Here are the abbreviated results from Friday's episode of Smackdown featuring Edge & Rey Mysterio versus Kane & Alberto Del Rio in a tag match.

Kaval vs. Jack Swagger

During the match, Kaval suffered a leg injury which hobbled him. Eventually, Swagger managed to slap the Anklelock on to make Kaval tap out. Swagger cut a promo post-match about how Kofi didn't deserve to become #1 contender for the IC title by beating him last week.

Winner: Jack Swagger wins via submission over Kaval.

Hornswoggle vs. Soaring Eagle Mascot

Hornswoggle used birdseed early on to distract the eagle, then tried to eat the eagle. The eagle knocked down Hornswoggle but missed on a Ballin' Elbow attempt. Horney got the win by using the Tadpole Splash.

Winner: Hornswoggle wins via pinfall over Soaring Eagle Mascot.

Kofi Kignston vs. Dolph Ziggler
Intercontinental Title Match

Kofi just about how the match won with a pinfall, but Jack Swagger arrived out. Swagger interfered and put Kofi into an Anklelock to cause a DQ. Ziggler retains the IC title.

Winner: Kofi Kingston wins due to DQ over Dolph Ziggler.

Masterlock Challenge

Cody Rhodes tried the challenge on tonight's show. He cleaned off the seat then put on hand sanitizer. Rhodes made an attempt to file Chris Masters' nails, but Masters touched Cody's face. When Rhodes began to freak out, Masters slapped the Masterlock on to make Rhodes pass out.

Winner: Cody Rhodes loses the Masterlock Challenge.

Santino & Kozlov vs. Chavo & McIntyre

Chavo had challenged the new champs earlier in the show to a non-title matchup. McIntyre had things in control for his team, but Chavo made a blind tag at one point. He missed on a Frog Splash attempt, so Santino hit him with the Cobra. After the loss, Drew McIntyre hit Chavo with the FutureShock DDT.

Winners: Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov win via pinfall over Chavo & Drew McIntyre.

Natalya vs. Layla

Beth Phoenix and Michelle McCool were ringside to root on their respective diva pals. Layla was able to gain an advantage after Michelle distracted Natalya ringside. There was a double clothesline, and eventually Natalya put Layla into the Sharpshooter.

Winner: Natalya wins via submission over Layla.

Edge & Mysterio vs. Del Rio & Kane

Kane wasn't out for the start of the match. Smackdown GM Teddy Long made it a handicap match with Del Rio against Mysterio & Edge. Del Rio was eventually knocked out of the ring after several double teams. Kane finally arrived out, and he and Edge found outside to the backstage area. It became Rey vs Del Rio.

They showed backstage where Kane thought he saw another dummy set up by Edge on a ledge. Kane knocked the "dummy" off, but it was actually Paul Bearer, causing him to plummet. Meanwhile, Rey Mysterio managed to defeat Del Rio using a 619 to end Smackdown.

Winners: Edge & Mysterio win via pinfall over Del Rio & Kane.
