Main Event Results from Providence, RI:

Josh Matthews and The Miz were on commentary for the latest show.  Christian's music hit and he made his entrance as Miz and Matthews talked up Summerslam 2013.

Christian defeated Fandango via pinfall.  During this contest, they noted that Christian chipped a tooth during the MITB PPV, so he's scheduled for a root canal this week.  Late in the match, Fandango went to the top rope for his leg drop finisher.  Christian rolled out of the way before he could.  Christian went for the Spear, only to get kneed in the face by Fandango.  Fandango went for a power move moments later, but Christian pulled off an inside cradle pinfall to grab the win.

The Miz and Josh Matthews introduced a video package recapping Paul Heyman's turn against CM Punk at MITB, followed by their confrontation on Raw, and then Brock Lesnar coming out to beat down Punk.

Natalya and Layla made their way to the ring as Josh Matthews promoted E!'s upcoming show "Total Divas" which premieres on July 28.

Natalya & Layla defeated Aksana & Alicia Fox via pinfall.  Halfway through the match, Natalya tried to extend her hand for a good sport handshake with Alicia Fox.  Fox kicked her to the mat though.  Layla got into the ring, with the heels cutting her off.  Later in the match, Layla scored the winning pinfall on Aksana.

They showed a video package recapping Brad Maddox and his first night as the new Raw General Manager.  Maddox allowed Cena to make a decision on who his Summerslam opponent would be, and Cena ended up choosing Daniel Bryan, appeasing the live crowd in Brooklyn, NY.

Justin Gabriel vs. Heath Slater was a no contest, when the Wyatt Family interfered.  Late in this match, Gabriel made his comeback against Slater.  He hit a roundhouse kick to Slater's face and went for the pinfall, but Slater kicked out before 3.  All of a sudden, the video feed cut out and Bray Wyatt showed up on the screen, saying "We're here."  As the camera cut to the dark arena, Bray Wyatt was seen with his lantern leading Rowan and Brodie Lee down the ramp to the ring.  Bray sat in the rocking chair at the bottom of the ramp and started to rock, then blew out the light in the lantern.  When the arena lights came on, Rowan and Lee were in the ring to beat up 3MB and Gabriel.

They beat down McIntyre first, then Rowan choked Mahal outside the ring and tossed him back in.  Slater tried to run off, but Bray Wyatt stood up and put his arms out for Slater to do something.  Lee and Rowan attacked Slater from behind and tossed him back into the ring.  Bray Wyatt watched it all, then got into the ring and stood over Slater, before grabbing his forehead and kissing him there, then dropping him with the spinning face buster.  Rowan and Lee piled all four guys up in the corner of the ring, and then Bray talked about how the world can be a cruel dark place if you let yourself get blinded by illusions.  He talked about how the sheep need to fear the army of wolves.  Once again he told Kane to follow the buzzards, as he knelt down near the superstars bodies in the corner of the ring.  End of show.

Rey Mysterio defeated Cody Rhodes by pinfall.  As Rhodes made his way to the ring they showed a picture-in-picture video from earlier with Rhodes saying Sin Cara and Mysterio wear masks due to fear and ugliness, not for Mexican wrestling honor.  During the match, Rhodes tried to pull of Mysterio's mask, but Rey tripped him into the corner turnbuckle and gained some momentum for a bit.  Rhodes soon regained control.  The finish saw Cody block 619, but then Rey countered a move by Rhodes to turn it into a pinfall.  An angry Rhodes attacked Mysterio post-match trying to tear off his mask, with Sin Cara coming to the ring to make a save.  Rey hit the 619 and then Sin Cara pulled out a second mask to put on Rhodes.  Rey looked a little surprised by it, but shook hands with Sin Cara as Rey's music played for his win.

Kaitlyn defeated Natalya by pinfall.  Eve Torres came down to do commentary for the match with Cole and Matthews reviewing the divas #1 contender Battle Royal where she lost to Kaitlyn.  Eve told them she's glad she could make time to do commentary since she's been so busy helping Booker as his assistant.  Cole grilled Eve about how she congratulated Kaitlyn for the win at the Battle Royal saying some might think she's being phony.  Eve said she thinks Kaitlyn is the future of the divas division.  Natalya had control late in the match.  After a near fall, she started to taunt Kaitlyn getting right in her face.  Kaitlyn grabbed her for a surprise small package pin.  Cole hyped up Kaitlyn vs. Layla at Night of Champions 2012 in several weeks from now.

Matt Striker interviewed GM Booker T backstage about what happened on Raw involving Vickie Guerrero and AJ.  They rolled the footage of AJ attacking Vickie in the ring.  Booker T was saying how AJ shouldn't have made that Jericho vs. Ziggler match which terminated Jericho's contract.  He also said after the assault on Raw, to be blunt, AJ is definitely off her rocker.  Vickie Guerrero came up to interrupt Booker saying she'll do something about AJ on Raw if the WWE Board doesn't do something first.

They showed the Raw Rebound featuring Jerry Lawler vs CM Punk in the steel cage, and how John Cena got involved to try to save the King.  Cole and Matthews talked about how it'll be Cena vs Punk for the title at Night of Champions.

During Smackdown, they replayed parts of the segments that were on Raw involving Daniel Bryan attending an anger management group, per AJ's orders.  Kane dropped in for the group as well.

Sheamus defeated Damien Sandow by count out in a non-title match.  During multiple spots in the match, Sandow kept trying to find ways to escape the ring, or take breaks with the ref intervening.  Sheamus grabbed Sandow by the beard/chin at one spot, causing Sandow to complain.  At one point, things went to the outside and Sandow shoved Sheamus against the steel steps and rushed back in the ring.  Sheamus got back in, so Sandow kept up his attack on the champ.  Sandow had control for a while, but Sheamus made a comeback, eventually grabbing Sandow outside the ring to bring him back in for a beating on his chest from the apron.  Sandow kicked out of a near fall by Sheamus, then fought out of another move to get out of the ring.  Sheamus got him back in again and went for White Noise, but Sandow slid off.  Sheamus went for a Brogue Kick, but Sandow dropped to the mat and rolled out of the ring.  Once again, the Celtic Warrior went out and tossed Sandow back in, but he rolled all the way across the ring and out to the other side.  Sheamus went after him, but Sandow shoved him against the apron hard, then ran up the ramp and backstage.  Sheamus got back in the ring as the ref counted out Sandow.

The Prime Time Players defeated Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel via pinfall.   They showed a Tout video from The Uso's talking about how they've been a true tag team all their lives as twin brothers. Late in the match, Titus O'Neil got up on the apron to try to distract Justin Gabriel.  Gabriel was on the top rope for his finisher, but fought off O'Neil.  Kidd came in to jump over the top rope out onto Titus.  Darren Young was able to make Gabriel lose his balance on the rope, then put Gabriel up on his shoulders and hit his finisher with both knees to Gabriel's gut.

Josh Matthews was in the ring for an exclusive interview with the #1 contender for the World Heavyweight title, Alberto Del Rio.  ADR came out in a 1983 Excalibur Roadster worth $120k according to Cole.  They showed video from last week where Del Rio made Orton tap out to become #1 contender for Sheamus' title.  Del Rio said he's going to do the same to Sheamus at the PPV.  Matthews was interviewing Del Rio about the Sheamus match at NOC asking how he plans to win after Sheamus keeps besting him in matches.  Del Rio got upset and reminded him what Kane did to him at Summerslam, saying it won't compare to what he's going to do now. Kane's pyro hit and he came to the ring as Matthews and Del Rio rushed out of the ring.  Kane said he needed to apologize as part of his anger management class.  He offered an apology to Josh Matthews for throwing him across the barrier at SummerSlam.  Matthews looked confused ringside by it.  Teddy Long's music hit and he came to the ramp to tell Del Rio he'll be facing Kane in a match, next.

Alberto Del Rio defeated Kane by pinfall.  During the match, Cole asked Matthews if Kane was doing great with anger management or what.  Matthews said he still didn't feel safe after what happened.  In the match, Kate was ready for the chokeslam but Ricardo Rodriguez got involved grabbing Kane by the leg.  Kane turned around and put his hand around Ricardo's throat, allowing Del Rio to hit a Backstabber on Kane to get the pinfall victory..  Post-match, an upset Kane tried to compose himself, but couldn't.  Kane rushed out of the ring towards the commentators' table, causing Cole and Matthews to try to run.  Kane chased down Matthews to throw him around a bit, saying he was sorry for losing his temper.  He brought Matthews in the ring and hit a chokeslam on him, then made his pyro explode from the ringposts.  Cole kept saying that announcers shouldn't be the target of these attacks, and he doesn't feel safe out there either.

They showed highlights of Triple H's promo on Raw, suggesting he might be done with his wrestling career.

Vickie Guerrero came out and introduced Dolph Ziggler for the main event match.

Randy Orton defeated Dolph Ziggler by pinfall.  Late in the match, Ziggler tried for the Zig Zag but Orton held onto the ropes to throw him off.  Dolph tried to rush at him on the next spot, but Orton grabbed him and put him on the middle rope for his DDT.  Orton had a near fall, with Ziggler rolling to the outside.  Orton chased after him and tossed Dolph onto the commentators' table, then back in the ring.  As Orton got in the ring, Dolph went for a move.  Orton avoided it and hit the RKO for the win.  Post-match, Lilian was about to announce Orton as winner, but Vickie grabbed the mic away to announce "still your Money in the Bank winner, Dolph Ziggler!"  Orton glared at her as she showed off the MITB case and helped Dolph up the ramp.  Orton celebrated up on the ring corner as Smackdown went off the air.

Raw Results 04/23/12

Raw Results from Detroit, MI:

The opening segment was supposed to be the John Cena vs Brock Lesnar contract signing.  Cena was introduced by Teddy Long, but Lesnar didn't show up.  John Laurinaitis came out and told Long that Lesnar will get there on his terms.  Laurinaitis kept telling Long to inform Cena what he said.  Long asked Cena to leave the ring, as JL told him to.

However, the Rated-R Superstar Edge suddenly showed up as a surprise to the crowd.  Edge came down to the ring and gave Cena a pep talk about not giving up.  He suggested that Cena may have changed since losing to Rock at Wrestlemania.  He told Cena that he (Edge) might be his rival and opposite, but they've always been about "this" - fighting for WWE.  He said Lesnar's just there for the money and said Cena needs to beat him at Extreme Rules.

Chris Jericho defeated Kofi Kingston by submission.  Late in the match, Kofi had control but as he went for Trouble in Paradise, Jericho blocked it.  Kofi tried for a move off the top rope moments later, but Jericho managed to hit the Codebreaker, and then put Kofi into the Walls of Jericho to make him tap.  Post-match, Jericho cut another promo about Punk saying he wants to give Punk a gift tonight to help him cope with the failure he'll feel when he loses at Extreme Rules.

They had a backstage segment with Eve showing up and shaking John Laurinaitis' hand.  He told her he needed an executive administrator, and Eve accepted the position.

Backstage, Josh Matthews interviewed CM Punk in the locker room, and it was revealed that Jericho had sent a basket full of alcohol bottles to Punk.  Punk said he'll re-gift one bottle to Jericho at Extreme Rules.  Punk gave the rest to Josh Matthews.

Lord Tensai defeated R-Truth by pinfall.  The match lasted just about two minutes, with Tensai easily winning.  Late in the match, he spewed the green mist into the air and put the Claw on Truth to force him down to the mat for the pin.

They had an in-ring appearance and promo bit from Kane, talking about how he saw fear in Orton's eyes.  Kane said Orton is nothing more than a scared little boy running for his daddy to save him from the monster, but he can't.  Orton showed up on the Titantron, and revealed he had Kane's dad, Paul Orton, tied up in a wheelchair.  Orton opened a room full of blue fog and smoke and shoved the wheelchair inside, then glared back at the camera.  Kane laughed in the ring saying he doesn't care what Orton does to Paul Bearer, because he's always been the devil to Kane.  Kane shot his pyro from the ringposts and went to leave, but Orton showed up, fighting him down to the ring.  Orton grabbed a steel pipe from under the ring to smash Kane with.  Kane eventually ran off and Orton posed in the ring.

Backstage, Chris Jericho was walking down the hall when Alex Riley stopped him to tell him he saw CM Punk drinking one of the bottles of alcohol Jericho gave him.  Riley and Jericho went over to the locker room door.  Jericho slowly opened it to reveal Punk talking on the phone and drinking from a plastic red cup.  A bottle of alcohol was shown on the table near Punk drawing a smile from Jericho.

The Big Show and Great Khali defeated Alberto Del Rio and Cody Rhodes by pinfall.  The heels tried to target Show's knee, and took turns beating him up.  Late in the match, Show gained control and hit the chokeslam on Rhodes for the win.  It was also announced prior to the match that Big Show defends the IC title against Rhodes at Extreme Rules, with the stipulation TBD.

They announced a special pre-PPV match will be live streamed on YouTube, with The Miz vs. Santino Marella for the US Championship Sunday night.

Chris Jericho went to talk to John Laurinaitis about having Punk stripped of the WWE title for drinking alcohol on the job.  Eve talked about a Wellness Policy violation they could get him on.  JL said they need hard proof and Jericho suggested they have some cops give a sobriety test to Punk in the ring later.  JL agreed, telling Teddy Long he'll be the one to strip Punk of the title if he fails.

Brock Lesnar was shown arriving to the arena at the building.  Josh Matthews came up to him trying to get some questions in.  Lesnar roughed up Matthews and slammed him into the side of an 18-wheeler WWE truck.  He then pretended he was just playing around, and Matthews said he was just trying to do his job.  Lesnar grabbed Matthews and tossed him into a fence.  Lesnar looked at Matthews layed out then walked off.

Later, they showed Matthews strapped onto a gurney, wiggling his fingers and opening his eyes to show he was ok.

Nikki Bella defeated Beth Phoenix by pinfall to win the WWE Divas Championship in a Lumberjill match.  Eve set up the lumberjill match saying there were too many divas sitting around backstage doing nothing.  During the match, Phoenix fell on the outside and appeared to have hurt her ankle.  It resulted in a Nikki getting the pinfall once Beth got back to the ring.

They had CM Punk come to the ring for a sobriety test from police officers.  Teddy Long and Chris Jericho were also on hand.  Punk acted drunk and pretended to fail the test, so Long tried to take the belt from him.  Punk then asked for another chance and was able to complete the test.  He eventually took his belt back and then started beating up Chris Jericho.  Jericho finally escaped, but not until Punk got in a bunch of attacks on him.

Mark Henry defeated Sheamus by pinfall in a non-title match with Daniel Bryan as referee.  Bryan taunted Sheamus early on and the distraction led to Mark Henry able to hit a huge clothesline for the win.  Post-match, Bryan managed to gain the upperhand against Sheamus and put the Yes Lock on him, before eventually leaving doing his "Yes" chant all the way.

Santino Marella and Zack Ryder defeated Primo and Epico by pinfall in a non-title match.  Late in the match, Santino avoided a dropkick from Primo and hit the Cobra on him for the pinfall win.

They showed Kane backstage finding where Orton had shoved Paul Bearer.  Bearer was shaking and shivering, asking Kane if he came to save him.  Instead, Kane wheeled him back into a freezer and shut the door.

They showed Primo and Epico (with Rosa) arguing over their loss from earlier.  Abraham Washington came up to suggest they're being treated like jokes lately on the show.  He gave them his business card.

Brodus Clay and Hornswoggle defeated Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler due to disqualification.  The DQ came late in the match when Vickie slapped Brodus in the ring.  Post-match, she tried to make peace with Brodus and the Funkettes, but Hornswoggle bit her in the backside, causing Vickie to run off.  Hornswoggle, Clay and the dancers all danced to celebrate their win.

The final segment was the Brock vs. Cena contract signing segment.  At first only Laurinaitis and Lesnar showed up.  Cena's music played but he didn't come out.  Lesnar played up that he must be scared then went over the "changes" he wants to make to his contract with WWE.  He told Laurinaitis he won't be his puppet on a string, so he won't be fining him, he'll pay him more money.  Lesnar said he always will get to use Vince McMahon's jet to fly to and from the venues for Raw.  He also said any thought that goes through JL's mind goes through him.  Lesnar refused to sign the contract for Sunday's match until Laurinaitis gave him his new changes.  JL finally shook his hand in agreement, and Lesnar signed.

Finally, Cena's music hit and Cena came out to the ring wearing a big chain around his neck.  He acted nervous or scared slightly by Lesnar.  Lesnar started taunting Cena to sign the contract, saying this is real, he can tell he's been on Cena's mind and he's the reason he lost to Lord Tensai last week.  Eventually, Cena, clenching his chaing in his fist, signed the contract and threw it at Lesnar.  Lesnar went like he was going to attack, and Cena flipped the table over.  Lesnar circled the table, smirking at Cena before leaving the  ring.  Lesnar backed up the ramp with Cena staring out at him to close the show.

On Raw, he battled Cena to the outside parking area/loading dock, and escaped after tossing Cena into a pile of trash. Later on, Kane's music hit and the arena got dark as Eve was in the ring for her divas match.

Kane didn't show up, but Ryder rushed down to get Eve out of there. Back in the parking area, Zack found out his rental car had a flat tire. Eve told him to hurry up, but Kane attacked Ryder, and eventually tossed him off the loading dock onto a palette. Cena left his match to go back and try to save Ryder, but ended up getting knocked out by Kane.

The two men had an exchange of attempted hip tosses, but both blocked to make for a humorous segment. Later, Santino threatened the Cobra and Primo escaped the ring.

Santino made a late comeback with the hip toss move after dropping down for the James Brown split. Back in the ring, Drew began to take control, kicking away on Ryder in the corner. Drew ended up outside the ring again as Superstars took a final break in the action. Drew was in control in the ring as Superstars returned. The crowd tried to rally Zack with a "Let's go Ryder!" chant.

Towards the end of the contest, Zack pounded on Drew in the corner then hit the Broski boot. Ryder with the near fall, showed frustration at the fact he didn't win there. He measured up for the Rough Ryder, but instead Drew Powerbombed him into a pinfall. Zack still managed to kick out of it. Drew got a huge boot of his own moments later, with Zack able to escape the pinfall.

McIntyre set up for the Future Shock with Zack escaping it. Drew went for another Powerbomb attempt, but Zack jumped off him and then ran against the ropes. As Ryder came back he jumped up and connected with the Rough Ryder for the win.

He started up the ramp, stopped and shook his head then kept going.

As Bateman was heading up the ramp, Brodus Clay attacked Johnny Curtis and knocked him to the outside floor. A replay showed Curtis looking up the ramp as Clay rushed over and clotheslined him down to the floor. Clay walked up the ramp as Striker helped Curtis up near the ring.

Brodus Clay vs Ted Dibiase

During the match, Maryse gave her number to Grisham as part of a ploy. As Dibiase was being manhandled by Clay in the ring, Maryse pulled her cell phone out and snapped a picture of the action in the ring.

Clay was dominating the match as Maryse posed in front of the ring and shot another picture. Dibiase managed to clip Clay by hitting him in the knee. However, Dibiase became distracted as Maryse pretended she was going to kiss Todd Grisham. Instead she slapped Grisham. Clay hit a huge powerslam on Dibiase to get the victory.

Winner: Brodus Clay wins via pinfall over Ted Dibiase.

Another backstage segment featured Saxton trying to talk trash about R-Truth to Johnny Curtis. He told Curtis that Truth is talking bad about him behind his back. Curtis told Saxton that he and Truth are friends, but they're not. Saxton said Curtis can deny it all he wants but he knows the true story.

Time for the next competition. This time they had a "Talk the Talk Challenge." The live Long Island crowd would play the role of judges for each rookie's in-ring speech. Saxton talked about WWE Pros, and mocked R-Truth's rap song. Truth came back by doing his original song and Ziggler said they sounded the same. Next up, Bateman dissed Dolph Ziggler saying he has the face of a worn-out catcher's mit. He said Ziggler's name was formerly, Turd Ferguson, which got the crowd into a silly "Turd" chant.

Curtis talked about Chris Masters, but said he can't follow up Bateman's impressive speech. Instead, Curtis slapped Clay in the face, then escaped the ring to hide near the commentators.

Finally, Brodus Clay talked about US Champion, Daniel Bryan. He made a remark that Bryan needs to bring Gail Kim to his apartment so he can show her what a real man is like. Bryan responded that a real man isn't a fat man. Clay gave a mean stare in Bryan's direction.

Striker surveyed the crowd which gave the biggest applause to Bateman, giving him the immunity points for "Talk the Talk."

They showed the Raw Rebound. It featured last night's "Raw Rumble Match" with John Cena, John Morrison, CM Punk, Randy Orton, R-Truth, Sheamus and Jerry Lawler battling it out for the chance to face The Miz at the Elimination Chamber PPV. Punk was eliminated by Orton, Orton by R-Truth. It came down to Cena, Sheamus and Lawler. Cena was on the apron and Sheamus shoved Lawler into Cena causing him to be eliminated. The winner was Jerry Lawler after Sheamus rushed at him with a Brogh Kick and John Cena pulled the ropes down outside the ring. Lawler goes on to face Miz for the title at Elimination Chamber, while the other six guys will compete in the actual Elimination Chamber match at the Pay-Per-View.

Josh Matthews and Todd Grisham talked about Jerry Lawler vs The Miz for the world title at Elimination Chamber PPV.

The two rookies ended up squaring off and getting into a bit of a brawl on the outside of the ring. NXT took a break as the pro's separated their rookies.

Back from break, Curtis was putting Bryan in a headlock in the ring. Matthews reminded fans that there will be an elimination next week. Voting opens tomorrow at 12PM EST on WWE.com. Curtis and Bryan ended up trading forearm uppercuts at one point with Bryan gaining control.

Michael Cole started talking about how the world is buzzing about what he did during last night's Raw main event. Cole said he rushed the ring grabbed Lawler's leg and cost him the WWE Title. Cole said he still doesn't know what came over him. He said he'll try to talk to Lawler privately about this matter, but will reserve all comments about the matter until next Monday's Raw. Josh Matthews talked about how big a night it is, then sent it to Matt Striker in the ring. Striker introduced Vickie Guerrero who came out from backstage to do her excuse me bit. Vickie introduced her rookie diva, Kaitlyn, insulting her again.

Striker introduced Naomi who arrived out without her pro Kelly Kelly. Other pros were up on the stage including Bella Twins and Primo. Striker talked about the journey that Naomi and Kaitlyn took to get to where they are now. Striker asked the WWE Universe to congratulate Naomi and Kaitlyn. Striker intro'd a video package of Kelly Kelly who is traveling overseas with Big Show and Eve to visit the troops. She praised Naomi as a great diva rookie, saying she thinks she'll be the next diva in WWE.

Striker said the pair of Kaitlyn/Vickie may put the "fun" in dysfunctional. Striker asked for Kaitlyn's comments about her pro, with Vickie interrupting her. Vickie reminded everyone she fired her original rookie diva before the season started. Vickie said she handpicked Kaitlyn and not a day goes by she doesn't regret it. Vickie brought up that Kaitlyn tried to steal her boyfriend, Dolph Ziggler. Kaitlyn said she actually gave thanks for having Vickie as her pro during Thanksgiving, but it's obvious Vickie gave thanks for that second helping of mashed potatoes. Vickie screamed out she's had it, and started to leave the ring, when Kaitlyn shoved her down. Kaitlyn laughed as Vickie screamed on the mat.

Cole started to rant about how Vickie is like royalty on the show. Matthews said they will introduce the pros and rookies for NXT Season 4. The first pro shown was R-Truth. His rookie is Johnny Curtis from Maine. Season 4 debuts next week.

Tonight's matches included AJ and the Bellas versus Alicia Fox, Maxine and Aksana. Also, Kaitlyn versus Naomi in a battle of the two finalists.

AJ & The Bella Twins vs. Maxine, Aksana & Alicia Fox
Six Diva Tag Match

When Goldust arrived out with the other heel divas, Aksana looked over towards Goldust on stage. He gave her a confused look back shaking his head. Cole said they put six divas in this match for quantity over quality. Aksana went over and punched down one of the Bellas causing a distraction for the refs. The heels gained control as Aksana tagged Alicia in to work on AJ.

AJ managed to avoid a charging Maxine in the corner, so Maxine hit shoulder first into the corner. AJ tagged in a Bella who started taking it to Maxine. The Bella scored a faceplant on Maxine, but Aksana rushed in to break up the pin. The action broke down with Aksana, Alicia Fox and one of the Bellas all ending up outside the ring. Maxine was still legal against a Bella and shoved her to the corner where AJ managed to tag in blindly. AJ got up on the corner and hit a flying bodypress to score the winning pinfall. Primo rushed to the ring to congratulate his former rookie. AJ jumped up to straddle hug Primo, then he gave her a kiss in the ring.

Winners: AJ & The Bella Twins win via pinfall over Maxine, Aksana and Alicia Fox.

The Masterpiece Chris Masters was introduced as the next pro for NXT Season 4. His cocky, brash and young rookie is Byron Saxton, who was also a commentator for ECW.

NXT returned with Maryse and Ted Dibiase backstage. Dibiase said he'll be a pro for Season 4 to coach his rookie Brodus Clay. Clay is 6'8", 350 lbs. He said he's the world's biggest suplex machine. Cole said he's the former bodyguard for Snoop Dogg, the "Mastedon of Mayhem."

Striker was in the ring with the two finalists Naomi and Kaitlyn. He said it's time for a diva trash talk face-off where each diva rookie talks themselves up and trash talks the other diva down. Kaitlyn talked about how Naomi is the most athletic and talented of the rookies, but she lacks one thing that can't be taught: personality. Naomi said the time is now and she's ready to be a diva now. Naomi said she just wants to thank the WWE Universe for the experience. Striker came over to say now that they've squared off verbally, they'll face off in a match, next.

Kaitlyn vs. Naomi

Early on, Kaitlyn started goofing off doing the robot, so Naomi mocked her dancing. Kaitlyn rushed her and went for a surprise schoolboy pin. Kaitlyn used an airplane spin to throw Naomi across the ring, which also made Kaitlyn dizzy. Naomi made a comeback though and used her butt bump to knock down Kaitlyn. Moments later, Kaitlyn tossed Naomi to the mat for a near fall.

Cole and Matthews pretended they were bored with Cole whistling, saying he was trying to get emotionally involved in the match, but it was tough to do. Cole made an apology for not mentioning Harley Race as a former KOTR winner last night. Matthews noted that Don Muraco also wasn't mentioned.

Both divas ended up on the outside, with Kaitlyn using a catapult move to launch Naomi towards the ring. Kaitlyn settled into a leg scissors in the ring to wear down Naomi. Naomi eventually got out and started to gain momentum with a variety of takedowns. Cole yelled to the ref to count faster. Kaitlyn went for a move off the corner, but met a boot to the face from Naomi.

Winner:

Post-match, Vickie got up to make another speech. She said she wanted to introduce one of the WWE Pro's for Season 4, her boyfriend Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler arrived out to the stage in street clothes, to say he'll represent Jacob Novak.

Striker had the pros convene up on stage to talk over the voting for the NXT Season 3 Finals between Kaitlyn and Naomi.

Cole reminded fans that one week from Monday will be the 2010 Slammy Awards on a special 3-hour Raw in New Orleans, LA.

They showed the Raw Rebound which recapped Miz's speech as the new WWE Champion, and Lawler interrupting to talk about how Miz won after 7 guys attacked Orton. The Raw GM eventually got involved in their argument, ordering Miz to defend the title against Lawler in a TLC match for Raw's main event. Later on the two fought it out, with things going wrong for Miz despite Alex Riley trying to help out.

Lawler was up on the ladder with Miz having crashed through a table on the outside. Michael Cole left his announce position to go try to help Miz up. Eventually, Cole got into the ring and grabbed Lawler's leg to prevent him from reaching to get the WWE Title down. That prompted Lawler to drop down, confront Cole and eventually punch him down. Meanwhile, The Miz made the climb up the ladder. Lawler rushed back up the other side but was eventually clocked in the face by the belt, so Miz was able to retain his title.

Cole reiterated he'll try to contact Lawler privately about this matter, but will address it at length on WWE Raw.

The next pro introduced was former NXT rookie, Daniel Bryan. His NXT season 4 rookie is Derrick Bateman from Cleveland, Ohio. Bateman describes himself as "Man-tastic." Cole joked maybe Bateman can teach Bryan how to be a man.

Striker was back up on stage with the other four eliminated NXT divas, Jamie Keys, AJ, Maxine and Aksana. Striker asked the four former competitors who they thought should win. Jamie and Maxine were both in favor of Naomi, while AJ said she wants her best friend Kaitlyn to win. Striker asked Aksana who she thought should win, and she asked Striker if he's single. Goldust chimed in telling Aksana to shut her mouth since nobody can understand her. Aksana said she thinks WWE Universe wants her to be winner of NXT.

Matthews reminded fans to watch tonight's episode and other past episodes on WWE.com, YouTube and Hulu.

The next Season 4 Pro is Alberto Del Rio and he will coach rookie Conor O'Brian. O'Brian said it's a "dog eat dog world" and you have to fight for yourself out there.

Time for the final elimination to determine the Season 4 NXT Winner between Naomi and Kaitlyn. Striker had both rookie divas in the ring for the big announcement. They showed the Titantron with both their pictures flashing back and forth until finally it stopped on Kaitlyn as the Season 3 winner of NXT. Kaitlyn is the next breakout diva. She dropped to her knees in excitement then gave Naomi a hug.

Striker asked Naomi to give her thoughts. She said it's bittersweet she wished she had won, but everyone worked hard so she's happy for Kaitlyn. Time for Kaitlyn to give her acceptance speech. Kaitlyn even thanked her "ridiculous pro, Vickie Guerrero." Kaitlyn said she hopes fans will cheer her for who she is and who she will be. Kaitlyn thanked Aksana and her friend AJ. She tried to start up an "Aksana sucks" chant but didn't get it going. Cole called that move "classy."

Other pros, Goldust, Alicia Fox, Primo and Bellas got in the ring to congratulate Kaitlyn. AJ rushed to the ring to hug her friend, and other rookie divas joined them. Cole said he's out of there. No big attack scene to close out the season like Season 2. They showed a replay of Kaitlyn and Vickie's reactions to the announcement of Kaitlyn winning to close the show.

WWE NXT Results 11/23/10

WWE NXT Results from :

The show opened with a video package spotlighting Aksana's elimination last week and noting another rookie diva gets eliminated tonight with just one episode left until the big finale. After the opening video theme, Michael Cole talked up the show and sent it to Matt Striker in the ring to introduce the remaining 3 rookie divas: Kaitlyn, Naomi and AJ. Cole complained that there were two weeks left of the "silly competition."

Time for the first competition of the night "WWE Trivia." Round 1 questions worth 100 points and Round 2 questions worth 200 points. Answer 1 was who won Season 1 of NXT, and the answer was Wade Barrett. Answer 2 was the first female pros on NXT, Michelle McCool which AJ got correct to even the scores. AJ had the lead at the end of Round 1 with 300 points. Cole and Matthews found ways to distract themselves playing games on an iPad and messing around. AJ won the competition easily with 1300 points to Naomi's 100 and Kaitlyn's 0 points.

Kaitlyn vs. Nikki Bella

Kaitlyn's pro mentor Vickie Guerrero was ringside for coaching. Kaitlyn tried to give her her trucker hat to hold but Vickie tossed it. Early on, Nikki had the advantage as she used several moves to take down Kaitlyn including a huge dropkick to the legs.

At one point, Nikki tried to work on Kaitlyn's hurt left leg. She locked in a submission to wear down Kaitlyn on the mat. Nikki eventually put the match away, despite Kaitlyn's comeback attempts. Vickie screamed at Kaitlyn post-match since she lost again.

Winner: Nikki Bella wins via pinfall over Kaitlyn.

They showed highlights of last night's episode of Raw which featured John Cena's farewell speech to the WWE Universe. Also on last night's Raw, Cena screwed Barrett out of winning the WWE Title in his rematch against Randy Orton, and The Miz cashed in his MITB contract to become new WWE Champion.

Naomi vs. AJ

Second match of the night was a rookie versus rookie matchup. Kelly Kelly was on hand for her rookie and Primo escorted AJ to the ring for the match. They showed AJ using an impressive submission hold to finish off Aksana last week.

AJ seemed to hurt her lower back at one point, then got back in the ring. The two diva rookies shook hands, but then Naomi gained control as she landed a dropkick to the back of AJ. She followed with a huge legdrop for a near fall pin. Moments later, Naomi hit an enziguiri kick but still couldn't capture the pinfall. She used a surfboard submission for a while, but Matthews said Naomi's shoulders were down. AJ escaped it and turned it into a pinfall, but Naomi tossed her away.

AJ managed to land a spinning Tilt-a-whirl DDT in the middle of the ring. However, she was slow to go over for the pinfall and Naomi kicked out. AJ kept building the minimum. There were multiple kickouts with Cole and Matthews calling it the best match of the season. AJ started to go for a headscissors spin, but turned it into something else. Again AJ locked "The Octopus" submission onto Naomi just like she did to Aksana last week, to grab another big win by submission.

Winner: AJ wins via submission over Naomi.

The final competition of the evening for the rookie divas was "Last Sumo Standing." All of the rookie divas were introduced once again, but they each came out wearing those fake sumo suits. Vickie was upset at how Kaitlyn rolled down the ramp jokingly. Striker told AJ she has a bye to the finals, so Kaitlyn went against Naomi in the yellow circle in the ring. The object was to push your opponent out of the circle. Naomi tried to push Kaitlyn but ended up falling over and landing outside the circle. Friends Kaitlyn and AJ faced off in the finals AJ got Kaitlyn down on the mat but couldn't quite move her out of the yellow circle. Since they were both down on the mat for so long, they did a restart with both divas standing again. This time, Kaitlyn won it.

Cole and Matthews introduced the Raw Rebound which gave highlights of the end of last night's Raw, involving Randy Orton versus Wade Barrett, John Cena's run-in and The Miz arriving to cash in his Money in the Bank contract to become new WWE Champion.

Backstage, Matt Striker interviewed the 3 rookie divas asking which rookie diva should be eliminated tonight. AJ and Kaitlyn both said Naomi should be sent home so they could see what happens between them for the final. Naomi said that Kaitlyn should go because she clearly can't wrestle. The WWE pros huddled up on stage to decide the latest votes and elimination.

Time for the elimination with all three rookie divas at ringside with Striker. Eliminated tonight was AJ lee in a big surprise vote. Primo looked upset up on the stage. AJ got to speak saying she's not a diva model, but she's the type of girl that ever single guy would want to hang out with. AJ said this isn't the last time you've seen AJ, and she will accomplish all her dreams. Naomi and Kaitlyn are competing in the finals for NXT Season 3. AJ became teary and got hugs from Kaitlyn and Naomi.

They showed Primo comforting AJ up on stage as Naomi and Kaitlyn stood ringside. Josh Matthews says the final round of voting opens tomorrow at Noon EST on WWE.com. The show closed out 12 minutes before the hour.

NXT Results 11/16/10

NXT Results from Richmond, VA:

Just two weeks away from crowning the WWE's next breakout diva, Michael Cole and Josh Matthews were on hand for the show. Matt Striker introduced the four remaining NXT divas Naomi, Kaitlyn, Aksana and AJ. Tonight there will be another elimination. He congratulated Kaitlyn and AJ for winning competitions last week.

The first competition of the night was "How well do you know your WWE Pro?" Striker would ask a question, the rookie diva's pro would write an answer down, and the rookie would say their answer to see if they matched. First question was "When I first saw my rookie diva, I thought she was BLANK?" AJ, Naomi and Aksana got theirs right, but Kaitlyn did not.

The next question was "On a scale of 1 to 5, how would you rate your rookie's in ring ability? 1 being terrible, 5 being expert." Naomi and AJ got theirs right. The final question "Who does your rookie feel should be eliminated?" AJ got it right and ended up winning the competition. Cole and Matthews held up their own signs with one of Matthews' reading "I'm with Stupid," and Cole's reading "Eliminate Me."

Naomi vs. Kaitlyn

Kelly was already on the apron with her rookie Naomi. Vickie arrived out from backstage saying how ungrateful her rookie is but she still has a match tonight against Naomi. Vickie walked to ringside to support Kaitlyn.

Kaitlyn took the early advantage and worked a leg scissors on Naomi to wear her down on the mat. Naomi turned it into a pinfall which Kaitlyn escaped. Naomi tried to start up a comeback, but Kaitlyn clotheslined her down and put a headlock on.

Late in the match, Naomi whipped Kaitlyn hard to the corner then followed up with a high kick to her face to collect the pinfall win. Vickie screamed at Kaitlyn from outside the ring. Kaitlyn waved Vickie off and went backstage.

Winner: Naomi wins via pinfall over Kaitlyn.

They showed how Goldust arrived to the Naomi versus Aksana match last week and sided with Kelly Kelly/Naomi. Backstage, Aksana walked up to Goldust with a bunch of sunflowers. She started to compare their marriage to Smeagol and Lord of the Rings. Goldust was resistant to her apologies, but she begged for his help in her match against AJ tonight. Goldust finally said OK, then shook his head as Aksana walked off.

They showed the highlight video of fans in Atlanta getting their tickets for Wrestlemania 27. It takes place on April 3, 2011 in Atlanta, GA. Cole said people from a variety of countries have already got their tickets.

AJ vs. Aksana

AJ was accompanied to the ring by Primo while Goldust started down the ramp with Aksana. He stopped though and tossed down the sunflowers on the ramp, then walked to the top of the stage. Aksana turned around to see he wasn't joining her and Goldust simply shrugged at her.

During the match, Aksana pretended to be nice by letting AJ back in through the ropes after she had fallen out. Aksana grabbed AJ and tossed her back out again. Michael Cole took a phone call as the match continued with Aksana putting AJ into a submission move on the mat.

AJ started to gain momentum with several near falls. AJ was able to wrap herself around Aksana in an interesting submission hold, eventually bringing Aksana down to tap out.

Time for another NXT Rookie Divas competition. This time it was "Diss the Diva." Striker congratulated AJ for winning the first competition of the night. In this contest, each rookie diva got 1 minute to diss the other divas. Aksana had trouble making sense in her attempts at dissing the others. She attacked Kaitlyn during her disses. The crowd gave Naomi the most cheers so she won the competition. However, AJ had the most competition wins to earn immunity from tonight's elimination. Michael Cole was busy talking to some fans in the crowd, so Matthews handled commentary. The WWE Pros huddled up to talk over voting for the upcoming elimination.

When NXT returned, Cole and Matthews talked Survivor Series and how this Sunday John Cena's career is on the line. They showed a special video package about John Cena and how he found where he belongs with WWE but now is conflicted in his latest role. The video highlighted Cena as part of Nexus and having to take orders from leader Wade Barrett. Barrett has ordered Cena to raise his arm as the new WWE Champ when Cena referees the Orton versus Barrett match at the PPV.

Striker was up on stage to interview the Pros on their thoughts about the NXT divas. He asked the Bellas first. Brie started to answer, and Nikki interrupted her saying "blah blah blah blah" then said none of the rookie divas compare to any of the divas you see on TV. Alicia Fox gave her thoughts saying this has been like some sort of Diva Daycare in her opinion.

Josh Matthews reminded fans they can see episodes of NXT on demand at YouTube, Hulu and WWE.com. Now time for the elimination. Striker had the four rookie divas ringside. He reminded them that AJ has immunity so one of the other three is going home now. They showed the pictures rotating on the screen and it stopped on Aksana, meaning she's the latest elimination. Aksana collapsed to the floor holding her head. She got up and said to the WWE Universe she's going to Mr McMahon's office to petition to stay in WWE. She said she will be back. Aksana walked up the ramp and Goldust stood in her way to stop her. He said he had one more thing to say to her. Goldust opened his top and pulled out a paper to hand Aksana, then said "I want a divorce." Aksana stormed backstage.

Voting opens up again on WWE.com as of Wednesday for the next elimination. The show closed as they showed a replay of Aksana fainting then showed the remaining 3 divas, Naomi, AJ and Kaitlyn clowning around.

Cole said he and Matthews have a lot of fun on NXT and WWE is a great place to enjoy family friendly entertainment. Matthews encouraged fans to log onto WWE.com to "Stand Up for WWE."

They had a "Guess the WWE Superstar from their High School photo" competition. The rookie divas each had an air horn as their buzzer. First photo was Eve Torres, second was Jack Swagger. AJ got the first two correct. Naomi got the next one, John Cena. Nobody could get the black and white photo of Jerry Lawler. Kaitlyn got Mark Henry right. Kaitlyn and AJ tied with 2 correct each. They had a face-off with AJ guessing John Morrison to win the competition.

Time for a behind-the-scenes look at Big Show's new movie, Knucklehead, now available on Digital Download, Blu-Ray and DVD.

Hail the Villain provides the official Survivor Series theme "Runaway." Cole and Matthews brought up the Pay-Per-View which will have John Cena as the special referee for Wade Barrett vs Orton in the WWE Title match. Also, Edge will challenge Kane for the World Heavyweight Title.

They showed highlights from last week when AJ and Primo were trying to have a private conversation backstage, then noticed the set piece near them was shaking. They saw Dolph Ziggler making out with Kaitlyn behind it. That resulted in Vickie rushing backstage to grab Kaitlyn and toss her around. Kaitlyn noticed a wedding cake nearby and smashed it all over Vickie. Then last Friday on Smackdown, Vickie won a match against Kaitlyn in the ring.

Backstage on NXT, Vickie came walking up to Kaitlyn and said her win against her on Smackdown proves she's better than her. Vickie told her she doesn't have the looks, intelligence or talent to be near her. They got into a catfight with each of the women tossing the other around. Vickie got the last shots in by bashing Kaitlyn's head off a nearby buffet table. Finally a few refs came out to break things up.

Kelly Kelly arrived out with her rookie Naomi for the main event match right before a commercial break.

Naomi vs Aksana

Aksana was introduced and then surprisingly Goldust came out too. Goldust got up on the apron to start rooting for Naomi with Kelly Kelly. Naomi went for a big butt check move as Aksana came from against the ropes, but Aksana dropkicked her down to take control.

Aksana put a single leg Boston crab on Naomi who eventually got to the bottom ropes to break it. Naomi finally got a move in to slam Aksana to the mat, then took some time to recover. Naomi had the momentum afterwords with a series of take downs. The match continued on with Naomi finally using a high kick move to take down Aksana for the pinfall win.

Post-match, Goldust got into the ring to congratulate Naomi along with Kelly Kelly while Aksana was down on the mat.

Winner: Naomi won via pinfall over Aksana.

Voting opens Wednesday at Noon EST for your favorite NXT rookie diva. There will be another elimination coming up soon. Goldust gave a look to Askana as she held the back of her head down on the mat. NXT ended with Cole saying Goldust's done enough to Aksana already.

NXT Results 10/26/10

WWE NXT Results from Milwaukee, WI:

Cole said it's appropriate this is Halloween week because tonight's show will be horrifying. Matt Striker was in the ring to introduce each of the rookie divas who were dressed up in Halloween costumes. AJ was a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, Naomi was Hamburger Helper Hand, Kaitlyn was Vickie Guerrero, Maxine was Ice Queen and Aksana was the Red Devil girl.

Striker said starting tomorrow WWE Universe begins elimination voting. The next elimination will be next Tuesday. He mentioned winning the most challenges gives a rookie diva immunity from being eliminated.

Tonight's first rookie diva competition was the Halloween Costume Contest. Each rookie got fifteen seconds to impress the judges, the live audience. Basically the rookies just posed and walked around the ring to some corny music. Kaitlyn grabbed the mic and started her Vickie "Excuse Me" immitation, then fell on her huge butt and pounded the mat as the fans cheered. The audience gave their reaction to each rookie diva and gave a lot of applause to Kaitlyn giving her the win.

They showed Ted Dibiase and Maryse walking backstage. Maryse said "I don't want to be here," to Dibiase and Matthews said that's how we feel too.

Naomi vs. Maxine

Pro divas Kelly Kelly and Alicia Fox were on hand to coach their respective diva rookies. Naomi and Maxine were still dressed in costume, with Naomi wearing her big Hamburger Helper Hand costume.

Cole and Matthews started watching an advance copy of "Knucklehead" while the match was going on. The duo finally started commentating. Maxine took the fight to the outside, beating up Naomi around the commentators table.

In the closing moments, Naomi started firing away with punches, knocking down Maxine for the win.

Winner: Naomi wins via pinfall over Maxine.

Backstage, Goldust told Aksana she has to stay focused on tonight because Ted Dibiase and Maryse are there to try to get the Million Dollar Belt. Aksana brought up the wedding next week, but Goldust said not to think about that yet. Just then an immigrations officer walked in. He told them if they're not married next week, Aksana will be deported.

Brie Bella vs. A.J.

Nikki was ringside for her twin sister. AJ came out in her TMNT Halloween costume along with her pro diva Primo. Brie had the upperhand early on, as she settled into a headlock on AJ. AJ got to her feet to elbow her away out, but as she came from against the ropes, Brie leveled her with a clothesline. Brie put a headlock back on as Nikki yelled "finish her off!"

Brie got outside and Nikki started arguing with her. Primo came over and told them not to try that "switchy thing". AJ gained control as Brie got back in the ring. AJ had repeated takedowns for near falls with Brie kicking out. At one point, the ref was giving instructions to AJ and missed it as Nikki yanked her sister out of the ring and took her place. Nikki was now in the ring and able to finish off AJ with a Faceplant to the mat.

Brie wasn't happy with her sister's actions nor was Primo who got in the ring to yell at the ref.

Winner: Brie wins via pinfall over A.J.

Dibiase and Maryse were backstage. Maryse said she doesn't want to be here anymore because it smells like vomit and the girls outside are tacky looking. Dibiase said they're here tonight to get his Million Dollar belt back. Maryse suggested he just buy another. Dibiase said that particular belt's been in his family for years. He told Maryse tonight she's going to help him get it back too. Maryse said "Fine" then went off in French before leaving the scene.

NXT returned with the new Standup for WWE campaign which featured the various superstars talking about how working for the NBA is their dream job. Included in the segment were Michelle McCool, Eve, The Bella Twins, Big Show, John Cena, Alex Riley, The Miz and John Morrison supporting WWE. Josh Matthews and Michael Cole encouraged fans to also Stand Up for WWE. Matthews said he's been a part of WWE for ten years now and it's the only thing he ever wanted to do.

Time for the second Rookie divas competition. The rookies were seated at a table with their pro mentors standing behind them. This was the "Halloween Candy Eating contest." Striker said for a competition of this magnitude he needs a little help. Hornswoggle came rushing to the ring in a cowboy costume. Striker had the minute countdown start as the divas started to shovel their face with chocolates from a plate. Striker had two referees count up pieces of candy eaten and Maxine won the competition.

Maxine was up to celebrate and ended up getting into it with Hornswoggle. AJ came over to help out and shoved Maxine with Hornswoggle crouched down behind her. Maxine fell to the mat and Alicia started to push AJ a bit. Next, Kaitlyn appeared to be choking. Vickie yelled at her to spit it out. Kaitlyn went over on the mat and Hornswoggle gave her the Heimlich, causing Kaitlyn to spit on Vickie. Vickie stormed off up the ramp upset over what happened.

Friday's episode of Smackdown will be the Undertaker's funeral, held by Kane. Cole said maybe next week's episode of NXT should be its funeral. Matthews said replay highlights of NXT are available on YouTube, Hulu and WWE.com.

Backstage, Vickie was screaming behind a closed door. Kaitlyn knocked on the door and Dolph Ziggler came out to talk to her. He said it's not a good time to go in there right now. Vickie kept screaming as Dolph told Kaitlyn she's a shoe-in to win this contest and looks great in her costume. Vickie screamed for Dolph to get back in there so he left Kaitlyn and closed the door.

As NXT returned, Michael Cole said next week's episode will feature the wedding of Goldust and Aksana. Matthews chimed in that it will be held in the most romantic city in the world, Bridgeport, CT.

Goldust & Aksana vs. Ted Dibiase & Maryse
Mixed Tag Match

Maryse slapped Aksana to start things off then took her down to the mat. Maryse continued to beat on Aksana in the corner until the ref ordered her to back off. Still Maryse choked Aksana against the bottom rope before smashing her face first to the mat. Laster on she put a Camel Clutch style submission. Aksana managed to kick Maryse away, prompting Dibiase to tag her, and Goldust tagged in as well.

Goldust had momentum with the inverted Atomic drop, but as he went for the Bulldog, Dibiase countered it to take control. The two ended up fighting outside with Dibiase smashing Goldust face first into the commentators table. As Dibiase rolled back in to distract the ref, Maryse kicked Goldust on the outside. Cole clapped for Maryse's tactics yelling "Good job Maryse!"

Moments later, Goldust hit the backdrop on Dibiase and crawled to the corner. Aksana tagged in and took control against Maryse. She had the drop down punch to get the near fall on Maryse, but Dibiase rushed in to pull Aksana off the pin. Goldust rushed in to take Dibiase to the outside. Meanwhile in the ring, Maryse tried to go for the finish. However, Aksana grabbed her into a surprise rollup pinfall for the win.

Winners:

Post-match, Goldust stood on the apron and praised Aksana for the win. Dibiase came up from behind, yanked out Goldust's leg causing him to hit the apron face first. Dibiase grabbed the Million Dollar Belt and rolled into the ring. Despite all that, Aksana was able to slap Dibiase in the face and pull the belt away from him. Goldust got back into the ring to fight off Dibiase. Goldust and Aksana were able to retreat with the belt still in their possession as NXT ended.

Cole said Maxine's grown on him and he loves

her attitude. Striker said it's the halfway

point of this season. As he was talking

about the competition a loud "Excuse me!"

came from Vickie Guerrero.

Vickie said she can't listen to how Striker

talks about the rookie divas. She walked up

to Kaitlyn asking what she's thinking in

wearing the outfit she is. Vickie said she's

recommited to being Kaitlyn's pro and helping

her win NXT. Vickie had a gift for Kaitlyn

to save her from the disaster. She gave her

a sweatshirt to wear but Kaitlyn tossed it

onto the mat. Maxine piped up saying Kaitlyn

needs to learn some respect and she'd take

her as her pro any day.

Alicia Fox got up from her seat on the stage

to confront her rookie asking what she just

said. Alicia said she could coach her rookie

to beat Vickie's rookie any day. Vickie said

they barely had time to prepare, and Alicia

said the match will happen right now.

Striker said it was official, right now.

Kaitlyn vs. Maxine

NXT returned after

commercial. Kaitlyn was now wearing the

hoodie sweatshirt Vickie gave her. Alicia

was on the apron to coach Maxine. They

showed highlights from 2 weeks ago when

Kaitlyn defeated Vickie in a match, and

Kaitlyn hugged Dolph after the match

infuriating Vickie.

Vickie and Alicia wore mic headsets on the

apron to coach their rookies in the match.

Maxine started to wrap the hood around

Kaitlyn's face and choked her against the

bottom rope. Michael Cole took a cell phone

call during the match. Matthews said it must

be the Raw GM because Cole doesn't have

friends. Cole handed the phone to ring

announcer Tony Chimel too. Eventually

Matthews found out it was Cole's mother on

the phone.

Something happened near the ring apron with

Kaitlyn fighting Maxine near Vickie and

Vickie falling off the apron. Maxine managed

to roll up Kaitlyn for a pinfall and held her

butt to secure the pinfall. Kaitlyn tore off

the sweatshirt and tossed it off. Vickie

confronted her about the loss.

Winner: Maxine wins via pinfall over

Kaitlyn.

Cole introduced the WWE's "TV PG" video

package to show how WWE is a good, clean

sports entertainment phenomenon across the

globe. Other parts of the video segment

showed WWE's involvement with charities like

the Overseas tribute and Make A Wish. Cole

encouraged viewers to stop by WWE.com and

help support WWE in the face of all the

political attacks going on now. "Stand Up

for WWE" is the latest campaign.

Time for the "Who's That Body?" Competition

for the rookie divas. The divas had to

identify various diva or superstar bodies

shown to gain points. They each had air

horns again like the name that tune contest.

Naomi got the first body right with Cody

Rhodes before Striker even gave choices. AJ,

Kaitlyn and Naomi were the only ones to get

answers. Naomi got the last answer right,

Melina, to win with 3, to Kaitlyn and AJ's 2.

When NXT returned, Matthews and Cole

discussed the upcoming Bragging Rights PPV

with Team Raw vs Team Smackdown, as well as

Orton defending the WWE Title against Wade

Barrett. John Cena will be in Barrett's

corner as a Nexus member. They showed video

highlights of how Cena became a member of

Nexus after losing to Barrett at the last

PPV. Ever since, Cena's been subjected to

humiliating orders from Wade Barrett. Cena

was ordered to help Barrett win the Battle

Royal weeks ago to become #1 Contender for

the WWE Title. Just last night, Cena teamed

up with Orton to take on Husky Harris and

Michael McGillicutty. They won but after the

match, Nexus attacked Orton while Cena could

only watch.

Matthews brought up the Goldust Aksana

situation. Backstage, Goldust was petting

the Million Dollar belt and thanked Aksana

for saving it. Goldust said if Aksana

married him she wouldn't be deported.

Goldust said in two weeks they get married.

Goldust got down on one knee and presented a

ring to Aksana to make it official. He moved

his lips towards Aksana but held back, then

wished her luck in the limbo contest later

on.

Time for the next divas competition "The Limbo." Two refs held the limbo stick for the divas to limbo under. As Striker told the refs to "lower the bar" Cole said it's just like the show's bar has been lowered. Kaitlyn and AJ started clowning around under the stick. Kaitlyn was eliminated for not clearing the stick. AJ was also eliminated, followed by Aksana. It came down to Maxine vs Naomi. Naomi ended up with the big win to have 3 competition victories, giving her a chance at immunity.

Kelly Kelly & Naomi vs. The Bella

Twins

Early on, The Bella Twins started to dominate Kelly with several double team moves. Kelly eventually made an escape to tag in Naomi who took it to one of the Bellas. At one point, all four divas were involved in the contest. Nikki got pissed, then rushed over and pounced on Naomi. A big brawl ensued with Kelly pulling Naomi away and Brie pulling Nikki away. As it became Brie vs Naomi, Brie offered the rookie a sincere handshake. Later, Nikki tagged in and then talked some trash before shoving Naomi down. Moments later Nikki shoved Naomi off the corner turnbuckle, causing her to fall onto the apron.

Later still showing aggression, Nikki rushed over to knock Kelly off the apron. She pulled Naomi over by her hair to let Brie tag her in. Naomi kicked Nikki out of the ring. Things went awry as Kelly was trying to get into the ring. Nikki shoved Brie away from Naomi then took the winning pinfall on her. Kelly was confused as to why Nikki was so hostile. She checked on Naomi on the mat as the Bellas raised their arms up on the ramp. Brie was confused about her sister's aggressive behavior as Nikki was mocking a crybaby to taunt Kelly and Naomi.

Winner: The Bella Twins win via pinfall over Kelly Kelly & Naomi.

NXT Results 10/12/10

WWE NXT Results from Portland, OR:

Striker was in the ring to once again introduce the NXT Season 3 rookie divas. There's just five now after Jamie Keyes' eliminations: Maxine, Aksana, Kaitlyn, AJ and Naomi. Striker said the next NXT elimination will be in three weeks time. He said the slate is now wiped clean for competitions to get immunity from elimination.

First competition of the night was "WWE Name that Tune." Five seconds of a WWE Superstar's theme song were played and the diva had to use an air horn to buzz in to answer. In Round 1, AJ got off to a quick start with 700 points, while Naomi had 100 and the others had 0. It seemed AJ knew all the answers, except for one, Legion of Doom's theme. AJ scored a final of 1900 to Naomi's 100 and the other divas had 0.

Naomi vs. Alicia Fox

Rookie versus pro in the opening match of the night. Alicia's diva rookie Maxine sat next to Josh Matthews in the commentary area to watch the match, as Alicia knocked Naomi down.

Naomi got on a roll with a number of consecutive takedowns on Alicia. Kelly Kelly was on the apron to cheer her rookie on. Alicia used a fake out pretending she needed time to get to her feet. The ref made Naomi back up and then Alicia kicked her in the gut.

Naomi was able knock Alicia down from the corner apron area, then went to the corner rope. Naomi went for the flying cross body, but Alicia moved away. She came back and botched her scissor kick, missing Naomi's back. She did another moments later for the win.

Winner: Alicia Fox wins via pinfall over Naomi.

Backstage, Goldust was telling his rookie Aksana how proud he is of her. She was still upset about her working papers, saying her attorney said there's not a lot of options. Aksana said she might get sent home for six months to fix things. Goldust said they're going to fix this together, but she has to focus on her match and competition tonight. Goldust gave Aksana some strategy as NXT went to commercial.

After commercial, Striker was back in the ring with the five divas. He said before the second competition of the night, each of the rookies can show off their personalities for the pro's and WWE Universe. Naomi got to go off about Michael Cole and how she didn't want him to be there. AJ described her dream date saying it would involve Xbox or PS3 and ordering a pizza. Kaitlyn tried to insult Vickie saying that she and Dolph bought a gift for her, some Ben Gay perfume. Aksana talked about how much she loves America and the people there. Maxine talked about respect, and how Hornswoggle disrespected her last week with a pie to the face. She said Kaitlyn's been disrespectful to her pro mentor, Vickie and disrespected her relationship with Dolph.

WWE Raw Rebound was up next. It showed highlights of the latest John Cena adventures with The Nexus. In the main event, John Cena faced The Miz in a NO DQ match with the winner becoming the team captain for Team Raw at Bragging Rights PPV. Cena was about to win despite Alex Riley interfering, but Hysky Harris and Michael McGillicutty came to the ring and attacked, allowing The Miz to win.

Post-match, Harris and McGill tried to attack again, but Cena fought back. Wade Barrett came to the ring to stop John Cena then he started to insult him calling him a coward in front of the fans. Wade said Cena's scared of him and that's why he won't lay a finger on him. The show closed as Cena was going up the ramp. Barrett ordered him to stop then did the "You Can't See Me," trademark phrase to mock him.

Cole and Matthews talked about Bragging Rights PPV where Wade Barrett will challenge Orton for the WWE Title with Cena in his corner. Also Team Raw, will be captained by The Miz.

They reviewed the finish of last week's match where Kaitlyn defeated Vickie Guerrero. Post-match, Kaitlyn hugged Dolph Ziggler. Kaitlyn was backstage practicing some punching moves. Vickie walked up to her saying she had hoped she would be eliminated last week. She said they're stuck together for another three weeks, so they might as well let bygones be bygones. Kaitlyn said no problem. Vickie warned her that if she even touches Dolph again, getting eliminated will be the least of her worries.

Matthews introduced a preview trailer of the new Big Show movie "Knucklehead" which will be playing in limited engagement theaters next week. It features Big Show as the world's biggest orphan, who also becomes a wrestler/bareknuckle fighter, going on the road. Mark Feuerstein of "Royal Pains" co-stars in the new film from WWE. See knuckleheadthemovie.com for more information.

Time for the next WWE Diva Rookie challenge, "Power of the Punch." The diva with the hardest punch/highest score would win the competition. Here's the results:

Naomi 801
AJ Lee 362
Kaitlyn 005
Aksana 666
Maxine 605

Kaitlyn messed up on her punch attempt after some theatrics using the Ben Gay on her arm. Aksana scored the symbolic devilish number 666. Naomi won with her high score of 801.

AJ vs. Aksana

Goldust and Primo were on the aprons to coach their rookie divas. Early on, Aksana was on the outside where Goldust gave her some tips. She got back in the ring to try to take control, but AJ got her down with a headlock. Moments later Aksana did the drop down and punch AJ. However, not long after that AJ got a surprise rollup pinfall for the victory.

Winner: AJ wins via pinfall over Aksana.

Post-match, Goldust got on the mic in the ring with Aksana. He told her he knows she's got immigration issues, but there's options. Goldust suggested they could get married and then she'd be able to stay in the country. Goldust told her he'd do anything to help her, so he got down on one knee and proposed to Aksana. Cole called it "riveting." Aksana said "yes" to his proposal. Michael Cole said "finally a reason to watch WWE." NXT went off the air with Cole thanking Goldust for saving the episode tonight.

WWE NXT Results 09/28/10

WWE NXT Results from :

They started off with highlights from last week's challenges: Musical Chairs and Talk the Talk. AJ won both competitions, giving her two wins just like Naomi.

Matt Striker was up on the stage to introduce the NXT Season 3 diva rookies: Aksana, AJ, Kaitlyn, Jamie, Naomi and Maxine. Striker said starting tomorrow the WWE Universe can cast votes on WWE.com at 12 noon to determine the WWE's next breakout diva. Tonight's competition is "Wheelbarrow Challenge." The divas each had to push a wheelbarrow around the ring. Whomever did it fastest would get a challenge win. Striker said they needed to make it tougher though. He called out Hornswoggle to put in the wheelbarrow to push around.

Maxine went first and got 14.7 seconds, even though she shoved the wheelbarrow after crossing the finish line and Hornswoggle fell on the ramp. Hornswoggle responded by biting her on the butt. Next up was Naomi who did the contest in 15.2 seconds, not quick enough to beat Maxine. Jamie got 14.4 seconds to edge out Maxine. Kaitlyn got a very impressive 12.0 seconds to take the lead. Next up was AJ Lee and got 17.7 seconds. Aksana got 13.9 seconds, giving Kaitlyn the win for her second competition.

They presented a this week in WWE history segment. September 22, 1997 Monday Night Raw was the historic moment which included Cactus Jack vs Triple H in a Falls Count Anywhere match. Also o nthe show, Vince McMahon who had been a longtime announcer confronted Stone Cold Steve Austin in the ring. McMahon ultimately fell victim to a stunner and Austin was taken away in cuffs.

Josh Matthews introduced a video package on AJ Lee, who represents all the nerds out there. She said she stayed home on Saturday nights playing video games and was fine with that. She talked about waiting in line for eight hours for Wrestlemania tickets with her dad. She said her passion and determination will get her to the end of NXT.

Still to come tonight, another challenge: Diss the Diva.

Raw Rebound was shown once NXT returned. It was a recap of the Jericho vs Orton main event. Orton was ready for the win, but Sheamus came in to try to ambush The Viper. Instead, Orton DDT'd Sheamus off the middle rope. As Sheamus prepared to get up, Orton got ready for a punt kick. As he ran, Jericho caught him with a Codebreaker. Sheamus got out of the ring, and Jericho grabbed a steel chair. Jericho swung at Orton in the ring, but Orton avoided the chair shot, then hit the RKO on Jericho. With Sheamus still watching from ringside, Orton delivered the punt kick to Jericho, requiring medical staff to take him out on a stretcher. Cole said Sheamus and Orton meet Sunday in The Viper's Playground: Hell in a Cell.

A special announcement came from Michael Cole and Josh Matthews that starting next Tuesday, WWE NXT will only be seen on WWE.com, instead of SyFy. It will be the only place to find out the first NXT Season 3 diva elimination.

A background video was shown on Kaitlyn. She was a huge tomboy since birth, but got into fitness competitions as well. She feels she can showcase more of her personality as a diva. She said she wants to be the one that everyone can laugh with. She wants to show girls they can be goofy and still be feminine. Her role model is Beth Phoenix.

The theme song for Hell in a Cell is "Sacrifice" by Atom Smash, available for download everywhere.

They showed a replay of what went down on Friday Night Smackdown involving Kane and the Undertaker. In the segment, Kane arrived to the ring to make a new challenge to Undertaker. Kane said he plans to destroy Undertaker for good, this time in a Hell in a Cell match. He said Taker's not welcome in Hell, unless he brings him there. As Kane kept talking, suddenly the Undertaker's bell sounded. Next up was the ominous theme music, as druids brought a casket down to the ring. They left it at the bottom of the ramp, ringside.

As the lights came on, the casket was bright red, Kane style. Kane went over towards the casket saying "the games are over big brother." He ripped open the casket lid, and laying inside was Paul Bearer with the classic urn. He sat up anad the lights wnet out, with Undertaker's bell sounding. As the lights finally came back, Taker was in the ring behind Kane, with Paul Bearer standing in front of him. Bearer raised up the urn, and Undertaker went over to attack Kane ferociously, seeming to have recovered his strength. He was about to go for the chokeslam, but Kane rolled out of harm's way and got up the ramp. Bearer held up the urn as Taker knelt down. Kane yelled "Nooooo!!" from up on the ramp, realizing Undertaker may have recovered his powers.

Time for "Diss the Diva" where each rookie diva had to diss her competitors. Aksana and AJ went first. Kaitlyn tried to impersonate Naomi, by walking around with her butt stuck out. Naomi took exception and kicked her down. When Naomi went she talked about how Kaitlyn was talking trash on her video confessional. AJ ended up getting the victory based on crowd cheers. As she celebrated the win, Vickie Guerrero started her "Excuse me" routine and came to the ring.

Vickie confronted her rookie Kailtyn, saying week after week she's tried to mold her in her likeness. Vickie asked the audience to just feel her pain for once. Vikcie said she wishes Kaitlyn would step it up. Kaitlyn got on the mic saying she's tried her hardest from the start. She said next week is the first elimination and she won't have another chance to do this. She said she's going to step it up and challenge Vickie to a match. Vickie asked her if she remembers who she's talking to. Vickie said she'll accept her challenge next week and show her why she's the pro.

After she accepted the match, Vickie suddenly slapped Kaitlyn in the face. Kaitlyn fell to the mat, then got back up and shoved Vickie down. She jumped on her to start the cat fight. Eventually, Matt Striker had to break things up with Michael Cole yelling he wishes he was Striker right now. Vickie Guerrero backed up the ramp looking angrily towards the ring at Kaitlyn who was still holding her slapped chin.
