WWE Tribute to the Troops 2010 Results:

WWE aired its Tribute to the Troops 2010 special on NBC at 9PM EST, with the pre-recorded show from Fort Hood, Texas.

The special opened with a message from President Barack Obama to thank all of the United States troops for their service. A video package noted that the WWE has gone around the globe for 20 years to lift the spirits of our troops. Tonight's show will also include celebrities: Trace Adkins, Cedric the Entertainer, Miss USA Rima Fakih, Sherri Shepherd and Diddy-Dirty Money.

Michael Cole opened the show on commentary with a shot of the Fort Hood, Texas crowd and ring set. Jerry Lawler was also on hand to say they estimated a crowd of 50,000 in attendance. Justin Roberts introduced Diddy-Dirty Money to give a performance of the song "Coming Home" from the new album "Last Train to Paris." After performing, Diddy gave his thanks to the troops, saying after being around them today it connected with him. Diddy said thank you and he loves them all for what they're doing.

A special pre-recorded video message was shown from Taylor Swift thanking the troops, wishing them happy holidays and saying she loves them all so much.




WWE Diva Kelly Kelly welcomed fans back to the show, dressed in her festive Santa's helper costume.

Kofi Kingston & Big Show vs. Jack Swagger & Dolph Ziggler

Justin Roberts introduced Miss USA Rima Fakih as special guest announcer for the match. Michael Cole noted that Ziggler will defend the IC title against Swagger and Kofi at Sunday's TLC Pay-Per-View. Show got the early chest slaps on Ziggler and dropped him to the mat, then stood on him with both feet. Kofi soon tagged in and did a leg drop over the top rope onto Ziggler for the near fall. Kofi managed to continue with momentum as he flipped Ziggler across the ring. Dolph continued to take punishment, but Swagger helped by grabbing Kofi's foot near the apron with the ref distracted.

Big Show got back in the ring to take down both Ziggler and Swagger. Soon Kofi took Ziggler over the top rope to the outside, allowing Show to chokeslam Swagger down for the pinfall victory.

Winners: Big Show & Kofi Kingston win via pinfall over Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger.

A pre-recorded message was shown from US Olympic gold medalist Lindsey Vonn.




A special pre-recorded message from Kobe Bryant was shown.

They showed from earlier in the day when Sherri Shepherd and Hornswoggle were tossing out gifts to the crowd.

Country singer Trace Adkins performed his song "Whoop a Man's Ass."




A special pre-recorded message from former President George W. Bush was shown. Bush said the thing he misses most about being president is being commander-in-chief of the finest military troops in the world. Bush gave his thanks to the troops and mentioned how WWE has helped entertain the troops for years now.

From earlier in the day, Justin Roberts introduced comedian Cedric the Entertainer. Cedric told some jokes about the holidays for a bit to entertain the troops. The Raw theme song played as Cedric left the stage.

Rey Mysterio made his entrance for a tag team match. Next out was Randy Orton, followed by John Cena.

Several cast members from 30 Rock wished the troops a Happy Holiday season prior to a commercial break.




WWE Diva Eve Torres was ringside in her Santas helper costume to welcome fans back to the show. Wade Barrett made his entrance, and then Alberto Del Rio drove a Rolls Royce out near the ramp to make his entrance. Finally, WWE Champion The Miz made his entrance for the six man tag match. Alex Riley arrived out holding the Money in the Bank briefcase. Michael Cole bragged about all of Miz's appearances this past week including Jimmy Kimmel, TMZ and Fox News. Lawler reminded fans that Miz will defend the title in a tables match against Orton on Sunday.

Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton & John Cena vs. Alberto Del Rio, The Miz & Wade Barrett

Cena started the match off fast against The Miz with a quick takedown. Miz soon gained the advantage then tagged in Del Rio to beat on Cena some more. He tagged in Barrett who tried to punish Cena more. Cena and Barrett ended up taking each other down with a double clothesline. Randy Orton soon tagged in and was able to gain control against Barrett, including a DDT from the middle ropes. Orton went for the RKO with Barrett shoving him towards the corner. Orton fought off Miz and Del Rio, but as he turned to go at Barrett he ate a huge boot.

Barrett gained control of Orton, then tagged in Miz to work on Orton some more. Orton managed to take down Miz and tagged in Mysterio. Rey had a flying crossbody off the ropes for a near fall. Rey had Miz set up for a 619, but Alex Riley yanked Mysterio out of the ring as he was going for it. Wade Barrett rammed Rey into the apron outside the ring as they went to commercials.

After the break, Barrett took Mysterio down to the mat, continuing the heels' control of the match. Barrett hit a huge backbreaker on Rey with a near fall. Rey escaped it though. He tried to get over for a tag, but Wade grabbed his leg to stop him, then tagged in Del Rio. Mysterio managed to roll through a Del Rio move and kicked him in the head. Del Rio cut off another tag attempt from Mysterio then took him down again.

Later, Rey blocked a superplex attempt from Barrett on the corner then managed to take him down. Rey finally made the hot tag to Cena who came in with multiple takedowns on Del Rio. Cena dropped him to the mat, then hit a Five Knuckle Shuffle. Del Rio almost got hit by the AA, but Miz came in to kick Cena. Orton came in and dropped Miz then prepared for the RKO, but Alex Riley pulled him out of the ring for the save. Barrett came in with Orton arriving in to fight him off. Eventually Cena sent Del Rio and Barrett into the ropes for a 619 from Rey. Orton hit the RKO on Barrett. As Del Rio staggered back, Cena hit him with the Attitude Adjustment for the win.

Post-match, Cena, Orton and Rey all posed in the ring for the troops. WWE showed a sidebar of all of tonight's music including the songs performed by Trace Adkins and Diddy-Dirty Money.

Winners: John Cena, Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio win via pinfall over Alberto Del Rio, Wade Barrett & The Miz.

They showed highlights from the WWE Superstars and Divas visiting the troops in Fort Hood, Texas. Featured with the troops in the clips were John Cena, Kelly Kelly, The Miz and others.
