MVP vs. Vance Archer

Todd Grisham and Matt Striker were now handling commentary as the show shifted to Smackdown's stars. Archer was accompanied to the ring by his buddy Curt Hawkins.

Into the match, MVP had Archer in the corner and went for the running boot kick. Archer moved away and MVP got caught in the corner. Archer tossed him out of the ring as the ref began to warn him. Curt Hawkins rushed over to knock down MVP, then smiled about it at the bottom of the ramp. Just then, JTG rushed down the ramp to take Hawkins down. Archer came out of the ring to beat on JTG. MVP helped out and finally he and JTG got into the ring. Smackdown GM Teddy Long arrived out with a mic and said since everyone wants to fight they'll have a tag match, after the break.

In the late stages of this one, JTG hit the Mugshot on Archer from the corner to plant him face first to the mat. JTG had the pinfall, but Hawkins rushed in to break it up. MVP came in to take Archer to the outside. JTG went to the corner for a move, but Archer came over and got him up on his shoulder. While the ref was dealing with MVP, Hawkins came into the ring and helped pull off a doubleteam finisher that Striker called the "crash course". Hawkins rolled out of the ring and Archer took the winning pinfall.

Winners: Curt Hawkins and Vance Archer win via pinfall over JTG & MVP.
