Raw Results 04/08/13

Raw Results from East Rutherford, NJ:

John Cena came out with the WWE Championship belt to start things off.  Cena talked about enjoying the moment now and his victory celebration despite the fans hating on him.  He joked about a "heel turn" then turned his heel a bit to get the crowd going.  During his speech, he was interrupted by Mark Henry, who told Cena trouble finds you when you ask for it.  Cena tried to book himself and Henry in a title match, but Booker T came out and told Cena he can't go doing that, since Rock gets the rematch.  Booker said Rock isn't there tonight due to injury.  Booker tells Henry he can have a title shot if he can defeat Cena in a match tonight.  Henry tells Cena he better bring his A game, but his jokes won't get him anything other than entered into the Hall of Pain.

Big E Langston defeated Daniel Bryan via pinfall.  Big E won using his Big Ending finisher to pin Bryan, with Kane, Dolph Ziggler, and AJ looking on from ringside.

Wade Barrett defeated The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship by pinfall.  Late in the match, Barrett went up on the corner ring area for a move, but Miz went up after him.  Barrett fought him off and sent Miz crashing down to the mat.  Miz stood up, using the ref to help get up, but Barrett was ready and took him down with the Bullhammer Elbow for the win.

Backstage, Sheamus came in to ask Vickie and Brad Maddox for a match against Big Show.  Vickie granted the match.

After commercial, Booker T was walking backstage when Randy Orton walked up and congratulated him on his Hall of Fame induction.  Orton asked for a favor, saying he wants Big Show tonight.  Booker said Show's already got a match against Sheamus from Vickie.  Orton said Booker can overrule Vickie since he's a real GM.  Booker agreed and set up the match.

Alberto Del Rio defeated Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter in a 2-on-1 Handicap match via submission.  Swagger worked on Del Rio's leg numerous times during the match, and used the Patriot Lock, with Del Rio able to escape it.  Late, Swagger put the move on twice, but Del Rio kicked out of it and put Swagger into the cross armbreaker.  Swagger soon tapped out to end things.

Dolph Ziggler defeated Alberto Del Rio via pinfall for the World Heavyweight Title.  After his win over Swagger, Del Rio was in the corner of the ring trying to recover from all the damage Swagger did on his leg.  Dolph Ziggler's music hit and he came to the ring with AJ and Big E to cash in his briefcase.  Late in their short match, Del Rio managed to put the cross armbreaker on Ziggler.  Ziggler grabbed Del Rio's hurt leg and used it to break the hold.  Moments later he hits Zig Zag and got the pinfall victory, becoming new World Champion.  Post-match, Ziggler celebrated in the ring hugging AJ and Big E Langston.

The Undertaker came out to the ring after a break to talk about how his match and 21st WrestleMania victory last night against CM Punk was a tribute to the late Paul Bearer.  As Taker continued to speak, The Shield's entrance theme song hit and they appeared up in the crowd.  The trio came down to surround the ring, but suddenly Kane's pyro went off, causing The Shield to jump off the apron.  Kane and Bryan rushed to the ring to stand with Taker in the ring.  Shield decides to exit back into the crowd.

Backstage, Josh Matthews spoke with the new champion Dolph Ziggler.  He said he's been good for too damn long, and even though it's the day after, this is his Wrestlemania moment.  He said he's going to shine the title up and show it off, because it's been too damn long.

Santino Marella, R-Truth and Zack Ryder defeated 3MB via pinfall.  Late in this one, Drew came in to face Ryder with Zack hitting a neckbreaker on him.  Santino came in and tried to hit The Cobra, but Drew grabbed his arm.  Santino broke free, then hit the Cobra on Slater to get the pinfall.

They showed Sheamus arguing backstage with Randy Orton.  Sheamus says he's got this, then walked off.

Sheamus came out to the ring and asked the fans who they want to see kick Big Show's ass tonight.  He calls out Vickie, but Orton arrives instead.  They end up having fans vote on Twitter for Big Show's opponent with #WWEOrton or #WWESheamus.  After a commercial break, Orton won with 77% of the vote.

Instead of putting that match on, Vickie came out with Booker T and announced it would be Sheamus vs Orton with the winner facing Big Show.

Sheamus vs. Orton resulted in the match not officially happening.  Big Show came down during their bout and got involved, throwing Sheamus outside the ring and then dismantling Orton.  He threw Orton over the announcers table and left him there with Lawler and officials checking on Orton before break.

Fandango defeated Kofi Kingston due to disqualification.  The crowd hummed Fandango's theme song as he was wrestling.  During the match, Chris Jericho arrived down to get involved.  He threw Fandango face first into the announce table and the steel steps.  Jericho kept beating him up outside the ring and then brought him back in for the Walls of Jericho.  Refs came in to finally get Jericho to break the hold.  Fandango got up, then Jericho hit him with a Codebreaker for more damage before leaving the ring.  After all the carnage, Fandango's dancer gave him a mic and he said his name again but barely.

They showed a recap of all John Cena's recent media appearances, just a day after his WrestleMania win.

Josh Matthews spoke to Paul Heyman backstage.  Heyman said Lesnar is ready for a fight tonight.  He said he doesn't let his client fight for free though.  He brought up Punk vs Undertaker, then said Punk will tell everyone how he feels on next week's Raw.

Tons of Funk defeated Team Rhodes Scholars and Bella Twins via pinfall.  Late in this one, The Bella Twins got taken out of the ring by Funkadactyls.  Clay and Sandow were legal, with Tensai coming in to help out.  He and Clay splashed against Sandow in the middle, then hit a double splash on the mat.  Brodus Clay took the pinfall for the win.

John Cena defeated Mark Henry via countout in a non-title match.  Late in the match, Henry got knocked down by Cena, so he rolled to the outside.  Cena went after him, with Henry gaining control and slamming Cena head first into the announce table.  Henry tore apart the commentators table then kept beating up Cena, sending him against the ringpost.  Cena made a comeback though and sent Henry into the ring post, then got into the ring to beat the 10 count.

Post-match, Henry got in the ring to punish Cena, dropping him with a World's Strongest Slam.  Henry posed with the WWE title, but then Ryback's music hit.  He comes to the ring and began going back and forth with Henry.  Ryback hit a huge spinebuster on Henry, sending him out of the ring.  The fans start a feed me more chant.

Ryback then turned his attention to Cena.  Ryback extended a hand to help Cena up.  Ryback shakes his hand, and then Cena goes in the corner to pose.  Ryback gets the fans to chant once again, then takes down Cena with the Meathook clothesline.  Ryback hit Shellshocked, then tells Cena "up yours," before posing with the WWE belt to close Raw.

More from Matthews & Striker, before they sent it to a video replay of what happened in the bench press contest with Ryback and Mark Henry on SmackDown.

A female interviewer talked to Mark Henry backstage.  Henry talked about Ryback not matching his strength and power but gasping for air.  The interviewer started to ask a question about it being WrestleMania tonight.  Henry interrupted saying tonight will be memorable for Ryback, because tonight he's getting entered into the Hall of Pain.

The Miz vs. Wade Barrett
Intercontinental Championship Match

The Miz was introduced first for the match, followed by Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett. Miz got control early, but Barrett quickly took over after a hard move in the corner. He hit Miz a few times, then slammed him up on the corner to hammer away on him. Miz ran at him then delivered a huge knee to the gut for a near fall.

Miz went for his running knee on Barrett in the corner, but Wade ran forward and caught Miz for Winds of Change to slam him down for a near fall. He went for the Bullhammer Elbow, but Miz ducked it and put on the Figure Four leg lock. Barrett fought to not tap out, then reached to grab the bottom rope and break it. Moments after that, Barrett hit Wasteland with Miz able to barely kick out after 2.

Right after that, Miz took down Barrett and locked on another Figure Four leg lock. This time Barrett had nowhere to go and finally had to tap out. An ecstatic Miz rushed over and jumped on the ropes to start celebrating with his newly-won title belt.

Winner: The Miz defeated Wade Barrett via submission to win the Intercontinental Championship.

WrestleMania 29 Pay-Per-View Results

The PPV started off with a video and narrator Gov. Chris Christie talking about October 29th and Hurricane Sandy that brought unfathomable destruction and damage.  The video ended with a "Welcome to WrestleMania" from Gov. Christie before showing the live stadium and crowd.

Cole said there was a record crowd on hand approaching 80,000, before another video package was shown.  This time it was about awe-inspiring moments being born.  They showed footage from past WrestleManias including Shawn Michaels, Hulk Hogan, John Cena, Stone Cold and The Undertaker.

Randy Orton, Sheamus & Big Show vs. The Shield

In the late part of the match, Show hit a Spear on The Shield to break up their Powerbomb attempt on Sheamus.  Show then went back to the corner and reached in for a tag to Sheamus.  Randy Orton slapped Show to tag himself in, which annoyed Show.  Orton hit his DDT from the ropes on Ambrose, then went for the RKO.  Rollins jumped from the top rope for a move later, but Orton hit an RKO mid-air on him.  Reigns hit a quick spear on Orton though, allowing Ambrose to steal the pinfall for the win as Big Show watched.  Post-match, Orton started arguing with Big Show.  Show knocked out Sheamus and then Orton.

Winners: The Shield win via pinfall over Randy Orton, Sheamus and Big Show.

Ryback vs. Mark Henry

Mark Henry defeated Ryback via pinfall.  Late in this one, Ryback was able to beat a near count out, getting back into the ring at eight.  Henry worked a bear hug on him, with Ryback getting to the ropes to break it.  Henry quickly clotheslined Ryback out over the top rope.  This time, Ryback got back into the ring at nine, with Henry putting another bear hug on him.  Ryback finally fought out of the hold, hitting away on Henry, before hitting a Meathook Clothesline.  He then was able to lift Henry up, but Henry grabbed one of the ropes and Ryback collapsed.  Henry then took the pinfall to cover.  After the match, the ref called for some trainers to check on Ryback.  Henry chased them off, but then Ryback got back up and hit a spine buster on Henry, followed by Shellshocked.

Winner: Mark Henry wins via pinfall over Ryback.

Dolph Ziggler & Big E Langston vs. Team Hell No
WWE Tag Team Championship match

Towards the finish of this one, Daniel Bryan hit a running knee on Langston, but Ziggler ran up to hit Zig Zag on Bryan for a near fall.  Ziggler called for AJ to give him the briefcase, which Ziggler swung at Kane.  Kane ducked it, then hit a chokeslam on Ziggler.  From there, Kane tagged in Bryan and took out Langston, before Bryan hit a diving headbutt on Ziggler for the win.

Winners: Team Hell No wins via pinfall over Dolph Ziggler and Big E Langston to retain the WWE Tag Team titles.

Chris Jericho vs. Fandango

Late in this one, Fandango went for his big leg drop but Jericho rolled out of the way.  Jericho apparently landed badly on his left knee on the Lionsault from the middle ropes.  Jericho tried for a Walls of Jericho but his knee was bothering him.  Fandango then grabbed him into a small package and stole the pinfall win.

Cole called it "one of Wrestlemania's biggest upsets."  Fandango stumbled to the bottom of the ramp where his dancer helped him to his feet as they backed up the ramp celebrating.

Winner: Fandango wins via pinfall over Chris Jericho.

They showed a video package about fans supporting The Rock as he comes to WrestleMania to defend the WWE title.

Diddy had a special live performance up on the stage of a medley of his hits including "Mo Money, Mo Problems" and "Coming Home."

They showed a video package to profile Jack Swagger's "America" and he and Zeb's campaign against Del Rio.

Jack Swagger vs. Alberto Del Rio
World Heavyweight Championship match

They showed the "Border Patrol" vehicle outside the ring decked out in camo.  Swagger and Colter cut a promo in the ring ahead of the match, finishing with their "We The People" phrase right before Ricardo Rodriguez came out on stage on crutches to introduce Del Rio.

During the match, Del Rio had control and stepped on Zeb Colter's hand which was on the ringside apron.  From there, Del Rio kicked Swagger in the head to knock him to the mat.  Del Rio prepared for a big move, but Swagger countered it and slammed ADR down for a near fall.  Swagger put on a Patriot Lock but Del Rio countered it.  Moments later, Del Rio countered a near Swagger Bomb and then punched Swagger in the back 10 times before hitting a Backstabber on him.

Del Rio went for a Cross Armbreaker, but Swagger countered it and hit a Gutwrench Powerbomb for another near fall.  Colter kept yelling at the ref after the count.  Swagger got the Patriot Lock on again with Del Rio struggling to try to reach the ropes.  He got yanked back by Swagger, but then flipped him over and put on the Cross Armbreaker.  Swagger blocked it by clasping his hands together.  Del Rio hit his hands apart with it looking like it was over.  Swagger countered though and stood up to put the Patriot Lock on and wouldn't let up until the 4 count of 5.  Swagger did it a second time, then went for the Gutwrench, but ADR landed on both feet and hit an enziguiri to the back of Swagger's head.  Del Rio followed with a running kick to Swagger's head in the corner, then a pinfall.  Zeb Colter rushed over and put Swagger's foot on the ropes.

Outside the ring, Zeb Colter went after Ricardo Rodriguez and managed to steal one of his crutches.  Del Rio escaped the ring and got the other crutch to start stalking Colter.  Swagger got out of the ring and tossed Del Rio down then threw him into the crowd barrier.  Del Rio barely beat a 9 count into the ring and Swagger went to attack.  However, Del Rio quickly jumped on him and put on the Cross Armbreaker.  This time Swagger was forced to tap out.

Winner: Alberto Del Rio wins due to submission over Jack Swagger to retain the World Heavyweight Championship.

CM Punk vs. The Undertaker

During the match, Punk worked to taunt Taker early on.  At one point, Taker got enraged and began to beat up Punk unmercifully outside the ring, tossing him into the timekeeper's area, and clearing off the commentators table for a move.  The ref warned Taker he'd disqualify him if he kept it up.

Later in the match, Taker was in control and got up on the ropes for Old School, but Punk tossed him off balance.  Moments after that, Punk mocked him by using the move on Taker.  Punk tried it again later, but this time Taker crotched him on the top rope and then punched him out of the ring.  Taker prepared for a running dive out of the ring but Heyman got up on the apron to block it.  Taker grabbed his throat, and the distraction helped Punk jump off the  corner to take down Taker.

At one point, Punk got chokeslammed down and barely escaped the pinfall.  Moments later in the match, Taker hit Snake Eyes, but then Punk came back with a huge heel kick to Taker's jaw for a near fall of his own.  Later still, Taker had Punk outside the ring and tried for the Last Ride.  Punk slipped off, then hit a kick to Taker's head, leaving him laying on the commentators table.  Punk then went to the ring and jumped off the corner for a huge flying elbow.  He hit it, but the table didn't collapse under Taker, and could have hurt both men.

The ref checked on both guys and Punk got back to the ring first.  Taker had to crawl back and at 8 looked in trouble.  He rushed to dive into the ring and beat the count barely.  The ensuing moments saw several big counters, including Punk escaping a chokeslam, Taker escaping the GTS and Taker hitting a Tombstone.  However, Punk kicked out of the pinfall sending the crowd into a frenzy.

The two men finally got to their feet and traded punches.  Taker looked to have a chokeslam ready, but somehow Punk hit the ref inadvertantly and knocked the ref down.  Taker gained control with the ref down and had Punk up for Last Ride.  This time, Heyman jumped on the apron and gave Punk the urn.  Punk smashed it on Taker's head and fell to the mat with him.  The ref came to as Heyman yelled at him, and Punk pinned Taker with his arms crossed.  However, Taker barely kicked out.

Punk stood up and mocked the cutthroat behind Taker, then picked him up for GTS.  Taker elbowed out of it, then had a Tombstone ready.  Punk escaped it and put Taker up for GTS, but Taker countered that one, and locked a Tombstone on him.  He hit the move and took the final pinfall with Punk out for the 3 count.  Taker is now 21-0.

Winner: The Undertaker wins via pinfall over CM Punk.  The undefeated streak is now at 21-0.

Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar
No Holds Barred Match

In this match, there are no countouts and no holds barred. Also, if Brock Lesnar wins, Triple H must retire.  The Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels was introduced first, followed by Brock Lesnar who came out accompanied by Paul Heyman.  As Lesnar jumped up on the ring, fireworks shot off up in the air around the stadium. Triple H got introduced last and came out from a special King of Kings scene on the stage.

In the early part of the match, Triple H had control and was beating up Lesnar inside and outside of the ring.  As things progressed, Lesnar gained control and at one point slammed Triple H on the commentators table to make it collapse.  Lesnar let out a huge roar each time he hit a move.  At another point he hit a German suplex, throwing The Game onto the debris of the commentators table.  Lesnar chased Michaels a bit on the outside, then started beating up HHH more in the ring.  HHH got up to fight a bit but got knocked back down fast.

Triple H fought back from one of the ring corners, but Lesnar hit another German Suplex, throwing HHH across the ring for a near fall.  Paul Heyman kept yelling for HHH to "Stay down, it's over!"  Lesnar kept on beating on HHH to try to put him away, with Brock's lip bloodied up.  Triple H gained some momentum, but Lesnar reverse whipped him to the corner, sending HHH out of the ring to the floor.  Lesnar went out to stalk Michaels but made the mistake of taking his eyes off The Game.  Triple H ran him down and clubbed Lesnar down.  Later still, he hit Lesnar with a steel chair then pushed him back in the ring.  HHH got in and Lesnar slammed him backwards with a bridge pin for a near fall.

Heyman got up on the apron to yell at the ref, with Michaels getting on the opposite side.  Lesnar elbowed Michaels hard off the side of the ring, with HHH seeing it and responding with a huge spinebuster on Lesnar.  Later on, HBK got in the ring and went for Sweet Chin Music but Lesnar grabbed his leg to block.  He hoisted Michaels up and hit the F5 on him.  Triple H quickly kicked Lesnar in the gut then hit the Pedigree, but Lesnar barely kicked out.  The same result happened moments later when Lesnar hit the F5 on HHH.

Later on, Lesnar tossed part of the steel steps into the ring with Triple H and then rammed him hard with them as HHH got up.  Triple H kicked out of another pinfall, but barely.  Lesnar crouched down to taunt HHH in his face, but Triple H slapped him then started to punch away.  Lesnar blocked a move and went for his arm submission hold on The Game.  Triple H managed to fight out of it, with Lesnar trying for it two more times.  Lesnar went to sit on the corner to put more leverage on HHH's arm for more power.  The Game lifted up Lesnar who was wrapped around his torso, then slammed him down.

Lesnar went for a running move at HHH, who moved away causing Brock to hit the ringpost shoulder first.  HHH then hit a low blow on Lesnar and left the ring before slamming Lesnar's arm against the ringpost.  The Game went and grabbed a steel chair and smashed it against Lesnar's arm on the ringpost.  Back in the ring, HHH slammed the chair on Brock's arm on the steel steps.  Moments later, HHH put the Kimora arm hold on lesnar.  Lesnar called for Heyman to help.

Paul got in the ring with the steel chair, but Michaels got in and hit Sweet Chin Music to stop him.  After trying to fight it for several moments, Lesnar stood up and slammed HHH onto the steel steps in the ring.  However, HHH locked the arm hold back on again.  Lesnar again picked him up and slammed him on the steel steps.  Triple H put the Kimora Lock on for a third time with Lesnar again withstanding it and slamming The Game onto the steps.  However, this time HHH DDT'd Lesnar head first into the steps as pointed out by the commentators.  HHH crawled over and grabbed the sledgehammer, then as Lesnar stood up, he clocked him in the forehead with it.  The Game erupted in rage, then got Lesnar up to hit the Pedigree on the steel steps.  With that, HHH took the pinfall on Lesnar for the big win.

Winner: Triple H wins via pinfall over Brock Lesnar.  Triple H does not have to end his career.

They ran a video highlights package from last night's WWE Hall of Fame ceremony. Howard Finkel was in the ring and introduced all of the Hall of Famers for 2013 as they were up on stage. Mick Foley, Booker T, Trish Stratus, Bob Backlund, Donald Trump and Bruno Sammartino were all introduced to the crowd at MetLife Stadium.

They showed a promo for next year's edition of WrestleMania. WrestleMania 30 will be held in New Orleans on Sunday, April 6, 2014.

Justin Roberts announced to the crowd at MetLife Stadium that they've set an attendance record of 80,676.

John Cena vs. The Rock

WWE Championship Match

John Cena's music hit and he came out on stage to a lot of boos at MetLife Stadium. Cena left the ring and went over to slap hands with Michael Strahan in the crowd. The two men circled each other to start things off, before finally going at it. Cena ran right into Rock with a shoulder block to send him to the mat. They surveyed the crowd after backing to different corners, and then locked up, this time with Rock using a shoulder tackle to send Cena down. Lawler called this the "feeling out process." JBL said a place in history is at stake here, since Rock has defeated Cena last year, and Stone Cold and Hogan at different editions of Mania.

Rock got the upperhand and had Cena layed across the apron, before leaving the ring to beat on Cena a bit from the outside. Rock got back in the ring, only for Cena to pop up and clothesline him down. After a near fall, Cena put a headlock on Rock to wear him down some. Cole talked about Cena going into a downward spiral after losing to Rock last year.

Moments later, The Rock sent Cena against the ropes and put a sleeperhold on him on the way back. Cena used his strength and power to pick up Rock and slam him down, then took a pinfall for a near win. The two men countered each other's moves several times, with Rock putting on a Sharpshooter at one point, and Cena putting on the STF at one point. Both men managed to escape the other's hold though. Rock managed to roll over on Cena to turn the STF into a near fall. Cena catapulted Rock into the corner turnbuckle moments later, then hit the Five Knuckle Shuffle on him. Cena went for AA, but Rock fought out of it and shoved Cena to the ropes. Rock hit a Spinebuster then revved up for the People's Elbow, but Cena tripped him down and locked on the STF.

The Rock used his strength and pulled apart Cena's hands to get out of the STF. Cena charged at him, but Rock grabbed him for the Rock Bottom and then pinned Cena. Cena barely kicked out of it. Both guys got to their feet, and this time Cena hit his finisher, the AA. Rock powered out of the pinfall attempt, with both men laying on the mat to recover after the near fall.

Cena went for a legdrop from the corner, but Rock avoided it causing Cena to hit the mat. Rock hit the Spinebuster, then set up for People's Elbow and hit it. Rock with the pinfall, but Cena barely kicked out of it, then rolled out of the ring to recover. Rock recovered on the side of the ring before getting to his feet and looking a bit dazed. Rock then left the ring to go collect Cena on the outside.

Back in the ring, and Cena and The Rock traded punches. Rock ran against the ropes and flew at Cena with a cross body, but Cena caught him in the air and put Rock on his shoulders for the AA. Rock escaped it and hit Rock Bottom for a pinfall attempt, with Cena barely escaping it. With Cena down, Rock set up and did a You Can't See Me taunt on him. Rock ran the ropes but Cena sprang to his feet and grabbed Rock for the AA, hitting it and pinning Rock. Rock barely kicked out to send the crowd into another frenzy.

Later, The Rock grabbed Cena for another Rock Bottom. Cena countered and then hit Rock with his own move for another near fall. Cena got up and looked at his hand, then took off an elbow band to prepare to do the People's Elbow. However, as he went to the ropes Cena held himself there as Rock bounced up. Cena did the You Can't See Me, then ducked a move by Rock. Rock countered and hit Rock Bottom for yet another near fall. Moments later, Rock waited for Cena to stand. Rock went for the Rock Bottom, but Cena escaped it and hit the AA to finally put Rock away.

Cena is the new WWE Champion! Cole and JBL talked about Cena slaying his personal demons and finally winning the big one.

Post-match, The Rock was collecting himself in the ring.  Cena held up the belt looking at it then motioned towards Rock.  Rock walked towards him and the two had a conversation at the middle of the ring.  Rock shook Cena's hand and then hugged him.  Cena left the ring, and Rock's music played on with Rock looking around in the ring, thinking about what just happened.  Cena walked up the ramp holding the WWE belt as Rock's music kept playing.

Rock left the ring to slap hands with fans at ringside including giving kisses and hugs to his family.  He walked to the top of the ramp where he and Cena saluted each other, then raised one another's arms up as the fireworks shot off to close out the show with Cena holding up the WWE Championship.

Winner: John Cena defeated The Rock via pinfall to become the new WWE Champion.

Raw Results 04/01/13

Raw Results from Washington, DC:

John Cena started off the show and was getting booed quite often as he made his speech about WM29 and The Rock.  He said this time around it's bigger than before because the WWE title is up for grabs.  He talked about how the WWE Universe may see a moment happen this year they never thought was possible.  Cena said he won't replace this new championship belt with his own design, because he wants to hold it as a symbol, that he's better than Rock.  He finishes with "The Champ, is Here!" before dropping the mic and drawing more boos.

Randy Orton, Big Show & Sheamus defeated Team 3MB via pinfall.  Sheamus hit an Irish Curse backbreaker before tagging in Big Show.  Show ran over Jinder and all of the competitors got involved before the faces picked up the win.  Post-match, The Shield comes into the crowd.  Ambrose gives them congratulations on the match, then tells them they'll be on their backs at WrestleMania.  Rollins and R oman each speak with Reigns saying the whole world will believe in Shield after WM29.

They had a promo from Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter recorded earlier in Washington, DC.  Swagger talked about how he'll win the title from Del Rio, then introduces the fans to his new America.

Striker interviewed Del Rio backstage with Del Rio talking about Colter and Swagger.  Del Rio will face Colter later on.

Dolph Ziggler defeated Daniel Bryan via pinfall.  Late in the match, Ziggler and Bryan traded near falls.  They collided in the air with cross body attempts.  AJ started to skip around Kane, and then Big E ran over Kane to knock him down.  Bryan saw it all and then hit Big E through the ropes.  The distraction allowed Bryan to roll up Bryan for the win.  Post-match, Big E got in the ring to knock down Bryan, then hit his finisher on him.  Ziggler started to taunt Bryan with Kane coming in to try to intervene.  He beat up on Ziggler and Big E, and went to chokeslam Big E.  E broke the grip and then hit his finisher on Kane.  Big E and Ziggler then posed with the tag team titles while AJ stood between them.

Shawn Michaels came out to the ring to speak about Triple H vs. Brock at WM29.  He talked about having his arm broken by Lesnar before and mentioned that he got real concerned when he heard the stipulation for the match, with HHH's career on the line.  Michaels said he has serious doubts and concerns.  That brought HHH's music and The Game comes to the ring.

HHH told HBK he knows what he's doing and thought they talked about this before.  He told HBK it's the same situation he was in.  HBK says the situations couldn't be more different.  HBK told Hunter that Lesnar respects no one, and only does this for money and to hurt others.  Triple H tells Shawn he won't be able to talk him out of this.  HBK says that's not why he came out, but because he will be in Triple H's corner at Mania.  Brock Lesnar's music hit and he came out with Paul Heyman.

Heyman spoke saying Lesnar will beat HHH into retirement this Sunday.  Heyman brought up all the people HHH will disappoint when he loses, but mentions he's probably used to disappointing his wife anyway.  Heyman asked Shawn if he really wants to be that close to Lesnar this Sunday.  HBK took off his shirt, ready to fight.  Heyman tells HHH he should have just walked away, because he'll have to crawl away with his tail between his legs after Sunday.  Heyman keeps on insulting The Game and talking up Lesnar, before saying HHH is committing professional suicide.  The two head backstage as Lesnar's music plays and HBK/HHH stare at them.

Wade Barrett defeated Zack Ryder via pinfall in a non-title match.  The Miz was on commentary.  Before the match they announced Miz will face Barrett for the IC title during the WM29 pre-show.  In the match, Ryder hit the Broski Boot late for a near fall, but Barrett came back after and hit his Bullhammer Elbow for the win.

Santino Marella payed a visit backstage to Brad Maddox and Vickie Guerrero.  Santino tells them he just saw Vince McMahon go storming out of the arena to his limo complaining he was upset about Vickie and Brad.  Santino walks off, then after a few moments returns to tell them it was an April Fool's joke.  Vickie isn't amused and told Santino to go to the ring because he's got a match next.

Mark Henry defeated Santino Marella via pinfall.  Santino joked around early on and kicked Henry in the leg, then kicked Henry in the head.  Henry got upset by it and grabbed Santino.  Santino threatened to use the Cobra.  Santino goes for it, but Henry runs him over, then hits World's Strongest Slam for the win.

Henry got on the mic telling Ryback he has no right to threaten him, then reminded Ryback of their no-contact clause before Mania.  Henry said only thing that will happen tonight is him smiling.  Henry tried to leave the ring, but Ryback grabbed Santino and used his body to knock Henry to the outside.  He then pressed Santino overhead and tossed him out onto Henry outside the ring.  The crowd started up a "Feed Me More" chant.

Matt Striker talked to CM Punk backstage.  Punk said he will do something nobody else has done before at WrestleMania.  He said he'll do whatever he has to in order to end The Streak.  Punk promises that every time anyone thinks about WrestleMania, they will think about Punk.  He has the urn and gives it a kiss to finish the promo interview.

Alberto Del Rio defeated Zeb Colter due to disqualification.  During the match, Del Rio kept taunting Colter and swiping at him as Colter stayed towards the ropes and the corner to avoid him.  Swagger began stalking Ricardo outside the ring and RR held up his crutch to wave at Swagger as a weapon.  Zeb reached out and grabbed the crutch then taunted Del Rio to come at him.  Just then, Swagger took down Ricardo on the outer floor.  ADR kicked Swagger down through the ropes, but as he went back in the ring, Zeb hit him with the crutch.  The ref called for the bell for a DQ on Colter.

Post-match, Del Rio managed to grab the crutch away but Swagger was in the ring and took down Del Rio from behind.  From there, Swagger and Colter kept bashing Del Rio with crutches until refs got them to leave.  Del Rio pulled himself up with the ropes and stared at them as they went up the ramp.

The Rock's music hit and he came out onto the stage with the WWE championship belt.  As he made his way to the ring, Cole plugged "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" movie as #1 in the entire world.  Cole told fans to use hashtag #ROCKvsCENA on Tout.com to talk about the upcoming match, and they'll use the touts on tonight's Raw.

Rock waited out crowd cheers and chants before speaking.  Rock talked about their monumental upcoming match, and eventually going to the White House, from President Barack to President The Rock.  He asked the people if he can count on their votes.  They roared with a "Yes" response.  Rock did his "Finally...The Rock has come back to Washington - D.C."

Rock said the match on Sunday won't be about redemption or Cena getting the torch.  Rock said only way Cena is getting the torch is if he lights the belt on fire and sticks it straight up Cena's candy ass.  He said on Sunday Cena can not deny the will of the people and he can not beat The Rock.  Rock finished up with his classic "If you smell, what The Rock...is cookin" before posing on the corner of the ring.

Chris Jericho defeated Antonio Cesaro via submission in a non-title match.  During the match, Cesaro gained control and went up on the corner ropes.  Jericho shook the side ropes and Cesaro fell to the seated position on the ropes.  Jericho climbed up and hit a hurricanrana to throw Cesaro to the mat.  Just then, Fandango's music hit and his dancer arrived out on stage.  Several moments later, Fandango arrived out and the two danced to his music with Jericho looking on before Raw went to break.  After break, they showed Jericho hitting an impressive kick move to send Cesaro to the outer floor and Fandango held up a "2" score card from the stage.

Towards the finish, Fandango and his dancer moved closer to the ring.  Fandango held up a score card and turned his back to the ring, so Jericho ran over and dropkicked him through the ropes. Moments later, Jericho finally got the Walls of Jericho locked in and Cesaro tapped out.

Post-match, Fandango rushed to the ring and got in to attack Jericho.  He beat him down, then went to the top rope for a huge leg drop on Jericho.  Two refs tried to get Fandango to get out, and he looked to be leaving, but then climbed to the top for another leg drop, this time on the back of Jericho's head.  From there, Fandango got right in Jericho's face then went and grabbed a mic to pronounce his name to everyone.

When Raw returned, Cole brought up how Trish Stratus tweeted on Twitter asking Stephanie McMahon will do the honors of inducting her into the Hall of Fame on Saturday.  Cole said moments later Stephanie tweeted back that it would be her honor to induct one of the greatest divas of all time.

They showed four different tout videos from fans saying who they think will win The Rock vs. Cena match at WM29.

The Bella Twins defeated Cameron & Naomi via pinfall.  During the match, chaos broke out at ringside with Clay, Tensai and Rhodes Scholars all getting into a brawl heading up the ramp.  In the ring, Cameron ran the ropes, then hit a crossbody on Nikki, but Nikki reversed the pin to steal the victory.

The Undertaker's music hit and he made his entrance to the ring.  Once in the ring, Taker got on the mic to talk about how long Punk's reign lasted as champion, but then said the pain he's going to feel will last an eternity.  He said since Punk made it personal, he will suffer.  Taker said defeating him at WrestleMania is not good enough, because the disrespect he showed Paul Bearer will cause him to pay the ultimate price.  Taker said the streak may come to an end on Sunday, but Punk will never live to talk about it.

Just then, ominous music hit and two druids came out from backstage carrying torches.  Six more druids came out and then lined up on the sides of the ramp as the music kept playing.  Cole talked about how strange the event was in our nation's capital.  All of a sudden, an eery voice mocking Paul Bearer said "Ohhhh yesss" and someone came to the stage dressed as Bearer holding the urn up.  Taker took off his robe and started up the ramp towards the fake Bearer.  Suddenly, he stopped as he realized he was surrounded by druids.  Taker grabbed several of them and threw them off the ramp, before one launched himself at Taker, revealing himself as Punk.

From there, Punk kept beating up Taker and took the urn from the fake Paul Bearer.  He smashed it into Taker's gut, then kept beating him down with it, taunting Taker to get back up.  With Taker on his back on the ramp, Punk opened up the urn, and then poured some ashes into his hand before throwing it in Taker's face.  Punk then dumped all of the ashes out onto Taker, before rubbing some over himself to further desecrate the urn and memory of Paul Bearer.  Raw ended with Taker down, covered in ashes and Punk rubbing ashes on himself.

Post-match, Kane and Daniel Bryan came out to congratulate Big E and Ziggler for finally getting him and Kane on the same page.  Kane said he's not in a good place right now, then suggested Ziggler & Big E vs. Team Hell No.  AJ got into the conversation suggesting it be for the tag titles at WM29, and Hell No accepted.

Wade Barrett defeated The Miz and Chris Jericho via pinfall in a Triple Threat Intercontinental Title match.  Late in this one, Jericho chopped away on Miz, then missed an enziguiri kick.  Jericho had a quick rollup for a near fall.  Miz was able to counter a Jericho move and hit the Skullcrushing Finale.  He tried for a pinf, but Barrett rushed in to break it up, then rolled up Miz for the win.  Post-match, Barrett left the ring and grabbed his belt before heading up the ramp.

Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar contract signing.  The show's final segment featured the contract signing with HHH and Brock.  Lesnar and Heyman decided a stipulation before Triple H signed off on the match.  Heyman came to the ring with 3 security guards for his own safety, without Brock.  Heyman showed HHH that he had a contract with Brock's signature already on it.  Heyman said only after HHH signs it will he tell him the stipulation.  Heyman had footage shown from 3 weeks ago when Lesnar tried to go after Vince McMahon but Triple H came to the ring for the save.  The footage turned black and white so as to not show the blood.

Heyman told Triple H that Brock told Heyman he could pick the stipulation.  Heyman said why not make the stipulation that the winner gets HHH's wife Stephanie, but then Heyman suggested the loser should get her.  Triple H lost it then and went after Heyman, taking him down to the mat.  The security guards pounced on him immediately, but The Game soon cleared two of them out of the ring.  The third guy stood there and stared down at Heyman, looked at HHH and then got out of the ring.

With Heyman all alone, Triple H grabbed him and smashed him face first onto the table, cutting open Heyman's forehead.  HHH then slammed him on the table and ripped Heyman's shirt open to slap him around a bit.  Heyman said since he knows Lesnar won't come out until he signs, he's going to fully enjoy the moment.  He took out the contract and pressed it on Heyman's chest, then signed it.  He finished off by shoving Heyman out of the ring and throwing a chair out on him with the contract.

Lesnar's music hit and he came out to the stage irate, smashing a steel chair down.  Brock started down towards the ring, but then Triple H produced a sledgehammer and dared Brock to get in the ring.  Brock tossed the chair at him which HHH batted down.  Heyman told Brock "We won, signed his death wish."

Heyman and Lesnar went to the top of the stage, with Heyman getting on the mic saying it will be no countdown, no DQ, no stoppage of the match for any reason, because it will be No Holds Barred.  Heyman added one further stipulation: Triple H's career is on the line in the match.  Lesnar held onto the contract and smirked at HHH in the ring as Heyman  chimed in "Game Over."

Kane defeated CM Punk via pinfall in a No DQ match.  Late in the contest, Punk was in control and hitting Kane with a steel chair.  Punk did the cutthroat signal to mock Taker, then blocked Kane's chokeslam attempt with a roundhouse kick.  Punk prepared for a GTS but just as Kane got up, The Undertaker's bell sounded.  Punk was startled by it, which allowed Kane to recover and give him a chokeslam for the win.

Raw Results 03/04/13

Raw Results from Buffalo, NY:

The show opened with retro on-screen graphics and text.  As the live crowd was shown, all of a sudden the Undertaker's bells chimed.  After the arena went dark, Taker's graphics hit on the screen and then finally, he emerged from backstage.  As he went to the stage, things faded to black and an "old school" Raw video package opened the show with Mean Gene narrating.  Among the legends shown were Ric Flair, Sgt. Slaughter, Million Dollar Man and Honky Tonk Man.

After the intro, Cole and Lawler talked up their "Old School" show, and mentioned Undertaker's appearance.  Taker was no longer out in the arena though.  CM Punk's music hit and he came out to the ring with Paul Heyman.  Punk talked about how he should be main eventing Mania, and going for the WWE title.  He said now that he's not, and the people ruined things for him, he didn't think he needed to be at Mania.  However, he just saw a reason to be there and is going to take something from the people.  Punk vowed to go to WrestleMania and end Undertaker's streak.

That brought out Randy Orton first, to talk about how he's fought Taker at Mania before and nearly broke the streak.  Orton tried to poll the crowd about who they'd rather see fight Taker at Mania.  Just then, Big Show's music hit and he came out to say he deserved the shot at Taker at WrestleMania.  Sheamus' music hit and he came out to say he's the only guy who has never faced Undertaker before, so he may have the best shot at defeating him.  He said it will take more than a big fist, a GTS or RKO to put Taker down, but maybe his big boot, his heart and all the luck of the Irish will help him end the streak.

Vickie Guerrero interrupted with her "Excuse Me's" and came out to the ramp.  She said they'd need to determine who gets the opportunity to break Taker's streak, so there will be a Fatal Fourway match tonight with the winner facing Undertaker at WrestleMania 29.

Ryback defeated Antonio Cesaro via pinfall in a non-title match.  Ryback regained control of things late, hitting a huge spinebuster on Cesaro.  He went for the Meathook Clothesline but Cesaro was ready and hit the uppercut on him.  Cesaro had Ryback stunned and went for the Neutralizer, but Ryback countered, then hit the Shellshocked for the win.  Post-match, Ryback was heading up the ramp and Mark Henry's music hit.  Henry came out and the two gave each other the brief glance/stare before Henry headed to the ring.

Cole announced that superstars will battle to become the GM of Saturday Morning Slam this Saturday at 10:30 AM EST.

Mark Henry defeated Zack Ryder via pinfall.  Henry made quick work of Ryder, whipping him hard to the corner at one spot before clotheslining him down hard.  From there, he screamed for Ryder to get up just so he could hit him with World's Strongest Slam.

A promotional video was shown for Fandango saying he'd debut tonight on Raw.

The Miz defeated Dolph Ziggler via submission.  Before the match, The Miz introduced someone who personifies "Old School," his corner man, Ric Flair.  Late in the match, AJ got on the apron to reach out for Ziggler who was on the mat.  Meanwhile, with the ref distracted by that, Big E got on the other apron and grabbed Miz to punch him down.  Flair rushed over and started to chop on Big E, but it didn't phase him.  Flair backed up and pleaded with Big E not to attack and then Miz dropkicked him down.  Ziggler tried to steal a pinfall, but Miz escaped it and managed to drop Ziggler, then put the Figure Four leglock on to make him tap.  Flair and Miz celebrated with vintage Flair moves and antics in the ring post-match.

They had an extended in-ring segment featuring The Rock and John Cena discussing their upcoming WrestleMania WWE title match.  Rock was out first and did his usual "Finally.." bit about returning to Buffalo.  Cena came out to interrupt moments after, and talked about how he was looking for redemption in the WrestleMania 29 match.  Rock said he knows what this means to Cena, and that's why nobody in the WWE locker room has what Cena has - except, The Rock.  He said as much as it matters to Cena, it matters even more to The Rock.

John Cena talked about Mike Tyson's quote "In order to be the greatest that ever lived, you have to beat everyone living."  Cena said he's accomplished every goal and jumped every roadblock in his career, except for The Rock.  He added that at WM29, Rock's time is up, but his time is now.  Rock said "No, no no no no, Rock's time is just getting started."  Rock quoted Lance Armstrong saying "winning is about having heart, you just have to have it in the right place."  Rock said Armstrong was full of crap and so are you.  Cena told Rock "well played" and commended his confidence, but said in 34 days "History won't repeat itself, I make history."  Cena vowed to become WWE Champion.  Rock told Cena "you think you can beat me, I know I can beat you."  Rock vowed to beat Cena yet again.

Jack Swagger and Hacksaw Jim Duggan fought to a no contest.  Legends Sgt. Slaughter and Dusty Rhodes were there with him for the match.  During the match, which had no bell, Swagger took Duggan's 2x4 early on and clocked Sgt. Slaughter, Dusty Rhodes and then Duggan with it.  He finally locked the Patriot Act lock on Duggan's ankle about two minutes in.  He kept the hold locked in, trying to seriously hurt Duggan.  Finally he released the hold and stared at the WrestleMania 29 banner.

Backstage, Zeb Colter hyped Swagger's earlier accomplishment for taking out the three legends.  Josh Matthews walked up for an interview, but it was soon interrupted when Del Rio attacked Swagger.  Officials rushed in to separate them.

Kane & Daniel Bryan defeated Prime Time Players via pinfall in a non-title match.  Million Dollar Man was ringside to witness the match.  Late in it, Kane hit the chokeslam on D-Young for the win.  Dibiase got a bill out and stuffed it into Darren Young's mouth.  Daniel Bryan grabbed the money and left the ring.

Brodus Clay & Tensai defeated Drew McIntyre & Heath Slater via pinfall.  The Honky Tonk Man came to ringside during the match. McIntyre tried to taunt Honky Tonky Man by swiveling his hips.  Brodus Clay grabbed Drew for a quick rollup to win in about 30 seconds.  Post match, Honkey Tonk Man started up the Shake, Rattle and Roll with Brodus, Tensai and the Funkadactyls.  Slater got back in the ring and Honky Tonk smashed his guitar on him before they started to dance again.

Fandango came out to make his Raw debut against Kofi Kingston.  He arrived out in a "Dancing With the Stars" getup with a female dancer.  He told Roberts he didn't pronounce his name right and tried to tell him the correct way.  Roberts tried again but Fandango said it was still wrong, and then said everyone will remember this as the night they almost got to see the debut of Fandango.  The match never took place.

Triple H arrived out to make a statement towards Brock Lesnar.  He talked about looking for a reason to get back in the ring, and finally found one when Lesnar attack his father-in-law.  Hunter brought up how seeing Vince in the hospital had Stephanie and the grandkids in tears, but it had him smiling inside since he now had a reason.  Triple H then said he's now calling out Brock for a match at WrestleMania 29, asking "are you going to show up and fight, or just sit there and bleed?"  He dropped the mic and headed backstage with Cole saying it's now up to Lesnar to accept the challenge.

They showed handheld video camera footage from The Shield.  Ambrose, Reigns and Rollins brought up how Sheamus and Orton are trying to end the undefeated streak of Undertaker at WrestleMania 29, but then reminded them of another streak: nobody has defeated The Shield yet.

Alberto Del Rio defeated Wade Barrett via submission in a Champion via Champion match (non-title).  Late in the match, Del Rio blocked Winds of Change and put on the Cross Armbreaker to make Wade tap out.  During the match, Zeb and Swagger came out to watch.  Post-match, Del Rio taunted Swagger to get in the ring and fight instead of sneak attacking legends.  Swagger didn't go for it though.

The New Age Outlaws defeated Primo & Epico via pinfall.  Rosa Mendes was ringside with her team.  Late in the match, Billy Gunn punched away on both Primo and Epico with right hands.  A brawl broke out in the ring with all four men, before Billy hit the Fameasser to get the pinfall victory.

CM Punk won the Fatal Fourway match by pinfall over Randy Orton to get to face Undertaker at WrestleMania 29.  Late in the match, Punk was out of the ring.  Big Show prepared for a KO punch on Sheamus, but Sheamus avoided it and then hit a Brogue Kick to send Show out of the ring.  Orton hit a quick RKO on Sheamus to lay him out.  Punk rushed into the ring, kicked Orton in the head and then hit the GTS on him for the pinfall win.

Post-match, Punk celebrated in the ring, but the lights flashed and Taker's bell sounded.  Punk looked towards the ramp, and suddenly Undertaker emerged from the fog.  He walked onto the stage then headed down the ramp towards the ring, stopping halfway down the ramp to stare at Punk.  Cole said WM29 will feature the Longest reigning WWE champ of the past 25 years versus the streak.

Cole and Lawler talked about Swagger winning the Elimination Chamber.  Cole said some of Swagger and Zeb's propaganda is leaking on YouTube.com/WeThePeopleZeb.  They showed a clip from it with Swagger standing in the background with his arms folded as Zeb talked about all the delinquents crossing the borders to come to America to take handouts.  Zeb said he and Swagger will give them a handout, a helping hand, they'll give them a hand back to wherever they came from.

They brought up how Swagger will face Del Rio for the World Championship at WM29, but that CM Punk and John Cena will fight next week to determine who goes to WrestleMania to face The Rock for the WWE Championship.

Backstage, Daniel Bryan told Kane he's not comfortable teaming up with him after what happened last night.  Bryan said he asked Vickie for a singles match and is facing Jack Swagger tonight.  He told Kane not to come to the ring.  Kane said he'd get his own match and tells Bryan not to come out with him either, because he doesn't deal well with snakes.  Randy Orton shows up asking if someone is talking about him.  Kane talks about stomping out snakes, prompting Orton to respond he used to be intimidated by Kane but not since he's doing group therapy and hugging it out.  Orton calls Kane more like Barney the Dinosaur nowadays.  Bryan laughs at the joke and Kane glares at him.  When Kane turns back, Orton is gone.

They showed Vickie backstage on the phone talking about big things she has planned for the show.  As she hangs up, Paul Heyman walks in.  Vickie congratulates Heyman for putting the stipulations on Rock and Punk's EC match.  She says she has big news regarding Heyman's whole career tonight.  Heyman asks her what it is, but she won't say.  Heyman tells her he doesn't like surprises.  Vickie gets right in his face and says "I know," laughing before she leaves.

Alberto Del Rio defeated Dolph Ziggler by submission in a non-title match.  Late in the match, Ziggler hit several forearms to ADR's back, then hit a Backstabber for a near fall.  Big E gets up on the apron to run some distraction, but Del Rio kicks his legs to cause him to fall off.  Ziggler goes for a move, but Del Rio counters and puts him into the Cross Armbreaker to make him tap.

Post-match, Del Rio was celebrating, but Big E gets in the ring and smashes him down.  He yells that Del Rio's time is over.  Langston hits his finisher on Del Rio to leave him laying on the mat.  Ziggler prepares to cash in with the briefcase, but Ricardo snatches it away and starts to run off with it.  Big E chases Ricardo who drops the case.  AJ rushes and gets it then goes to bring it to Ziggler in the ring.  Before he can cash in, Del Rio hits an enziguiri kick on him to prevent it.

They had a promo from Wade Barrett talking about a new WWE Studios movie "Dead Man Down," with a trailer shown.  Sheamus appeared on the Titantron to say the movie doesn't star Barrett, but Colin Farrell.  He said he loved the new movie because Barrett doesn't say a word in it.  He said if he has any response to please let him know now.  Sheamus then looked off camera saying "Whats that, we're out of time? Sorry fella."  Barrett was upset in the ring that Sheamus "ruined his special moment."

Jack Swagger and Zeb Coulter came to the ring to give their State of the Union address.  Swagger talked about winning the Chamber match and now has the weight of our nation on his shoulders.  Del Rio and Ricardo were seen watching backstage.  Swagger says tonight's all about American and the "state of the union."  He says only one man is honest enough to deliver that - Zeb.  Zeb talks about how the state of the union is currently pathetic due to all the people in the country that try to take everything.  Zeb brings up WrestleMania 29, saying the World Heavyweight Championship match is more like a battle for the heart and soul of America.  Zeb says Del Rio came into America to take advantage, but Swagger will win the World Title and reclaim America.  Swagger chants "We the People," as his music plays on.  Daniel Bryan's music hits and he comes out for their match.

Jack Swagger defeated Daniel Bryan via submission.  Late in the match, Bryan managed to get a No Lock on Swagger, but Swagger got his foot on the bottom rope to break it.  Later, Bryan misses his dropkick attempt in the corner, then falls on his head.  Swagger drops a knee on Bryan's leg, then takes Bryan's leg out after with a chop block.  He puts on the Patriot Lock and makes Bryan tap out.

After break, Paul Heyman was in the ring with Vickie Guerrero.  She announces that she has a new assistant, and out comes Brad Maddox.  Maddox says Vince was so happy with him, he gave him this opportunity.  Heyman says he doesn't care what they have to say, and goes to leave, but then Vince McMahon appears on screen.  Vince tells Heyman that wasn't his surprise.  He said he granted Heyman the stipulation for Punk vs. Rock last night.  They rolled a clip last week with Heyman saying he'd "do anything if Vince approved the stipulation."  He told him anything means he could fire him right now, and while it might be a good idea it's too easy.  Instead, Vince will come to the ring on crutches next week and fight Heyman.  Heyman drops the mic shocked by the news.

The Shield defeated Ryback, Chris Jericho and Sheamus via pinfall.  Late in the match, Sheamus broke away to make the hot tag to Ryback who exploded in the ring.  He smashed down Set Rollins with several moves, including the Meathook Clothesline.  He went for Shell Shocked, but the other two guys from Shield ran some interference, which allowed for Reigns to rush in the ring and Spear down Ryback.

Ryback was getting triple teamed for a while but finally escaped Shield to tag in Jericho who the crowd was hot for.  Jericho ran through multiple moves including a Lionsault for a near fall on Ambrose.

Later still, Reigns took out Ryback on the outside as Jericho kept battling Ambrose in the ring.  He was able to slap on the Walls of Jericho and Ambrose had nowhere to go.  Rollins got involved to distract the ref, with Sheamus coming in to fight him.  The ref broke that up, but Rollins had got up on one of the corners of the ring and flew off to hit Jericho with a knee to the head.  Ambrose managed to get the pinfall on Y2J with Sheamus still fighting Reigns on the outside.  The Shield escaped out into the audience celebrating their win.

Damien Sandow cut a promo on his way down to the ring about President's Day and how many of the Sandow relatives were advisors to presidents.  Before the bell could even ring, Sandow attacked Kofi Kingston in the ring and kept attacking him.  All of a sudden, R-Truth's music hit and he rushed down to the ring in street clothes.  Truth tackled Sandow at bottom of the ramp, then beat him up in the ring hitting the Lie Detector scissors kick on him and then clotheslining him out of the ring.  Truth helped up Kofi as his music played on.

Josh Matthews interviewed DJ Cotrona and Adrienne Palicki of "G.I. Joe Retaliation" at ringside.  They both talked about being excited for The Rock's championship celebration tonight, then Matthews introduced a trailer for the movie they're all in.

Randy Orton defeated Kane via pinfall.  Kane hit a sideslam on Orton late for a 2 count.  Orton made a comeback, and went for his DDT through the ropes, but Kane countered it.  He set up for a chokeslam, but Daniel Bryan came down to the ring and distracted him.  Orton hits the quick RKO on Kane for the win.

The University of Louisiana at Lafayette marching band came out performing and formed an aisle down the ramp to the ring.  The Rock came out to a big round of cheers from the crowd.

For his celebration he talked about how the WWE Championship belt needs to mean something and not be a toy that spins.  He took the belt and handed it off to a crew member telling them to make sure it makes it into the Hall of Fame.  He then unveiled a new championship belt with Brahma Bull logos on the side and a large face.

Rock then talked up WM29, with the Cena vs. CM Punk match.  Cena's music hits and Cena comes out, but Punk attacks him from behind on the ramp.  Punk has the old title belt in hand and throws it down the ramp, then points at Rock.  Rock prepares for another fight, with Punk heading backstage as the crowd boos.  Cena's still down on the ramp as Raw ends.
