WWE Superstars Results 06/16/11

WWE Superstars Results 06/16/11:

The latest episode of Superstars opened with Scott Stanford on commentary. He announced a main event of Kane versus Tyson Kidd, questioning who would represent Kidd as his latest manager. Zack Ryder came out to open the show with a big pop in his hometown of Long Island.

Zack Ryder vs. Primo

Ryder got on the mic saying everyone was there to see him there this week. Ryder pointed out his Bro-ski's were there, his dad and his girlfriend, looking hot as hell. He asked who wanted to be "Bro-ski of the week." Stanford noted that Primo and Zack used to be tag partners but no more.

Primo had control after break, but as he whipped Zack to the corner, Ryder rushed back at him with a huge clothesline Ryder now had the momentum and hit a flapjack, then signaled for a huge legdrop. He followed with a Broski boot in the corner for another nearfall. Ryder looked shocked that Primo wouldn't stay down. Primo got a jawbreaker in then went for the Backstabber. Zack held the ropes to shake Primo off, then followed with the Rough Ryder for the win. He got a huge cheer from the home crowd.

Winner: Zack Ryder wins via pinfall over Primo.

Stanford said we're 3 days away from Capitol Punishment. He and Matthews pondered what sorts of questions President Obama would get from the WWE Superstars about the PPV. They rolled the clip from Raw featuring Christian, Cody Rhodes, Sheamus, Great Khali and Hornswoggle as members of the media.

Vladimir Kozlov vs. Drew McIntyre

McIntyre arrived out on the ramp with a microphone. He asked the crowd how many of them were chosen by their boss to be the future of their companies. Drew asked a guy in the front row on the way down the ramp but before he could answer he pulled the mic away and yelled "Liar!" Drew said he's the only chosen one, then began to call the US the United States of Laziness and Lies. Drew said he's going to do some choosing of his own, he's going to become the monster they made him: "Drew McIntyre the Great American Nightmare."

In this one, Drew had the early advantage as he worked on Kozlov in the corner. Kozlov made a comeback and used multiple suplexes around the ring on Drew. Drew landed a huge kick to Kozlov's head, then worked on his arms a bit. Vlad made another comeback, with continuous kicks. Drew took out Kozlov's legs though and from there was able to hit the Future Shock DDT.

Winner: Drew McIntyre wins via pinfall over Vladimir Kozlov.

Yoshi Tatus vs. Chavo Guerrero

In the early going, Yoshi had a series of arm drags until Chavo backed him into the corner. Chavo beat down on Yoshi in the corner before running across the ring to hit a rolling senton move.

Later, Yoshi made his comeback with chopes and kick combos. Yoshi missed a high risk love from the top, so Chavo took advantage. After landing a dropkick on Tatsu, Chavo went for Tres Amigos suplexes. He got two of them, but Tatsu prevented a third and hit his Buzzsaw kick to win by pinfall.

Winner: Yoshi Tatsu wins via pinfall over Chavo Guerrero.

The announce team talked about the upcoming WWE Capitol Punishment PPV card.

JTG came out to the arena with a microphone. He called Rhode Island a "city of haters." JTG talked about having hunger, then said he's the flyest superstar around. He said soon he'll be flyest manager in the WWE. Tyson Kidd made his entrance for the main event matchup, with JTG as this week's manager.

Kane vs Tyson Kidd

Early on, the Big Red Monster started tossing Kidd across the ring. Kidd went for an Irish whip with Kane tossing Tyson out on the floor. Tyson got one move in as he got back in the ring, but was soon hit by Kane's uppercut.

Later, Tyson Kidd tried to mount a comeback. He went for the high risk move with Kane catching him from the air. Kane went for a big slam move, with Kidd turning it into his own tornado DDT. It wasn't enough to keep Kane down. He soon came back to hit a sidewalk slam on Kidd, followed by his flying clothesline from the corner. Kane finished Kidd off with the trademark chokeslam for the win.

Winner: Kane wins via pinfall over Tyson Kidd.
