Daniel Bryan & Kane defeated Rhodes Scholars by pinfall to retain the tag team titles.  Late in this one, Kane had control against Sandow.  He hit a sideslam for the nearfall, then punched Rhodes off the side apron area.  Kane hit a huge clothesline off the corner, then hit the Chokeslam.  He tagged in Bryan, who went to the top rope and hit a diving move to get the pinfall.  During the match, Rhodes landed bad after a back bodydrop.  A replay showed he landed on his head.  He was attended to by trainers post-match.

Striker interviewed Team Hell No ringside after their victory.  He asked Daniel Bryan if he thinks he can co-exist with The Miz.  Kane got on the mic to say his reply should be, "Yes, Yes, Yes!" and the crowd started to chant.  Miz got up from the commentary area and offered a handshake.  Bryan shook his head, then yelled "No!" multiple times.  He then tried to hug it out with Miz, but Miz refused to do it and sat back down with Cole on commentary.

They showed a video package about how they whole CM Punk vs. Ryback and Cena Triple Threat match at Survivor Series came about.

Michael Cole interviewed Dolph Ziggler who was standing backstage about his team's chances for Survivor Series.  Ziggler talked about being the leader who won't abandon his team so he thinks his chances are "awesome!"  He talked about how Kofi and Miz hate each other, and so do Kane and Bryan.  He said Orton hates everyone.  Ziggler told Miz to look at Foley who is that big loser who doesn't know when to quit, which will be him some day.  Ziggler and Miz got into a war of words.  Miz asked the last time Ziggler main evented a PPV.  Ziggler said he's the show stealer.  Miz said Ziggler can't even steal the World Heavyweight title.  It ended up with Miz challenging Ziggler to a match on Main event next week.

Smackdown Results 06/15/12

Smackdown Results from Manchester, NH:

The show opened with a higlight video of what happened in the ring on Raw involving Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, John Cena, and Big Show.  A scuffle between Big Show and Cena happened right before Vince was about to fire Laurinaitis.  McMahon got knocked out by a punch thrown by Big Show intended for Cena.

AJ arrived to start off the show, with a clip shown from the Punk & AJ vs. Kane and Bryan match on Raw, where AJ skipped around Kane, then jumped on him and started to kiss him.  AJ started to explain in the ring why she kissed Kane, but was interrupted by Vickie Guerrero, who brought out Dolph Ziggler.  They started to harass AJ in the ring, with Vickie slapping AJ in the face.

CM Punk came out to intervene, telling Dolph he always says he's going to win the big match but never quite delivers, and Vickie just keeps talking him up.  Daniel Bryan came out next to say AJ has Punk wrapped around her little finger, and if she's in his corner at No Way Out, her bad luck for Punk, will bring him the WWE title.  Sheamus came out last and said if everyone's out there now, why not have a match?

Dolph Ziggler and Daniel Bryan defeated Sheamus and CM Punk by pinfall.  Late in the match, Sheamus had the advantage and prepared for a Brogue Kick on Ziggler.  Vickie got on the apron, so AJ went and attacked her, causing AJ to fall in the ring, distracting Sheamus.  Ziggler got a quick rollup pin to steal the win for the heels.

Post-match, Sheamus chased Ziggler through the crowd.  AJ got in the ring with Vickie screaming at her, and then shoving her.  AJ got a crazed look on her face and pounced on Vickie, beating her up on the mat.  Vickie escaped the ring and started crawling up the ramp.  AJ chased her down and grabbed her legs, but Vickie kicked her away hard into the ring.  AJ fell to the floor and Vickie ran off.

Kane's pyro hit and he came down to the ring to pick up AJ and carry her up the ramp.  Suddenly, Punk attacked Kane from behind to save AJ.  Kane and Punk started fighting down the ramp to the ring.  Back in the ring, Bryan got in and started to punch Punk, but then was chokeslammed by Kane.  Punk got up and got chokeslammed as well, followed by Kane making the ringposts explode as AJ watched from the ramp.  She fell to her knees and started laughing as Kane looked up the ramp at her.

Brodus Clay defeated Heath Slater by pinfall.  Prior to the match, Clay talked about how he isn't allowed on WWE Raw or near Big Show, due to John Laurinaitis.  He asked who Johnny's got for him tonight and Slater came out.  Clay dominated from the start in a short match, hitting a splash in the corner, and knocking Slater down to the mat before running the ropes and hitting his splash finisher.  David Otunga came out after Clay's match and attacked him, requiring Clay to get helped backstage.

Beth Phoenix defeated Alicia Fox by pinfall.  Phoenix made relatively quick work of Alicia and hit the Glam Slam with the win, making sure Layla saw her do it.  Layla was on commentary during the match and had a staredown with Phoenix post-match.  These two meet at No Way Out for the Divas championship.

John Laurinaitis and The Big Show came out to cut a promo about No Way Out.

Christian defeated Jack Swagger by pinfall in a non-title match.  Christian hit the Frogsplash for the win.

Ryback defeated Ari Cohen and Mike Testa by pinfall in a squash match.  The two amateurs tried to say everyone thinks they're a joke, so they told a few jokes which had Ryback as the punchline.  Ryback tossed both guys around the ring, including hitting a running splash on both guys in the corner, followed by a clothesline on each.  He finished things by hitting his finisher on them both at the same time.

Damien Sandow defeated Tyson Kidd by pinfall in a quick match.  Late in the match, Kidd did a moonsault flip off the corner onto Sandow for a near fall.  Sandow kicked out and Kidd tried for a Sharpshooter, but Sandow kicked him hard into the corner.  From there, Sandow kneed Kidd in the gut repeatedly, then hit his neckbreaker finisher for the win.

John Cena arrived out for the final segment, talking about his match with Big Show this Sunday.  John Laurinaitis came out to inform Cena that Show has left the building.  Cena says he'll just have to knock out Laurinaitis instead then.  Cena prepares to knock him out, but Laurinaitis tells him if he loses at No Way Out this Sunday, he'll fire Cena on Monday.  JL says if he does he'll be fired, but Cena replies he can't be fired because his match with Big Show has to happen on Sunday.  Cena then knocks out Laurinaitis to end the show.

New 2012 No Way Out Matches Added

As of last night's episode of Raw, two new matches were added for the No Way Out 2012 Pay-Per-View.  One is for the WWE's pre-show online, while the other is part of the main card.

Due to a recent injury suffered by Alberto Del Rio, he's out of action, and out of his championship match against Sheamus.  So to determine a new #1 contender for the World Heavyweight Championship, they held a four man elimination match last night with Christian, Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger, and Great Khali.  Khali was eliminated first, then Jack Swagger, and finally Christian.  That leaves Dolph Ziggler to face Sheamus at the PPV for the title.

The other match announced has a bit less luster, because there's no titles involved.  It will feature Brodus Clay against David Otunga.  That's not exactly a match that will attract a lot of viewers, but should get everyone warmed up with Clay's dancing antics, after he defeats Otunga.

As for the new championship match, Ziggler seemed to be shoved down the mid-card recently, and was really being under used.  It's good to see him back in the main event picture, but WWE should have been pushing him all along for this sort of situation.  It's clear they are in need of stars with Orton and Jericho suspended, and multiple injuries to other stars.  When that happens, they need to have guys like Ziggler, or other established stars ready to go.  Does anyone expect Ziggler to win the title in this match?  Probably not.

Overall, the No Way Out PPV card seems less intriguing than last month's Over the Limit.  However, it's less likely we'll see Cena using BBQ sauce, a fire extinguisher and bottled waters on Big Show inside a steel cage.  So hopefully that match gives fans some of their money's worth.

John Laurinaitis rode out to the ring on his scooter, with Eve and David Otunga with him.  He unveiled the cover of the new WWE 13 video game which had his picture on the front.  He said the game will be bigger than "Pac-Man" and kids will love it.  CM Punk came out to interrupt and had the real cover shown, as a huge banner dropped down which showed him on the real game cover.  He told Laurinaitis the Board of Directors is watching his every move so don't give them more ammunition.  He told JL to get out of the ring since he has a match next against Daniel Bryan.  JL wished him good luck.  After he left the ring, Punk kicked the Laurinaitis poster of the game set up in the ring.

Daniel Bryan defeated CM Punk by pinfall in a non-title match.  AJ came to ringside for the match wearing a Punk t-shirt.  At one point in the match, Bryan pulled a turnbuckle cover off and the ref didn't see it.  AJ got on the apron to tell the ref but he yelled at her to get down.  Punk told her she couldn't be out there like that.  Punk ran at Bryan after, but Bryan picked him up and dropped Punk on the exposed turnbuckle before pinning him.

Post-match, Bryan was doing his "Yes!" chant repeatedly when Kane came out to the ring and smashed him with a chair.  Kane then did a chokeslam on Bryan.  AJ slid a chair in the ring to Punk who hit Kane with it until he fled the ring.

Christian defeated The Miz in a non-title match.  Cody Rhodes sat ringside to help provide commentary.  Late in the match, Miz went for Skullcrushing Finale.  Christian countered into an attempted Killswitch.  Miz broke free of it, but moments later Christian hit the move and then his new Frogsplash move for the pinfall win.  Christian showed the belt to Cody Rhodes who left to go backstage.

They had a backstage segment in Laurinaitis' office where he talked to Eve and Otunga.  Eve sent Teddy Long away to go get coffee for her.  JL told Eve and Otunga he was disappointed in recent events on Smackdown and needed to know he can count on them.  They said he can.  Teddy returned with a coffee for Eve.  She spit it out on him saying it was cold, but Teddy told her it was ice coffee.

The Miz stayed in the ring after losing to Christian.  He began ranting about how his latest match wasn't even for the Intercontinental title and he wants it stricken from the record books.  He said he won the WrestleMania match for Team Johnny, and questioned where his contract, video game cover and championship matches were.

Randy Orton's music hit and he interrupted Miz.  Orton came to the ring with Miz talking trash at him.  Orton dropped him with the RKO without even saying a word.

They showed Dolph Ziggler backstage with Vickie, pointing to Orton on the monitor.  He said that needs to be him, and told Vickie to get him out of the tag team scene and out there by himself.

Sheamus defeated David Otunga by pinfall in a non-title match.  They reminded fans that Sheamus will defend his World Championship against Del Rio at No Way Out.  Late in the match, Otunga was up on the apron and Sheamus repeatedly bashed his fist on his chest.  He followed with White Noise, then backed up to the corner and began pounding his chest.  As Otunga got up and turned around, Sheamus connected on the Brogue Kick to take him down for the pinfall.

They showed Brodus Clay walking backstage with his Funkettes dancing by his side.  Cole said Brodus won't be walking after his match tonight, according to Big Show.

The Big Show and Brodus Clay match never officially started.  Brodus Clay made his entrance with the Fukadactyls.  They danced in the ring before Clay's pyro went off.  Show's music hit and he arrived out on stage with a mic in his hand.  He said he actually admired Clay, and brought up how Show felt like a sellout back at the Wrestlemania he wore a diaper for a sumo match.  He said Clay's selling out on a nightly basis.  He said maybe Clay can put on some makeup and be the next "Doink the Clown."  Show said only thing is Doink actually had talent.

Clay was upset by the trash talk and got down out of the ring to the bottom of the ramp.  Show kept talking and then finally rushed down to spear tackle Clay down into the ringside area.  He kept beating up on him around the ringside area, with Clay trying to come back with some punches.  Show slammed him into the ringpost several times.

Kofi Kingston rushed to the ring and tried to jump off the steel steps at Show. Show caught him mid-air and then saw R-Truth running over, so he threw Kofi onto Truth.  The tag team champs were layed out near the barrier, as Show walked over to the commentary table and scared Cole/Lawler away.  He stepped through the table to break it, then took one of the side pieces of the table to smash on Brodus Clay.

Show kept tossing everyone around, including throwing Truth against the ropes from the outside of the ring, and tossing Kingston through the timekeepers area.  He finally wound up his WMD KO punch and clocked Clay in the face, then glared at the audience.

Cole and Lawler recapped what Show just did, showing replays of all of the big spots.  Show walked around the ring and stopped at a fan in the front row holding a Sellout sign.  Show's theme song played as he started to walk up the ramp.

John Laurinaitis came out on the stage with his crutch to greet Show.  Laurinaitis raised up Show's hand smiling.  Cole said things will be different next week when John Cena is back on Raw.  Clay was shown layed out ringside before another shot of Show and Laurinaitis was seen as Raw went off air.

Raw Preview 8/29/11

Tonight's episode of Raw comes just a few weeks ahead of the September WWE, Pay-Per-View, Night of Champions. At the event, Alberto Del Rio is scheduled to defend the WWE Championship against the new #1 contender, John Cena. Cena has called out Del Rio for a cheap title reign, since he cashed in his MITB briefcase at Summerslam on a beaten up CM Punk. Last week, Cena defeated Punk to get the #1 contender spot, but was quickly attacked post-match by an angry Del Rio. With that in mind, will Cena be looking to answer back on tonight's show?

Speaking of revenge, it's likely that CM Punk wants to extract some as well. His target is Kevin Nash, the man who has now cost him the WWE Championship and the #1 contender spot at Night of Champions. Nash punched CM Punk earlier on Raw last week, before interrupting the main event match, distracting Punk and allowing Cena to get the victory. Nash told Punk that there dispute isn't over yet, and that's apparenty after last week's incidents. What will CM Punk have to say about Kevin Nash and Triple H on tonight's episode?

Also, last week saw the crowning of brand new tag team champions. Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne were able to defeat David Otunga and Michael McGillicutty of New Nexus to capture the championship belts. It's likely that the New Nexus former champs will want a rematch as soon as possible. Will it be on tonight's episode of Raw?

Check out WWE Raw's latest episode tonight at 9PM EST on USA!

Late in the match, Gail hit a flying dropkick from the corner to take down Melina. Gail seemed out of it too. Melina kicked her away as Gail tried to grab her by the leg from the ropes area. Melina went after her but Gail avoided it so Melina fell into a split on the mat. Gail rolled her up and pinned her for the win.

Matthews and Stanford talked about how R-Truth's conspiracy theories continued into Capitol Punishment. Stanford said it looks like the Little Jimmies got their revenge.

Santino and Kozlov arrived out for a non-title tag team match against the champs.

Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov vs. Michael McGillicutty & David Otunga

During the match, Santino finally got some control against Otunga and threatened to strike with The Cobra. Otunga rolled out of the ring to regroup. Santino went over to Kozlov and had him help him unwind the Cobra fist.

Later still, Santino gained control against Otunga. Kozlov tagged in and continued the onslaught. He managed to catch Otunga on a move from the ropes and tossed him overhead with a slam throw. Otunga regrouped on the outside with McGill as Superstars took a break.

With the action back, Santino was legal against Otunga, and trying to stretch to tag Kozlov. Otunga grabbed his leg and pulled him towards the other corner to tag in McGillicutty. Santino finally made the tag to Kozlov who came in and headbutted McGill numerous times in the chest, then tossed him onto the corner for more punishment. Kozlov with a huge powerslam but Otunga rushed into break it up. Santino came in, but Otunga pulled the top rope down and Marella fell out. Kozlov, McGill and Otunga hit each other on a triple clothesline. All three went down, but Santino got back to the apron for the hot tag.

Santino rushed at McGill who ducked his move, allowing Otunga to kick him in the back. The ref was distracted with Kozlov and missed it. McGillicutty finished Santino off with a neckbreaker for the win.

Winners: Michael McGillicutty & David Otunga win via pinfall over Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov.

Raw Results 11/15/10 - WWE Old School Show

Raw Results from Hershey, PA:

WWE Raw opened with an old-style WWF Monday Night Raw intro complete with the old theme music, but shots of the current Raw superstars mixed in for "Monday Night Raw Old School." Explosive fireworks and pyro went off from the ceiling. Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler were standing ringside for the vintage Raw. The ring was even done up like it used to be in the days of old WWF.

Justin Roberts, wearing an old tux and wig, introduced WWE Hall of Famer Mean Gene Okerlund. Mean Gene talked to Hall of Famer Cowboy Bob Orton, Jr. to kick off the show. Orton came out wearing his trademark cast. Gene tried to introduce Randy Orton, but his dad said Randy's not there at the arena yet, but he will be there shortly. Orton added that his son always has been able to deal with adversity. He started adding his own commentary about how he doesn't care about Cena's career, but that Orton's arm will be raised in victory. As Orton kept talking, Nexus leader Wade Barrett arrived out to interrupt the interview.

Barrett told Cowboy Orton that his predictions are as phony as the cast on his arm. Wade said he'll defeat Orton and do something Cowboy Bob never did, become WWE Champion. Barrett said the Old School WWE didn't pave his way, he got there through his own hard work. He noted that he didn't bring out The Nexus to beat Cowboy Orton to a pulp, is because he wants him conscious for Sunday's Survivor Series. Just then, The Miz arrived out along with Alex Riley.

Miz talked about cashing in his MITB contract, and how he just might do it tonight when Orton gets to the arena. Miz said that would change a lot, because Barrett and Orton wouldn't be competing for the WWE Title, and Cena would be stuck in Nexus forever. Cena showed up on the Titantron to tell Miz he won't be cashing in anything tonight. Cena told Barrett he's usually taking his orders, but tonight he's challenging The Miz in order to protect Barrett. Miz accepted the challenge for a match later on.

Sexual Chocolate vs. Dolph Ziggler

Smackdown consultant Vickie Guerrero accompanied Dolph to the ring. They did the old school picture-in-picture box with Ziggler talking about how he's part of the best WWE relationship since the Macho Man and Elizabeth.

Mark Henry arrived out to the ring with his "Sexual Chocolate" theme music. He kept up with the gimmick during the match as he eyed Vickie who was ringside. Late in the match, Henry had a pin on Ziggler, but Dolph managed to get a foot on the bottom rope. He pulled Ziggler out away from the rope, looked at Vickie then went for a big splash. Ziggler rolled away though.

As Henry was trying to get up, Ziggler rushed over and hit the Zig Zag for a near fall. He hit another take down with Henry again able to kick out of the pin. Ziggler locked in a sleeper hold with Henry down on the mat. The ref eventually dropped Henry's arm, giving Ziggler the win.

Winner: Dolph Ziggler wins via submission over Mark Henry.

Tyson Kidd and DH Smith were walking backstage wearing old school Wrestlemania talking about how they might not see eye to eye, but their wrestling ancestors didn't always either. Just then, they came walking up to Tony Atlas who was talking about how he and Rocky Johnson didn't always get along but they still became tag champs. Atlas kept going on and on about various topics with the Harts standing by trying to be polite. Finally they got fed up with listening to him and walked off. Atlas kept on talking as Raw went to a commercial.

When Raw returned, Atlas was still talking backstage about how he and Rocky didn't always see eye-to-eye. They showed that Yoshi Tatsu was backstage listening to Atlas yapping. He finally made the sign of stabbing himself with a samurai sword, but Atlas kept talking, as it went back to the ring.

The Hart Dynasty vs. Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater

The Nexus tag champs worked the doubleteam on DH Smith for the first part of the match. Smith was able to move away before Slater tried to pounce on him in the corner though. He worked his way over to tag in Kidd, but went he finally got there, Kidd moved away so he couldn't make a tag. Kidd gave him a huge kick to the head instead. Smith fell to the mat, and Gabriel was able to hit a 450 Splash for the victory.

Kidd backed up the ramp smiling about what he just did, while Smith was fuming in the ring.

Winners: Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater win via pinfall over The Hart Dynasty.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviewed Randy Orton backstage with Cowboy Bob Orton behind him. Gene asked Okerlund about how he felt about Sunday's big WWE Title match. Orton started to answer when R-Truth came in to interrupt. He said Cena knows exactly what he's doing. Truth said with the whole "free or fired" choice, there is no choice, it's "free." Orton said it seems everyone has this all figured out. He said there's one way to make sure Cena won't screw him over on Sunday - by punt kicking him in the head tonight. The Ortons left Gene and Truth standing there looking on.

Ezekiel Jackson vs. The Brooklyn Brawler

Justin Roberts introduced Hall of Fame announcer Howard Finkel to do the match introductions. Brooklyn Brawler arrived with manager Harvey Whippleman. He made an open challenge to any "new school" superstar and Jackson came to the ring to answer it.

Jackson quickly took control as he tossed Brawler against the ropes, then leveled him with a move. He threw Brawler into the corner and did a huge clothesline on him. Jackson finished him off fast with the one-armed slam for the pinfall win.

Winner: Ezekiel Jackson wins via pinfall over The Brooklyn Brawler.

David Otunga was back in the locker room talking to the other Nexus guys. He said he almost was ex-communicated from Nexus but stepped it up on Smackdown on Friday. Otunga said it's time for one of them to step up now and deal with R-Truth since he's becoming a problem. Otunga started to say as the leader he thinks- but Wade Barrett arrived to interrupt, asking what he meant by he was leader. Otunga said he meant "as a leader from Nexus." Barrett told Otunga if anyone should deal with R-Truth, it's Otunga so he can do just that.

Just then, the lights flashed and an email came through. Cole got up to read the latest, which was from the Raw GM. It said Otunga won't fight Truth tonight, but instead Barrett will, to show he's truly championship material. Barrett smirked and said the GM raises a good point. Harris stepped forward and said Nexus will have his back. Wade thanked him, shooting a glance at Otunga, saying that's the sort of loyalty he expects. Barrett said he'll go out on his own though.

Cena showed up at the meeting with Barrett asking what he wants. Cena said a thanks for dealing with Miz would be nice, but Barrett said no way. He told Harris and McGillicutty to follow Cena out to the ring tonight to make sure Orton isn't involved. Cena said it wasn't needed because if Orton wants some, he can come get some.

John Cena vs. The Miz

They flashed back to last week's main event when Cena was guest ref for the Team Orton vs Team Nexus match. The Miz came in while Cena was distracted by Nexus on the outside. Miz grabbed Orton for skullcrushing finale as Riley hit him in the gut with the MITB case to help Miz hit the move. Barrett scored the winning pinfall on Orton, with Cena counting the victory.

Miz brought out a mic with him to the ramp, saying Cena always thinks he's one step ahead of him. Miz said the Raw GM never sanctioned their match, so he's making a substitution if the GM doesn't object. No emails came through, so Miz said Alex Riley will take his place in the match.

Riley had control for a good part of the match, until Cena flipped him to gain some momentum. Cena hit multiple takedowns, then went for the Five Knuckle Shuffle, directing the You Can't C Me at Miz. Cena hoisted up Riley for the Attitude Adjustment. He hit it, then put Riley into the STF to make him tap right in front of Miz.

Winner: John Cena wins via submission over Alex Riley.

Post-match, Miz carefully got on the apron to check on Riley. Cena stayed in the ring. Orton came rushing to the ring, with Miz taking a swing at him, but Orton ducked it. Miz ended up rolling out of the ring, but McGillicutty and Harris rushed to the ring next. Orton took both of them out, then turned to see Cena in the corner. Orton tore off his shirt ready to go with Cena. The two superstars stared down one another, then Cena started to take swings at Orton. Several referees rushed into the ring to pull them apart, as did several WWE officials in suits.

Just then, an email from the Raw GM came through. Cole read it off that it's obvious Cena and Orton have issues they need to work out prior to Survivor Series. The Raw GM said they'll both get in the ring later- as guests on Piper's Pit.

Cole and Lawler were ringside again, talking over how great a show they've had tonight. They sent it back to the ring with Mean Gene to introduce Nikolei Volkov and the Iron Sheik. Mean Gene told everyone to stand to respect Nikolei's singing of the National Anthem. He started singing, but was soon interrupted by Santino Marella's theme song. Santino and Vladimir Kozlov arrived to the ring. Santino said his tag partner, Vlad Kozlov wants to sing the Russian National Anthem with him. Nikolei said that was fine. The crowd started up a USA chant. Kozlov and Nikolei started to sing, but it was off so Santino finally stopped them.

Santino said he has another song he wants them all to hear which will blow the roof off this place. He introduced the Doctor of Style, Slick. Slick came out singing his "Jive Soul Bro" rap song from old school WWF days. He got in the ring dancing to finish out the song, then Iron Sheik started ranting about how he created Hulkamania. Another USA chant started up, before The Usos were introduced. Also introduced was the father of Tamina, WWE Hall of Famer, Jimmy Superfly Snuka.

Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov vs. The Usos
#1 Contender's Match

The match was held to determine #1 contenders for the WWE Tag Titles. At one point in the match, Kozlov got the Uso in the corner, then tagged Santino to use him as a battering ram into the Uso in the corner.

Later, Kozlov prepared for a powerslam with the Uso on his shoulder, but missed the blind tag, as the other Uso came in to clip Kozlov's leg. Santino finally got in to gain momentum, hitting a diving headbutt on the Uso. Kozlov and the other Uso got involved, which had Santino turning his back. The legal Uso went for a huge kick but Santino ducked and did a leg sweep to trip him down. Santino set up for the Cobra and hit it to win the match. Santino and Kozlov are the new #1 Contender's for the tag titles.

Winners: Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov win via pinfall against The Usos to become new #1 Contender's for the WWE Tag Championships.

Post-match, Santino and Kozlov celebrated in the ring. Sheamus rushed to the ring and kicked down Kozlov. Santino backed into the corner with Sheamus eyeing him. One of the Usos was still around and said something to Sheamus, but Sheamus kicked him down too. He went after Santino next, shoving him down, then preparing for more. Suddenly, John Morrison rushed to the ring and hopped on the apron. Sheamus rushed towards him, but Morrison pulled the top rope down for Sheamus to fall out. He followed that by delivering a kick on Sheamus as the Celtic Warrior was on the apron. Morrison got on the mic to say he realized Sheamus is just a big bully, but he's looking for a fight in the wrong places. Morrison told Sheamus if he wants a fight he's got one right there. Morrison dropped the mic waiting to do battle, but Sheamus just started backing up the ramp instead.

Kofi Kingston vs. David Otunga

David Otunga was scheduled for a special match tonight by the Raw GM earlier. They showed another picture-in-picture talk, this time from Kofi Kingston. Kofi said he decided to pay David Otunga of Nexus a visit on Raw, since Nexus keeps visiting Smackdown. Kofi said he just might go old school tonight like Koko B Ware and fly around the ring.

Otunga had the advantage for the first half of the match, but Kofi soon mounted a comeback. However, the two opponents took down each other on a double clothesline. Both guys fell to the mat. Suddenly, WWE legend, George the Animal Steele arrived to the ring. He went over the turnbuckle to have a meal, but a ref got in the corner to stop him. George went over to the other corner instead and tore apart the turnbuckle cover, eating it. That exposed turnbuckle played a part in the final, as Kofi smashed Otunga head first into it, then delivered Trouble in Paradise to win it.

Winner: Kofi Kingston wins via pinfall over David Otunga.

Backstage, Arn Anderson and Gerald Briscoe were talking to John Morrison, praising him for standing up to Sheamus multiple times. Morrison said he hopes Sheamus comes after him next. He said Sheamus is always picking on everyone, even a woman who did his hair in Milan, and a stewardess on a recent flight. Just then, a huge boot came into the picture and took out Morrison. Sheamus showed up with Anderson telling him to back off. Sheamus told them to tell Morrison when he gets up, he accepts his challenge for a match at Survivor Series.

Raw returned with Aksana walking backstage with the Million Dollar Belt. Suddenly Hacksaw Jim Duggan showed up yelling out "HOOOOO!" and Aksana asked what he called her. He told her that she's been stealing his trademark chant of "USA USA." Duggan told Aksana her mother from Lithuania was over around the corner to see her. Aksana walked over to find a man in a blonde wig. It was the American Dream Dusty Rhodes. He yelled "hit it Kelly" and she dropped some sort of net on Aksana. Rhodes grabbed her and said "ok we've got her," so Goldust came over to take back his Million Dollar Belt.

Goldust said it's time to hand the belt over to its rightful owner. IRS and Million Dollar Man came walking over, so Goldust handed the belt over. IRS said he'd help find a good tax shelter for that, and Million Dollar Man let out his trademark laugh. His son, Ted Dibiase came walking up, and Million Dollar Man said "here son this belongs to you." Dibiase told him to keep it because he's going to go get something that's not a "hand me down." Dibiase walked off.

Cody Rhodes walked up to them and looked at Goldust saying "that wasn't so Dashing." Goldust asked Rhodes if he'd teach him some of us his grooming tips, then started to do his Goldust trademark inhale/exhale. Rhodes stopped him and said "Don't breathe on me." They walked off together and Dusty Rhodes exclaimed that he's raised some weird kids. He then yelled for them to hit his music and everyone started to dance. Tatanka showed up for the dance party, along with Hacksaw. Everyone was dancing including Kelly and Aksana, until Ron Simmons walked up. He looked around for a moment then yelled his trademark "DAMN!" to stop everyone.

The commentators returned with Cole hanging his head in shame at the segment. They brought up the earlier incident in the ring involving Cena and Orton coming to blows with refs and WWE staff pulling them apart.

They showed R-Truth walking backstage with Eve. Lawler said the fun and games might be over soon for Truth since he's facing Wade Barrett next.

R-Truth vs. Wade Barrett

Truth arrived out to do his "Crunk" theme song with Eve doing cheerleader dance moves. Michael Cole started adding in his own rhymes saying "That stunk" when the song was over.

John Cena and Randy Orton were shown watching the match backstage on TV's. Barrett had been in control for a majority of the match, but Truth started up a comeback, leveling Wade on multiple clothesline attempts. He countered a Barrett move with a near fall, then had another near fall moments later.

Late in the match, Truth went for his scissor kick on Barrett. Barrett avoided it and got him up on his shoulders to go for Wasteland, but Truth slipped off. Truth tried to run against the ropes, but Barrett caught him with a big boot. From there, Barrett hit the Wasteland finisher to win it.

Winner: Wade Barrett wins via pinfall over R-Truth.

Raw returned with Lawler and Cole at ringside. Cole tried to do an impersonation of Vince McMahon and then Lawler started choking him jokingly. They kicked it to the ring announcer, who was Ricardo Rodriguez. He started to do an intro in Spanish, but Tito Santana arrived out saying "that's not the way it's done, tonight we'll do it my way." Tito Santana did the intro for Alberto Del Rio in Spanish. Del Rio came out in another fancy car with Chavo Classic driving. Chavo Classic is the oldest Cruiserweight Champion in WWE History.

Michael Cole said they've learned Alberto Del Rio will be a captain for a team at Survivor Series. Del Rio got on the mic in the ring to insult the Hershey PA crowd. He said the legends need to follow Chavo and Tito's example and pay respect to him. All of a sudden, Sgt. Slaughter arrived out from backstage to come to the ring. Slaughter got in the ring and called Del Rio a puke, a scum and a maggot, also challenging him to a match so he could get some respect.

Sgt Slaughter vs. Alberto Del Rio

Slaughter got in some offense, but in the closing moments, Del Rio tossed Slaughter to the corner. He ran at Slaughter then delivered his patented kick to the back of his head to take down Sarge for the pinfall win.

Post-match, Del Rio locked the Armbreaker submission onto Slaughter and kept it on. Suddenly, MVP rushed to the ring to make the save, chasing Del Rio off. Del Rio gave him a wink and a smile from the ramp.

Winner: Alberto Del Rio wins via pinfall over Sgt. Slaughter.

When Raw returned they showed highlights of fans buying tickets for Wrestlemania 27 which takes place April 3, 2011 in Atlanta, Georgia at the GeorgiaDome. Kasim Reed, Mayor of Atlanta was also shown talking about how big this will be for Atlanta.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund brought out another old school guest, Mae Young. The Bella Twins transported her to the top of the stage, helping her stand up. Mae yalked about wrestling when she was just 17, and now she's 87 years old. Okerlund had them show a highlight tape of some of Mae Young's career moments, most of which included newer WWE highlights including kissing Mr. McMahon and also in various WWE diva segments. As Gene tried to do some more of the interview, Team LayCool arrived out to interrupt. They started to insult Mae Young, saying she's 100 years old and old enough to be Betty White's grandmother.

Mae Young finally got on the mic saying she wants a match with those two sluts. She also called them "bitches." Mae asked for a No DQ match against LayCool and they started to laugh about it.

Mae Young vs Team LayCool
No DQ Match

Mae and the Bellas started to stalk LayCool as they began to back down the ramp. Eve, Melina, Gail Kim and Natalya all arrived out to back up Mae. The newer divas chased down LayCool. Natalya beat up Michelle and threw her into the crowd barrier. Eve and Melina grabbed Layla and brought her over for Mae Young to slap. Mae then put one foot on Layla to get the pinfall win.

Winner: Mae Young wins via pinfall over Team LayCool.

Fink introduced WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross to commentate on the next match. Jim Ross came out to the appreciation of the fans. Ross joined Lawler and Cole on commentary to Cole's dismay. Cole asked JR who invited him. Ross shook hands with both guys then kept talking to Lawler.

Daniel Bryan vs. Jack Swagger

Swagger went for the Ankle lock early, but Bryan countered to get out of it. Cole kept trying to insult JR during the commentary, with JR ignoring him. The action went to a commercial with Cole saying maybe JR will be back on a plane to Oklahoma when they come back.

Late in the match, Bryan gained momentum. He hit a missile dropkick from the top rope to take down Swagger for a near fall. Swagger went for an ankle lock moments later, with Bryan countering and sending Swagger to the corner. Bryan went for a running hip splash, with Swagger moving away. Swagger did his running splash move from off the corner. Swagger continued with momentum from there. He went for Gutwrench but Bryan escaped and delivered a roundhouse kick to take down Swagger for the pinfall victory.

Winner: Daniel Bryan wins via pinfall over Jack Swagger.

Post-match, JR was telling Cole to get out of there. Suddenly, Ted Dibiase rushed the ring and attacked Daniel Bryan. After hitting Dream Street on Bryan, Dibiase left the ring and grabbed the US Championship Belt. He got in the ring with it and placed it on Daniel Bryan, as Maryse arrived onto the ramp from backstage. Cole told JR "see you in 10 years," as JR shook hands with Lawler.

Lawler and Cole talked about Survivor Series and the recently added Traditional Survivor Series Elimination tag match: Team Mysterio with Kofi, MVP, Chris Masters & Big Show against Team Del Rio with Tyler Reks, Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre and Jack Swagger. John Morrison vs Sheamus has also been added to the card.

Justin Roberts asked the fans to give another hand for JR. JR got up with Cole telling him to leave. JR slapped Cole on the head with his cowboy hat.

They showed a split screen backstage with Cena and Orton headed out for the Piper's Pit segment.

When Raw returned they had all the Old School WWE legends lined up on stage. Justin Roberts introduced each of them one by one: Superfly Snuka, Cowboy Orton, IRS, Tito Santana, Sgt. Slaughter, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Brooklyn Brawler, Chavo Classic, Mean Gene Okerlund, Howard Finkel, Mae Young, Gerald Brisco, Million Dollar Man, Slick, Tatanka, Tony Atlas, Arn Anderson, Ron Simmons, Dusty Rhodes, George "The Animal" Steele, Jim Ross, Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff.

Roberts then introduced the Hot Rod Rowdy Roddy Piper. Piper reminisced about the Old School and the days when you had to "man up." He talked about smashing a gold record in Captain Lou Albano's face, and smashing a coconut on Jimmy Superfly Snuka. He said in the Old School if you had a problem you did something about it.

Piper's Pit with Roddy Piper

Piper introduced his first guest, John Cena. Cena got a mic and was ready to talk, when Piper stopped him. Piper said he's been a fan of Cena's for a long time. Piper said he competed for over 30 years and was never a WWE Champion. Piper said many other WWE Legends and Hall of Famers never were WWE Champion. Piper told Cena if he helps Barrett win the WWE Title, then he's spitting in the faces of all those WWE Legends he says he respects.

Cena answered back saying he's been hearing "Free or Get Fired" for weeks now. Cena said he's been working as hard as he possibly can to respect the legends. Cena said he looked up to them all as his heroes. Cena said if he hands over the WWE Title all his hard work as a wrestler will be down the drain. Cena said he's going to call the match down the middle. Piper was happy to hear it, but that brought out Nexus leader Wade Barrett.

Barrett said he proved tonight he can beat anyone on the Raw roster without Cena's help. Wade reminded Cena if he doesn't win the WWE Title, all of Cena's moments of glory will be over with WWE. Piper got in Barrett's face telling him if he lets Cena hand him the WWE Title, he'll be the biggest joke ever. Barrett said he realized something earlier tonight, this could be Cena's final Raw ever, and will be his final Raw as part of Nexus. Barrett said he wants to do something tonight that he should have done weeks ago. He pulled out a Nexus T-shirt and told Cena to put it on. Barrett told Cena if he doesn't put it on now he's fired on the spot.

Cena obliged and put his Nexus shirt on. Cena asked Barrett if he's happy now. Cena said win or lose Sunday, when the match is over he's going to make Barrett's face into mush. Barrett said Nexus is banned from ringside but once the bell rings, they'll hit the ring to neutralize any threats. Just then, Randy Orton arrived from backstage.

Orton eyed Cena and Barrett. He stared down Cena and got on the mic saying he thought about punt kicking Cena earlier, but thought of another option. Orton turned and attacked Barrett, knocking him down to the mat. The Viper got down pounding the mat getting ready for the RKO, but Cena walked in front of Barrett to block his attempts. Orton got up and dropped Cena with the RKO. He set up for the punt kick, but Barrett came at him. Orton tossed Barrett out of the ring, then went for the punt kick on Cena. Cena was quick to avoid it and then hit the Attitude Adjustment on Orton. Barrett got back into the ring smiling then ordered Cena to raise his arm in victory. Cena pretended he was going to, but instead picked up Barrett and hit the Attitude Adjustment to slam him down.

Raw ended after Cena left the ring and headed up the ramp where Piper raised Cena's arm. Barrett and Orton were still down in the ring from Cena's finisher.

Raw Results 11/8/10

WWE Raw Results from Manchester, UK:

Justin Roberts introduced John Cena who was in the ring at a Nexus podium. Cena opened up a big scroll to introduce a man who said he'd bring the winds of change, and delivered. Cena continued to read from the scroll saying in two weeks at Survivor Series he'll be the WWE Champion. Cena introduced Barrett making his long-awaited triumphant return to Manchester, England.

Barrett arrived out first and then the rest of Nexus came out to trail behind him down the ramp. Michael Cole and Josh Matthews were on hand for commentary, with Cole saying Jerry Lawler suffered a leg injury and couldn't be there. Barrett drew a mix of cheers and boos. He said they'd have a preview of his WWE title celebration tonight, but first they'd need to address some issues.

Those issues included Otunga bringing Nexus to Smackdown to try to run amok on Smackdown, without Barrett's blessing. Barrett pulled Otunga forward and told him next time he decides to take Nexus into his own hands to ask him first. Barrett turned his attention to Cena about last week's main event which Cena refereed. Barrett asked Cena what happened and Cena started talking about how he started his career as a rapper as a joke. Barrett said about last week's match, and Cena answered "you guys lost." Barrett reminded Cena of the ramifications of the Survivor Series with Cena's career on the line. Cena reminded Barrett of what he's going to do when that match is over.

Barrett told Cena to practice raising his arm up as the new champion. Cena argued with him a bit, and Randy Orton arrived out to interrupt. Orton said he can beat Barrett no matter who the referee is. He said his main goal is to make sure Barrett never gets the WWE title belt. Barrett told Orton he's got an army of men with him, but Orton's got nobody with him. Just then a new email came through from the anoynmous Raw GM. The GM said Wade's championship preview is officially canceled. The Raw GM also added that the Survivor Series match can only be won by pinfall or submission, and the remaining Nexus members are banned from ringside.

The GM also booked a match for tonight: Team Barrett (Nexus) will face Team Orton in a ten-man tag team match. The Raw GM said they'd personally choose the members for Team Orton later, but the special guest referee will be John Cena. John Cena shook his head then walked to leave the ring. On the way he shoved down the podium near Otunga. Otunga stepped forward towards Cena who shoved him down, then left the ring.

The Bella Twins & Eve vs. Alicia Fox, Tamina & Maryse
Divas Cup Tag Match

In honor of soccer, the divas came out dressed in soccer gear for the Manchester United and Liverpool teams. During the match, a sign came up that next week's Raw is a 3 hour "Old School WWF" night. Eve escaped from the beating Maryse was giving her to tag in one of the Bellas. A brawl eventually broke out with all divas getting involved. Maryse DDT'd one of the Bellas down for Alicia to pin. The ref started to argue with Maryse and didn't see the Bellas. Nikki and Brie pulled the old switcharoo to help their team get the victory.

Winners: The Bella Twins and Eve win via pinfall over Alicia Fox, Tamina and Maryse.

Backstage in the locker room, Otunga was talking to the other Nexus guys about what Cena did to him earlier, when Wade Barrett walked in. Barrett said since Otunga thinks he's the most talented guy in Nexus, he can show it tonight in a match, against John Cena. He told Otunga to give it all he's got because he's going to tell Cena to do the same.

The Usos vs. The Hart Dynasty

Natayla lead the Hart Dynasty to the ring. Just last week, Natalya defeated Michelle McCool to earn herself another WWE Divas title shot. The Usos came to the ring without Tamina who just competed in the Divas tag match.

David Smith hit a running powerslam late in the match for a nearfall. The other Uso arrived in to break it up, so Kidd came rushing in. DH Smith tossed the Uso out, and Tyson tried for a dropkick through the ropes but missed. The Uso got back on the apron so DH Smith turned his attention to kick him off the apron. As he turned around he ate a kick to the face from the legal Uso, then was hit with the winning splash. Natalya went outside to check on Kidd then yelled at DH Smith that they're a family and he's not doing anything about it.

Winners: The Usos win via pinfall over The Hart Dynasty.

Backstage, Matt Striker was handling interviews. He spoke with Randy Orton asking if he cares who gets picked for his team tonight. Orton said it doesn't matter but it better be the best around. Just then, the Miz walked in saying he just heard from the anonymous GM that he'll be part of the team. He told Orton not to worry because his team will be "awesome."

Harris, McGillicutty, Slater and Gabriel were all talking backstage when Otunga walked in. The other guys all got quiet, so Otunga said he hopes Barrett doesn't have them all upset. He told them when he said he was the most talented, he meant out of him and Cena. He said he'd prove it tonight, and he hopes they all have his back out there. He told them they don't need Barrett's permission for everything they do. Otunga left the scene and the other guys seemed to disapprove of what he said.

Goldust vs. Ted Dibiase

Goldust arrived to the ring without Aksana. They showed highlights of his wedding on NXT where Aksana slapped Goldust instead of kissing him, then left the scene. Dibiase came out for tonight's match with Maryse. Cole kept talking about Maryse as Dibiase gave a beating to Goldust. She eventually walked over to the timekeeper's area and grabbed the Million Dollar Belt.

Moments later, Aksana came rushing down the ramp to face Maryse. She yanked the title belt away from Maryse then hurried backstage. In all the confusion, Goldust was able to get a surprise rollup pinfall on Dibiase for the win. Post-match, Goldust left the ring as he watched Aksana rush backstage with the belt.

Winner: Goldust wins via pinfall over Ted Dibiase.

"Runaway" by Hail the Villain is the official 2010 Survivor Series theme song.

John Cena vs. David Otunga

Nexus arrived out with leader Wade Barrett then stood at the bottom of the ramp. Not happy with Otunga's calling the shots on Smackdown while he was away, Barrett motioned for the other Nexus guys leave Otunga to fend for himself against Cena.

Otunga left the ring early to head up the ramp, but Cena chased him up the ramp, then smashed him face first into the car set up on stage. Cena eventually picked up the win after locking the STF onto Otunga, making him tap out.

Winner: John Cena wins via submission over David Otunga.

Barrett found Otunga with an ice pack on his neck in the locker room backstage. Barrett told Otunga that he was the one who lost the main event match last week, getting pinned. He said then Otunga brought Nexus to Smackdown and they lost. He told Otunga that he can return to Smackdown this Friday with Nexus and face Edge. Barrett said if Otunga loses, he's done with Nexus, because he'll be against them. Otunga shot him a look.

Santino and Vladimir Kozlov came out dressed in suits with top hats and umbrellas like jolly ol' English folks. Santino hosted his own "Santino's Tea Time." His guest was Sheamus, who Santino tried to make peace with. They had a table set up in the ring with tea and krumpets. Unfortunately for Santino he kept insulting the Celtic Warrior with his comments and eventually spilled the tea on him, angering Sheamus even more. This lead to Sheamus versus Santino in a match arranged by the anonymous Raw General Manager.

Santino Marella vs. Sheamus

Sheamus was still in his suit clothes while Sheamus was dressed for the match. He eventually tore off his suit to reveal wrestling attire. Santino seemed to want no part of the match though as he left the ring and tried to call timeout. Another email came from the Raw GM ordering Santino to get back in the ring and compete or get suspended, immediately. Santino started psyching himself up. He set up for the Cobra as soon as he got in the ring, with Sheamus flattening Santino instantly. Sheamus kept stomping on his opponent, then yanked him to center ring. Santino pleaded on his knees for Sheamus not to beat him up. As Sheamus came at him, Santino hit him with the low blow for the DQ.

Santino started up a victory celebration and jumped up on the corner. Sheamus ran at him with the Brogh kick to level him, then started the attack. Sheamus set up for the Celtic Cross but John Morrison came rushing to his aid. Morrison was able to duck a clothesline and then hit a kick from off the ropes to take out Sheamus. Morrison helped Santino out of the ring up the ramp.

Winners: Sheamus wins due to DQ when Santino used a low blow.

John Cena was backstage watching a television video about Wrestlemania 27 arriving April 3, 2011 to Atlanta, Georgia. Tickets go on sale Saturday at 10AM EST at Ticketmaster.com. As the video ended, Cena was shown again in the locker room, this time with Barrett standing there. Cena turned and Barrett told Cena to imagine never getting to experience Wrestlemania ever again. He told Cena he just needs to do the right thing in two weeks time, raise his arm and award him the WWE Title. He slapped a referee's shirt against Cena's chest and told him to do his job or his WWE career will be a distant memory.

They showed the video package of the various wrestlers reminiscing about their famous wrestling fathers or relatives. Included in the Stand Up for WWE video were Mike McGillicutty, Husky Harris, Goldust, Cody Rhodes, Natalya, Ted Dibiase and Randy Orton. Michael Cole said fans around the globe are standing up for WWE. Matthews said to log on to WWE.com for over 25 different videos.

Randy Orton was introduced first for the ten man tag team match main event. Next out was R-Truth without a microphone. Cole said it's great to see Truth without a mic tonight so they don't have to hear that silly Crunk song. Introduced next was Daniel Bryan. The World's Strongest Man Mark Henry was introduced next and finally the final member of Team Orton - The Miz. Alex Riley came around ringside, for Michael Cole to hug and slap hands with. Next the Nexus was introduced with Barrett coming out first. Slater, Gabriel, Harris and McGillicutty all arrived out, followed by John Cena dressed as the special guest referee.

Team Orton vs. Team Nexus

A brawl happened during the contest, with all members of Nexus ending up outside the ring. David Otunga arrived down the ramp as Raw went to commercial break. Otunga was watching from ringside when Raw returned. Mark Henry took it to Husky Harris for a bit and then McGillicutty, before tagging in Daniel Bryan. Bryan eventually gained control to lock the Labelle Lock on McGill, but Harris had made a blind tag and arrived in to break it. Nexus eventually gained the advantage as they all beat on Bryan in the corner. Bryan eventually moved in the corner to avoid a charging Slater. Bryan finally was able to crawl over and tag Orton, as Slater got to tag Barrett.

Orton went on the attack fast and eventually hit the scoop slam. He delivered the DDT from the middle rope, then set up for the RKO. Barrett countered and picked up Orton for the Wasteland but Orton slid off then hit a backbreaker. McGill rushed in to break up Orton's pin, so R-Truth came in to fight Nexus, then Mark Henry. Slater and Harris dumped Henry out of the ring, so Daniel Bryan got on the top rope and hit a double missile drop kick. All three guys ended up on the outside.

Barrett tried to pick up Orton in the ring for the Wasteland again, but once again Orton got out of it. He hit the backbreaker then prepared for an RKO, pounding the mat. Otunga started grabbing Cena's leg to distract him. Meanwhile, The Miz rushed into the ring and got Orton into his Skullcrushing Finale. Alex Riley rushed into the ring and jabbed the MITB briefcase in Orton's gut so Miz could complete his finisher. Barrett turned Orton over and took the winning pinfall. Cena turned around and counted the 1-2-3 to give Barrett the victory.
In the surprising finish, The Miz turned against his own team and hit a Skullcrushing Finale on Orton for the win.

Nexus hoisted Barrett up on their shoulders up on the ramp as a fuming Viper looked up from the ring at them.

Winners: Team Nexus wins via pinfall against Team Orton.

Raw Results 11/01/10

RAW Results from Long Island, NY:

WWE Champion Randy Orton arrived out with his championship belt in hand. Lawler and Cole talked about how Orton defends the title against Wade Barrett with John Cena as special guest referee at Survivor Series 2010. Orton said there's not a man alive who could take the WWE Title from him. He said he'd accept it if there was, but what he can't accept it if there was a crooked referee, especially if it's John Cena.

Orton called John Cena out to the ring to confront him about Survivor Series and his referee job. Cena came to the ring moments later to talk to Orton. Cena told Orton that they've both been champion before and the title comes and goes. Cena talked about what could happen if Orton wins or loses. Cena said he isn't sure what he's going to do at Survivor Series. Orton told Cena if he screws him over at Survivor Series, he'll be the biggest phony in the WWE, and all that Hustle, Loyalty, Respect will be out the window.

Orton told Cena to get out of his ring, but Cena started to fire back, saying Nexus has everyone under their control right now. He said Barrett has the ability to compete but he can't win a title match straight up. That remark brought Barrett and his Nexus crew out from backstage, including Husky Harris and McGillicutty. Barrett said when push comes to shove at Survivor Series, Cena will raise his hand as new WWE Champion. Cena said in 3 weeks this is all over. Barrett reminded him that he might be fired. Cena told Barrett when it's all over, either way he's going to beat the hell out of Barrett.

Orton told Barrett he doesn't have to wait until Survivor Series to beat up Barrett, and called Wade to the ring one-on-one. Barrett started towards the ring, but the Raw GM sent an email to interrupt. The GM's email said tonight there will be a main event involving Wade Barrett and a partner of his choice against Orton and a partner of his choosing. John Cena will be the special guest referee for the match.

The Hart Dynasty vs. Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel

As things broke down in this match, DH Smith was beating up Heath Slater on the outside. Kidd knocked Gabriel out of the ring, and went for a flip over the top rope. Unfortunately though, Slater slid off Smith and shoved him into Gabriel, causing Kidd to land on Smith. Kidd tried to recover and got on the apron. He dropkicked Slater through the ropes, but Gabriel was able to deliver a kick to the back of Kidd's head. With Kidd down in the ring, Gabriel hit the 450 Splash to win it.

Winners: Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel win via pinfall over The Hart Dynasty.

Cena was backstage when R-Truth came into the locker room to talk to him. Truth told Cena he respected him for standing up to Barrett and tell him what he's gonna do after Survivor Series is over. Truth asked Cena what he's going to do for the match though.

Vladimir Kozlov vs. Sheamus

Sheamus was introduced first and said last week's big upset victory by Santino was Sheamus beating himself, not Santino beating him. Sheamus called Santino out to compete again. Santino arrived out from backstage, saying due to Trick-or-Treating last night and all the candy he ate, he can't compete or he'll throw up in Sheamus' face. So instead, he called out a replacement: Vlad Kozlov. Kozlov got on the mic telling Sheamus "you talk funny, now I crush you."

Late in the match, Kozlov did his headbutt to the chest multiple times on Sheamus, then shoved him against the ropes. As Sheamus came back, Kozlov booted him down then went for a pinfall. Sheamus got a leg on the ropes to break it. Santino was yelling out instructions to Kozlov, but Sheamus hit him with a double axe handle then came back with the Brogh Kick to win it.

Winner: Sheamus wins via pinfall over Vladimir Kozlov.

Post-match, Sheamus chased Santino up the ramp as he was backing up. Santino tried to bribe him with candy, cash, credit card and even a check. Sheamus knocked them all away and kicked Santino down on the top of the stage. As Sheamus set up Santino in the Celtic Cross, John Morrison rushed out from backstage. He kicked Sheamus in the chest to get him to drop Santino, then kicked Sheamus in the head causing him to fall off the stage. Santino did his trumpet celebration up on the stage as Morrison looked at him.

Backstage, Orton was walking down the hall when R-Truth approached him. He told Orton that Cena seems to have his mind made up. Truth said Cena is going to look Orton in the eyes and count Barrett champion 1,2,3. Orton suggested that Truth be his partner tonight so they can see how Cena treats his friends. Orton said they'll probably find that Cena has no friends.

Mark Henry was talking on a cell phone backstage saying things haven't been the same since his tag partner Evan Bourne got hurt. He said he's not just his tag partner but his best friend. Pee Wee Herman was there on another cell phone next to him telling him a story. Henry asked Pee Wee for a big hug. Henry started bear hugging Pee Wee and squeezing the life out of him. Pee Wee then suggested a game of Diva Twister to cheer Henry up. Eve, The Bella Twins and Melina were all there to play. Pee Wee cut a promo about his current live show, and then former WWE Diva Lita came in as part of the segment. The divas asked Pee Wee and Lita to come give them a hand, so Lita bumped one of the divas with her hip knocking everyone over. Pee Wee and Lita left the scene with all the divas and Mark Henry laughing on the floor.

Ezekiel Jackson vs. Zack Ryder

Big Zeke manhandled Zack after some early offense from Ryder. After pressing Zack overhead and slamming him to the mat, Ryder kicked Zeke in the leg. However, Ezekiel was unphased and hit his one armed slam to win the match quickly and easily.

Winner: Ezekiel Jackson wins via pinfall over Zack Ryder.

Justin Roberts introduced the star of his own Broadway Show, Pee Wee Herman. Pee Wee gave his secret word of the night "Ring" and told people to all scream whenever they hear it the rest of the night. As Pee Wee kept talking, The Miz's theme music came on and The Miz arrived to the ring with Alex Riley.

Miz told Pee Wee he was always a Masters of the Universe type guy. Pee Wee told Miz why don't you marry him then. Miz kept saying the word Ring so Pee Wee and everyone was screaming. Miz kept threatening Pee Wee, so he told Miz he was starting to anger him. Pee Wee said his cousin is there with him. Miz said to bring him out then. The Big Show's music started up, but then changed into Pee Wee's theme music. Show came out dressed like Pee Wee Herman. Riley tried to charge at Show but he grabbed him around the neck. Miz came to try to help, so Show grabbed him around the throat too and shoved both guys out over the top rope.

The Raw GM sent another email which Cole read. It said The Miz wasn't getting out of this so easy, and he'll be facing Pee Wee's cousin in the ring, The Big Pee Wee. Pee Wee and Big Show started dancing in the ring to Tequila.

Big Show vs. The Miz

Miz built some momentum towards the end of the match, but show regained control. With Miz in one corner, Show went to the opposite corner and prepared for a running hip slpash. Miz avoided him by moving away. Riley got up on the side apron with the MITB briefcase, and Show knocked him off. The briefcase landed in the ring, so Miz picked it up and hit Show in the gut with it. The ref quickly called for the bell, giving Big Show the victory by DQ.

Winner: The Big Show wins due to disqualification of The Miz.

They showed another Stand Up for WWE video package. This one included Raw guest host celebrities talking about how great WWE is. Celebs included Dennis Miller, Florence Henderson, Bob Barker, Jeremy Piven, Jon Lovitz, Ced the Entertainer, Johnny Knoxville and Jewel. Lawler said now's the chance to show everyone who's been against WWE just how great an organization it is. For more info on how to help visit WWE.com.

John Cena was in the locker room backstage with Wade Barrett giving him a talk about tonight's match. Barrett said after tonight's victory, Cena can clean up his locker room, then scrub his back. Barrett walked off laughing. David Otunga walked in and told Cena he'll be raising his hand tonight because he's got more talent than anyone in Nexus, including Cena. Cena shook his head as Otunga walked off.

Daniel Bryan vs. Ted Dibiase

Dibiase arrived to the ring along with Maryse. Bryan gained momentum late in the match with kicks to Dibiase. However as Bryan charged from the ropes, Dibiase caught him for a Spinebuster and a near fall. As Bryan tried to get up near the ropes, Dibiase went for Dream Street. Daniel Bryan was able to slip out and counter, putting Dibiase into the Labelle Lock. Dibiase soon tapped out. Maryse was upset on the outside of the ring. Maryse got into the ring and said "this is not happening." Dibiase yelled at her to shutup and said he can't concentrate without his title, meaning the Million Dollar belt.

Winner: Daniel Bryan wins via submission over Ted Dibiase.

Michelle McCool and Layla of Team Laycool came out from backstage talking about how they feel the superstars and divas don't love them so much anymore. They said they don't care about them though, they care about the WWE Universe. Michelle McCool and Layla got into the ring. They said they'd give Natalya another shot at the divas title at Survivor Series, but only if she can beat Michelle tonight. Natalya arrived out ready for the match.

Natalya vs. Michelle McCool

Michelle gained momentum after Natalya had an impressive start. With Natalya down on the mat, Michelle wrapped a legscissors around Natalya's gut. The ref finally had to break the hold when he saw Michelle holding the ropes for leverage. At one point, Natalya almost locked the Sharpshooter on Michelle, but she managed to crawl out of the ring. Choas ensued on the outside, as Natalya was able to grab Layla and catapult her into Michelle. As Michelle got back into the ring, Natalya scored a quick rollup on Michelle for the win.

Winner: Natalya wins via pinfall over Michelle McCool to earn a Divas Title shot at Survivor Series.

They showed an odd segment with Freddie Prinze Jr. as a doctor in a hospital room saying "How's my favorite patient doing today? Still in that coma." He added "poor guy's gonna miss the election," and then the camera revealed that the patient was Vince McMahon laying unconscious on the bed.

Raw returned with the Vince McMahon segment. The doctor said even though he doesn't get a lot of visitors, at least his wife visits. Freddie Prinze, Jr. said Linda is very composed considering she spent $50 million on the campaign. All of a sudden, Vince woke up and angrily asked "$50 million on what?!" Vince said he hates politics, but as long as everything is ok in the WWE he's fine. Freddie Prinze filled Vince in that Undertaker's been buried, John Cena's in Nexus and Goldust is getting married.

Vince said next he'll tell him that Daniel Bryan's the US Champion. Freddie gave Vince a look to confirm it. Vince then said he needed to go to the bathroom. As he got up, he said if his wife can run for US Senate, maybe he can run for President of the United States. As Vince left, his open bathrobe revealed a Richard Blumenthal banner covering his backside.

The scene cut to Stephanie McMahon sitting up in bed after turning on a light. She said "I just had the strangest dream," then asked someone who wasn't shown (HHH) if her dad's still in a coma. HHH said "yea pretty sure he's brain dead." Stephanie shut off the light.

John Cena arrived out wearing a referee shirt for the main event tag match.

Randy Orton & R-Truth vs. David Otunga and Wade Barrett

Orton stared down Cena several times over questionable calls. As he did though, Barrett was able to use the distraction to attack Orton from behind.

Barrett took control against Truth later in the match, beating down on him, then tagged in Otunga for more punishment. Otunga had a near fall with Truth kicking out. Moments later the two guys collided in the air with flying bodypress moves. Both men tried to crawl over to make tags. Orton got into the ring so Cena went over to get him out of there. As they were discussing it, Otunga made a tag to Barrett. Cena didn't see it, so he turned and told Barrett to get out of the ring. Meanwhile, Orton hit the RKO on Otunga behind Cena's back. Orton rushed over to beat up Barrett, causing him to roll to the outside. R-Truth collected a winning pin on David Otunga.

Outside the ring, Barrett yelled at Cena near the bottom of the ramp. Cena said he didn't see any tag made. Orton smirked near the crowd, then got back into the ring to stare at Barrett and John Cena on the ramp as Raw ended.

Winners: Randy Orton and R-Truth win via pinfall over David Otunga & Wade Barrett.

Justin Gabriel vs. David Otunga vs. Wade Barrett
Triple Threat elimination match

The rules of this match were as a rookie got pinned or submitted, they were eliminated, so it would come down to a 1-on-1 match. Cole asked Josh Matthews which rookie he'd eliminate out of the three, and he said Justin Gabriel because he's a one-trick pony. Chris Jericho came over to yell at Josh Matthews and Cole during the match, telling them to talk about Wade Barrett.

David Otunga had control in the ring of Gabriel, but saw Wade Barrett climbing back to the apron. Otunga went after him but got rammed in the gut. Otunga knocked Barrett off the apron, but then Gabriel knocked Otunga to the mat. Gabriel hit his 450 splash from the corner and took a pin, but Barrett yanked him out of the ring, then stole the pinfall to eliminate Otunga first. Gabriel was down outside the ring with Matt Hardy cheering him on as NXT hit commercial.

Barrett escaped a near fall, but Gabriel used a legsweep to slam Barrett back first to the mat. Gabriel climbed the corner for the 450 Splash. He went for it, but Barrett stuck both knees up to catch Gabriel in the ribs. Barrett grabbed Gabriel from there and put him in the small package pin for the second elimination.

Winner: Wade Barrett wins via pinfall over David Otunga and Justin Gabriel.

Striker was up on the ramp with the WWE Pros. He told them to huddle up and cast their votes for the first Pros Poll of the two for the night.

MVP was shown on camera as a WWE Pro for Season 2 of NXT. MVP said his rookie is from South Beach, a party location. MVP said his rookie needs to put in hard work, dedication and sacrifice. They showed Percy Watson, a flamboyant "sexy star", who Cole said is a self-professed ladies man. NXT went to commercial as the pros were talking over their decision for the first poll.

NXT returned with another Pro for Season 2, Zack Ryder. Ryder said all that matters is what he'll teach his rookie like how to get girls and how to dress right. They rolled a video clip of Titus O'Neil, who said he's aggressive at doing what he needs to do in the ring. O'Neil is a former pro football player.

Striker had the 3 finalist rookies in the ring for the first Pros Poll. First, Striker interviewed the former contestants about who they would eliminate or who should win. Tarver said he should be eliminated. Daniel Bryan said Otunga can't wrestle, Justin's only got one big move and that leaves Wade Barrett as the winner. Fans weren't happy with his answer. Skip Sheffield looked around at the crowd then said into the mic "I don't care." Darren Young said his moneys on Wade Barrett because he's built for the competition and will prove all the haters in Dallas wrong. Heath Slater said Wade Barrett has proved himself tonight too.

Now it was time for the Pros Poll to reveal the first elimination of the evening. At the #1 spot was Wade Barrett yet again. Striker had Otunga and Gabriel step forward, because one of the two would be eliminated. Striker had them reveal the poll and David Otunga was still at #2. Justin Gabriel was the first elimination of the evening. Striker handed Gabriel the mic to talk. He said he'll keep coming back and keep getting back. Gabriel vowed to one day be a World Champion. Their rookie is named Kaval, from Brooklyn NY. Kaval said he's usually an underdog due to his smaller size, but he fights tooth and nail to the end.

NXT returned with Mark Henry on camera. He'll be another Pro mentor for NXT season 2. They showed video footage of Lucky Cannon. Lucky said he's named Lucky due to having a lot of close calls in life. He said he has a don't quit, "never say die" attitude. Cole said he's a former deputy sheriff.

Striker was in the ring with Wade Barrett and David Otunga. Striker said they'll need to prove themselves verbally now, with a rookie face-off. They each got 60 seconds to say why they should be the next breakout star. Otunga was first and called Barrett "ugly with a crooked nose and bad teeth." Otunga said the only PPV match he'd pay to see is a Triple Threat with Barrett against Aquafresh and Listerine. Otunga said Barrett doesn't have the "It factor" like he does. The crowd got on Otunga with the boos after he finished.

Barrett took over next, saying he's got a broken nose because he's a fighter. Barrett said Otunga's got the physique but it's too bad he doesn't know how to use it. He said Otunga doesn't have the "IT factor", but he'd add two letters in front of that to tell people what he really thinks of Otunga.

The Pros assembled to determine the final Pros Poll. They cut backstage to Kofi Kingston who will be the Pro mentor for the son of WWE Hall of Famer "Mr. Perfect". Michael McGillicutty was profiled in a brief highlight video. He said he's wrestling royalty based on his bloodline. He said "ruthless agression is back".

Now time for the final Pros Poll to determine the NXT winner. Striker paused in the ring with Wade Barrett and David Otunga to find out the results. Just then, Regal got up out of his seat and walked over saying to Jericho he had the best man in the competition, it's a shame Otunga was stuck with a bad pro. R-Truth jumped up to get in his face. Regal and Punk said the only reason Otunga's on the show is because of his wife Jennifer Hudson. Regal said congratulations to Barrett, he knew he'd win. Christian told him to shut up. Regal and Truth kept jawing at each other. Eventually the other rookies got involved. CM Punk walked backstage.

Jericho said the only reason Barrett is the winner is because he had the best pro. Regal said Barrett would have won this contest with any of the pros as his mentor. Striker finally interrupted and said let's see the Pros Poll. They revealed that Wade Barrett was #1 and David Otunga #2. Jericho was shown clapping with a sly grin on his face as he sat up in his stool on the ramp. Otunga looked dejected by the decision. Striker asked Otunga for his thoughts. Otunga said maybe Ashton's around because he must be getting Punk'd. Otunga said it doesn't matter, because he knows someone who lost American Idol and went on to become the biggest star of that show.

Striker handed the mic to Barrett with a congratulations. Barrett will get a future Pay-Per-View title match. Barrett started bragging and said he and Jericho knew this would be the end result. Barrett said he came to WWE to make major coin and a PPV title match will bring that in. Wade Barrett put the pros up on the ramp on Warning say this is the beginning of the era of Wade Barrett. Jericho got in the ring to join him. Barrett said he's going to take the WWE Title one day.
