or Mysterio?

Edge vs. Kane
World Heavyweight Title TLC Match

The Rated R-Superstar has been playing mindgames for weeks with the Big Red Monster, Kane. Kane currently holds the World Heavyweight Title and during their last PPV title fight, there was a double pinfall, leading to an unusual tie ending. With that in mind, Edge needed to further infuriate Kane by continuing to dangle Paul Bearer around him until Kane finally granted Edge another title match. The two fought in a main event Smackdown bout with the winner determining the match stipulation. Since Edge won, he brought everything into play. This will be the Tables, Ladders & Chairs match where all weapons will be legal. Edge has participated in plenty of TLC matches throughout his career, but Kane is one tough monstrous opponent. Will Edge finally have the opportunity to capture the World Title once again, or will Kane continue his demonic reign?
