2015 WWE Battleground Results Coverage (Updated)

Welcome to 2015 WWE Battleground results coverage from WWE Characters the Blog! This latest pay-per-view was held on Sunday, July 19th from the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri. Among the high profile matches on the card were Brock Lesnar vs. Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and Kevin Owens vs. John Cena for the WWE United States Championship. All results and brief match recaps for the winners and losers are recorded in the sections below!

The pay-per-view will feature a special pre-show ahead of the main card. On this Kickoff Show will be a match featuring R-Truth versus King Barrett for Barrett's official crown. The pre-show is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. EST on Sunday night via WWE website and WWE Network.

R-Truth vs. King Barrett

This matchup was held on the Battleground Kickoff special. The pre-show panel sent it to ringside for Michael Cole, JBL and Jerry Lawler to call the match. Truth came out and revved up the crowed with a bunch of “What’s Up” call outs. Barrett was out next with his official crown, scepter and cape. At one point during the match, Barrett escaped to the outside for a break, but Truth launched himself over the top rope to jump on him. Two near finishes came early as Truth hit a scissor kick and Barrett hit Winds of Change. Truth avoided Bull Hammer once and tried for Lie Detector, but Barrett held the ropes and dropped Truth. He blasted back with the Bull Hammer to put Truth down for the pin.

 Winner: King Barrett won via pinfall over R-Truth.

Randy Orton vs. Sheamus

The two continued countering each others’ moves throughout. Orton managed to kick out of White Noise late in the contest. Sheamus went to the top rope for a move but Orton got up and crotched him on the corner. Orton climbed up and hit the Superplex and made a slow cover, with Sheamus kicking out at 2-1/2. Orton went for the RKO after hitting the DDT from the ropes. Sheamus avoided it and went for a rollup, with Orton kicking out. Sheamus blasted him with the Brogue Kick, then dragged Orton to center ring to put the Clover Leaf on. Orton nearly grabbed the bottom rope but Sheamus pulled him back. Orton used his remaining strength and got to the rope. Sheamus went to pick up Orton for a move, but Orton avoided it and hit a surprise RKO for the win.

Winner: Randy Orton won via pinfall over Sheamus.

Stephanie did an interview backstage with Jo Jo. She said there would be a Divas Triple Threat match tonight and suggested each of the three teams choose their representative well, because tonight continues the new WWE Diva Revolution.

New Day vs. Prime Time Players (c)
WWE Tag Team Championship Match

Woods interfered on the apron late causing Kofi to be able to DDT Titus down for a near fall. Kofi went to the top rope and jumped at Titus, who connected on his gut with a strike. D-Young tagged in and started to clean house against the New Day including a backdrop on the side apron to take down Woods. Young came back in the ring from the outside and Kofi hit a spin kick. New Day tried for a double team move and Young escaped it, then connected on a Gut Check with his knees on Kofi. Big E came in as Young tagged Titus in. Titus hit his sit out Powerslam for the win.

Winners: The Prime Time Players won via pinfall over New Day to retain the WWE Tag Team Championships.

Paige was backstage and hyped up Becky Lynch and Charlotte about tonight's big match. Becky said they will tear the division down and rebuild it brick by brick. Charlotte said they'd do it with "Flair" as the three divas locked pinkies in union and smiled.

Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt

Reigns knocked Wyatt to the outside early but as he went to grab him through the ropes, Wyatt blasted him with a huge shot to the head. Back in the ring, Wyatt took control of things with more strikes, but Reigns soon recovered and hit him down with a clothesline. Wyatt went out of the ring but Reigns went out and tossed him into the barricade. Later, Reigns charged at Wyatt near the steel steps. Wyatt moved aside and Reigns crashed shoulder first into the steps, falling to the floor. At one point, Reigns went for the driveby with Wyatt near the apron. Wyatt got up and chopped him down to counter it, then hit a senton bomb on the outside floor. Wyatt went for Sister Abigail later, and Reigns countered hitting a Superman Punch for a near fall. 

At one point, Reigns hit about 10 clotheslines in the corner on Wyatt. Wyatt rolled to the outside. He eventually recovered and grabbed two steel chairs at ringside. Reigns came out of the ring and punched him down. He looked at the chairs and started to toss them into the ring. With Wyatt rolled back in the ring, a figure in a hooded sweatshirt suddenly attacked Reigns from behind, shoving him into the ringpost. Wyatt came over and hit Sister Abigail on Reigns on the side apron. He followed with another in the ring for the win. Post-match, the hooded figure got in the ring and revealed it was Luke Harper.

Winner: Bray Wyatt defeated Roman Reigns via pinfall

Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks vs. Brie Bella - Triple Threat Divas Match

NXT Champion Sasha Banks and former NXT champ Charlotte decided to represent their respective teams. Nikki seemed to be entering the match for Team Bella, but she taunted the other two divas a bit then went to the outside to send Brie in instead. At one point, Sasha put Charlotte and Brie each across different corner ropes and then jumped on top of both. Later, Brie went to the outside and recovered near Nikki and Alicia Fox. Paige and Becky went on one side while Tamina and Noami went to the other. Nikki and Alicia tried to send Brie back in the ring, but Sasha came flying out on top of all the divas. Moments later, Charlotte jumped over the top rope to land on Tamina and Naomi. Nikki got knocked from the corner to the floor. Sasha gained control and put the Banks Statement submission on Charlotte. Nikki crawled back over to break things up and tossed Sasha outside. Charlotte managed to grab Nikki and put on the Figure 8 submission to make her tap out.

Winner: Charlotte won via submission over Brie Bella.

Kevin Owens vs. John Cena (c)
WWE United States Championship Match

Late in the match, Cena hit the AA off the middle rope and went for the pin, but Owens kicked out at the last moment. Cena was shocked he couldn’t put him away. He went to pick up Owens but got caught in the small package. Xena kicked out and put on the STF. Owens managed to get towards the ropes, but Cena was able to pull him back to center of the ring. Eventually, Owens tapped out giving Cena the victory.

Winner: John Cena defeated Kevin Owens via pinfall to retain the WWE United States Championship.

Brock Lesnar vs. Seth Rollins (c)
WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match

Lesnar dominated from the onset with Rollins doing a lot of attempting to run away. Lesnar hit multiple German Suplexes on Rollins. Rollins eventually gained some control and hit a series of kicks and then three super kicks. Rollins set up for the Pedigree, but Lesnar escaped and got Rollins up for an F5. Rollins slipped out and kneed Lesnar in the back, then sent him to ringside. Rollins hit several suicide dives. Back in the ring, Brock recovered and hit the seventh suplex. Moments later, he hit the F5 and went for the pin. The ref got to two but then the lights went out and the gong was heard. 

The lights came back on with Undertaker standing in the ring and Rollins gone. Lesnar and Heyman looked shocked. Undertaker got out of an F5 attempt and kicked Lesnar below the belt, then chokeslammed Lesnar. Taker hit a Tombstone Piledriver. Moments later, he hit a second Piledriver. The fans chanted “One More Time,” but Taker dropped down to one knee and stuck out his tongue to pose as his music played. Taker left the ring to go up the ramp. He eventually looked back towards Lesnar, then put his fist up to end the show.

Winner: Seth Rollins vs. Brock Lesnar ended in a no-contest/unannounced finish when The Undertaker interfered.

2014 WWE Extreme Rules Matches (Updated)

As of Monday’s episode of Raw, several new matches were added to the official 2014 WWE Extreme Rules card. Among them will be the first-ever “WeeLC” match featuring Hornswoggle vs. Torito, as well as a Triple Threat match, and the finalized match for the Intercontinental Title. These three matches join several other great bouts on a stacked card for Sunday’s big event.

The WeeLC match doesn’t feature any stipulations, but one might expect it to mimic the TLC match (Tables, Ladders & Chairs). Hornswoggle and El Torito squared off on Smackdown about a week ago and now will take their feud to the next level. The match is scheduled to appear on WWE’s pre-show for Extreme Rules.

Also joining the card will be the Intercontinental Title match featuring Big E defending his title. Bad News Barrett was the winner of the #1 contender’s tournament after defeating RVD in the tournament finals on Monday’s Raw. Barrett now gets the title shot during the pay-per-view. Van Dam will be inserted into a Triple Threat match against feuding stars Jack Swagger and Cesaro, with no stipulations as of this writing.

Those matches join John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt in the steel cage, Paige vs. Tamina (Divas title), The Shield vs. Evolution, R-Truth and Xavier Woods vs. Alexander Rusev, as well as the big WWE World Championship match. In that matchup, Kane takes on Daniel Bryan for the title in an Extreme Rules match.

The pay-per-view arrives this Sunday at 8 p.m. EST on various cable and satellite providers. WWE mentioned on Raw that DISH and DIRECTV won’t be among those providers on Sunday, but encouraged fans to subscribe to WWE Network online to see the PPV.

2014 WrestleMania 30 Results Coverage (Updated)

Welcome to 2014 WrestleMania 30 results coverage for all of the annual pay-per-view's biggest matches. Below you’ll find recaps and results for each of the matches on the card including tonight’s main event: a Triple Threat WWE World Heavyweight Title match. In that match, current champion Randy Orton defends against 2014 Royal Rumble winner Batista, as well as the winner of tonight’s Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H match. Also on the card, The Undertaker puts his legendary undefeated streak on the line against Brock Lesnar, and John Cena takes on Bray Wyatt.

WrestleMania 30 Pre-Show Match:

The Usos vs. Real Americans vs. Los Matadores vs. RybAxel
Tag Team Championship Fatal Fourway

This match was featured on the WWE Pre-Show exclusively on WWE Network starting at 6 p.m. EST. Los Matadores were first to go in this elimination style Fatal Fourway as Swagger made one of the two submit to the ankle lock. The Usos came in to take the fight to Swagger, but Axel tagged in for Swagger. Rybaxel took control from there. Eventually, Ryback was on a rampage against Swagger. He hit the Meathook Clothesline and then set up for the finisher, but hoisted Swagger up close by to Cesaro. Cesaro pulled Swagger off Ryback and tagged in blindly. Ryback managed to clothesline Swagger out of the ring and then launched Cesaro off the top rope down to the mat. He went for a Meathook but Cesaro avoided it and got him into the Neutralizer to eliminate Rybaxel. It came down to Usos vs. Real Americans. At one point, Swagger had the ankle lock on one of the Usos, but the other came in to break things up. Cesaro grabbed him for a Neutralizer and then the other Uso hit a Samoan backdrop. The finish saw Cesaro got throw into Swagger on the apron, knocking Swagger off the apron to the floor. With Cesaro down on the mat, the Usos hit a double splash off opposite corners for the win

Winners: The Usos defeated The Real Americans via pinfall to retain the WWE Tag Team Championship.

WrestleMania 30 PPV Results:

The show opened with host Hulk Hogan coming to the ring to introduce the show. At one point he forgot which arena they were in and called it the Silverdome. The 75,000-plus fans corrected Hulkster. Soon after his speech was underway, broken glass was heard and Stone Cold made his entrance to the ring. Stone Cold paced for a bit and polled the crowd if they wanted him to whoop whoever was in the ring. They gave him a “hell yeah,” but Austin refused to do it. He paid massive respect to Hogan for what he’s done for the business. Soon after that, the crowd went crazy as The Rock’s music hit and out came Dwyane “The Rock” Johnson. The three legends stood in the ring at once, with Rock delivering a classic promo about the importance of the two superstars in the ring with him to the history of WWE. He talked up how Cena wouldn’t be there to fight today if not for Hogan’s arrival 29 years ago. He talked about how Daniel Bryan would challenge the Authority tonight, but not unless Stone Cold had challenged the boss and whooped his candy ass years ago. The promo finished with each of the three superstars delivering their traditional line along with the crowd and then doing a beer bash with Austin in the ring.

A video package was shown for the Daniel Bryan and Triple H feud.

Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H

Stephanie McMahon was in ring and made the official intro for her husband, COO Triple H. HHH had a haunting symphony playing for him as he was seated on a throne with scantily-clad women at his sides and foot area. He eventually stood up, removed the skeleton style mask he had on and his real theme music played as he walked to the ring to pose for the crowd with Stephanie applauding for him. Daniel Bryan's music hit soon after with the crowd delivering "Yes" chants as Stephanie sneered at Bryan. Bryan's shoulder was heavily taped with Cole saying it's been hurt for months and it was recently re-injured by HHH.

HHH tried to offer a handshake to start things off, but Bryan kicked his hand away, then went for a quick pinfall. HHH kicked out and soon escaped the ring to regroup with Stephanie. Back in the ring, HHH started to take it to Bryan’s injury to get an advantage. Things went to the outside at one point with HHH tearing up an announcers table and going for a Pedigree on Bryan. Bryan blocked it and fought him off a bit, but HHH yanked Bryan’s arm down against the table as he jumped down. From there, HHH kept on attacking the injury in the ring. Bryan managed to knock HHH out of the ring and went for a running suicide dive, but HHH was ready and hit a punch on him to take control again.

Triple H had the crossface submission locked on Bryan for a bit, but Bryan managed to reverse it and put on the Yes! Lock. He had HHH in agony, but Stephanie urged him on to finally grab the ropes to break things. HHH fell to the outside, but Bryan did a running dive on him to crash into the barrier. Bryan got back up and did a second running dive to further punish HHH. Back in the ring, Bryan connected on multiple kicks with the crowd yelling “Yes!” each time. Bryan couldn’t score the pinfall as HHH kicked out after 2. Bryan got the crowd going and went for a running knee, but HHH grabbed him and hit a Spinebuster. Moments later, HHH hit the Pedigree and pinned him, but Bryan miraculously kicked out after 2.

Triple H gained control and went for a Pedigree again to finish Bryan, but D-Bryan blocked it several times. HHH dropped him to the mat and kept kneeing Bryan in the head. He picked him up for a slam, but Bryan flipped over HHH’s back then delivered a huge running knee to finally finish off HHH for the pinfall win.

Post-match, Bryan led the crowd in "Yes" chants ecstatically. Stephanie McMahon came in the ring to check on her husband, but instead walked up to Bryan and slapped him in the face several times. Bryan smirked about it, but all of a sudden, HHH clotheslined him down from behind. Triple H yanked Bryan over to the corner of the ring and yanked his bad shoulder against the ring post, then grabbed a steel chair to smash against his arm. Stephanie got in Bryan's face mockingly saying "Aw poor Daniel," a few times before she left with HHH up the ramp.

Winner: Daniel Bryan defeated Triple H via pinfall to advance to the Triple Threat match for the WWE World Heavyweight title.

The Shield vs. New Age Outlaws & Kane

New Age Outlaws started to come out to the ring delivering their standard entrance speech, but were interrupted by Shield’s music. Shield arrived through the crowd wearing special protective masks. Suddenly, Kane’s pyro hit and he arrived out as Lillian finished the intros of each team. The Shield quickly grabbed control of things with their opponents barely able to get involved. Reigns scored multiple Superman punches on all of the opposition. At one point he hit a Spear on Kane right after Rollins and Ambrose did a double suicide dive out of the ring onto all three opponents. The Shield finished with a double power bomb on New Age Outlaws, with Rollins scoring the winning pinfall. Shield celebrated the victory and put their fists in together after. Winners: The Shield won via pinfall over New Age Outlaws and Kane.

Andre the Giant Memorial 30-Man Battle Royal

Most of the superstars were already in the ring for the battle royal with Big Show making his official entrance to complete the field. In the early going, Brodus Clay and Great Khali were eliminated one after the other to get rid of two of the behemoths in the match. 3MB tossed out Zack Ryder. Next out was Darren Young as he got tossed over the top. Mark Henry eliminated all 3 members of 3MB but then Big Show dumped out Henry. At one point, Fandango and Big E fought on the apron. Surprisingly, Fandango managed to deliver multiple strikes and a big kick to cause Big E to fall out. Unfortunately, Fandango didn't get back in the ring and kept shaking his hips on the outside. Sheamus took advantage and grabbed him for about 20 chest strikes on the apron, then shoved Fandango to the floor. Alberto Del Rio eliminated Goldust with his big kick to the head, then moments later eliminated Rhodes.

At one point, Cesaro had several impressive European uppercuts and seemed to throw Kofi Kingston out over the ringpost to the floor. Kofi's feet didn't hit the floor with one landing on the steel steps, so he was allowed back into the match. Moments later, Cesaro connected on a multiple swing Cesaro Swing on Kofi.

It came down to a final four of Del Rio, Sheamus, Big Show and Cesaro. Sheamus got Del Rio up in the Celtic Curse but Del Rio countered and put a Cross Armbreaker. Sheamus powered up and picked up Del Rio then went to dump him out of the ring, but had to use all his power to do it an fell out with him. It was down to Cesaro versus Big Show with Show seeming to have control and the win. However, Cesaro managed to slide off Show's shoulders on the throw out attempt. He clotheslined Show into the ropes then lifted him up with pure might to dump Big Show out over the top rope.

Winner: Cesaro wins the Andre the Giant Memorial 30-Man Battle Royal after eliminating Big Show.

John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt

An elaborate dark and fiery setting was up on stage with a woman dancing around rhythmically until finally the flames shot up after she knelt down. The Wyatts showed up on the screen with Bray lighting a lantern and telling “New Orleans, we’re here” before blowing the lamp out. From there, Mark Crozer and his band (wearing masks) played The Wyatt Family theme song “Live in Fear” to bring out the Wyatts for their match. John Cena made his entrance next to a selection of boos and cheers from the crowd. He stood on the ramp staring down at the ring where the Wyatts were.

As Cena slid into the ring, Harper and Rowan stayed in front of the ring corner that Bray sat on. They stared Cena down to deliver the fear factor a bit before the bell. Finally things started and Bray knelt down in the center of the ring with his arms wide open. Bray yelled "Finish me John, show them the monster you are!" Cena kept telling Wyatt to get up and fight. Wyatt finally charged at Cena in the corner, but Cena put on a headlock and brought him down to get things started.

Cena finally snapped at one point and as Bray tried to run at him in the corner, Cena delivered a huge clothesline to level him. Cena caught himself in the corner then turned around and rushed over to pounce on Wyatt, pounding on him. As he stood up, Bray licked his fingers after the attack and laughed that he'd gotten into Cena's head finally. The ref had to keep backing Cena off from attacking Wyatt too much. At one point, Wyatt had to order Harper and Rowan to get off the apron and let Cena continue. Cena tried to attack Wyatt again, but this time Bray was ready and hoisted Cena up in the Attitude Adjustment style move to throw Cena to the mat.

At one point, Cena managed to deliver his move set and drop Wyatt onto his back, then set up for the Five Knuckle Shuffle. However, as Cena went off the ropes, Wyatt had put himself into the crabwalk causing Cena to fall to the mat shocked at what he saw. Rowan got on the apron so Cena took a swipe at him and missed, allowing Wyatt to strike. Later still, Cena jumped off the corner to try to take down Wyatt, but Wyatt caught him in a powerbomb pin for the near fall.

Things spilled to the outside when Cena jumped off the corner to take out Harper and Rowan on the outside. Bray came storming over, grabbed Cena and whipped him into the steel steps. Moments later he prepared to smash part of the steps onto Cena, but Cena avoided it then tossed Bray over the steps. Cena picked up part of the steps and was ready to smash them on Bray but stopped himself.

Bray tossed Cena to the outside and one of the Family put out both arms for Cena to come to him. Cena charged and tackled him through the barricade. Bray saw it and rushed out and over to attack Cena. Moments later, back in the ring, Bray set up for Sister Abigail, but Cena countered and put on the STF. Bray managed to get over to the ropes to break it.

At one point, Bray brought a chair into the ring. One of the Family tried to get in the ring but the ref backed him off. Bray slid the chair to Cena then knelt down before him and yelled “Finish me” several times. Cena stood with the chair in hand and went forward but instead ran over and smashed the family member off the apron, then dropped the chair. Bray tried to grab Cena for Sister Abigail, but Cena avoided it and hit the AA for the big win.

Winner: John Cena wins via pinfall over Bray Wyatt.

They brought out this year’s Hall of Fame class members: Lita, Carlos Colon, Mr. T, Razor Ramon, Jake the Snake Roberts, Paul Bearer (represented by his sons) and Ultimate Warrior.

They showed Daniel Bryan getting medical attention backstage after the earlier attack by Triple H.

A video package for Undertaker's streak and Brock Lesnar as challenger this year was shown.

The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar

Lesnar made his entrance first, setting off a set of pyro on stage as he threw his arms down. After that, a video entrance package played about Undertaker’s various “victims” during his streak with coffins shown on stage inscribed with the names of the defeated opponents. A 22 casket was shown with Lesnar’s name on it. Taker’s bell eventually sounded and the smoke went off as Taker came out from backstage to his theme music. He eventually stopped and looked over at the Lesnar coffin and its lid opened. Moments later, Taker caused the casked to light on fire before walking down the ramp to the ring. As Taker got on the ring steps, he brought the lights back on and flames shot up from the coffins up on stage.

The bell sounded and Taker immediately started to punch away. Moments later, Lesnar gained control with a suplex to toss Taker across the ring. Lesnar clotheslined Taker out of the ring but Taker landed right on his feet, then got on the apron to battle with Lesnar. 

At one point, Taker seemed in control of things but as he charged at Lesnar, Brock moved from the corner. Taker ran into the corner and got his leg tweaked on the ropes. Brock took advantage and targeted the leg, eventually smashing it against the ring post. He continued to punish Taker on the outside, smashing him to the ground.

At one point both guys were out of it and fell to the mat for a bit. They got to their feet and Taker gained control with several punches and a whip of Lesnar to the corner followed by multiple clotheslines in the corner. Taker hit Snake Eyes dropping Lesnar face first onto the corner, then delivered a big boot and an elbow drop for another near fall. Heyman screamed at Brock to watch out. Taker grabbed him for a chokeslam and hit it for the cover. However, Brock managed to get a shoulder up before 3.

Moments later, Lesnar got Taker up and hit the F5 on him for a pinfall attempt. However, Taker kicked out of it before 3 to keep the streak alive. Lesnar got cocky a bit later and slowly approached Taker to grab him off the mat. Taker quickly responded by locking Lesnar into Hell’s Gate submission. Lesnar stood up and slammed Taker down to the mat to break it.

Taker was still on the mat and once again managed to grab Lesnar for another Hell's Gate near the center of the ring. Once again after several moments, Lesnar powered up with Taker in his clutches and slammed him to the mat to break the hold. Moments later, Taker crawled over for a cover on Brock, but Lesnar grabbed him for the Kimora submission he's used on others. Taker cried out in pain during the hold. Taker managed to reverse the hold and put Lesnar into it causing Lesnar to cry out. Neither man would tap though.

Taker managed to get to his feet and went for Old School from the top rope on Lesnar. However, Brock grabbed him from the ropes onto his shoulders to deliver another F5. Another pinfall attempt and Taker barely escaped it in time. Lesnar followed with several German Suplexes to slam Taker to the mat.

Another spot saw Lesnar pounding away on Taker in the corner. However, Taker responded by lifting Lesnar carrying him forward a few steps and hitting the Last Ride. He waited for Lesnar to get up and then picked him up for the Tombstone Pildriver, delivering it. Taker put Lesnar’s arms crossed over his chest and pinned him. Surprisingly, Lesnar kicked out before 3.

The close saw Taker give the cutthroat signal. He grabbed Lesnar for another finisher, but this time Lesnar escaped it, hoisted Taker up on his shoulders and delivered a third F5. This one was good enough for the win as Lesnar completed the pinfall for the win. The bell sounded and complete shock filled the arena, with Heyman rushing into the ring to hug Lesnar yelling “you did it, you did it!” Lesnar and Heyman along with the announcers were in disbelief. The stat on the screen showed 21-1.

After Lesnar and Heyman left the ring, Taker struggled to get up multiple times with the fans chanting for him. He looked groggy and fought off tears as he finally stood up with fans still chanting for him. All of the announcers stood up to give a standing ovation to Taker with JBL saying "he's the greatest I ever fought."

Winner: Brock Lesnar won via pinfall over Undertaker to break the legendary undefeated streak.

Vickie Guerrero Divas Championship Invitational

This match featured AJ Lee defending her Divas Championship against the entire divas roster in a single pinfall or submission match. The match featured multiple spots with the various divas including finishers and a suicide dive from the Bella Twins out onto the rest of the roster. The close saw AJ put her Black Widow submission onto Cameron. Cameron struggled not to tap for a bit, but AJ grabbed her arm and hit her hand to the mat to make it look like she tapped. After the bell, Vickie reluctantly handled the Divas belt over to AJ.

Winner: AJ Lee won via submission over Cameron to retain the Divas Championship.

Batista vs. Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan
Triple Threat Match for WWE World Championship

At one point during the match, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H came rushing from out of the crowd near the timekeepers area. Triple H yanked the referee out of the ring as he was trying to count a pinfall for Bryan. From there, Steph and HHH brought crooked ref Scott Armstrong over and sent him in as the new official for the match. Eventually though, Bryan managed to knock him out of the ring. Bryan also hit a running dive onto Steph, HHH and Armstrong on the outside. With Stephanie holding onto her ankle, an enraged Triple H retrieved the sledgehammer from under the ring. He got on the apron and prepared to clock Bryan, but Bryan cut him off, then took the sledgehammer and rammed it into HHH’s gut to knock him off the apron.

Orton and Batista continued to beat up Bryan on the outside as Stephanie, HHH and Scott Armstrong were all escorted up the ramp backstage. Orton and The Animal cleared off two announce tables side-by-side, then Orton stacked steel steps up near them and walked up top. Batista stood Bryan up on the table and prepared a Batista Bomb and as he did Orton jumped and did the RKO with Bryan through the table. In the process, it looked like Orton landed with his back on a TV monitor. With Orton and Bryan both down, Batista came away without any harm. Daniel Bryan was checked on by WWE staff and medical personnel, who eventually decided to strap him onto a stretcher with a neck brace.

Later, Orton and Batista continued to fight in the ring, as Bryan was being wheeled up the ramp. Bryan tore off the neck brace and restraints to fall off the stretcher. Orton rushed over and beat up Bryan then tossed him into the steels steps for further damage. He rolled Bryan into the  ring, then urged the WWE Universe to give their final respects to Bryan as he dropped down for an RKO. Bryan was quick to grab Orton and put on the Yes! Lock to try to make Orton tap. Batista came in and broke up the hold, then walked over to grab Bryan but got put into the hold himself. Orton had to save Batista from the Yes Lock to keep his title safe for then.

Moments later, Orton dropped down and went for the RKO on Batista, but Batista shoved Orton off to the mat. Batista tried for a running spear on Orton, but Orton leapfrogged him and Batista took down Bryan. Bryan fell to the outside of the ring. Orton finally hit an RKO on Batista, but The Animal kicked out before 3 to send the crowd into a frenzy. With Batista down on the mat, Orton backed up for the running punt kick. Out of nowhere, Bryan rushed in an delivered a running knee to Orton. Batista quickly grabbed Bryan away from a pin and tossed him out of the ring.

Batista finally hit a Batista Bomb on Orton but before he could officially make a pinfall cover, Bryan was back in the ring and hit a running knee to take down Batista for good. With Orton trying to get into the ring, Bryan grabbed Batista into the Yes! Lock and after several moments, Batista tapped out, giving Bryan the championship belts. The crowd chanted Yes! with Bryan as he stood up on the announcers table with the two belts and fireworks shot off in the arena. Confetti poured from the rafters as Bryan celebrated in the ring with the titles. The show closed with an emotional Bryan in the ring holding up the belts as his theme music continued to play and Cole wished fans a good night.

Winner: Daniel Bryan won via submission over Batista in a Triple Threat match to become new WWE World Heavyweight champion.

2013 WWE Hell in a Cell Live Online & TV Viewing Info

The 2013 WWE Hell in a Cell pay-per-view comes full force at the WWE Universe on Sunday, October 26.  The American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida will serve as host for the latest edition of this event, which will feature a free live streaming online match and of course the main pay-per-view matches via TV or live internet feed from WWE.  Among those in action will be Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton for the WWE Championship and John Cena making his return from injury to take on Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship.

The WWE Hell in a Cell live streaming "kickoff show" gets going at 7:30 p.m. EST.  In action will be Big E Langston as he takes on Curtis Axel for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.  This match will be shown live online via video feed through WWE's YouTube channel, Facebook page or website, as well as the Yahoo! Sports websites.  There will also be a special panel of wrestling personalities on hand to discuss all the upcoming matches for the PPV, with previews and video highlights as well.

2013 WWE Hell in a Cell Live Online Match Announced

A 2013 WWE Hell in a Cell live online match was announced during Monday's episode of Raw on USA.  It will feature Curtis Axel defending his Intercontinental Championship against Big E Langston with the match free of charge and live streaming through various WWE sources.  It may also be available to watch on TV through the pay-per-view channel, but that is unconfirmed as of this update.

Curtis Axel has held the Intercontinental title for a reign of over 130 days as of the pay-per-view arrival.  He first won it back at Payback in June, winning a Triple Threat match against then champion Wade Barrett and The Miz.  Big E Langston has yet to hold the IC title or any of the current gold within the ranks of the WWE.

Fans can watch the WWE Hell in a Cell kickoff show live streaming online on Sunday starting at 7:30 p.m. EST.  To see this match, head over to the WWE's YouTube channel, Facebook page, or website.  Yahoo! may also be presenting the match live online and it may be featured on the pay-per-view TV channels.

Montague is also looking to throw his name in the title discussion, coming off four straight wins.

Gilbert "El Nino" Melendez takes on Diego Sanchez. Melendez the former Strikeforce Lightweight champion, coming off a controversial decision to then lightweight champion Benson Henderson looks to get back into title contention against The Ultimate Fighter Season 1 champion Sanchez. This fight has the potential to be the fight of the night because of the exciting fighting styles of both fighters.

Daniel "DC" Cormier takes on Roy Nelson (20-8-0). There is a little bad blood in this fight between the undefeated Olympic wrestler Cormier, and the hard hitting Nelson. Cormier will be looking to solidify his position as the number one contender to the heavyweight belt held by Cain Velasquez with a win over Nelson.

Cain Velasquez takes on Junior Dos Santos (16-2-0). In the main event of this pay per view, Junior Dos Santos is looking to avenge his only defeat in the UFC against Velasquez who lost the heavyweight belt to Dos Santos in his only UFC loss, but regained it in the rematch. Dos Santos made quick work of Velasquez in the first fight, and Velasquez dominated him in the rematch. Both fighters are used to each other’s fighting style now, which should make for a great main event.

It's possible that some of WWE's biggest stars may be watching this event, either live in person, live on TV or live online.  Some of the notable pro wrestling stars who are fans of the sport include CM Punk, Brock Lesnar, and The Undertaker.  Lesnar has been a former UFC champion himself.

Previewing the Main Bout
Based on the stats, Jon "Bones" Jones  (18-1) and Alexander "The Mauler" Gustaffson (15-1) have exactly the same weight of 205 pounds, with the latter being an inch taller. However, height does not determine victory inside the "octagon."  Many fans will be betting on "Bones" to win the match considering the fact he has more significant strikes and grappling success throughout the history of his UFC career. Nonetheless, both fighters also have similar records, so while Jones may be the champ and the heavy favorite, anything is possible in sports.

Jones is currently considered the best pound-for-pound fighter in the business, so it's no surprise he's the favorite Saturday night to win and retain his title. As for Gustaffson, many have good faith in his swift movements, which they believe could leverage his battling tactics to success.  Current odds have Jones listed as the favorite at -900, while the underdog Gustaffson is priced at +550 for bettors.

The live stream pre-show will be online starting at 7:30 p.m. and is called "Payback Kickoff."  This PPV's pre-show will feature Sheamus and Damien Sandow attempting to prove who's better in the ring, after weeks of feuding on Raw and SmackDown.  A win for either could propel them into a title picture.  The pre-show will last a half hour and features pre-PPV hype and video promos leading up to the main show.  You can watch Payback Kickoff online live via WWE's Facebook, YouTube channel, website and at Yahoo! website.

The 2013 Payback Pay-Per-View gets started at 8 p.m. EST.  There's a variety of title matches on the card, with Kaitlyn defending the Divas title against AJ, Wade Barrett defending the Intercontinental Title against The Miz and Curtis Axel (triple threat), and Dolph Ziggler defending the World Championship against Alberto Del Rio.  Also, Dean Ambrose faces Kane with Ambrose's US title on the line, while Reigns and Rollins of Shield put their tag titles up for grabs against Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan.

Don't forget there is the return of CM Punk to the ring, who really hasn't been seen for months since his strange promo on Raw after losing to Undertaker at WrestleMania.  Chris Jericho baited Paul Heyman into a challenge to let him face Punk at Payback so he could show who is "best in the world."  Will Punk have ring rust, or pick up the big win tonight?

The main event will likely feature John Cena as he defends the WWE title against Ryback.  The two have been trying to damage each other for weeks, and tonight they get a "3 Stages of Hell" match.  One stage features Lumberjacks, another stage features a Tables match, and a final stage is the Ambulance match (if necessary).  Most likely, someone's leaving with the WWE title, while the loser of the match is leaving for the E.R. tonight!

WWE fans can watch the Payback event live streaming online through WWE's website and various apps they have.  It can also be ordered to watch live on cable or satellite providers such as DISH Network, DirecTV, Comcast, Verizon FIOS, and many others around the world.  It all starts at 8 p.m. EST with a running time of about 3 hours.

2013 Royal Rumble Participants: Entry & Elimination Positions

Last night's Royal Rumble was the standard 30-man match that is held each January, with the winning superstar getting a headline match at WrestleMania 29.  John Cena won the event, which had some interesting surprises and spots.  The grand finale came down to Cena vs. Ryback, with Cena able to escape Ryback's clutches and send him over the top rope for the win.

Listed down below are the complete orders of entry for all of the 2013 Royal Rumble participants.  In parentheses next to the individuals are the spot at which they were eliminated and by which superstar(s).  There were several guys eliminated by multiple superstars.

There were also at least two eliminations which were done by superstars who had been eliminated right before.  They include Kane dropping his partner Daniel Bryan on the outside floor after catching him, and Wade Barrett yanking Bo Dallas out of the ring after Bo had just eliminated Barrett not long beforehand.  Dallas had an impressive debut nonetheless, as he entered at #16 and lasted for a good portion of the match.

A few records were noted during the match, including the fact Cena won his second-ever Royal Rumble.  He joins Stone Cold Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels and Hulk Hogan as the only wrestlers to win two or more Royal Rumbles.  Also, it was noted that Kane had entered his record 14th straight Royal Rumble match.  As for The Godfather, he may very well have tied Santino Marella for quickest elimination, but that remains to be determined.

2013 Royal Rumble Live Viewing Info

The 2013 Royal Rumble gets going Sunday night from Phoenix, AZ with a 30-Man Royal Rumble match headlining the card.  Also on the card, is the epic first-time ever battle featuring The Rock vs. CM Punk for the WWE Championship.  With Punk having held the title for over a year's reign, will The Rock finally end his time s champion?  Fans will be able to watch it live streaming online and on Pay-Per-View via cable or satellite TV.

It all starts at 7:30PM EST with the special live stream online pre-show.  Featured on this special half hour pre-Rumble show will be a United States Championship match.  Current champ, Antonio Cesaro takes on The Miz.  These two have been at it for weeks, but will Miz finally be able to take back the title for his third reign, or will Cesaro continue his obnoxious bragging rights?  The live streaming pre-show will be shown online via WWE's YouTube, Facebook and official website.

At 8PM EST the Royal Rumble Pay-Per-View goes live with four matches listed on the event card, so far.  In one match, tag team champions Hell No defend their titles against Rhodes Scholars (Cody Rhodes & Damien Sandow).  Now that Hell No appears to be on the same page, will they prove stronger than their competition, or are the Rhodes Scholars going to be smart enough to grab the championship belts?

Another title match will have Alberto Del Rio defending his WWE World Heavyweight title against Big Show.  This one's a Last Man Standing Match where the first one who is unable to make it to their feet to answer the ref's ten count, loses!  Del Rio won the title from Big Show in this manner by pushing the announcers table onto his opponent.  However, Show did a similar feat on Friday's episode of Smackdown, leaving many wondering if Del Rio will be 100% on Sunday to defend the title.

The Rock hasn't held the WWE Championship in ten years, and he's looking to reclaim the gold so he can headline WrestleMania 29.  However, CM Punk has been one of the longest reigning champions in recent times.  Will Punk manage to overcome yet another top notch Superstar, aka "The Great One" to hold onto the title?  Or will The Rock reclaim the championship belt?  Remember, if The Shield gets involved, CM Punk is stripped of the title, according to Mr. McMahon.

And then there's the Royal Rumble, the main event, the top attraction of the night.  In this 30-man match, wrestlers come to the ring in timed intervals.  Wrestlers are eliminated when they're tossed out of the ring and their feet hit the floor.  The last man remaining in the match is the 2013 Rumble winner.  Many have promised they'll take the prize and headline WrestleMania, but only one can.  Will it be John Cena, Ryback, Sheamus, Orton, Ziggler, or someone else?

2013 Royal Rumble Matches & Participants

With the 2013 Royal Rumble Pay-Per-View just days away, there's currently four matches set up on the card for the latest installment of this exciting event.  They include three championship bouts, and of course, everyone's favorite, the Royal Rumble match itself.  So far the field is not quite set, but it's getting there.

The Royal Rumble this year will feature the traditional 30-man over-the-top-rope battle royal match, with competitors entering in timed intervals.  These competitors will eliminated one another one-by-one, until just one superstar remains in the ring.  That last superstar left will get to headline WrestleMania 29, choosing which major title they want to fight for.  As of right now, Del Rio owns the World Heavyweight title and CM Punk owns the WWE title, but they could very well change Sunday as well. So who is in the Rumble so far?

That puts plenty of gold on the line on Sunday night in addition to the popular Royal Rumble match.  Early favorites to win this year's Rumble are John Cena, with Randy Orton and Sheamus also former winners with a shot to win it again.  Don't forget about Ryback, should he get into the match.

The other predictions seem to have Del Rio retaining (although Ziggler could cash in), and The Rock winning the WWE title back after 10 years by defeating CM Punk.  No matter what, the Royal Rumble usually provides plenty of excitement as fans get started on the Road to WrestleMania!

2012 TLC Live Stream Pre-Show & PPV Schedule

The 2012 TLC Pay-Per-View will be held on Sunday night from Barclay's Center in Brooklyn, New York.  While the original plan was for CM Punk to defend his WWE Championship against Ryback in a TLC match, that changed once Punk required knee surgery.  Now Ryback will team up with Team Hell No (Daniel Bryan & Kane) to take on The Shield in a TLC match.  Other matches on the card will also involve tables, ladders and chairs as part of the stipulations.

Starting at 7:30PM EST, a special live streaming online pre-show hits YouTube, Facebook and the WWE website.  This pre-show, just a half hour before the main PPV starts, will   Also, feature a free match with a Divas "Santa's helper" theme battle royal.  Among the participants are Layla, Kaitlyn, Aksana, Tamina Snuka, Alicia Fox, Naomi, and Cameron.  The winner gets a shot at Eve Torres and her WWE Divas Championship.  The live stream pre-show lasts a half hour and is free of charge for fans to view online.

At 8PM EST, the main Pay-Per-View begins with a stacked card.  Among the titles on the line are the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, the United States Championship, and the Intercontinental Championship.  Also, Rhodes Scholars will take on Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio in a table match, while John Cena will battle Dolph Ziggler in a ladder match.  The winner of that match will also win (or retain) Dolph's Money in the Bank briefcase, good for a championship match at any time, any place.

The 2012 TLC Pay-Per-View from Brooklyn, NY will be the last of the year for WWE, and has an approximate running time of 3 hours.  With the next major PPV the Royal Rumble in 2013, WWE will look to end the year on a high note and look towards great future events!

2012 Survivor Series Results Coverage

Welcome to 2012 Survivor Series results coverage presented from WWE Characters the Blog. In this updated blog post you'll find the latest match-by-match results from the latest WWE Pay-Per-View. Survivor Series will be held Sunday, November 18th, in Indianapolis, with live streaming and TV presentation of the event.

Among the major matches on this card will be CM Punk trying to extend his nearly-one-year WWE Championship reign. To do so, he'll have to win a tough Triple Threat match against John Cena and Ryback. Also defending titles on the card will be Big Show defending the World Championship against Sheamus, Eve defending her Divas title against Kaitlyn, and Antonio Cesaro defending the United States title against R-Truth. There's also a traditional Survivor Series elimination tag match.

That match pits Team Foley (The Miz, Kofi Kingston, Daniel Bryan and Kane) against Team Ziggler (Dolph Ziggler, Alberto Del Rio, Wade Barrett, Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow). There's been some gossip that Rhodes might not be cleared to go, so a mystery man may take his place. Which team will prevail in this elimination match?

Survivor Series starts with the 7:30PM live stream pre-show featuring 3MB taking on Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd. As the match concludes, you'll find the updated results below for that match and all the others from the main card starting at 8PM EST.

Survivor Series Online Pre-Show

The special live online pre-show opened from Indianapolis with Scott Stanford and Matt Striker.  They showed fans still filing into the arena, then talked about how Team Ziggler needs a fifth wrestler due to Cody Rhodes tearing his trapezius and deltoid muscles in a match against Kane and Daniel Bryan.

Team Ziggler was shown backstage with his three other superstars, Del Rio, Barrett, Sandow as well as Ricardo Rodriguez.  Ziggler told them he found a suitable replacement for the team: David Otunga.  His teammates shrugged and groaned at the news.  Del Rio told the other superstars to listen to their captain because he needs them since most likely he'll be eliminated in the first 5 minutes.  Ziggler tried to rally the team asking if they're with him, but they didn't seem to be on the same page.

A video package was shown for the Big Show vs. Sheamus World Championship rematch tonight.

Santino Marella & Zack Ryder vs. 3MB
Free Live Pre-Show Match

3MB arrived to the ring first in true rockstar fashion, with Slater leading the air guitar jam session in the ring as their theme music played.  For 3MB, Mahal and Slater competed, with McIntyre staying at ringside.  Ryder started off against Mahal and took the early control before tagging in Santino.  Striker talked about how he doesn't like anything about Ryder.  Co-Bro worked together on a slingshot move to whip Ryder into Slater.  Ryder had a nearfall after a punch.  Moments later, Drew helped out from ringside by holding Slater's leg against the ropes so Ryder couldn't complete a move.

Jinder Mahal tagged in and had his own near fall on Ryder, before tagging in Slater again for more doubleteaming.  Santino finally got back in and had serious momentum including a flying headbutt.  He pulled out the Cobra, but Mahal interfered to distract him, so Slater could regain control.  Slater and Mahal worked more doubleteaming on Santino.  Striker brought up all the great 3-man bands in history, with Stanford adding RUSH.  They noted David Otunga was trending on Twitter, as Ryder got in to gain momentum.  He hit a missile dropkick on Ryder and got fired up as he knocked Mahal down to the corner and punched Slater off the apron.  He hit the Broski boot but Slater got back in to break up a pinfall.

A brawl broke out as 3MB knocked Santino to the side barrier area.  Ryder was able to hit Slater with the Rough Ryder, and then avoided Mahal in the corner.  The ref was checking on Slater, then Drew got on the apron and hit Ryder from behind.  Mahal with the finisher and the pin, as Drew laid on the commentators table making the 3MB sign.  The 3 Man Band celebreated the win in the ring post-match.

Winners: Heath Slater & Jinder Mahal defeated Zack Ryder & Santino Mahal by pinfall.

They showed footage of the ongoing saga involving Vickie Guerrero and her various evidence against AJ and John Cena on Raw, claiming the two have been having an affair.

Brodus Clay, Justin Gabriel, Tyson Kidd, Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara vs. Darren Young, Titus O'Neil, Rey Primo, Epico and Tensai

This match was a traditional Survivor Series elimination tag match added to the card. After a number of spots, Brodus Clay found himself eliminated by Tensai, after Tensai hit a huge shoulder block and backsplash on him. Next out was Tensai, who Justin Gabriel later eliminated with a surprise backslide pinfall. That left Prime Time Players and Primo/Epico against Gabriel, Kidd, Mysterio and Cara.

Later on, Titus O'Neil got hung up on the top rope and Tyson Kidd landed a huge kick to the back of his head, followed up by a rollup pin to eliminate him.  The match continued with D-Young vs Kidd.  Epico tagged in to continue working Kidd, but ended up in a Sharpshooter instead, causing Epico to tap out.  It came down to Primo and Young against Cara/Mysterio and Kidd/Gabriel.

Rey Mysterio managed to eliminated Primo later on after knocking him off the top rope and hitting several moves.  He missed a 619 but also avoided Primo's Backstabber, then rolled him up to eliminate him.  With that it came down to D-Young for the other team, who got hit with the 619, then a swan ton from Cara off the top.  Gabriel then hit a springboard moonsault, and Kidd hit an elbow on him from off the top.  Rey finished him with the big splash off the top rope to win for his team.

Winners: Rey Mysterio, Sin Cara, Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd are the sole survivors of the traditional elimination match, with Darren Young the final elimination via pinfall.

Kaitlyn vs. Eve
WWE Divas Championship Match

Prior to the match, Kaitlyn was walked backstage when a woman in a blonde wig attacked her.  Kaitlyn fought back and revealed it was Aksana.  Eve showed up and acted concerned for Kaitlyn, but Kaitlyn shoved her to the ground.

Late in their match, Kaitlyn had control after Eve slipped on a top rope move.  Kaitlyn shoved Eve down to the apron, and then knocked her to the outside floor.  Eve began begging Kaitlyn for mercy on the outside, but Kaitlyn smacked her around and threw Eve around by her hair several times.  Kaitlyn landed a huge clothesline and dropped Eve once again.  In the ring, she put Eve on her shoulders and dropped her with a gut buster move for a 2 count.  However, Eve managed to fool Kaitlyn into going to the outside, and got the advantage.  She brought Kaitlyn back to the ring where she finished her with the big neck breaker for the pin.

Winner: Eve defeated Kaitlyn via pinfall to retain the WWE Divas Championship.

Backstage The Miz is arguing with Kofi Kingston, while D-Bryan and Kane are also arguing.  Orton is standing by. Mick Foley walks in and tells them to stop, giving a pep talk.  Foley tells them to do a hand touch and "Bang Bang" on 3.  Everyone does it except Orton.  Foley asks if he's with them, but Orton says he hates Foley, then leaves.

R-Truth vs. Antonio Cesaro
United States Championship Match

Cesaro was in control late after hitting a big gut wrench for a 2 count pinfall.  Truth made a comeback and got a rollup pinfall for a 2 count of his own.  Truth had to make another big comeback against Cesaro late in the match, but then ran into Cesaro's boot in the corner.  However, Truth managed to hit a heel kick on Cesaro.  Late in the match, Truth missed when he went for a scissor kick.  Cesaro hit a huge uppercut, then his finisher, the Neutralizer, to get the winning pin.

Winner: Antonio Cesaro defeated R-Truth via pinfall to retain the US Championship.

AJ Lee arrived out to the ring to confront the innuendos and "evidence" being presented by Vickie Guerrero about her possible affair with Cena.  AJ says Vickie's a witch, or a word that rhymes with "witch."  Vickie comes out angry.  AJ begins to reveal some of her own "evidence" about Vickie going out with various WWE stars and personalities.

She shows a picture of Vickie eating burritos at a dinner with Ricardo Rodriguez, then one of Vickie and Jim Ross having BBQ together.  She shows a photo of Vickie in a leopard print bathing suit dancing with Brodus Clay.  Vickie gets more angry, saying she's had enough of this.  AJ says Vickie made up that she had an affair with Cena.  They keep arguing, and AJ says neither one of them can touch the other or they get fired.  All of a sudden, Tamina Snuka rushes out and attacks AJ from behind, leaving her layer out.  Tamina beats up AJ, then climbs to the top rope to hit a Superfly Splash on AJ.  Vickie looks surprised, as Tamina leaves, but Vickie then laughs at AJ.

Backstage, Josh Matthews interviews Paul Heyman.  Matthews asks what tricks CM Punk might have left in order to retain the WWE title tonight in a Triple Threat.  Heyman says Punk is simply the best of the three competitors tonight, hands down.  He calls him best in the world before walking off.

Sheamus vs. Big Show

World Heavyweight Championship

Late in this one, Show and Sheamus traded shots while on their knees on the mat.  They finally got to their feet to continue going at one another.  Show managed to hit a high knee on Sheamus in the corner.  However, Sheamus hit repeated shots on Show's head to knock him down.  Sheamus went for a Brogue Kick, but Show caught his foot and goes for a chokeslam.  Sheamus blocked that, then hit White Noise for a 2 count pinfall.  Sheamus tries for yet another Brogue Kick, but Show pulls the referee in front of it.  Scott Armstrong gets knocked out, so a Doctor comes in to check on him.  Other refs come down to check on Armstrong.  Sheamus goes over to tell Armstrong he's sorry.  As Sheamus turned around, Show clocked him with the KO punch for the win.

Post-match, another referee went over to Justin Roberts.  Roberts announced that Show was disqualified and Sheamus is the winner.  Show starts to argue with the ref about the decision.  Show keeps bullying the ref, until Sheamus gets a steel chair and smashes him with it.  He keeps beating him up.  Show begs Sheamus to step, but Sheamus hits his leg multiple times.  Sheamus lets go of the chair, then connects on a Brogue Kick to late him out.  After replays, Show crawled backstage while the crowd was doing a "We Want Ziggler" chant.

Winner: Sheamus wins due to disqualification of the Big Show.  Big Show retains the World Heavyweight Championship.

Team Foley vs. Team Ziggler
Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match

Team Foley consists of The Miz, Kofi Kingston, Daniel Bryan and Kane. Team Ziggler consists of Dolph Ziggler, Alberto Del Rio, Cody Rhodes, Damien Sandow and Wade Barett. This will be a traditional elimination match with the match continuing as superstars are eliminated until one team is completely eliminated.

The first elimination of the match went to Kane as he grabbed Sandow when he tried to leave the ring.  Daniel Bryan was legal and kicked Sandow, then tagged in Kane, who chokeslammed Sandow for the pin.  The next elimination came later as Daniel Bryan was able to put Otunga into the No Lock, making him tap out to it.

Later in the match, Kofi was on fire and hit a cross body on Del Rio for a near fall.  Barrett tagged in, and Kofi got distracted by Ziggler.  Barrett hit the tilt-a-whirl slam on Kofi then a big elbow to get the pinfall.  Kofi was eliminated.  Later on, Del Rio battled with Daniel Bryan.  Bryan had the No Lock on him, but Del Rio turned it around, then kicked Bryan in the head and put the Cross Armbreaker on to make Bryan tap out. Kane, Miz and Orton remained for Team Foley against Barrett, Del Rio and Ziggler.

Next elimination came later on as Barrett tried for the Wasteland on Miz, but Miz countered with Skullcrushing Finale to eliminate him instead.  Later still, Miz was battling Del Rio.  He had a near fall but then missed on a clothesline, allowing Del Rio to hit a big kick to the back of Miz's head to pin him.  Later still, Mick Foley got involved at ringside when he pulled Mr. Socko out and punched down Ricardo Rodriguez.

A bit of a brawl happened as Del Rio was accidentally dropkicked by Ziggler.  Orton took advantage and sent Ziggler to the corner, then hit an RKO on Del Rio to pin and eliminate him.  It came down to Ziggler versus Orton.  Ziggler went for a leg drop, but Orton blocked that, then hit his DDT from the ropes.  Ziggler was bleeding a bit.  Orton thought over his next moves with Ziggler laid out.  He backed up for a punt kick, but Ziggler got up to hit a Superkick and pin Orton instead.

Winners: Dolph Ziggler is the sole survivor for Team Ziggler after eliminating Randy Orton by pinfall last.

In the final moments of the main event, Punk had nailed GTS on Cena for a 2 count.  Cena got up and hit the AA but Punk managed to kick out at 2.  Punk battled Cena a bit, with Cena trying for the STF.  Punk kicked Cena away, then hit a high knee on Cena in the corner moments later.  Cena finally managed to lock the STF after blocking Punk's bulldog, but Ryback yanked Cena out of the ring.  Ryback hit a huge clothesline to Cena on the outside.  Back in the ring, the crowd is chanting for Ryback and he hits his big clothesline on Punk.  He then hits Shell Shocked and takes the pin, but Cena comes in to break things up.

Cena goes for the AA on Ryback, but Ryback gets out of it then hits Shell Shocked on Cena.  Suddenly, three guys dressed in black rush to the ring and beat up Ryback.  They take him out of the ring, and Powerbomb him through a table at ringside.  Punk gets to a crawl and gets on Cena for the winning pin.

Post-match, Heyman and Punk head backstage celebrating.  Ryback is still recovering at ringside as Punk and Heyman continue gloating about the big win.

Winner: CM Punk wins via pinfall over John Cena to retain the WWE Championship.

2012 Survivor Series Live Stream Pre-Show & PPV Lineup

The 2012 Survivor Series hits us full force on Sunday night, with a live streaming pre-show and then the main Pay-Per-View event on cable, satellite, and live stream feed as well.  The event features several championships matches, and of course a good old fashioned, traditional elimination match.  Among the stars competing are John Cena, Randy Orton, Ryback, CM Punk, The Miz, Big Show, Sheamus and many more.

The Survivor Series pre-show will feature a tag team match as 3MB (aka 3 Man Band) will take on the the team of Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd.  3MB is the strangely formed tag team of Heath Slater, Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal, who have taken on rockstar status in the WWE Universe.  It's unknown which two members of the three-man team will be competing, but it has been pointed out that Heath Slater has knowledge of his former tag partner Gabriel and what he brings to the match.  The live streaming pre-show will be available for fans to watch free of charge on YouTube, Facebook and the WWE website starting at 7:30PM EST and running for just a half hour.

The main Pay-Per-View gets started at 8PM EST, with a run time of 3 hours.  It will feature the traditional Survivor Series elimination match with Team Foley taking on Team Ziggler.  Each team will start with five members, and the match will continue until a team is completely eliminated.  Will it be Foley's team or Ziggler's standing tall at the end of this one?

Also during the event, the WWE title is up for grabs as longtime champ CM Punk defends in a Triple Threat against John Cena and Ryback.  Punk is currently among the top ten longest reigning WWE champions of all time.  Will Cena or Ryback spoil his reign and attempt to outdo Diesel's reign?

Big Show and Sheamus lock up once again, with the World Championship on the line.  It'll be a singles match, where either the Brogue Kick or KO Punch will probably be the deciding factor.  There's also the possibility that Dolph Ziggler could get involved after the match to try to cash in his MITB briefcase.  Will Big Show, Sheamus, or Ziggler leave as the champion?

All of those matches as well as the divas championship and US title match will be part of the 2012 Survivor Series lineup.  Fans can watch the event via their cable or satellite provider, or by ordering through WWE's website for the live streaming version on PC's and MAC's.  It could be another action-packed and highly-entertaining Pay-Per-View that fans won't want to miss out on this Sunday night!

2012 Hell in a Cell Pre-Show to Live Stream

With the latest edition of WWE's monthly PPV's coming in the form of Hell in a Cell on Sunday, there will be a live streaming 2012 Hell in a Cell pre-show featured ahead of the Pay-Per-View on Sunday night.  With past PPV events, WWE has shown a special match during these, but with this particular pre-show, John Cena will be appearing live so that he can address the WWE Universe.

In Atlanta's Philips Arena, Cena will address the fans regarding recent allegations that came to light on Raw this past Monday.  During the show, it was revealed that the General Manager, AJ Lee, had been "fraternizing" with a member of the wrestling roster.  Later in the show, it was brought to light that the member of the roster was in fact John Cena.  Cena confronted Vince McMahon backstage to say they had only had a business dinner together.  However, the Board of Directors determined that AJ would be investigated, ultimately forcing her to resign as Raw GM, and bringing Vickie Guerrero in charge of Raw.

The major bombshell had some fans shocked and wondering if Cena and AJ were having an affair.  Now Cena will attempt to explain himself and his involvement with AJ Lee to the WWE Universe.  The Hell in a Cell live stream pre-show will begin at 7:30 PM EST.  Fans can watch on YouTube, WWE's Facebook, and at the WWE website.  This pre-show should have a running time of approximately 30 minutes, with the Pay-Per-View beginning at 8PM EST, Sunday night.
