Raw Preview 12/19/11

With TLC PPV now official and Christmas around the corner, tonight's Raw will feature some interesting developments.  First of all, there's a brand new United States Champion.  During last night's TLC results, Zack Ryder finally was able to catch his first singles championship by defeating Dolph Ziggler.  It was a hardfought match for Long Island Iced-Z.  Now one would expect that Ziggler will be looking for a quick rematch.  Will he get one on tonight's episode of Raw?

Also, last night saw CM Punk manage to withstand all sorts of tricks by The Miz and Alberto Del Rio, en route to retaining his WWE Championship in a TLC match.  With that in mind, all three men will be feeling the effects of the big championship match.  Will John Laurinaitis book any or all of them in matches?  What's next for CM Punk as the WWE Champion?

The TLC Pay-Per-View also saw Triple H able to defeat his former friend Kevin Nash, by using the vicious sledgehammer.  Nash seemed to beg for mercy towards the end of the match, trying to use the Clique sign to his old pal, but Triple H wasn't having it.  With a big Pedigree, and a sledgehammer shot, Triple H got revenge and the win.  Will this mean HHH is back for good on Raw, or will he return to his duties as the COO?

Also, what's next for John Cena and the return of the masked Kane?

Sean 'X-Pac' Waltman Returning to WWE?

There were recent reports that former WWE superstar, Sean "X-Pac" Waltman was backstage at Monday Night Raw.  This headline grabbed many fans' attention, as they believed it might be possible that X-Pac woudl be returning to the WWE.

However, it appears he was only at the show to do a special two-hour interview piece.  That segment will be a part of a new 15-episode WWE Network series.  It will focus on the Monday Night Wars and have VH1 series type feel.  This was reported several days ago and seems to squash the rumors of a possible return for Waltman to his former stomping ground.

Still, it would be interesting to see X-Pac get a return role to WWE.  If the creative team had sense, they could involve him in the storyline with Triple H and Kevin Nash.  In fact it would be a perfect return to align X-Pac with Nash, possibly as a corner manager, coming to the ring for Nash's fights.

So in a potential spoiler, maybe, just maybe we see X-Pac show up to interfere in the Sledgehammer ladder match.  Otherwise, we have to wait until 2012 for the possibility of seeing him with WWE - Network.

Raw Preview 11/28/11

Tonight's Raw arrives after a shocking conclusion to last week's show.  During the final segment of the show, the team of Awesome Truth seemed to be at odds after John Cena turned them against one another in the ring.  Miz and Truth got into a shoving match, but then appeared to have a mission to go take out Cena.  However, that changed as The Miz turned against his tag team partner R-Truth and destroyed him before Raw ended.  This would seem to be the demise of Awesome Truth as the WWE Universe knows it.  What will The Miz have to say regarding his actions?

Meanwhile, CM Punk will be defending his WWE championship for the first time since winning the title at Survivor Series.  His opponent will be former champion Alberto Del Rio who gets the big rematch opportunity.  Interim Raw GM John Laurinaitis booked the match last week, as well as two matches on that Raw.  Both Punk and Del Rio were able to capture victories to get ready for one another.  Will Punk be able to retain his title on tonight's show, or will Del Rio realize his destiny once again?

Also, for weeks Kevin Nash has been trash talking his former friend and "Cliq" partner, Triple H.  Nash attacked The Game several weeks ago leading to Triple H being sidelined from action.  Hunter had been in one match with CM Punk, which also involved Nash interfering and beating up HHH.  With that said, Nash continues to talk about how he's put HHH out of action from WWE.  Will Triple H or someone else have a response for Nash's comments, or will he continue to run his mouth on Raw?

Raw Results 11/07/11

WWE Raw Results from Liverpool, England:

John Cena arrived out to open the show talking about how The Rock returns to Raw next week. Cena also brought up this being Liverpool's first TV show taping. The Miz and R-Truth came out to interrupt, talking about how they'll beat Cena at Survivor Series and in tonight's tag match. Cena told them his partner is a future hall of famer. The Miz and R-Truth rushed Cena in the ring with Zack Ryder coming down to make a save.

John Morrison defeated United States Champion Dolph Ziggler in a non-title matchup.

Mason Ryder defeated JTG in a match.

Backstage, Zack Ryder had a segment involving The Bella Twins.

In a non-title match, Alberto Del Rio defeated Kofi Kingston by submission using the cross arm breaker. Post-match, Del Rio applied the arm breaker again but CM Punk came out to intervene. Punk and Del Rio went back and forth with verbal sparring on the mic, trading insults. Punk ended up getting Ricardo Rodriguez with the GTS.

Jack Swagger defeated Santino Marella by submission with an ankle lock.

Jerry Lawler introduced Kelly Kelly to plug the fact she's on the cover of Maxim magazine. Kelly came to the ring to talk about how she's constantly trying to improve herself. Beth Phoenix and Natalya came out to interrupt and tried to get Kelly to cry. Eve and Alicia Fox rushed down to chase them off, then unveiled Kelly's Maxim cover for the fans.

Interim GM John Laurinaitis arrived out and then introduced Kevin Nash. Nash came out to his old NWO theme song. In the ring he talked about how he could have buried HHH back in 1995, but allowed him into the Kliq because of Shawn Michaels. Nash said HHH would be nothing without him. He said he could be world champion, then said he showed everyone "how to play the game." Nash's music hit and he left the ring.

Backstage, John Laurinaitis was walking with David Otunga. CM Punk came up to stop them saying he would be WWE Champion after Survivor Series. Punk and Otunga got into it, then Punk was jumped by Del Rio.

In the main event, The Miz and R-Truth defeated Zack Ryder and John Cena by pinfall. Miz pinned Cena with Truth holding his legs down for the assist.

Raw Results 10/24/11

WWE Raw Results from San Antonio, TX:

Triple H started off the show in the ring, calling out Kevin Nash for what he did last night at Vengeance, attacking HHH from ringside. John Laurinaitis came out to interrupt. HHH said he wants Nash tonight so he can kick his ass. HHH told Laurinaitis to do his job and go sign Nash to a contract so HHH can kick his ass. Triple H said he'll find Nash himself.

Laurinaitis tried to reason with Hunter who went up the ramp towards backstage. He turned and told the interim GM to shutup, but then Triple H got clocked by a sledgehammer shot by Kevin Nash. Security guards restrained Nash while Laurinaitis checked on HHH. A paramedic came out to check on HHH's condition.

Back from break, they showed HHH about to be taken away in an ambulance. Kevin Nash got involved again to attack HHH. Security came in to get Nash out of there as Laurinaitis came over to say he was sorry to Triple H. The ambulance took HHH away from there.

Randy Orton and Sheamus defeated Cody Rhodes and Christian in tag team action. Late in the match, Orton hit an RKO on Christian. Rhodes knocked Orton out of the ring and then Sheamus got Rhodes with the High Cross.

Backstage, John Laurinaitis finished up a phone call with Stephanie McMahon who was blaming him for what happened to HHH. David Otunga talked to Laurinaitis before Cena came in and told "Carlton Banks" to get lost. Otunga eventually left. Cena told the interim GM he's sick of Miz and Truth getting in his business so he wants a match. Laurinaitis agreed as long as he picks Cena's partner.

Next week's Raw will be the Halloween edition featuring The Muppets. Kermit was shown in Cena's red color gear.

Dolph Ziggler defeated Santino Marella in a non-title match. Swagger distracted Santino from ringside when he tried to get The Cobra. Ziggler was able to hit the Zig Zag after. Post match, Swag and Ziggler started attacking Sainto, so Mason Ryan rushed down to make a save.

Backstage, The Bella Twins were chatting in the hallway when Zack Ryder came running up. Ryder was all excited that Laurinaitis chose him as Cena's partner tonight.

Del Rio came out to brag about his big title defense, after Ricardo Rodriguez introduced him. Punk came out to interrupt saying he's beaten Del Rio before. There was an in-ring confrontation involving Punk and Del Rio. Punk tried to get a WWE Championship shot. John Laurinaitis came out and told Punk he'd give him one at Survivor Series, but only if Punk says he respects him. Punk said he respects Laur for never being good enough in a ring and somehow ascending the corporate ladder to get where he is. Laurinaitis said it's not good enough, so he'll think it over for another week. Punk said he'll give him something else to think about. Punk grabbed Del Rio trying for a GTS, but Ricardo Rodriguez got involved to prevent it. Del Rio and Laurinaitis got out of the ring, so Punk grabbed Ricardo and hit the GTS.

Alicia Fox defeated Natalya with a quick roll-up pin despite Natalya dominating the match. Backstage they showed Eve and Kelly laughing about Natalya's loss. Beth and Natalya tried to attack Alicia who got out of the ring to safety.

Wade Barrett defeated John Morrison by pinfall after hitting Wasteland in a match nearing 10 minutes.

Michael Cole talked about how Jim Ross is spreading rumors and lies about him tonight. Cole had several photoshopped photos of JR shown including JR's head on a fat man's body, and JR in a Sooners cheerleaders outfit. Cole said next week he's calling out Ross for a Michael Cole Challenge on Raw. If Ross wins he gets his commentator seat back on Raw and Cole will quit. Lawler told Cole he bit off more than he can chew.

Zack Ryder had an interview backstage with Josh Matthews and talked about how Truth and Miz can't fist bump like him. Suddenly, Miz and Truth attacked Ryder, throwing him throw a stage light backstage. After the attack, refs and security came in to clear Miz and Truth out as refs came to check on Ryder.

In the main event, Cena was on his own against Miz and Truth. He dominated each guy in the early going, but the heels eventually wore down Cena. Cnea fought back and hit Five Knuckle Shuffle on Miz. He prepared for AA but Truth interfered and smashed Cena with a water bottle, so the ref called for the DQ.

Post-match, Miz and Truth kept up the attack on Cena and went to get steel chairs outside the ring. John Laurinaitis came out and told them to stop, so they eventually did. Laurinaitis said he's going to let Cena choose a partner for a legit tag match. He said it'll be Truth and Miz versus Cena and a partner of his choice at Survivor Series. Cena said he's going to choose someone to bring out - the crowd started chanted "Rocky, Rocky." Cena said he's not choosing out of friendship, but chooses his partner to be...The Rock. Truth and Miz were shocked at the news. The commentary team said Cena and The Rock could be the greatest pairing in WWE history. Raw ended with camera shots of Cena and Miz/Truth for a while before the show ended.

WWE Conspiracy Theories & COO Triple H

Is Triple H out as the COO of WWE? It almost seems like that's the next logical step after Monday's episode of Raw. The Chief Operating Officer was left alone in the ring after a vote of no confidence was held by superstars, divas, referees and other personalities. Jerry Lawler had a prominent speaking part in telling HHH that he would be walking out. So let the WWE conspiracy theories begin.

On the latest Raw, the show ended with Triple H holding a vote of confidence to see how he was doing as the COO. This was the idea of John Laurinaitis. It lead to several superstars, Beth Phoenix and a referee speaking their concerns. When all was said and done, they had voted "No Confidence" in Triple H. The King suggested that even though it wasn't HHH's fault, someone was trying to cause problems for him, so he was the reason it was happening. So who caused all of this?

The obvious choice here is the culprit who appeared at the end of Raw to shake his head at Triple H, one John Laurinaitis. The talent relations guy has been undermining HHH for weeks and texting or talking to some other individual by cell phone. It's quite possible he allowed The Miz and R-Truth to get into Hell in a Cell. Of course, he could be working for Mr. McMahon, or even Stephanie McMahon. Laurinaitis has been connected with Kevin Nash before, and may bring back Nash, Miz and Truth in his own sort of "NWO." Maybe Laurinaitis will feel the wrath of Triple H at some point. For now, fans will have to see what's coming next on Smackdown and Raw.

With all of this going on, whatever happened to the anonymous Raw General Manager? They haven't had a part in weeks and have mysteriously vanished. Is the person running the conspiracy that's driving WWE into the ground behind all of it? Time will tell...

WWE Network 2012 & Kevin Nash Released

A few big announcements were made on Monday night's episode of Raw. First up, there was a special promotional ad which teased the first ever 24/7 WWE Network channel. The channel has no official release date other than 2012. It's unknown if it will be offered on the higest tier package of cable and satellite or if it will be a Pay-Per-View channel like HBO, etc. So at this time, it's a big mystery other than it will offer 24/7 access to WWE content.

The other big news came from Raw when Triple H not only punched his friend Kevin Nash, but also fired him from WWE. To follow up with that, Nash was reported as released from on WWE.com, with the typical statement about wishing Nash the best in "all future endeavors." Nash tweeted on it saying he passed his physical but couldn't reach financial terms. He followed that with a tweet about how great it was to get to know Cena but now he's moving on with his life.

This could be a part of the story, or in fact Nash may have really parted ways with WWE again. Keep in mind that the original match for Night of Champions was scheduled to be CM Punk versus Kevin Nash. It was surprisingly changed to Punk vs. Triple H and now carries the extra stipulations that Triple H must resign as COO if he loses. It's also an anything goes, no DQ match, which WWE is hoping will sell plenty of NOC PPV's.

Will Nash be back or has he hit the road for good? It seems like a bizarre twist in the story after all that was revealed on Monday night's show. To get punched in the face and then drive off with John Lauranaitis riding shotgun seems like a strange way to finish his big return to the WWE.

Raw Results 09/05/11

WWE Raw Results from Columbus, OH:

The show opened with CM Punk coming out to reiterate his claims that Triple H and Nash were involved in some sort of plot against him. CM Punk kept talking until Nash showed up from backstage, and eventually their war of words got Nash walking towards the ring.

COO Triple H came down to the ring and Nash suggested Hunter needs to do something about Punk. HHH said Punk hasn't lied to him no matter what the situation, so tonight he's getting rid of someone. Hunter revealed that he learned it was Nash who texted himself at Summerslam and then went to attack Punk. Nash started to shove Triple H again and then got punched down by HHH. HHH told Nash he's fired, and left the ring. CM Punk walked by Nash and told him "best wishes in your future endeavors."

Backstage, an irate Kevin Nash was storming off to leave in a car. John Lauranaitis was trying to calm him down and eventually got in the car with him as it left the area.

Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne defeated the Smackdown team of Jinder Mahal and Great Khali in a non-title match. Evan Bourne hit Air Bourne on Mahal for the winning pin.

Alberto Del Rio was shown arriving in the backstage parking garage area with Ricardo Rodriguez. Del Rio had missed last week's Raw and Smackdown shows.

Beth Phoenix defeated Eve Torres by pinfall to become the #1 contender for the WWE Divas Championship. Kelly Kelly and Natalya were both on guest commentary. When Kelly went to check on Eve post-match, she got knocked down by Natalya.

Christian was talking to Drew McIntyre backstage saying he deserves one more shot at the World Heavyweight Championship. Alberto Del Rio came up and said he needed a word with Christian, so Drew left the scene. Del Rio reminded Christian that John Cena hit an Attitude Adjustment on him 24 hours before his World Heavyweight title match, so that may have cost him the match. He told Christian they'd both be champions right now if not for Cena and then let Christian think it over.

R-Truth was shown talking to himself backstage in preparation for his match against CM Punk. The Miz was shown in a suit ready to escort him to the match.

CM Punk vs R-Truth

Late in the match, Punk ran against the ropes with Miz grabbing his leg. Punk dropkicked Miz through the ropes. Miz started to pull off his jacket on the ramp ready to fight. The ref jumped out of the ring and tossed Miz, sending him backstage. Punk was watching it all go down, and Truth got up to attack him. Truth punched Punk from behind and went to whip him across the ring, but Punk picked up Truth on his shoulders and hit GTS for the win.

Punk barely had time to celebrate because COO HHH came to the ring. He told Punk he changed their match for NOC PPV. It'll be a no disqualification, anything goes match because HHH wants to hurt him. HHH went to leave the ring, but Punk stopped him and said he'll agree to that if HHH agrees to his stipulation. If Punk wins, HHH resigns as COO of WWE. Hunter said "done" and threw the mic down, then left the ring.

Winner: CM Punk wins via pinfall over R-Truth.

Backstage, Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks were talking to Wade Barrett about some new plans they had. Alberto Del Rio walked in and said he needed to speak to Barrett, so Reks and Hawkins left. Del Rio reminded Barrett of how Cena embarrassed him on Smackdown by winning in under 5 minutes. Wade told Del Rio he'd been humiliating Cena before Alberto even arrived to WWE. He said he doesn't need incentive to go after John Cena.

Jerry Lawler & Myster Partner vs. David Otunga & Michael McGillicutty

Jerry Lawler was making his way to the ring for a match against McGillitcutty and Otunga. Lawler said he selected a tag team partner tonight who's bursting with personality, unlike his opponents...Long Island Iced Z, Zack Ryder. They had a lengthy promo video with footage from Ryder's YouTube episodes before Ryder came to the ring with Lawler for the match.

During the match, Cole told JR to let this be a lesson they can't have opinions on commentary about the wrestlers. The action broke down with Lawler and Otunga the legal competitors. Lawler did his diving punch from the corner down onto Otunga and was ready for the pin but Ryder begged for a tag in. Lawler finally obliged. Ryder rushed in, ducked Otunga's attack and hit Rough Ryder for the win.

Winners: Jerry Lawler & Zack Ryder win via pinfall over Michael McGillicutty & David Otunga.

Backstage, Alberto Del Rio was talking to Dolph Ziggler. He brought up how there's a rumor that Vickie Guerrero is looking to dump him. Ziggler brought up a rumor that Del Rio's afraid of John Cena. The Bella Twins came up to Del Rio and said they missed him last week. He told them to give him five minutes and he'll be ready, so they walked off. Del Rio reminded Ziggler how Cena was always making fun of Vickie and Dolph never did anything about it. He said Vickie's not looking for Swagger as a client so much as she wants someone to fight for her. He left Ziggler to think about it.

Randy Orton vs. Heath Slater

Orton made textbook work of his opponent tonight. At one point, he started clotheslining down Slater, then hit the big scoop slam. Orton grabbed Slater and put him on the middle ropes so he could hit the DDT move. He started pounding the mat hard, then hit the quick RKO for the win.

Winner: Randy Orton wins via pinfall over Heath Slater.

Backstage, Zack Ryder was all excited as he told John Cena about his big win tonight. He said they're filming his show, selling his headbands and sunglasses now. He put the plastic shades on Cena, who cut him off. Cena questioned what idiot wears sunglasses indoors. He handed them back to Ryder joking around and started walking off. Ryder started bragging to the camera crew that Cena was on his show. Cole said it looks like Cena will now address the WWE Universe.

John Cena arrived out to the ring with his theme music playing. The commentators reviewed Alberto Del Rio's attack on Cena two weeks ago on Raw. Cena started talking about how Del Rio keeps ducking him. Cena said he predicts that Tatu from Fantasy Island will come out again and introduce Del Rio driving some exotic rental luxury car that Del Rio doesn't know the name of.

Del Rio arrived out in a Phantom worth $150k, then got out with the WWE Championship and a mic in hand. Del Rio reminded Cena that Rey Mysterio won't be there for a long time, because of him. Del Rio said he didn't do the same to Cena two weeks ago, so Cena would have a fighting chance at Night of Champions. Del Rio said he didn't show up last week because he's trying to protect Cena. He said he can't say the same about his amigos from Raw.

Wade Barrett and Jack Swagger rushed the ring and then Dolph Ziggler arrived. Christian joined the fray and all four started to hammer away on Cena. Alex Riley and Sheamus rushed to the ring to attack some of the heels. John Morrison came down next and did a running clothesline off a crowd barrier to take Christian down ringside.

Smackdown GM Theodore Long arrived out saying Triple H gave him authority to intervene when necessary. Long said the four guys outside the ring will face the guys in the ring in an eight man tag team elimination match.

Alex Riley, John Morrison, Sheamus & John Cena vs. Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger, Wade Barrett & Christian
8-Man Tag Elimination Match

At one point in the match, Ziggler had a hold locked on Morrison, but Swagger tagged himself in. Swagger put the Ankle Lock on Morrison as Ziggler was forced to leave the ring. Morrison tapped out to become 1st elimination. Vickie Guerrero arrived down to the ring right before Raw went to commercial break.

Later, Swagger tagged himself in again by slapping Ziggler's back. Swagger managed to hit his Vader Bomb on Riley in the corner, before applying the ankle lock to make his second elimination, leaving Cena and Sheamus as the only faces.

The third elimination came as Barrett tried for a Gutwrench into Wasteland. Sheamus escaped his clutches and came back with the running Brogue Kick to eliminate Barrett by pinfall.
Christian quickly rushed in with a spear on Sheamus but couldn't capture the pin. Sheamus was in the ring when Christian went to the apron. Christian slapped Sheamus in the face, prompting an angry reaction from Sheamus. Sheamus chased Christian into the crowd and then back out, and up the ramp. Sheamus took down Christian and started to pound away on him. The ref called for the bell for the double countout.

It came down to Cena versus Swagger and Ziggler with Vickie Guerrero ringside. Swagger started to dominate Cena, but then Cena made his "vintage comeback." He hit a double Five Knuckle Shuffle on both Ziggler and Swagger, but couldn't get the AA. Swagger did another running Vader Bomb and landed on Cena. However, Swagger backed up preparing for the finish, but Ziggler tagged his back to get into the match.

Swagger and Ziggler started to argue. The distraction allowed Cena to grab the advantage and hit the AA on Ziggler for an elimination. Swagger rushed right in and put the Ankle Lock. Cena struggled a bit, then reversed it by grabbing Swagger's leg and tripping him down into the STF. Swagger tapped out.

Del Rio rushed into the ring to attack Cena, but Cena ducked his clothesline then hit the AA on him. Del Rio rolled out of the ring and had Rodriguez help him back up the ramp.

Winners: John Cena wins the 8-man tag team elimination match after eliminating Jack Swagger.

CM Punk vs HHH at Night of Champions

It now appears there are three matches ready for the next WWE Pay-Per-View, Night of Champions. The biggest surprise match came on Monday Night Raw and it won't be a championship match at all. It was originally looking like Kevin Nash would finally get back in the ring, but instead it'll be Triple H, facing CM Punk. HHH said that Punk pushed him just a bit too far - or was it Nash helping push him back to wrestling?

The actions of Kevin Nash on Super Smackdown set up an interesting dynamic heading into the Punk vs HHH contest. Nash got into it with both men in the ring, but took out his frustrations on Punk more. Both Triple H and Punk were left in the ring together shocked by Nash's latest interference.

Does this mean the Triple H versus Punk match is merely an elaborate way for a 2-on-1 beatdown by "The Clique"? Nash and Hunter go back a long way, so it very well could be that. There's still theories floating around that Stephanie McMahon orchestrated the whole Punk beatdown at Summerslam, and others that say it was Vince McMahon using John Lauranitis as his instrument of chaos.

Still it makes for the best mystery/story of WWE right now. With all this going on, it's almost as if John Cena is a mid-carder, and does anyone really believe Alberto Del Rio WWE Champion? WWE has really shifted the focus away from these top stars and almost made the WWE championship belt less relevant than a power struggle between two guys who want to make the WWE a better place - for the fans, of course.

Super Smackdown Results 08/30/11

Super Smackdown Live Results from Wichita, KS:

John Cena came out for the opening promo, saying the show combines all of the stars of Smackdown and Raw. He was interupted by Ricardo Rodriguez who told him he won't get Alberto Del Rio until the NOC PPV. After Ricardo kept doing his "Del Riooooo" intro, Cena punched him down.

Wade Barrett arrived out to mock Cena for beating up a fat ring announcer. Barrett said it's obvious Cena learned nothing from being part of Nexus, so tonight he's going to beat some sense into.

John Cena defeated Wade Barrett by pinfall after hitting the Attitude Adjustment.

Sin Cara defeated Daniel Bryan by pinfall after a springboard dive and moonsault. Post-match, Sin Cara offered his hand to Bryan, then kicked him in the face.

Backstage, Matt Striker talked to tag team champs Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne. They talked about their success working together and about the legacy of other great tag team champs of the past. At the end of the interview, Kofi, Bourne and Striker all did the Boom hand clap signal. Cole said he was going to throw up.

A video package was shown to highlight the Randy Orton vs Christian feud for the past four months. Tonight they meet inside a steel cage in a World Heavyweight championship match.

Matt Striker interviewed Christian backstage. Christian said it's his night tonight, because he's a fighter and always fights for what's right. He talked about everyone turning his back on him, Edge, Bret Hart, the fans. He said he doesn't care what Striker or the fans think or if they like it. He said he doesn't need the World Title to validate his career, but he wants it. He said Christian always gets what he wants.

Beth and Natalya defeated Kelly Kelly and Alicia Fox by pinfall after Beth hit the Glam Slam on Alicia.

They showed Smackdown GM Teddy Long walking with Triple H down a hallway. Long and Hunter were reviewing the contract for Triple H vs. CM Punk at Night of Champions. Hunter didn't seem happy with the terms of the match.

After a commercial they had the official contract signing between Hunter and CM Punk. The two engaged in a war of words, with Hunter saying Punk pushed him too far so he had to get in the ring to handle business now. Punk said he doesn't dislike the WWE, or he wouldn't be there now. Punk said he hopes the Cerebral Assassin shows up for Night of Champions. They both signed the contract, and then Kevin Nash arrived out. Triple H tried to hold Punk back from attacking Nash, but he got away and got some shots in. Triple H tossed Punk to the side. Nash hit a big boot on Punk. Hunter shoved Nash, so Nash shoved him down. Nash left the ring with Triple H and Punk still in the ring looking stunned.

Sheamus defeated The Great Khali due to DQ when Jinder Mahal interfered. Post-match, Khali and Mahal tried to attack Sheamus. Sheamus avoided their moves and caused Khali to hit the ringpost. He hit the Celtic Cross on Mahal to send him across the ring.

Randy Orton defeated Christian by pinfall in the steel cage match to retain the World Heavyweight Championship. Orton won by hitting an RKO from the top turnbuckle on Christian. Post-match, Mark Henry arrived to get inside the cage with Orton. Christian slipped out of the cage. Henry destroyed Orton inside, smashing him into the wall and eventually hitting World's Strongest Slam. The show closed with Henry yanking the championship belt from the ref and hoisting it up as if he were champ.

Raw Results 08/29/11

Raw Results from Tulsa, OK:

The show opened with an in-ring confrontation involving COO Triple H, CM Punk and Kevin Nash. It all boiled down to Nash saying he had Lauranitis lie about the car accident to get HHH out of the building. Nash said he had to handle business with Punk. HHH asked Nash to leave, but Nash said Lauranitis also signed him to a WWE contract which is guaranteed. He said if Triple H fires him, he gets paid and can sit home and watch Raw. Nash finally asked Hunter to book CM Punk vs. Nash as a match. Punk suggested they have it at Night of Champions and Triple H obliged, making it official.

Randy Orton defeated Dolph Ziggler by pinfall in the opening match. Orton hit an RKO with Ziggler after escaping his sleeperhold.

Backstage, Josh Matthews tried to interview John Cena backstage about being attacked by Del Rio last week. Cena grabbed the mic and left, prompting Matthews to say it looks like Cena will address it next.

John Cena arrived out and called out Del Rio for his cowardly attack last week. Instead of Del Rio, he ended up getting Mark Henry who talked about all the guys he's dismantled and how he'll dismantle Cena as well as whoever wins the World Heavyweight cage match tomorrow night. Christian came out to interject. Christian and Henry were about to attack Cena, but Sheamus arrived down to make a save, surprising Cena, his former foe.

Backstage, John Laurinaitis booked the tag match by talking to a referee. Triple H told Lauranaitis he already booked it and to stop stepping on his toes.

CM Punk defeated The Miz due to disqualification when R-Truth got involved. Punk managed to fight off both guys post-match and hit the GTS on R-Truth. Kevin Nash started walking down the ramp towards the ring and Punk got ready. The Miz attacked Punk in the ring, then Nash came in and hit his Jackknife Powerbomb on Punk followed by a clicking motion and his hand raised in the air.


Sin Cara defeated Jack Swagger by pinfall after a springboard moonsault. The win came thanks to the fact that Vickie Guerrero came to ringside, and then Dolph Ziggler taunted Swagger on the apron, distracting him. Post-match, Ziggler demanded Vickie leave with him saying Swagger isn't worth her time.

The new tag champions Kofi and Evan Bourne defended successfully in a rematch by David Otunga and Michael McGillicutty. Post-match, Otunga got in Jerry Lawler's face ringside, setting up what looks to be a new feud.

Backstage they showed divas champ Kelly Kelly talking to Eve Torres.

Brie Bella defeated Kelly by pinfall. During the match, Eve was ringside and got KO'd by Nikki. The Bellas pulled the Switcharoo during the confusion, and Nikki scored the actual pinfall on Kelly for the win. This snapped a 15 match winning streak Kelly had for TV & PPV matches. Kelly will be defending her title at Night of Champions.

John Cena and Sheamus defeated Christian and Mark Henry by pinfall. Late in the match, Sheamus took Henry to the outside and splashed onto him from the apron. In the ring, Cena kicked out of Christian's pinfall after a Spear. Cena avoided a Killswitch, then Sheamus hit the Brogue Kick on Christian. Cena hit the AA to finish Christian off.

Backstage, Triple H was shown watching the match on a monitor. CM Punk came walking into the scene. Hunter said he just got off the phone with the WWE Board of Directors and the Nash vs Punk match was canceled. Instead it will be Punk vs. Triple H at Night of Champions. Punk and Triple H got in each others faces as they went back to the ring where Cena and Sheamus had won. The announcers talked over the replay of the match finish and said more to come on the HHH Punk situation on Smackdown tomorrow.

Raw Preview 8/29/11

Tonight's episode of Raw comes just a few weeks ahead of the September WWE, Pay-Per-View, Night of Champions. At the event, Alberto Del Rio is scheduled to defend the WWE Championship against the new #1 contender, John Cena. Cena has called out Del Rio for a cheap title reign, since he cashed in his MITB briefcase at Summerslam on a beaten up CM Punk. Last week, Cena defeated Punk to get the #1 contender spot, but was quickly attacked post-match by an angry Del Rio. With that in mind, will Cena be looking to answer back on tonight's show?

Speaking of revenge, it's likely that CM Punk wants to extract some as well. His target is Kevin Nash, the man who has now cost him the WWE Championship and the #1 contender spot at Night of Champions. Nash punched CM Punk earlier on Raw last week, before interrupting the main event match, distracting Punk and allowing Cena to get the victory. Nash told Punk that there dispute isn't over yet, and that's apparenty after last week's incidents. What will CM Punk have to say about Kevin Nash and Triple H on tonight's episode?

Also, last week saw the crowning of brand new tag team champions. Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne were able to defeat David Otunga and Michael McGillicutty of New Nexus to capture the championship belts. It's likely that the New Nexus former champs will want a rematch as soon as possible. Will it be on tonight's episode of Raw?

Raw Mystery & CM Punk vs Kevin Nash

Kevin Nash was once again involved in costing CM Punk a WWE Championship reign on this past Monday's Raw. The former WWE superstar known as Diesel interfered in the main event #1 contender's match between CM Punk and John Cena. Nash arrived out from backstage with a microphone telling Punk their feud wasn't over yet, causing the distraction. That allowed John Cena to hit the Attitude Adjustment and pin CM Punk for the win. Cena heads on to Night of Champions as #1 contender to challenge WWE Champion, Alberto Del Rio.

As for CM Punk, he had a rough night, getting punched earlier in the ring during an altercation with Triple H and Kevin Nash. It's still a mystery right now who ordered "the hit" on CM Punk by Nash at Summerslam 2011, but many believe that Stephanie McMahon and John Laurainitis are part of the blame. Vince McMahon should never be ruled out either.

All that said, Triple H pointed out on Monday Night Raw that Nash is not an active WWE superstar. Yet Nash continues to pop up on Raw anyways, so he must have some prestige and power. This all seems to be leading to a CM Punk versus Kevin Nash matchup, which would be a first of its kind in WWE history. Nash and Punk are both former champions, although Nash has worked with WCW and Punk with ECW/Ring of Honor.

This would make for an exciting Pay-Per-View matchup though and probably a street fight or anything goes style match. Nash is getting up there in age, but his current storyline with the mystery of who texted him to do a job on Punk is intriguing fans. Night of Champions 2011 Pay-Per-View is scheduled for September 18th, and as of right now it's billed as a night when all the championships are on the line. Nash and Punk are currently without championships so their match may have to wait until the next Pay-Per-View or an episode of Raw.

Raw Preview 08/22/11

On last week's episode of Raw, Kevin Nash arrived out to explain his attack on CM Punk at Summerslam. It turns out that someone sent a cell phone message to Nash while he was in attendance at ringside, instructing him to attack CM Punk post match. That attack left the WWE Champion vulnerable so Alberto Del Rio could cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase and win the championship. Punk came out on Raw to confront Nash, believing that it was Triple H who set up the attack. So now the mystery remains as to who set up the cell phone orders on CM Punk? Was it Triple H, Stephanie, or someone else behind it all?

Also on Raw, the new champion Alberto Del Rio has been put on notice. Last week, Del Rio successfully defended the WWE Championship in his first official match with Rey Mysterio as the challenger. However, as the match concluded, Del Rio continued to try to demoralize and destroy Mysterio with the Cross Armbreaker hold. It was former champion John Cena to the rescue, chasing Del Rio away from Mysterio. With Del Rio and his ring announcer retreating on the ramp, Cena confronted Alberto from inside the ring. Cena basically said Del Rio's way of winning the belt cheapened the WWE Championship, and gave him plenty of reason to be upset. With that, it would seem that Cena is gunning for Del Rio. Will these two cross paths again on Raw?

Also on Raw, the WWE United States Champion Dolph Ziggler continues to have his trouble working with Vickie Guerrero. The two were close business associates but recently have become a bit distanced. On Raw, Ziggler and Vickie were ringside to provide commentary during Alex Riley's match with Jack Swagger. Vickie provided a distraction during the match which allowed Swagger to gain the victory over Riley. Later backstage, Swagger thanked Vickie for the help and planted the seed that maybe her managerial services would be of benefit to him. Does this mean Vickie will be taking on a new client soon and leaving the US Champion on his own?

Raw Results 08/15/11

The show started with Triple H addressing the WWE Universe about what went down last night at Summerslam. He promised to apologize to Cena later for the bad pinfall count, which he admitted was his mistake. He also said he gave Nash free tickets for Summerslam but didn't know he would jump the barricade and attack Punk. He said he's given Nash some time to explain himself on Raw later tonight. Triple H introduced the new WWE Champion, Alberto Del Rio, who arrived out to cut a promo. Del Rio talked about how last night destiny took the reigns and he became WWE champ. He said later tonight he'll enjoy defeated Mysterio, that little chiuahua.

John Morrison defeated R-Truth in a "Falls Count Anywhere Match" after hitting a flying knee in Truth's face near the announced table for the pinfall.

The Miz came out to do a mock Subway promo with Jared from the Subway commercials there. Miz said he'll be champion one day again because "I'm the Miz and I'm awesome!"

Kelly Kelly & Eve Torres defeated The Bella Twins in about two minutes after Eve's moonsault connected. The Divas of Doom (Beth and Natalya) arrived out post-match on stage to applaud Kelly and Eve in a menacing way.

Kevin Nash came out to the ring to discuss his actions last night. He talked about him and Hunter being good friends for about 20 years now, and how he's the godfather of his son. He mentioned that HHH gave him tickets for Summerslam and right before the main event, Nash got a text that said "Hey, big man, could you do me a favor. No matter what happens in the main event, stick the winner for me." Nash said that HHH said earlier he had no idea Nash would do that, but they need to get on the same page, that it's just business. That brought out CM Punk to confront him.

Punk told Nash it's clear that neither he or Triple H know what's good for business. Nash told Punk to watch his mouth, and Punk said "you need to watch the show, I do and say whatever I want to whomever I please." Nash told him "obviously your world just changed." Nash and Punk continued their back and forth trash talk about how the business should be run, and what's now versus what was "then." It lead to CM Punk saying he'd go back and talk to the COO himself to find out why security was stopping him from fighting Nash in the ring. Nash waved bye to him.

Backstage, Nash stormed into HHH's office, with John Laurenitis there. He said HHH went to talk to Punk. Laurenitis said the way Punk spoke to Nash tonight is unacceptable. He said he needs to talk to Nash about something in private.

Jack Swagger defeated Alex Riley by pinfall with the gutwrench powerbomb. Vickie Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler were on commentary for the match, and Vickie took JR's hat. She got on the apron distracting the ref, allowing Swagger to defeat Riley for the win. Post-match, Ziggler stomped on JR's hat, and JR tried to fix it.

Backstage, Swagger thanked Vickie for what she did for him during the match. He told her she has nothing to prove to Dolph. Swagger said Dolph would be nothing without Vickie, then suggested she expand her roster to include him. Vickie pondered the idea.

A Summerslam Fax Axxess video packaged aired which included celebs talking about the event.

Backstage, CM Punk walked up to Stephanie McMahon. Steph said she's sorry for how he lost the title last night. She told him he never won though since Cena's foot was on the rope. Steph told Punk not to worry because it will be alright in the end, "People always get what they deserve."

Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston defeated David Otunga and Michael McGillicutty by pinfall after Bourne hit "Air Bourne" on McGillicutty. During the match, Michael Cole made fun of JR's "twang" in his speech.

Alberto Del Rio defeated Rey Mysterio in the WWE Championship match. Del Rio got his knees up when Mysterio went for the diving splash finisher, then made the pinfall cover on Rey for the win. Post-match, Del Rio tried to further injury Rey Mysterio's arm with the ring. John Cena ran out to make a save, making his first appearance of the evening.

Cena got on the mic to talk about having "one hell of a weekend." He talked about how there's many reasons he could be pissed off, but instead of being mad at HHH he's mad at a guy like Del Rio. He said Del Rio cashed in after two guys put it all out there in the ring over the WWE Championship. He chastised Del Rio for cheapning the title, and said his golden destiny now makes him every other guy's enemy. Cena said his new destiny will be "John Cena whipping your ass." Cena checked on Rey Mysterio who was being checked on by various personnel.

Raw Preview 08/15/11

In last night's WWE Summerslam results for 2011, a brand new undisputed WWE Champion was to be decided. With Triple H acting as special referee, John Cena and CM Punk http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifeach put their legitimate championship belts on the line. The match saw a lot of back and forth action, but in the end a bad pinfall count by Triple H gave CM Punk the win. However, that wasn't all that happened, as former WWE star, Kevin Nash, arrived on the scene to beat up CM Punk, leaving the champ at the mercy of Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio made good on his MITB briefcase cash in to leave Summerslam as the new WWE Champion. What will CM Punk, John Cena and Triple H have to say about the outcome of this match? What's next for these three superstars?

While Del Rio is new champion, he will have a tough task ahead on Monday Night Raw, as Rey Mysterio will receive his official championship rematch. Mysterio lost the championship to John Cena on Raw just a few weeks ago. He was guaranteed a rematch on the latest Raw, but had no idea who he'd be facing. Now, fans will see Mysterio and Del Rio clash in the ring again. Can Mysterio recapture the championship from the man who said it was his "destiny" to become champion?

Also at Summerslam, the WWE Divas Championship was on the line. Champion Kelly Kelly had her pal Eve Torres at ringside, while challenger Beth Phoenix had Natalya there. The match's finish saw Beth nearly hit the Glam Slam, with Kelly about to counter it in and turn into a pinfall instead. Kelly escaped The Glamazon's clutches in this match, but it appears Kelly and Eve may have unfinished business with the "Divas of Destruction," Beth and Natalya. Will these two teams collide on tonight's Raw?

2011 WWE Royal Rumble Spoilers Revealed?

With the 2011 WWE Royal Rumble arriving Sunday evening at 8PM EST, the internet is buzzing with rumors about the Pay-Per-View event! There's been a variety of Royal Rumble Spoilers speculated online which range from Triple H returning to win the big match to Sting or Samoa Joe entering the Rumble.

The former speculation seems more possible than the latter two. However, there's been recent news that seems to indicate two TNA stars are going to show up at the event. According to WrestlingInc.com, former WWE champions Kevin Nash and Booker T will both show up as surprise entrants in the 2011 Royal Rumble.

The interesting part of this story is not only the surprise return, but the timing. Both guys were involved in a major TNA storyline but were also due to renew/sign their contracts with TNA. WWE was able to steal them away just in the nick of time and is now adding to the Rumble match!

These two wrestlers are aging, but could make interesting additions to WWE. The question after the Rumble would be how are they involved in Smackdown and/or Raw as well as the PPV's and title pictures that are going on.

The other spoiler is of course the speculation that The Game, Triple H, will return for this match. Right now, many fans and analysts either predict him to win the Rumble, or for Triple H and Sheamus to take each other out of the equation. That leaves the Rumble open for another star to take.

ComedyCentric.com takes an inside look at WWE Diva Mickie James' role on Psych, this coming Friday evening at 10PM EST USA. The write up gives some of the info about the episode Mickie guest stars in, called "Talk Derby to Me".
